ACE to CSS feature implementation

Hi Experts,
I have a ACE 4710 with my application working there, I need to enable the same method in the my production environment but the appliance there s CSS 11502, could you please help me to translate how may I enable the same features in CSS?

Great, but now i have another question.
It is about Cookies and Stickyness, very complex:
On CSS i can have a cookie like this:
"Cookie: hrz-server1!sessionid=189545484f9u85"
"Cookie: hrz-server2!sessionid=289545484f9u85"
"Cookie: hrz-server6!sessionid=685u4895454u85"
and Search for the prefix "hrz-" searching the cookie String
"server1"
"server2"
"server3"
to determine the right server and end up with a eos Char of "!".
On The Ace, i have to tell, how the cookie is named, but the Name of the cookie itself differs more than tow times. I think the name of thee cookie is
"hrz-server1!sessionid"
"hrz-server2!sessionid"
"hrz-server3!sessionid"
Is this right, that the ACE searchs the name of the cookie, or does it work like the prefix on the css and is not correctly documented?
Any Idea how i can stick the client to the right Server using a cookie like here with the ACE Module?

Thanks for the answer this is very useful however I still find that Dreamwever defaults back to writing in CSS, I have to go to the manel every time and switch from CSS style to Inline style which is very irritating. Is there any way to disable writing in CSS all together like their used to be in CS3..in the preferences.

How can I make use of the CSS feature?

Hi I am using Cr4E to design a report that will be deployed over the web both as an html page and in PDF format. I now want to assign styles to the fields in the report so that the PDF and the HTML version look differently . My questions:1) Is there a short explanation on how to that properly? 2) I assume that the CSS styles will only be used in the HTML version and will be ignored in the PDF. Is that correct and - if not - is there another way to apply different styles to the PDF and HTML? As always any suggestions are highly appreciated!Peter Buchmann from a rainy Zurich, Switzerland 

Hi Peter, Ok, I learned something new on this one as well. It appears that the JRC has not yet been updated to include CSS support. As you mentioned, the CSS feature will enable specific output when rendered in our HTML viewer. So to answer your question, yes, if this was indeed supported, it would provide a different output when viewed over the web as opposed to PDF format.Now, I know the next question you have is "If it is not supported, then why is it exposed?". There are actually 2 reasons for this:<ol><li>This same Designer is also bundled with IBM Rational Application Developer. With the RAD integration we include an Enterprise Repository Explorer view which will allow users to publish reports to a BusinessObjects Enterprise or Crystal Reports Server system. On these systems the CSS field will work. </li><li> Backwards-compatibility - if you open an existing report designed by the external designer then you will need to ensure that all of the properties are re-saved when the report is saved in the CR4E designer. Users can still modify these values, it's just that they will not be honored by the runtime engine.</li></ol>The good news is that we should have support for this feature in the next full release of Crystal Reports for Eclipse. Unfortunately, I don't think I can officially comment on timelines until early next year, once I get some resource commitments. How install or update "copy css" feature to Photoshop cs 6 Extended 13.0.1

I am using Photoshop cs 6 Extended version 13.0.1, i wish to install Copy Css feature to my Photoshop version, i am also tried to update through my Photoshop (help->updates..), but it only updated 13.0 to 13.0.1, so how to install copy css feature to my Photoshop version

Maximum header size on ACE and CSS

whats the max size for header that u can allocate on CSS and ACE?

The CSS limit is in terms of packets...
501-1(config)# spanning-packets ?
Integer value(Range: 1-20)

We can hold max 20 packets per connection.
So, if you are doing L7 loadbalancing and are looking for a cookie, it better be in the first 20 packets.
ACE has a limit in buffers per connection and a limit of header size.
They are controller with a parameter-map

Comparing ACE to CSS

I'm currently evaluating the ACE module for out enviroment.
May we will take out all our CSS11500 and convert to the ACE Module.
But i have a feq Questins about the Config.
1)
Sometimes i currently use groups for source-nat. I do nat the source-IP in the same VIP as the content rule.
How can i archive this also for the ACE?
I'm missing somthing line "nat client" how it is working on the CSM.
2)
Also i have a general Question about NAT on the ACE.
I have an enviroment where i have many VIPs pointing do my different servers.
If a client is accessing the VIP there is only a destination NAT done by the content rule loadbalancing.
For all Connections which are initiated from the servers i do a NAT/PAT into a group.
"clause 100 permit any nql servernet destination any sourcegroup nat-out"
Can the Ace handle this similar, so that only connections from inside are translated?

CSS - AVS implementation with SSL

Hi,
We are trying to design a solution with 2x CSSs 11501 and 2x AVS3120. The requirement is all the way SSL and cookie stickiness. Also, CSS will have to do URL rewriting from http to https.Is there a samle configuration for this kind of configuration? Will the CSS have to terminate SSL from client to AVS and then re-encrypt, terminate SSL from AVS to server and vice versa?

