5508 on v7.3.101.0 with HA and LAG?

Hi all,
Has anyone managed to get the new HA feature working properly with LAG enabled?  Without LAG, I can simulate a failure of the Primary WLC and the Secondary kicks in as active as expected; however, when LAG is enabled the units go active/active and there is no way to get the setup to recover no matter how many times I reboot either WLC as they don't negotiate the correct state on bootup because they can't see each other, even though all links have been reinstated.
Also, why is there a limitation that says I have to directly connect the redundancy ports on each unit?  I would prefer to have the WLCs on different sites, connected by a L2 link.  It seems like a half-finished feature if you can't split them up.
Thanks in advance,
Jason

Well to determine if its a LAG issue with the HP, just connect one port. This will help determine if its an HA issue or not. I don't know the HP platform, but the WLC uses src-dst-IP for load balancing across the LAG. Maybe the HP is sending the traffic back on a different port. So just having one port connected should eliminate if its a LAG issue or not.

  • How do I Identify Lead and Lag in consecutive dates with multiple values?

    I am using:
    Oracle SQL Developer (3.0.04)
    Build MAin-04.34
    Oracle Database 11g
    Enterprise Edition 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
I would like to identify the Lead and Lags based on two groups.
The groupping is that multiple C_ID can be found in a Single W_ID
and that multiple D_VAL can be found in C_ID
So I would like to identify and mark with "Lead" and "Lag" related to the "consecutivedaysc" (this already matches the D_VAL and C_ID very well) for example W_ID 2004 has C_ID 2059 with D_VAL of 44 for April 2 & 3, the consecutive days are 2 and I would like to correctly mark April 2 as the Lead and April 3 as the lag.
Then I would like to mark the "Lead" and "Lag" independent of if there are multiple D_VAL on the same W_ID
Example that I am having trouble with:
W_ID 2285 on April 10 for C_ID 7847, I don't understand whay I can't get "Lag" in stead of a "Lead" realted to the consecutivedaysw
I would like to eventually have it that the data gets summarized based on W_ID and sinlge (non-repeating) dt with Lead and Lags.

  • Thunderbolt camera stopped working with Skype and Google Hangouts

Some time ago my built in camera on the thunderbolt stopped working with Skype.  If I activate the camera the green light turns on but the screen either remains black or it shows that spinning loading incon forever.  The green light stays on indicating the camera is active no matter what I do with skype even if I press the button to deactivate the camera.  The green light remains on until you completely kill skype.  Rebooting, reinstalling skype, etc. does nothing.
Today I disocvered I have the same thing with Google hangouts.  All the way around exactly the same and the green light won't turn off until you kill the web browser.  Same thing with FireFox or Safari.  Also it no longer works on Viber either.
    It's quite infuriating.
I am not sure if this has anything to do with this awful virus like program called "CamTwist" that I installed once and had a very difficult time removing or not.
Reinstalling OS X from scratch is not an option.  Too much work, too many programs to reinstall and reconfigure etc.
How can I get my camera back?
The camera works just fine with Photobooth and facetime.
    Thanks.

