Accepting n numbers and Print their sum and average in Pl/SQL

Hi All,
I want to accept n number of values and i want to do some calculations on it.For this purpose I have tried "&" and "&&" operators. Is there any proper method for doing the same

I don't think that u can read from command line in frm a pl/sql block
U may try using Java stored procedure/or other embeded language for that matter(example ..proc)

Having said, each time when you select the date, you query the table would be expensive method. May be you can filter the date within your dataset already populated if you have entire data in the dataset.

I added Parallel software to my MacBook Pro 10.6.8.It was printing fine then asked me to connect usb. I was just choosing esc. I think I chose connect Windows. Now won't print some things. How do I get it to print all things on both sides? Thanks for your time

You need to connect your printer to your WiFi router wirelessly - maybe by using the printer's front panel (if it has one) or maybe by using a Windows (usually) PC connected to the printer with a USB cable.
Once that's done, you can disconnect the USB cable, and print wirelessly. From your description, I'm not sure you've done this required first step.

It might be more than you need, but I use 1Password on my MacBook and my iPhone to keep passwords safe. The application also has other categories such as "Wallet," "Secure Notes," and "Software." You will have to manually type in software registration (or cut and paste), but I keep all my info there. There are fields for the vendor's URL, purchase date, etc. Quite a good application. And it also syncs between computer and phone. Maybe download the 1Password trial and see what you think of it.

HP 8600 pro officejet would feed and print cardstock. need and solution b4 i return it!

I have changed the settings and it still will not feed thru. When I pull out the try it the paper is lifed up and sittting on the edge but just did not get picked up. I need this to work, otherwise I'm taking it back.

HP has recently released a firmware update for the 8600 series printer. The firmware has several product fixes/enhancements. Below is the list:
1) Enhance ePrint Diagnostic report for ePrint Setup
2) Improve ease of wireless setup
3) Enhanced Embedded Web Services
4) Improve Print Quality
5) Improve Ink Usage
6) Improve paper path performance
7) Improve Digital scan performance
The firmware version is CLP1CN1304AR and was released 2013-03-21.
As mentioned in 6), the paper path performance has been improved and this was directed at printing with Cardstock/Photo Paper in the 8600.
There are 3 different versions of the 8600 and I will provide links below to the download page for this firmware update for each.
8600 Base (N911a or CM749a)
8600 Plus (CM750a or N911g)
8600 Premium (N911n or CN577a)

How to find and print Apple Store and Easy Pay Receipts

I bought a non-Apple product at the Apple store using Easy Pay. After 4 months, the product was defective and I needed to print the receipt to send to the manufacturer. When I found the receipt on my Apple Store app, there was no option to print the receipt. I went to my Apple ID account in iTunes, but store purchases do not show up there, even though I use the same Apple ID for both. I ended up taking a few screen shots, but this was not ideal.
1. I would like to know if there is a way to print these Easy Pay receipts properly?
2. Is there an Apple web location where I can find all my purchases, including all hardware, apps, music, movies, etc., purchased using the same Apple ID but through various different methods, such as Easy Pay, in-store service, on-line, etc? I know when I go to the Apple store the employees can pull up my entire hardware purchase history, but I can't seem to do this on my own.

2 - there are many things that will including lack of hard drive space. How much free space do you have on yoru hard drive?
3 - duplicates and some triplicates of photos often means that you have imported an iPhoto libraruy into another iPhoto library - you never do that - it does not work and creates a mess

Safari can't connect to local server for AirPlay and printer

I have several Airplay devices and one printer set up using Bonjour or AirPlay. This is all on most up to date Mavericks, iOS 7, and 2009 iMac.
In the past, I used to be able to enter an IP address (like for the printer or a powered speaker) and log in to check for firmware updates, etc. But now, while the speakers and printer ALL connect and play/print fine from my Mac and iOS and are clearly on my local network — when I try to access the sites for each — Safari says it "can’t connect to the local server because, it can’t connect to the local server"!
What is happening and, how can I regain web access to these devices?
It does not seem to be the printer, two powered speakers, or a small Wi-Fi device used with an AV stereo. They are all made by different companies and all can’t be broken. Especially, since they all work fine except for access to their internal web sites.
What do I have set, somewhere, that would block out web page access in the local network?

