when i took my memory card out of my 5800 and put it in my navigator and try playing mush from my library it asks of to acquire licence how do i do this

The Licence is attached to the Phone IMEI... so the problem.. You have to contact the developer to get the help..

Unable to acquire licence

Formerly, after nokia ovi music was upgraded, i was not able to login. When i called the nokia hotline, i was told to add 'OVI' to my username.
Since then i have not been able to acquire licenses for my music that i had already downloaded previously. It says:
The licence for this music cannot be found.Follow these steps:
1. Delete this file. If it is part of an album, delete the whole album.
2. Sign into Ovi on PC.
3. Go to your download history and re-download the music you deleted in step 1.
The parameter is incorrect.

After i follow the steps, an error pops up saying that i was the person who had previously downloaded the track/album.
How can that be when i'm downloading from my own download history.
I have already emailed nokia ovi support abt this a couple of weeks back but i didnt get any replies.
And now all of a sudden, my download history is empty.

The fact that Nokia have so far failed to respond to this thread is a bit disappointing. My system became unstable and ultimately Ovi Music became corrupt. I've just completely reinstalled my operating system and Ovi Music. My download history is available but all music previously downloaded is without a license.
Surely Nokia/Ovi could incorporate this into the Ovi Player Menu somewhere i.e. the ability to right click on an album and acquire the license again? There has to be an easy way to do it...

Can not acquire licence N95 8G

So I recently bought a N95 8G that has 12 free months access to the music store, most works well, but I have downloaded a 3-4 albums that when I try to transfer from my pc to phone, it comes up with [b]This track could not be transfered as it was not possible to acquire a licence for this purpose[/b]
Can anyone tell me why it can not acquire a licence for a song I already have?

The licence should have been downloaded BEFORE the track, perhaps something went wrong in that process - does the track play OK in the PC?
If this is not the case, and if you have a good data plan or WLAN access, you can download the track straight to the phone - go to the Music menu and select Music store, log into your account using your normal name and password, then go to the Music Vault which shows you the stuff you've already taken and redownload it directly to the phone.

5800 xm playing music

Help please, I purchased the phone about 1 month ago. I have been trying to transfer music from my PC. Windows Media. The music is mainly tracks I have taken from my cd's. I have several playlists which I used very successfully on my previous phone (Sony Ericsson K800i). Everytime I transfer the tracks and try to play them I get the message "Unable to acquire licence. Unknown content provider".
I have also tried through itunes, Ovi Suite and Ovi Player, all with the same result. The only success I have had was a track I had downloaded on itune, I am able to play this and also use it as my ring tone. I would be grateful for any help please.

I checked in Windows Media and in Properties it stated the following. This file can be played an unlimited number of times. Collaborative play for this file is allowed. This file can be burned an unlimited number of times. This file can be synchronized an unlimited number of times. The media usage rights for this file can be backed up.
Are you serious when you say I may have to re-rip all my CD's,? I have over 4000 tracks and have never had a problem before with other phones. Surely this must be a problem with the Nokia software.

Acrobat 9 installation doesn't accept licence key

We've recently moved and in the process acquired new PCs. I'm attempting to re-install Acrobat 9 Pro and several other tools using the AcroPro90_efg installer (which is the only one that appears to be available on the Internet). All of our Adobe tools have licence keys of the form 1234-1234-1234-1234-1234-1234.
When I attempt to install Acrobat 9 Pro, it prompts for the licence key with a single text box (unlike other tools such as CS4, which provide 6 smaller text boxes, each of which accepts 4 digits). I've tried entering the licence key both with and without the hyphens, but Acrobat will not accept it, responding that it's an invalid key.
Note that I've done this on machines where CS4 was installed and also on machines where nothing had yet been installed and I get the same error each time: "Invalid Serial Number. This is not a valid serial number. Please go back and re-enter your serial number."

I'm not sure what you mean by the wrong setup. Are you referring to the installer file? It is definitely for Acrobat 9 Pro (the name, AcroPro90_efg, refers to the 9.0 version of Pro for English, French and German). As far as I know we don't have any of the original media.

What type of licence to buy for a strictly Remote Desktop environment only?

I have a question about Server 2012 licensing for a specific operating environment. We have a single server in our company hosting our accounting and inventory software. Our software vendor allows us to use Remote Desktop Connection to connect to the server
and use the software without needing to install individual copies in each user's machine.
I also understand that Windows Server 2012 comes without pre-packaged CALs like how it used to be with Server 2003/2008 (where it came with a server licence and 5 CALs automatically).
What's the appropriate licence needed for a usage environment like this? I am pretty sure we have to purchase RDS licenses (previously Terminal Services License) for each machine, but must each license be accompanied with a regular Client Access License? Our
accounting software is unlike some other setups where the data is hosted on the server but all operating power is focussed on the client PC. In our scenario, all work is done exclusively on the server.

Can Photoshop Elements Use Floating Licence?

We would like to know the following:
1. Can we acquire Photoshop Elements (PSE) 11 instead of PSE12?
2. Can we install instead of 1 licence per PC is to set up network as floating licence? For example if we acquire 6 licences, instead of installing only to six PC, the license can be floating so more PC can access the software, but only 6 can work at given time. This is to maximize license use.
3. Where can I talk for live support?