    1. This procedure is a diagnostic test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve the problem. But with the aid of the test results, the solution may take a few minutes, instead of hours or days.
The test works on OS X 10.7 ("Lion") and later. I don't recommend running it on older versions of OS X. It will do no harm, but it won't do much good either.
Don't be put off by the complexity of these instructions. The process is much less complicated than the description. You do harder tasks with the computer all the time.
    2. If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything in the test procedure. Backup is always a must, and when you're having any kind of trouble with the computer, you may be at higher than usual risk of losing data, whether you follow these instructions or not.
There are ways to back up a computer that isn't fully functional. Ask if you need guidance.
    3. Below are instructions to run a UNIX shell script, a type of program. As I wrote above, it changes nothing. It doesn't send or receive any data on the network. All it does is to generate a human-readable report on the state of the computer. That report goes nowhere unless you choose to share it. If you prefer, you can act on it yourself without disclosing the contents to me or anyone else.
You should be wondering whether you can believe me, and whether it's safe to run a program at the behest of a stranger. In general, no, it's not safe and I don't encourage it.
In this case, however, there are a couple of ways for you to decide whether the program is safe without having to trust me. First, you can read it. Unlike an application that you download and click to run, it's transparent, so anyone with the necessary skill can verify what it does.
You may not be able to understand the script yourself. But variations of it have been posted on this website thousands of times over a period of years. The site is hosted by Apple, which does not allow it to be used to distribute harmful software. Any one of the millions of registered users could have read the script and raised the alarm if it was harmful. Then I would not be here now and you would not be reading this message. See, for example, this discussion.
Nevertheless, if you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them. Ask for other options.
    4. Here's a summary of what you need to do, if you choose to proceed:
☞ Copy a line of text in this window to the Clipboard.
☞ Paste into the window of another application.
☞ Wait for the test to run. It usually takes a few minutes.
☞ Paste the results, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page.
The sequence is: copy, paste, wait, paste again. You don't need to copy a second time. Details follow.
    5. Try to test under conditions that reproduce the problem, as far as possible. For example, if the computer is sometimes, but not always, slow, run the test during a slowdown.
You may have started up in "safe" mode. If the system is now in safe mode and works well enough in normal mode to run the test, restart as usual. If you can only test in safe mode, do that.
    6. If you have more than one user, and the one affected by the problem is not an administrator, then please run the test twice: once while logged in as the affected user, and once as an administrator. The results may be different. The user that is created automatically on a new computer when you start it for the first time is an administrator. If you can't log in as an administrator, test as the affected user. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this section doesn’t apply. Don't log in as root.
    7. The script is a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, though you may not see all of it in the browser window, and you can then copy it. If you try to select the line by dragging across the part you can see, you won't get all of it.
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    PATH=/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/libexec;clear;cd;p=(1250 ' 0.5 0.25 10 1000 15 5120 1000 25000 1 1 0 100 ' 51 25600 4 10 25 5120 102400 1000 25 1000 225 40 500 300 85 25 20480 262144 20     Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C.
    8. Launch the built-in Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
Click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste by pressing command-V. The text you pasted should vanish immediately. If it doesn't, press the return key.
    9. If you see an error message in the Terminal window such as "Syntax error" or "Event not found," enter
    exec bash
and press return. Then paste the script again.
    10. If you're logged in as an administrator, you'll be prompted for your login password. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. You will not see the usual dots in place of typed characters. Make sure caps lock is off. Type carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. If you make three failed attempts to enter the password, the test will run anyway, but it will produce less information. In most cases, the difference is not important. If you don't know the password, or if you prefer not to enter it, just press return three times at the password prompt. Again, the script will still run.
If you're not logged in as an administrator, you won't be prompted for a password. The test will still run. It just won't do anything that requires administrator privileges.
    11. The test may take a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. A computer that's abnormally slow may take longer to run the test. While it's running, a series of lines will appear in the Terminal window like this:
    [Process started]
Part 1 of 8 done at … sec
Part 8 of 8 done at … sec
The test results are on the Clipboard.
            Please close this window.
    [Process completed]
The intervals between parts won't be exactly equal, but they give a rough indication of progress. The total number of parts may be different from what's shown here.
Wait for the final message "Process completed" to appear. If you don't see it within about ten minutes, the test probably won't complete in a reasonable time. In that case, press the key combination control-C or command-period to stop it and go to the next step. You'll have incomplete results, but still something.
    12. When the test is complete, or if you stopped it because it was taking too long, quit Terminal. The results will have been copied to the Clipboard automatically. They are not shown in the Terminal window. Please don't copy anything from there. All you have to do is start a reply to this comment and then paste by pressing command-V again.
At the top of the results, there will be a line that begins with the words "Start time." If you don't see that, but instead see a mass of gibberish, you didn't wait for the "Process completed" message to appear in the Terminal window. Please wait for it and try again.
If any private information, such as your name or email address, appears in the results, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
    13. When you post the results, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "You are not authorized to post." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the test results on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created.
    14. This is a public forum, and others may give you advice based on the results of the test. They speak only for themselves, and I may not agree with them.

  • Integrating Oracle EBS and ApEx Aplication with Responsibilities and SSO.

    Good day all.
I am looking forward from getting somebody 's help, the trouble I am facing is described below:
    a) I am currently working on SSO with EBS. I mean, my users can connect and work perfectly.
    b) ApEx is Configured as Application Partner with SSO, and the application we built (it's call PR-Auto)
is working good under SSO platform. I mean I am able to login using TEST user and password TEST in
    both applications (EBS and PR-Auto).
    c) The thing is that I need to call PR-Auto from one responsibility in EBS;
Following my setup for the responsibility:
    - I have created a function:
    Name: APEX_FA_PR
    Properties:
    Function type: SSWA plsql
    Web HTML :apps.apex_launcher.launch_fa_pr
    Web Host agent: pls/apex
    - I have created a menu, application and responsibility using the function APEX_FA_PR.
    - I have create launcher package:
create or replace package apex_launcher is
    procedure launch_fa_pr;
    end apex_launcher;
create or replace package body apex_launcher as
    procedure launch_fa_pr as
    begin
    /** 110 Is ID of PR-Auto, my app **/
    /** 5 is my home page **/
    f(p=>'110:5');
    end;
    end apex_launcher;
    d) New responsibility shows on EBS menu page.
    e) Click on responsibility, and the page shows 'redirecting to login server for authentication', but
nothing happens, page goes blank with this url:

Do we have any other methos of passing session to ApEX from Application server other than cookies.
    Please suggest.

  • Inbound process with WM and HU

    Hi Friends ,
I am exploring different possibility Standard SAP supports for goods receipt process through Inbound deliveries.TO make things simple right now I am only finding possibilities for EXTERNAL Material receipt only.
The steps I know invloved in Inbound delivery process are (with WM and HU)
    1) PR - Source assignment - PO - Release PO
    2) Advance shipment notification (ASN)
    3) Inbound delivery creation
    4) Packing of material on Goods receipt
    5.1) Put-away - Automatic TR creation
    5.2 ) Put-away - Automatic TO creation
    5.2 ) Put-away material - TO Confirmation
    6) PGR
Now I am looking for different configurations by which can automate processes mentioned above from point 2 to 6.Like
2 and 3 ) ASN / Inbound delivery : I know that ASN can be received from vendor (in the form of idoc) and can create Inbound delivery automatically. But what if Vendor doesn't provide ASN message , how can we create deliveries for expected material ? Do we need to use VL06I ??
    4) Once the Inbound delivery is created , I know we can automate packing process ... not sure about the configuration.I only know that this invloved condition technique where we create Conditions / schema / condition records ... BUT where do we assign that SCHEMA ( like pricing schema is attached to PORG group / Vendor grp )
5.1 ) Do we always need to have a TR to get TO created against Goods receipt OR can we can ask system to create TO directly without any TR ?
5.2 ) TO Creation - Automatic TO creation as soon as the packing is completed.
Where is this setting ?  I understand there are two process 1) real time TO creation 2) Background TO Creation. For immediate TO creation I can see a configuration in IM-WM movement type assignment configuration , is that all ??
5.3 ) TO Confirmation -.Like TO Creation , do SAP also provide functionality to CONFIRM TO immediately or through Background Jobs ?? What are the required settings ?
    6) How can we automate the PGR process ?
Sorry for this long query , but I hope there are many other friends who are interested in knowing all such possibilities.
Thanks in advance for all your help.
    Regards
    Shrey

2 and 3 ) ASN / Inbound delivery : I know that ASN can be received from vendor (in the form of idoc) and can create Inbound delivery automatically. But what if Vendor doesn't provide ASN message , how can we create deliveries for expected material ? Do we need to use VL06I ??
Option 1: You can use transaction VL34 to create inbound deliveries by PO, Plant and the delivery date.
Option 2: You can use transaction VL31N and click the Purchase Orders to create inbound deliveries.
First we have to create the packing instruction in POP1.
--> Give a packing instruction name.
--> Then in the line 1 - Enter P and the packaging material
--> Then in the line 2 - Enter M and enter the material to pack and give the quantity to pack in the packaging material. Eg: In each pallet how much quantity to be packed.
Second go to the transaction POF1.
--> Enter RCPT and based on the combination Material/Plant/Vendor, select it and enter the Material and the Packaging Instruction you created before.
--> Then you can do the autopack in VL32N.
5.1 ) Do we always need to have a TR to get TO created against Goods receipt OR can we can ask system to create TO directly without any TR ?
--> We can create the TO directly from the VL32N.
*5.2 ) TO Creation - Automatic TO creation as soon as the packing is completed.
Where is this setting ? I understand there are two process 1) real time TO creation 2) Background TO Creation. For immediate TO creation I can see a configuration in IM-WM movement type assignment configuration , is that all ??*
SPRO - Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management - Activities - Transfers - Set Up Autom. TO Creation for TRs / Posting Change Notices
5.3 ) TO Confirmation -.Like TO Creation , do SAP also provide functionality to CONFIRM TO immediately or through Background Jobs ?? What are the required settings ?
SPRO - Logistics Execution - Warehouse Management - Activities - Transfers - Define Movement Types
Then select the Warehouse and the movement type 101 and select the option "TO item can be confirmed immediately"
This will confirm the TO as and when the TO is created.

Posted: May 9, 2006 2:58 PM in response to: Billy Verreynne Reply
Interesting stuff! It's going to take me awhile to digest it.
For what it's worth, I was trying to build a pivoting function that would take a MYTABLE table like this:
    YEAR CITY X Y
    2000 BAL 95 96
    2000 BOS 101 101
    2001 BAL 92 94
    2001 BOS 101 101
    2002 BAL 98 98
    2002 BOS 98 99
    2003 BAL 95 96
    2003 BOS 105 104
and allow me to do something like:
    CREATE VIEW MYPIVOT
    AS
    SELECT *
FROM TABLE (PIVOT(MYTABLE, [with other params]))
and get the following view MYPIVOT on the table:
    YEAR BOS_X BOS_Y BAL_X BAL_Y
    2000 101 101 95 96
    2001 101 101 92 94
    2002 98 99 98 98
    2003 105 104 95 96
Where the number of distinct CITY values will vary over time. I am able to build the query I need dynamically, but since the CITY data values in the original table change, the columns are not necessarily static from invocation to invocation. Therefore I didn't want to just create a view using the dynamic SQL once, because it may need to be created next time I need to access the view. I wanted to be able to access the pivoted data on demand.A pipelined function is your best bet for that.
I couldn't do was be able to execute the query and treat it as a pipelined function, hence my original question.Sorry, I don't understand.
I'll dig into the code above to see if it does what I wanted, but if someone has a better suggestion on how to approach this, I'd be interested in hearing it.A completely different approach is String Aggregation , where you would get output like this:
    YEAR  TXT
            BOS_X    BOS_Y    BAL_X    BAL_Y
    2000      101      101       95       96
    2001      101      101       92       94
    2002       98       99       98       98
2003      105      104       95       96Note that this output contains 6 rows and 2 columns. On the first row, year is NULL and txt='  BOS_X    BOS_Y    BAL_X    BAL_Y'. You can do this is pure, static SQL, without knowing the number of cities in advance.

The event log in your posting is a general error event which occurs when application stops responding. Please make sure the latest patches and service packs are installed for your Outlook 2007.
Please also restart Outlook in safe mode(Start > Run, type Outlook /safe and Enter) to check whether Outlook 2007 is still not responding or not.

I've just found that three movies I've bought from iTunes on on my iPad are not showing up on Apple TV or anywhere other than that iPad.  What's up with that and will I lose these films if I reset this iPad?

Thanks.  The reason this has become an issue is that I recently bought a new Macbook Air that the iPad is not synced to.  The one is was synced to was stolen.  If I want to sync this iPad to the new Air, won't it be wiped before I'm able to copy these films or am I wrong about that?

  • Problem with xfce and/or mouse and keyboard

    Hi!
Two days ago I've turned on my laptop with Arch and the display manager Slim has frozen immediately. Later on Single-User mode I've uninstalled it. Now in normal mode when I type "startxfce4" everything is showing up, but the mouse and keyboard don't work. I know it's not frozen, because animation of mouse and CPU Frequency Monitor is on.
Strange fact is that laptop is not connecting with the Internet, so now I don't know where the problem is.
It's happening when I start xfce both from user and super user.
Just before those troubles I've updated everything with "pacman -Syu", but I haven't seen anything strange. Also the computer could have been roughly turned off (by unplugging power supply), when was turning on.
    Thanks,
    Gaba

Sorry for not replying, but I didn't have access to my laptop by this time.
On grub I have only normal mode and 'fallback' mode, so I have result from 'journalctl' from normal mode.
I'm sending the fragment of this file where you can see everything after I typed 'startxfce4' in console:
    http://codepad.org/8pYIj8qC
I see that something is wrong, but after some attempts I don't know how to fix this ^^
    Edit:
Oh, I forgot to write, that I've tried activate some drivers from 'lspci -k' (there were no "Kernel driver in use:..." in almost every device), but it didn't fi anything.

  • Problem with JFrame and busy/wait Cursor

Hi -- I'm trying to set a JFrame's cursor to be the busy cursor,
for the duration of some operation (usually just a few seconds).
I can get it to work in some situations, but not others.
Timing does seem to be an issue.
There are thousands of posts on the BugParade, but
in general Sun indicates this is not a bug. I just need
    a work-around.
I've written a test program below to demonstrate the problem.
I have the problem on Solaris, running with both J2SE 1.3 and 1.4.
I have not tested on Windows yet.
When you run the following code, three JFrames will be opened,
each with the same 5 buttons. The first "F1" listens to its own
buttons, and works fine. The other two (F2 and F3) listen
    to each other's buttons.
The "BUSY" button simply sets the cursor on its listener
to the busy cursor. The "DONE" button sets it to the
    default cursor. These work fine.
The "SLEEP" button sets the cursor, sleeps for 3 seconds,
and sets it back. This does not work.
The "INVOKE LATER" button does the same thing,
except is uses invokeLater to sleep and set the
cursor back. This also does not work.
The "DELAY" button sleeps for 3 seconds (giving you
time to move the mouse into the other (listerner's)
window, and then it behaves just like the "SLEEP"
    button. This works.
Any ideas would be appreciated, thanks.

I've had the same problems with cursors and repaints in a swing application, and I was thinking of if I could use invokeLater, but I never got that far with it.
I still believe you would need a thread for the time consuming task, and that invokeLater is something you only need to use in a thread different from the event thread.

  • Problem with installing and running some applications or drivers

The end result is that some things do not seem to work properly, such as my HP printer. Would anybody have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Thank you for your response. Originally, I had a problem with Airport and ended up reinstalling Snow Leopard. Since then, when downloading upgrades etc, such as HP printer drivers, iTunes etc., towards the end of the download when its running the script, I get this message: /System/Library/Extensions/comcy_driver_USBDevice.kext

Sometimes, the download hangs and is unable to complete. The main problem I've encountered so far with an application is when I use the printer to scan an image via Preview, it's blank: there's nothing there.
