About an app

Hello,
I had purchaises an app to complete information about my car, is called Carcare from "Idevmobile techonogy" It was working for abour 2 hours, it was an app worth, but suddenly it crash and since then I can't open again. I viisted de website developer and I had a big surprise, to the link abour the product goes to an emty page, contac us, goe to an empty page. How to contact the developpers? Does Apple support in case, of I can get back my money and forget it.

This is the link to Idevmobile. The Autocare app is on the front page. Contact them directly because if it is NOT a Mac Apple store app it is most unlikely that Apple can help. Don't write off your money yet, keep trying.

If Other (the yellow bar) is too big something is corrupted. The only solution (that I know of) is to restore from your most recent backup using iTunes (see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766).

You probably cannot get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, particularly if the app is defective in some way. If you just don't like or no longer need the app, a refund is unlikely.

My iPod touch is only holding about 20 apps and 16 songs and 3 movies and it says that it's space is full. I thought I had at least 6gb of memory. Is there something wrong with my iPod?

Just curious if anyone could help. I bought my daughter an iPod for Christmas and it's only holding about 20 apps, 16 songs and 3 movies. I deleted all of my pictures, so no pictures. And it continues to say that I need to delete some items, b/c there basically isn't enough free space. I thought the iPod touch, held alot more than that and that is the reason why I bought it. Could anyone explain if this is normal or if this has happened to them. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

You are not giving us enough information. A singe move can easiy take more than one GB. Ehne you click on the iPod under Devices in iTunes on the computer a colored bargraph will show the discribution of storage used on the iPod. What does that show? If the "other" category is greater than about 1 GB you can restore yu iPod, sometimes to factory defaults/new iPod is required, to get it to its normal of about 1/2 GB.

There have been numerous complaints about people not able to get hold of the developer or their support site (link just sends you to another app they're selling). Paid £6.99 for something that isn't working. Very annoying!

You need to approach App Store or iTunes store once you have made reasonable efforts to talk to the developer. On the bottom of your e-mail receipt should be an invitation to report a problem. Report this situation as the problem. Always assuming, of course, that you bought the app from Apple.

Question About Sharing Apps Between My iPhone and My Wife's iPhone

Hi, I have a question about downloading apps to my iPhone.
I ordered two iPhone 3g's - one for my wife and one for me, and I've discovered that when I download an app (even free ones) on my iPhone and then later sync it to iTunes, my wife cannot put it on her phone. However if I download it on iTunes on my computer and later sync it to my phone, then my wife is able to sync it to her phone as well. It's no big deal when they are free because she can just go get it if she wants it. I haven't purchased any apps yet, but is there a way to be able to give my wife apps that I purchase on my iPhone? Or do I need to purchase all of my [pay] apps and songs on iTunes on my computer to ensure we both have access? Or do I have it all wrong completely LOL?? This rights management stuff is confusing.

I had my iTunes account and phone before I got my wife's hers. When I first started, I synced hers from her account on my computer brought in my libraries and authorized her phone as one of the 5 allowed. She had all purchased apps and music. Over time we each bought music or apps on our seperate accouts. Of course, we told each other about cool apps or music we bought and wanted on our phone. When I went to sync iTunes was going to delete all music and apps and sync with the library I was logged into. Didn't want that, only work around I have found is to copy new music or new apps from one library to the other. Updating on the phone is also difficult because you can't switch between accounts so updates have to be done at the computer for apps bought under different accounts. I am sure there is a better way to do this and ask for an insight anyone would have. I hope it works out.

You cannot purchase more storage on the iPad, you purchased more storage on iCloud.

How get info about computer app is running on?

I am making an application that will have a license for running on only one computer at a time. I will have a license file that will hold info about the app, its version, etc. But I also want to put info about the computer that it's being installed on (none of that info will be sent to me, just saved in the license - enrypted - so the license can't be used on a diff computer). I do NOT want the OS name and version (they can change that) but the actual computer info.
I know some C/C++ programs can do this, but is there any way to get this info from java? Does anyone have any sample code or even just suggestions of places to look for this information? It'd be greatly appreciated!

If your product is really good it will get cracked, if it's a specialized piece of software that won't be circulating in the mainstream, then a simple license check would suffice.
