I have a few questions about mobile forms:
Can a form be integrated with a portal, which is build NOT on Adobe CQ\AEM technology?
I've created a form and loaded it to the server repository via Form Manager. Now I can access it in my browser like this:

And the question is: what is the right way to share forms to users on a production environment (without integration in a portal pages on so on, let it be just a link to a form which users have to fill in)? I mean, should it be the same link, or it is only for developers need and to share forms to users some other way must be used?

For integrating on custom portal, you would need to integrate with form submit proxy for handling of submission as mentioned @ http://helpx.adobe.com/livecycle/help/mobile-forms/mobile-forms-service-proxy.html.
As far as url of form is concerned, it’s really up you. You can choose to hide the request parameters as couple of other customers are doing. You can find more information about hiding form template and content root from request parameter @ http://blogs.adobe.com/foxes/hide-parameters-from-mobile-form-url/

Ques about mobile karaoke

I have 2 questions to ask about mobile karaoke system:
1. How to play the multiple channels of midi for combining into a monotone for the usage of karaoke?
2. Synchronizing lyrics with the playing tone is another problem that i faced. Other than storing the time stamps for each word within the song, any other solutions to deal with it?

I encounter problem while developing my mobile karaoke project. I had used "mmapi-1.0-fcs" to develop my project. When I used " mmapi-1.0-fcs " emulator , it can work well on it and can support the "com.sun.midi.lyrics " event. The problem is when I used the Wireless Tool Kit emulator version 2.1, it doesn't work and cannot support the " com.sun.midi.lyrics " event. I just want to enquiry why this problem encounter? May I know why " mmapi-1.0-fcs " emulator " support and Wireless tool Kit version 2,1 doesn't support? Anyone who can help me on this, kindly please inform me how to solve my problem on my project. Your cooperation are much appreciate. Thank you.

E71x problem, and a question about 'physical damag...

Soooo I got the E71x in June, and I loved it, until about a month ago, it started frustrating me non stop.
The phone will tell me that its battery is low after I've charged it completely, and have seen 5 bars worth of power for 30 mins;
it will turn off without shutting down, without alerting me
it will freeze, and won't turn off with the power button--the only thing to do is pull the battery out;
it will tell me the sim card isn't registered and then turn off
OR
the screen will go blank, turn white, and display a message that says 'Insert SIM card' when the sim card is already in, and hasn't been moved or anything;
the phone will die when I try to send text messages, call someone, or the first 30 seconds into a call;
whenever the phone dies on me, I have to pull the battery out & then turn the phone back on, and when I do so a ghost image of whatever i had been doing before the phone died (the text i was about to send, for instance, or the home screen, or the 'insert sim card' screen) will appear for a second, pixelate, then vanish.
I called AT&T, they do not believe that it is a charger or battery issue, since I've checked those anyway. My software is up to date, I've tried all the online troubleshooting tips. I've obviously dropped my phone before, who hasn't, but it was never anything *huge*, the phone never turned off because I dropped it, the battery never popped out, etc. It has fallen from my jeans to the floor, for example, that's about it. So there's no physical damage because of that. I have never gotten the phone wet;---the circle on the back of my battery is white, so it hasn't been exposed to liquid or heat or anything extreme. I don't think my warranty would be turned down for physical damage due to the above mentioned.
However, I have a question if anyone who works for Nokia reads these boards; my parrot removed the 'p' key from the keyboard--just the key, the pad underneath works fine and is untouched, i can still type the letter p and everything--but the 'p' key, just that one, is missing. I can't find it. Would I really be denied my 1 year warranty because of that? is there anyway I can buy a key to replace the 'p' key so that I could send my phone to AT&T? all it would need to be fixed is a tiny dab of glue. That's it. I will be very frustrated if I can't get my phone fixed within warranty because of that key; I would be forced to get another phone, and I don't think my choice would be another Nokia. Please let me know what I can do about this problem, it's getting ridiculous, I can't even answer phone calls without my first rushed sentence being 'my phone might hang up on you but i'll call you back' anymore.

@FastTortoise, I think a parrotlet might be a good fit for you, they were my pick because they have the same personality as a parrot (spunky, loving, fun, funny, etc) but they're TINY, and VERY quiet (comparatively::they've got nothing on cats). Questions about Mobile User accounts

I'm having some trouble fully grasping Mobile User accounts and hoping someone could clarify whether they would be appropriate in my situation.
We have some non-"mobile" users that solely use one machine and we would like them to continue to use their local hard drives. Is a "Mobile" account the solution?
Second, if a user is already using an independent Mac that is not bound to any server..is it possible to bind it, create a mobile account, then sync local with network home folders such that all of the current data in their existing Home folder is added to the Network Home folder? or must the account be started from scratch?
Lastly, What if we did not want all that data synched to the Network Home because there is simply too much of it. Can we still enjoy the benefits of Network login while certain files are local (I assume this is what the synching prefs are all about?!?) Users use same machine for 99% of their work. only occasionally would it be nice to provide them access to their mail, etc from a different client

I'll take some broad swipes at this and let the smarter people come fill in the details.
We have a true 1:1 setup in our office and have moved to PHDs as a means of protecting against downtime. The thinking is that we will have a spare machine lying around with our base installation ready to go. If a user's machine fails we'll replace it with the spare machine, let it sync the user directory from the server, and we're back in business. It's no substitute for a real backup system, but it potentially avoids having to run a restore from your backups. It also reduces network traffic compared to plain networked homes, and still lets your users work if the server goes down, but provides the benefits of centralized management. John DeTroye wrote a nice article about this.
If you've already got data on your "client" Mac you will need to move it onto the server. PHDs will download data from the server to the client on the first sync, but will not upload a complete home directory from the client to an empty directory on the server. You'll find some posts in this forum discussing how people have gone about migrating data prior to that first sync.
WGM allows you to establish exclusions for stuff you don't want to sync.
One thing to watch out for in the scenario you describe is the so-called "rabbit effect." Assume Bob uses Mac1 as his primary machine. If one day he logs into Mac2 his home directory will be downloaded to Mac2. Once he returns to Mac1 he'll still be cluttering up Mac2 with his data. If he logs into Mac3 the next day and Tom and Sue are also periodically logging into different machines, you can see how you'll end up with a mess pretty quickly.

About that damaged Premiere Elements 0.9 project of mine + a few questions....

First off, I should have posted this thread for a while ago, but stuff in life etc came in the the way and such. Anyway, remember that stupid damaged project of mine which kept on crashing my Adobe Premiere Elements 0.9 with a "Serious Error" message?. Well, that issue, as far as I can remember, never really got resolved. However, it sort of got resolved on it's own as I went further sideways instead of trying to go forward when I couldn't. More clearly, even tough the project was damaged and kept crashing my Premiere Elements, I was still able to get out a WMV movie/video of the half-finnished project. Then I uploaded that video in that little test-project I did a time ago when troubleshooting about this. And in that test-project I continued from where I last was working on the half-finnished project. So far and up until the finnished results of the whole project and video, that newer project never ever crashed nor interrupted anything like the other, damaged project did. And now, for a while ago, that project I started on, which became damaged and started crashing, and by continuing on it on from a saved videoversion of it on a new project, it's all completely finnished and working very well. I still have that musicvideo (yes, it's a musicvideo project) saved as a WMV video file, still working and going smoothly and as I created it to be, all completely finnished. While I'm so happy with the ending results and that this all finally sorted out in the end, I am still kind of confused and also pretty nervous and worried about If this same crashing dilemma, like with that damaged project of mine, might happen again in the future... And If it does, what then? Is my Afobe Premiere Elements program then damaged forever? Will I be able to create new projects and work with them as I use to without any worry etc? Or is this project-crashing problem with that "Serious Error" message just some kind of random probem which may and can occur from time to time randomly? Is this just some kind of random thing that just sometimes occurs and is to walk by with creating a new project like I did? Or is this problem something to look out for worry about in the future?
I've double checked also, nothing is wrong with my computers speed, harddrive nor prestation etc, plus I'm using a PC for my videoprojects alongside with all my games. But I've heard that using too much videoeffects in a Adobe Premiere project, even in the latest version, may be too much for the project and thus it'll crash like my damaged project did.... But then again, this is just something I've heard. What do you guys think? Do you believe and know If using too many video effects in a Premiere Elements project, even the latest versions of the same program, could be too much for the project and thus causing it to crash and cause trouble etc? Why is things like this happening and what can be done to solve and fix it?