I haven't tried this, so I can not guarantee it would work, but have you considered using the 'response forward' pattern and chaining routing services?
e.g.
Routing service A invokes service 1
Routing service A invokes routing service B with the response from service 1
Routing service B uses it's routing rules to decide if service 2 should be invoked.
A sample response forward project can be found in the ESB samples zip file on http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/integration/esb/index.html.
I believe this would work for you under the following conditions:
(1) One way method invocation (you are not expecting a response from routing service A)
(2) Routing rule for routing service B can be based on data in request to and response from invocation of service 1 and is not dependent on data that only exists in original request to routing service A.
I hope this helps, so please post to this thread if it does or not.

Why is a table td not suitable as a containing block for absolute positioning of an element when other browsers allow that CSS feature?

Absolute positioning requires a containing element. I'm taking a class on HTML5 and CSS3 from ed2go.com. A photo display using thumbnails in a table shows the full size picture with its corner in the center of the thumbnail when you hover over the thumbnail.

The "small" class makes the picture a thumbnail. The "left" class positions the full size picture with its corner in the center of the thumbnail when the mouse hovers over the thumbnail. This works correctly in Internet Explorer but not Firefox. The reason is that Firefox does not consider a td to be a containing element by using position:relative so the large picture corner is in the center of the viewport. Although td is not a block element it would seem that allowing absolute positioning with respect to a td would be a good default implementation.
The "problem" can be "fixed" by simply placing the two <img> inside a .

Missing Feature - (Implementation) Service Orchestration

Oracle basis its 'mediation' on the 'Routing Service', in which one can filter, transform, route messages from a service consumer (business service client) to a service provider (actual service implementation, off the ESB).
Note: Even if the Routing Service routes to two of more service providers, it always assumes that the input to these service providers is the input to the main Routing Service.
In a scenario where there are two or more service providers, how does one call the second service provider with/based on data from the response of the call to the first service provider?
Does anyone currently see a way of doing this? (And please don't suggest BPEL; BPEL as the name suggests orchestrates my business services (exposed on the ESB) and not my service providers))

IOS 6 do not disturb, repeated calls feature implemented badly

I tested the "do not disturb" feature. Apparently, it hangs up an incoming call almost immediately. This renders the "repeated calls" portion of the "do not disturb" feature almost useless. This is because a caller is most likely to call a second time almost immediately if the first call gets terminated so quickly. Apple should allow the caller to continue to hear the ringing tone while keeping the callee's iPhone silent.

[Common 17-345] A valid license was not found for feature 'Implementation' and/or device 'xc7z045'.

Theimplementation feature and the whole flow was working smoothly until recently wehtn the error popped up. When I checked the license status it is still valid. I tried returning the license (with the hope to generate a fresh one), this is not going through as I see "Invalid option specified" message. I realized that the trusted storage itself was having problems. The issue that I was facing was very much similar to what is explained in the below discussion:

I followed the steps as in above and could see trusted storage itself that was having problems. And followed the steps in the above discussion and could successfully run installanchorservice.exe
This should have solved the issue if the trust was broken due to anchoring. This however, did not solve my issue. On further reading, I came across the below AR:

Based on this I could see that there are 3 reasons for Trust getting broken.
Binding (tampering the system parameters)
Anchoring
Windback
My issue is with Binding. The NIC card got disabled for some issue and I had to run diagnostics and fix it. I strongly suspect that due to this trust is broken due to Binding.
Attached the logs.txt from the the following commands:
xlicclientmgr -v "format=long"
xlicclientmgr -l
I could not find any material on the web to restore the trust of it is broken due to binding issue. Any pointers will be really appreciated.

Yes that repaired the broken license. Than you very much for this.
For the benifit of others:
It was confirmed that in my case the trust was broken due to Binding. For this, you need to provide the files that you find in the discussion above and Xilinx support will provide a xml file with instructions, that you need to follow to repair the license.

Re-Lock bit-locker feature is yet not implemented

Bit-locker is a really good feature implemented by Microsoft but unfortunately they left a small drawback on it by not Adding a re-lock option to lock the drive.. its been a long time i have been looking for this update but unfortunately it hasn't yet
came so when will this drawback will be reconsidered and taken some necessary actions, also restarting your computer all the time to lock the driver is kinda a frustration for the user's and what if someone wants to use your laptop or computer then what do
we have to restart the computer and give them to use it. come on that's not practical so please take some serious consideration about this small little area and bring up a new update for it.

There seems to be no option available to relock the drive with BitLocker UI option, further, we could take use of the command line to lock the drive:
manage-bde -lock D:
