  • Account postings in GR & IR for Subcontracting

    Hi Experts,
I need to know the account postings for both GR & IR during Sub contracting.
Let us take the scenario . .
    PO price - 1000(Gross) +  200(Tax) = 1200 (Net) for 1 Qty
GR - PO Net Price due to Moving Average price.
    IR - 1200(Gross) + 240 (Tax) = 1440
Please explain the accounting entries during Goods Receipt and Invoice Receipt.
    By
    Prabhu

If Material has Price Control as "V" (MAP)
(BSX) Stock A/c of Assembly - Dr
(BSV) Change in Subcon Stock - Cr
    (FRL) Subcontracting Charges - Dr
    (WRX) GR/IR Clearing A/c - Cr
(BSX) Stock A/c of Components - Cr
    (GBB-VBO) Consumption A/c of Components - Dr
If Material has Price Control as "S" (Std. Price)
If Material is having Price Control as "S" then Price Difference A/c will also in picture.
This depends on configuration; SPRO > MM > Inventory Management and Physical Inventory > Goods Receipt > Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
Price Differences for Subcontract Orders at Goods Receipt
In this step, you configure for each valuation area whether price differences are generated for a Subcontract order at the time of a goods receipt if the manufactured material is managed at standard price and the standard price varies from the receipt value (externally performed service + value of components + delivery costs).
    Example
Finished product: $400 (value at standard price)
    Subcontract order:
    o Ext. service : $250
    o Components : $100
    Posting schema without price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 400 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    Posting schema with price differences:
    Stock account FERT : 400 +
    Stock change : 350 -
    Price difference : 50 -
    GR/IR clearing acct : 250 -
    External service acct : 250 +
    Compon. stock account : 100 -
    Consumption account : 100 +
    hope it help

    Hi.
The system logic is the following:
In the master record of your one-time account, there is a field called
'Reference account group'. The field status settings of the account
group entered here are relevant for the one time vendor screen.
Please note that even if the fields are changed from mandatory to
optional if the NAME and CITY of the One Time Vendor is not filled, the
system will still prompt the Error Message F5266.
If you do not enter the name and city you will receive error F5266.
The system logic here is to make sure that the name and the city being
keyed-in properly for the Executive Information System reportings.
Please note that it is hard-coded in the system.
    Check the following notes
    604312
    587806
    548834
    513748
    512360
Also if you are using any bapi to post the document, you can  resolve the issue pass-in 'Name', City and Region field values in BAPI while creating the billing document.
I hope I could be of assistance.

  • Accounting postings for subcontract PO goods receipt

    Hi,
Can someone please explain the accounting postings that occur when a subcontract PO is received?  I understand the usual inventory and GR/IR account entries.  But there are 2 additional account entries for transaction keys FRL and BSV.  These appear to be posted for the material being received, not the one being supplied to vendor (this one is $0 in our system).
    Thanks in advance,
    -Den

When you post a GR for the ordered material (the end product), the system determines the components and creates a goods issue item for each component. The GR document consists of the following items:
1.Goods receipt items for the materials supplied by the vendor
    2. Goods issue items for the components
Here is a link that explains the postings

  • Automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order

    Hi all,
I need some help related to the automatic account postings (for Intercompany Purchase order and Sales order)which i can set for the follwoing scenarios. I have looked on the forms and searched alot but not able to a single solution to solve both the pupose. if one scenario works the other doesnt. Please advise.
I have created the master data
    Customer receiving--G001
    Sales Org.--GXIN
    Distr. Channel- 01
    Division - 00
    Company code receiving - G1
    customer supplying- V001
    company code for supplying- V1
    2 different scenarios
1- Intercompany Purchase order in which a Customer receiving- G001, gets stock replenishment NB purchase order from supplying company V1- GI  and GR of stock is done. Biling document for customer receiving G001 is created. But now I need a way to do the opposite side posting at the supplying customer -V001-- this I do using an Idoc which creates a Invoice receipt for creditor(supplying customer) V001.
    2. Sales order-- A customer X001 of company code G1 buys stock from the company code V1. the customer G001 of company code G1 bills the customer X001, but the intercompany billing doc/ invoice is created for the customer G001 by company code V1.  then now i want an automatic account posting to be created at the supplying customer V001 via idoc.
Can this be achivable via Idoc with automatic account postings.
Please let me know if it doesnt make sense. thanks to all in advance
    cheers
    Jasmeet

    Hi all,
For the Sales order and automatic posting we have created an output type ZR4N- this is creating a batch input session which can be triggered to be processed autmatically.
For the intercompany Purchase order -from Invoice we are creating a different output RD04 (sap standard) which creates invoice receipt at the vendor side.
Rest of the settings are defined using SAP standard functionality within transaction OBCA, OBCB, OBCC, OBCD,OBCE
    thanks for viwing the post
    Cheers

  • Accounting postings during Stock transfer

    Hi All
I have a issue as described below.
We bring in material by using 101, stock goes to quality, Account postings happen to Inventroy and GR/IR.
I am yet to clear the quality stock to either Un-restricted or if rejected to return or blocked stock to vendor during Usage decission using QA32,
My problem is Even though I am in the midst of this process Finance people are able to clear payment(MIRO) the vendor as vendor outstanding(GR/IR) shows clearly, there is no blocking by the system saying the stock is in Quality or blocked etc. no procesing can be made.
I want FI people to pay if the stock is in Un-restricted stock only. Not any where-else. What I found out if I move to blocked then also there is no blocking by the system.
How do I come over from it?
pls guide what settings i have missed.
    Thanks
    Samuel

    Hello Samuel,
You have to tick QM in proc active check box in the QM view of the material master and assign a control key in to the material. The control key has to be defined in customizing to block invoice if the goods are in quality inspection. You will find the relevant indicator "Block invoice" in the path SPRO> QM>QM in logistics--> QM in procurement --> Define control keys
    Hope this solves your problem.

  • G/L account postings control in Accounting document

    Dear All,
We have a scenario, where Business are using different materials for special charges. For these materials business decided to go with Credit and Debit memo process.
Globally Business is using same Billing type CR/DR.
anotherr information is they have the only one pricing procedure for Trading sales and Cr/DR also.
While posting the credit note if the customer is eligible for rebates, then Rebate values also posting to accounting. These values are also nullifying.
But Business requirement is whenever they process the special charges materials ( we have defined seperate materials ), Rebate values should not post to accounting means even it is nullifying also.
We can create a new pricing procedure for this process because its Global process and each country will have the different taxations.
So how to control the accounting postings while saving the invoice?
Could you please help on the same.. Is there any user exit to control the Accounting postings?
    Thanks in advance..
    Regards,
    SK

Give your constraints, I would look at finding a way to exclude (by requirement routine or exclusion) the rebate conditions in case where one of the special materials are used.
You will need to choose a field on the material master to identify materials used for the special charges. The material account assignment group is a strong possibility.
    Some possibilities:
    1. In the pricing procedure, add a requirement routine to skip the rebate accruals in the material is for special charges.  OR
    2. In the access sequence for the rebate conditions, use a similar requirement routine OR
    3. Add a statistical condition to the pricing procedure that will be included when then material is for special charges - PLUS exclusion rules that drop the rebate conditions if this condition is present.
    The simplest option is #1.

  • Explain Price qty variance account postings...

    Hello
Could anyone explain the price quantity variance and its account postings.
    What will happen when:
    1. PO for 100 pcs @ 2.0
    2. IR for 50 pcs @ 2.2
    3.  GR For 80 pcs
    4. IR again for rest 50 pcs @ 2.2
What will the GR take as a price and what will be the account entries at fourth step??
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi
    1. PO for 100 pcs @ 2.0
    2. IR for 50 pcs @ 2.2
Total GR/IR debit will be 110 for 50 pcs
    3. GR For 80 pcs
Hope assumes the value of GR/IR debit from IR for 50pcs and for rest 30 it will take price from PO.
So GR/IR credit will be 170 for 80pcs
    4. IR again for rest 50 pcs @ 2.2
It will take @2 for 30pcs as there is GR, for rest 20pcs it will assume 2.2 but if the price is MAP, then total quantity will be revaluated at 2.2.
    Please check once.
    Thanks

  • Subcontracting Account Postings

    Hi,
Can any body explain me what are the posting happen during Subcontracting cycle, After GI and after GR (101 and 543).
What might be the difference if we used price control V or S.

Accounting Entries for a Subcontract Order
You check an invoice for a subcontract order in the same way as for a standard purchase order.
Additional account postings do, however, occur if a price variance has occurred. These postings are shown in the following example :-
    Postings for a Subcontract Order
In this example, a subcontract order was created for the end product "ASSEM-1". The components COMP-1 and COMP-2 were provided to the subcontractor.
    Purchase Order
50 pieces of material ASSEM-1 were ordered. The subcontract price is $10/piece (total value = $500).
The following components were provided to the subcontractor:
15 kg   of the component COMP-1
5 pcs of the component COMP-2
    Good Receipt
The subcontractor delivers 50 pieces of material ASSEM-1.
At goods receipt a consumption posting for the components provided to the subcontractor is automatically made. It is valuated at the price from the material master record, for example:
    15 kg  of the component COMP-1 at $20/kg = $300
       5 pcs of the component COMP-2 at $30/pc = $150
The goods receipt is valuated with $950. This is calculated as follows:
    the subcontract price      (50 pcs * $10/pc = $500) and
    value of the components ($300 + $150).
    Invoice Receipt
The vendor (subcontractor) sends you an invoice for the subcontract work. However, the price is $10.50/pc. The invoice is, therefore, 50 pieces ASSEM-1 * $10.50/pc = $525.
Posting Schema for Moving Average Price Control
In this example, the following postings are made at goods receipt and invoice receipt, if the material (end product) is valuated at moving average price:
    Postings
          At goods receipt
          At invoice receipt
          Vendor account
                  525 -
          GR/IR clearing account
                  500 -
                  500 +
          External service account
                 500 +
                   25 +
          Stock account: end product
                 950 +
                   25 +
          Stock change
                 950 -
                   25 -
          Stock account: comp.
                  450 -
          Consumption account
                 450 +
Posting Schema for Standard Price Control Without Price Differences
For materials (end products) with standard price control also note that no price differences are posted if the total of the external service value (for example, $500) plus the "material to be provided" value (for example, $450) varies from the value at standard price (for example, $1000). Posting of a price difference is not required because each posting line has its own
    offsetting entry.
No posting lines are created on the stock account or on the stock change account when an invoice is received.
In the above example, the following postings are made for a material with a standard price of $20:
    Postings
         At goods receipt
         At invoice receipt
         Vendor account
              525 -
          GR/IR clearing account
              500 -
              500 +
    External service account
             500 +
               25 +
    Stock account: end product
           1000 +
    Stock change
           1000 -
    Stock account: comp.
             450 -
    Consumption account
            450 +
Posting Schema for Standard Price Control With Price Differences.
However, if you wish to generate a price difference posting in those cases where the manufactured material is managed at standard price and the standard price varies from the receipt value (externally performed service + value of components + delivery costs), you can configure this in the Customizing system of Inventory Management.
In the above example, the following postings (including price differences) are made for a material with a standard price of $20:
    Postings
           At goods receipt
           At invoice receipt
    Vendor account
           525 -
    GR/IR clearing account
           500 -
           500 +
    External service account
           500 +
             25 +
    Stock account: end product
         1000 +
    Stock change
           950 -
    Price difference
            50 +
    Stock account: comp.
            450 -
    Consumption account
           450 +

  • Account postings for consignment

    Dear experts,
Please explain me the account postings for consignment.
    thanks in advance,

    Hi,
    Consignment
You manage material A from your vendor as consignment stock at a consignment price of $10/piece.
    Goods Withdrawal
When you withdraw 100 pieces for consumption, the system makes a posting to the consumption account based on the consignment price. The offsetting entry is made to the account Liabilities from consignment stock.
    Consignment and Pipeline Settlement
When the consignment withdrawals are settled, the liability created at the time of the withdrawal is cleared. The offsetting entry is posted to the vendor account.
The system determines which taxes are to be posted for each item from the consignment info record or pipeline info record.
When the system makes postings to the liabilities account, be they for withdrawals or for settlements, it creates the allocation number automatically from the material document number, so that the open items in Financial Accounting can be cleared.

  • How to configure to generate two accounting documents for Mvt 645

    Dear Experts,
I read all documents related to STO one-step procedure (mvt 645). They said that the system generate two accounting documents for 2 company codes (receing and issuing company codes) after goods issue reference to DO.
However, after configuration one step procedure and test my system, the system only generated one accounting document for receiving company code, not for issuing company code. In Material document, I saw 2 Mvt 645 and 101. In the lines having Mvt 645, I saw G/L account of cost-of-goods-sold.
Could you please to show me how to generate two accounting documnets automatically after goods issue referent to DO with Mvt 645?
    Thank you so much,
    Best regards,