Documents about mobiles compatibility with J2ME

I have to develop a J2ME application and before, I'd like to write a document about all compatibility aspects I must consider in order to make this application compatible with all (or at least the most of) the existing mobiles handsets (simple cell phones, smartphones, blackberries and so on...).
I'd like to write a document containing, for instance, for each brand of mobile, the available APIs, JSRs, fonctionnalities, etc.
Can someone, please, lead me to where to find such a document?

Q. about Mobile Athlon

Is it possible to put an AMD Athlon XP Mobil into a regular socket A ATX motherboard? and if not Why?
I'm going to build a new PC, which is going to stay in my livingroom......you know, a mp3, divx, DVD player thing ++. I want this pc to be as quiet as humanly possible.
I was thinking of building around the via C3 cpu. But after an rather disapointing review about the cpu, that is not an option any more.....for several years. ( too slow for divx ).
Watercooling could be a solution, but since this is a system that is going to be powered on always, it is kinda risky I feel. ( don't want risk any waterleekage in my computer...or on the floor )
If it is possible I can use the Mobile cpu, then I can take the noisy cpu fan and thoss it far far far humanly possible away.....and we would be almost fanless. But something in my head tell me that it is a hitch somewear

Question about water damage vs. tripped sensors

Hello,
I recently purchase my very first Macbook Air, for which I am very pleased. The other day in the coffee shop, a child hit my elbow and a little coffee splashed on my trackpad. I was very paranoid, and immediately made a Genius Bar appointment. The genius stated that there was a drop inside the computer (near the trackpad) and that I could get a replacement for 800+. I was really upset, but was really sure that very little coffee spilled. So, I took it to an apple certified technician to glance at it.
Their response "no worries....we cleaned off your trackpad and there was no damage. The water sensors were never tripped.".
However, after reading all these forums, I'm worried that the genius 'blacklisted' my computer. How would I know this? And, could I argue this?
I should mention that at the moment of the 'spill', I reacted quickly and my computer showed no sign of issues. I immediately took it to the Apple Store, and did not turn it on before I had a second opinon.
Since I'm new to Apple/Mac, information would be helpful.

I'd strongly recommend getting a written statement from the Apple Authorized Service Center, on their letterhead with a date/time and acknolwedgement of no issue. While there's no such thing as "blacklisting" you'd be surprised what Genii will write in their notes after a bar appointment.
For example:
I referred a user to the Genius Bar about three weeks with a stuck Mini-Disc in their optical drive. I was unable to jar it loose without more "creative" methods and did not want to potentially jeopardize their warranty. The user did not want to pay for me to disassemble the machine and remove the disc. She went to the Genius Bar where the person that helped her gave her the same option (disassembly of machine, removal of disc) for $99+ tax. The user refused the service and said for $100 I can think of a creative way to get it out for less. Last week she gave up and took it in for the $100 service when a different person at the Genius Bar said:
"Our notes say that your last visit to the Genius Bar, you told the Genius that you were going to use a screwdriver or nail file to remove it." They also no longer offered the $100 service for the disc removal and instead quoted her an out of warranty/physical damage service call of $375.
So, long story, short. I'd cover your tracks. Last I spoke with my user, she was still working with AppleCare to have that note entry on the screwdriver/nail file stricken from the record on her machine.

No notification about Mobile Recovery

If I am paying for TEC through Asurion why was I not informed about the Mobile Recovery app? This seems like an excellent service, but I had to discover it was available to me by stumbling upon it while doing research for a paper.
Does anyone know more about this app? Any known issues with using it?
Seems like a good idea to activate it if you are already paying for access to it. The ability to remotely lock and wipe your phone is essential these days IMHO.

Updated itunes, error message about mobile popped up during installation, then after installation, tunes will not start. gives error that a dll file is missing.

I downloaded the new Itunes version. During installation, there was an error message that said no Mobile access. After installation, Itunes would not open. Gave an error message that a DLL file was not found. Removed itunes from computer and initiated new download. Same problem with new download. Still does not open. I'm stumped. I have over 30,000 files in itunes and use it every day HELP

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

Some users may need to follow all the steps in whichever of the following support documents applies to their system. These include some additional manual file and folder deletions not mentioned above.

Error 7 (windows error 126). Have tried to re-install itunes but failed, twice. some end message about "mobile device not supported".

Do you have any iOS devices? If the link above doesn't completely fix your library I could talk you through installing iTunes without Apple Moble Device Support for now which would at least enable you to open iTunes.