Well, I never could get the Bonjour menu to access device settings in Safari.
So I looked to see if Bonjour could work in Chrome or Firefox. It can!
But you need a plugin. I used Ciaociao in Firefox (I think also for Chrome). It places a small globe icon with other things you added like Pinterest, etc. in the tab bar.
It worked like a charm. I selected the devices from a Bonjour menu Ciaociao presents, accessed the settings, downloaded firmware updates, changed names, etc.
Clearly, there seems to be a Bonjour Safari issue. At least with Mavericks.
It was disappointing that hours with multiple Apple techs did not solve this. A lot of time on hold too. Nobody really knew about Bonjour or Airplay at all. Everyone wanted to pass me off to some other “device” when, it was not a device issue but the broader “internet of things” issue.
Apple is clearly unprepared for customer service in this high growth area.

Mail pdf attachment is showing/printing in black and white only

PDF attachments with color in content are now only appearing and printing in black and white. Is this a setting somewhere?

I have the same problem here. A PDF file created in Illustrator and sent to my client via email. I can see the color on my iPhone and on an iPad but under Lion (10.8.3) it displays in black and white. I was going to look at prior versions of the OSX and see that you are running 10.6? and are getting the same thing. I have received other PDF files with color and no problem. I am wondering if it an Illustrator and OSX problem. More to come.

I can't print an email and "save as pdf"

Since the last system upgrade, which I believe is Yosemite 10.10.1, I have not been able to print emails and save them as a pdf file. I cannot save an attachment as a pdf file. The problem is somewhat recent and has just happened after the last upgrade or possibly the one prior. The problem is only applicable to emails; I am able to save other documents as a pdf file; just not an email or an attachment. This is on a MacBook Pro. Any suggestions?

For some unknown reason, it is working this morning. I shut down my computer overnight and this morning it is working. I re-booted 3 times yesterday with not result. Now I can save the attachment and print the email and save as pdf. Gremlins I guess. However, thank you for your concern and help on the issue.

Help regarindg country formatting and printer formatting in scripts

I'm facing a problem printing the address in SAPscript. Though we try to display the field T005-LAND1 within Address -endadress, the field T005T-LANDX50 gets displayed.
For example- when we want to display countrycode as NL(netherlands), only 'Kingdom of the Netherlands' is diplayed.
i believe this is because of the Country format used in the adress. Is there anyway we can change the country formating.
Also the output gets different alignment when we use differnt printers for preview. is there anyway to overcome this?

this is quite natural that ur print preview and print out differs and it differs from printer to printer.so, u have to define the paper size correctly and check if possible the type of printer they will be usually using.
here in ur case r u trying to pring the country key or country name.
in fact u have to pick the country key and print the country name in that place by getting the name from check table.

Reader X and printing issues

This past weekend I updated Acrobat on my wife's computer (Windows XP SP3). I uninstalled Acrobat 9, downloaded and installed Acrobat X. Everything seemed to work, I get a frantic phone call Wednesday night from my wife (we are trying to sell my house 40 miles away and I'm house sitting...), when she prints a PDF form from the web, the printing is screwed up, the original font appears to have some italics, that was changed to some sort of bold font that is compressed horizontally, the kerning looks weird as well. It looks okay on the screen but totally screwed up on the printed page.
So Wednesday night, I use her laptop that hasn't been updated (thankfully), downloaded and printed the page and it looks fine.
I had her test the same functionality on her work computer and the same thing happens. I also updated her work computer (from Acrobat 8) the same weekend <sigh>.
Does anyone have a clue?

Hi Guys,
Had the same problem at a client site and it was driving me crazy. Turns out that its a very simple fix. Under Preferences in the General tab, take a tick out of Enable Protected Mode at startup.
Once I did that on all client computers they printed fine to all printers.
Hope that helps some people.

We can't know. you have not provided any exact details about your document, your system, your version of AI, your print settings, your printer. You need to do a lot better and explain properly.