You really need to be speaking directly to Adobe about this (this is a user to user forum) but generally
You can still get PSE11 from third party vendors but not Adobe.
To PSE11 I believe the licence only allows installation on two computers at any one time, and only one of which can be used at any one time.
PSE12 uses a new 'sign-in' authorisation method. You can actually install the software on as many PC's as you have, but only two can ever be signed in at any one time and therefore usable. Note though that even with two signed in the licence only allows for one to be in use at any one time.
I doubt your network suggestion will work. Elements is really designed to be run on a standalone PC by a user with administrative rights.

Does CC take over my perpetual CS6 licence?

I have a perpetual licence of Creative Suite 6 and am running many of its applications - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and so on. It is working perfectly for the print-based work I do. However, I may take on a job that requires me to subscribe to InDesign CC 2014 for a month or two. Just the one-app subscription, not the full CC. When the job is finished, I will stop subscribing.
I believe I have seen discussion that CC takes over your perpetual licence (search didn't find it). One comment was that their perpetual licence "disappeared" from their Adobe registered products. Apparently, when you drop the month-to-month subscription, it kills CS6 because it has become related to the subscription, and the only solution is to do a full uninstall, use the cleaner tool, and reinstall the perpetual suite.
Can anyone confirm that this is true?
On a related note, if I buy a single app InDesign subscription, will my other CS6 apps (Photoshop, etc) stop working during the job because I haven't subscribed to the full suite?

If you buy a single app CC, you will be able to work on the CC version as well as the CS6 version.
If you own a license for CS6 you own it for life. Machine capabilities might advance beyond being able to use it, but you always have it.
If you have a full CC subscription it includes the option to install CS6 software but that software is part of the CC subscription, so if the subscription ends so does the use of the CC-acquired versions. Your licensed software still remains useable if you end the subscription.
As far running both CC and CS together, it should be possible, though in my case CC decided to assume control of my suite programs to an extent where it changed how they are set up. So I can't answer regarding how things get along when you mix them in the same system.

Under the legacy BEA license, the developer license was limited to 1 hour of runtime (after which a JVM restart was needed) and the Latency Analysis feature was not included.
This distinction no longer exists since Oracle has a different licensing policy:
1) License files are not used. Evaluation versions of products are always fully featured. It is your responsibility as a user to ensure that you acquire the appropriate commercial license before you use it in a production setting.
2) All products are free for development and evaluation.
So I recommend that you download the latest JRockit Mission Control version from Oracle's web site:

Which is fully featured and free for development & evaluation.

1. So I presume that you do not have the Vision Development Module, or wish to deploy without a Vision Run-Time Licence. These both include IMAQdx as well as the vision software.

3. I have just done this myself with the Micro-Epsilon ScanControl laser line scanner. This uses a GigE interface; and there was suggestion in the Micro-Epsilon documentation that I could use IMAQdx and the NI vision tools. In fact it seemed easier to use the Micro-Epsilon DLL, so for this application I am not using NI-Vision or IMAQdx. I should note that while the Vision Run-Time licence is a pain, it is MUCH cheaper than anyone else's.
I think the same, I finished the project with a commercial NI license, but in this moment I study the possibility of develop it with a non commercial license for the cause described in point 1 (economic)

Nokia Music - Licence Problem

I recently reset my phone to factory settings and my downloaded music refused to play. It did attempt to acquire a licence online but the attempt failed.
I cant download the music on a pc and transfer to my device (N95) as I dont have access to a pc at moment.
I tried deleting the files and redownloading from the Music Vault but encountered the same problems.
Any help would be appreciated.

Even i too have faced this problem before. This is because when you download music from Nokia store, the music files are DRM protected. So only that particular device (your nokia 5800) have the access to play that particular music file.
Only thing you can do is, Jus connect to GPRS or WiFi from your mobile and get licence from air.The other thing you can do is delete that music file and google it for the same music fil, download it and play it Lol

There is no serial number needed to activate the Creative Cloud, the Adobe ID will be used to activate the product.
As the product mentioned is Cloud for Enterprise, you have to verify first if your Adobe ID (email address) has been assigned to the user rights.

If you have already proceeded the the previous steps, please try the steps below then:
1. Clean Up cached user login information
Close the Creative Cloud application.
Navigate to the OOBE folder.
Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[user name]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
Mac OS: /Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
Delete the opm.db file.
Launch Creative Cloud.
2. Reset the Hosts file
Windows
Choose Start > Run, type %systemroot% \system32\drivers\etc, and then press Enter.
Right-click the hosts file and select Open. Select Notepad for the application to open the hosts file.
Back up the hosts file: Choose File > Save As, save the file as hosts.backup, and then click OK.

Save and close the file.
Mac OS
Log in as an administrator to edit the hosts file in Mac OS.

You may need to configure the connection settings in the deployment descriptor (i.e. DbAdapter.rar#META-INF/weblogic-ra.xml) and restart the server. This exception is considered not retriable, likely due to a modelling mistake.
It almost drive me crazy!!:-(
What's the purpose of 'weblogic-ra.xml' under the folder of 'C:\Oracle\Middleware\home_11gR1\Oracle_OSB1\lib\external\adapters\META-INF'?
