And: why, when I import a midi file from band in a box, sometimes the organ only plays a few notes or is way wrong in the octave and I can't seem to adjust it by transposing or even dragging to a different octave in the piano roll window?

#1: I use the FC-7. Built like a tank and offers the option to mount it slight tilted forward, which is great, if you're standing. Plus a spring option for the last 30% of the pedal way. Well, it's simply the best pedal.
I'm not sure, but maybe you need an adaptor to switch the tip/ring wiring.
#2: Power conditioner for iMac? Actually, the power supply deals well with varying line voltage. The best way would be to use a MacBook, then you have your own UPS.
#3: The MIDI file issue is strange. You might try the transpose options inside the evb3. They're located behind this huge door, which can be unlocked by pressing the lock underneath the Volume control. They are in the lower left. Alternatively, setting the evb3 Keyboard mode to "single" might fix this.

Doesn't matter. All HDMI cables should work, some are considered better than others, I had a $5 ebay cable work just as good as a $20 monster HDMI cable.

U have to select the JMS provider for the JMS adapter under Transport Protocol.
The selection of JMS provider could be according to ur cost estimation.

Please don't tell me to retry, or re check my information because it is all correct, it basically says u cannot use thi account due to it being connected to another device... which is my old fault iphone, at the apple store.

I have never before heard of cards being locked to a single device... but your case has shown me that it happens.
If I am getting it right you try to log in to your account and it asks for billing information, and when you enter your card details it tells you that the card cannot be used. I am planning on adding an external HD to be used with Time Machine.
I was looking at a WD My Book Studio LX 2 TB FireWire 800, then I saw another WD - 2 TB My Book Studio II.
While the first look very nice and sleek with its aluminum case, and judging by WD website, offers more features, the second one seem to be faster (7200 rpm vs 5400 rpm) and it also offers 5 years of warranty compared with only 3.
I am not a computer geek, therefore I am throwing the question here: which one should I buy and why? Do I really need that RAID technology?

IMHO, you want neither. I've heard enough bad things about WD drives on these forums that I wouldn't touch them with a ten-foot pole. Try [Other World Computing|http://www.macsales.com>. They've got quality stuff.
As for RAID, you probably don't need that. RAID is a way to make multiple separate drives act like one larger drive, but that's major overkill for most home backup needs.

There are free text editors, but I know of nothing free that can edit Office documents. iOS can open .doc and .docx documents so you can view them, but to edit them you'll most probably need to buy an app. Creating such an app is a lot of work, so I don't see why spending $10 or so is a "ripoff".
Note that CloudOn works on the company's servers, unless I've completely misunderstood (it's like Google Docs) so you must have a network connection for it to work. If that's fine for you, then that's perhaps a good solution, at least until they start charging (which they'll either do or have advertising). If you want to be able to create and edit documents on the iPad itself, then you'll need to buy something, I think.

I bought a Project Red leather case for my 6 Plus. I have also ordered a Tech 21 case, but the shipping from the UK was $15. I'd love to be able to order a couple of more Tech 21 cases, but I don't want to pay high shipping costs like that again.

Yes, I have. I want Tech 21 since it is my favorite brand. However, they are from the UK and it costs around $15 to ship to the U.S. Apple generally has some awesome Tech 21 cases and I'm hoping that they'll offer them soon for the 6 Plus. Any idea when Apple will offer more than just their brand on their online store? The closest Apple retail store is a couple of hours from me....

The Firewire PCI card i got has like a power connection port on it
I was wondering if i needed to connect it to anything or it gets enough power from the motherboard
I mean they didn't supply the cable to connect it to the power supply
and the G5 doesn't have any extra cable lying inside there to connect to it
and so far all hard drives including the isight is running smooth

It should as long as the graphics chip installed on your Mac is stated in the specs of the software as compatible.
Most games are very particular about desiring a specific graphics chip. If it is not there, it will probably have trouble unless the software provides its own software based graphics acceleration.

Are you sending these imessage while on wifi or cellular data? Also your husband would need to be in a good coverage area.

I jst sold my MBP 17 ionch fro the core 2 duo so I can have three GBs Of ram for ma audio apps. I am trying to find a decent priced 2GB chip unless there is a typo crucial says 929.00 I almost passed out. I used to get all my ram there but that is just too high any other suggestions

I wouldn't expect a big drop too soon. That's a lot of RAM density on a small board. Unless there's a major increase in demand I wouldn't expect much of a drop in price.
No doubt there may be cheaper prices than Datamem's. Although their prices are usually competitive, they are not always the cheapest. But they do offer good service, fast delivery, have a good return policy, and experience with Macs. My recommendation is based on a 10 year history with them which has been 100 percent satisfactory.
But $500 for a marginal 1 GB of RAM is a lot. I'm not convinced it's enough to warrant going from 2 GBs to 3 GBs. I have 2 GBs in mine and it seems perfectly fine for my needs.

I have a mac book pro retina, i had iPhoto and iMovie app with the OS while purchase. the iPhoto and iMovie updates were using my old apple-id and i wasnt able to update my app due to that, so i deleted those apps and wanted to reinstall that. so my new apple-id would be picked up.
but i didnt realize these were paid apps. ouch. so is there a way i can restore these apps ?

Have you tried signing in with your old Apple ID? All software obtained at the app store is tied to the Apple ID used to obtain it forever. If you start with a new Apple ID, then you will need to purchase it again.
