Activating Workflow Purchase Order Material Management:

Hi:
I am working in the Workflow for Purchaser Order.
Actually I have to notify when an Order have been created.
I am using the BUS2012 and also using as basis the Workflow WS20000075.
My problem is that I pre-configured Workflow in the transaction SWU3 and everything is OK.
And I activated the WF in the transaction SWDD in the start events:
Category:   Object Type:   Event of the object:
BO             BUS2012         RELEASESTEPCREATED
And every time that I am creating a new Purchaser Order the Workflow automatic deactivated, and I have to activate this again manually.
Is there any way to avoid the deactivating?
Or Are there any way obligate the Workflow always been active?

Thanks’ for your help. I have two possible solutions. Can you tell me what do you think about these?
I entered to the transaction SM21 and check the logs. I found the following:
The enqueue lock for the work item, which was set by the who has been invalidated by the execution of an application met Business Workflow. This problem only occurs when the function DEQUEUE_ALL is called within the application method. The who runtime system consequently has an inconsistent status. The symptoms can arise:Work items have the status COMPLETED although the completin received and processed. The workflow container has an undefined status Deadlocks occurs in the workflow database tables
So, We need to aplicate a note, and the basis is working on that.
While the basis is working on that I used the transaction SWEQADM, in basic data I change the information of the receiver error feedback to: Do not change linkage, and now is working, the WF is not deactivating with this.
Actually I hope that the note help me, and I can put instead of do not change linkage, the standard Deactivation of linkage.
What do you think about it?

    When you create an inspection lot manually, you cannot reference an original document (for example, a goods receipt document, an order, or a delivery note).
    In QA01 you can create inspection lot manually for all inspection lot origins except the following:
    10 - Delivery to customer with sales order
    11 - Delivery to customer without sales order
    12 - General delivery
    13 - Repetitive manufacturing
    14 - Plant maintenance

    i am creaed purchase order throw workflow. under that based on release stategy released and cancelld working fine. but our client requirement is  two defferent release codes is  customising one release code <=1000 is approved (current user), and another release code  is =>1000 is approved (another user). so please give me a valuable suggestions.

    Hi,
    Based on the release strategy for PO, you can set the agents in config. SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Release Procedure for Purchase Order - Define Release Procedures for PO's - Workflow.
    Here, based on the release group and release code, you can set the approval agents. This method can be used if your approval agents are fixed and known. If it has to be calculated at runtime, then you have to use other methods and rules.
    Ensure that you have made an entry of 1 in the Workflow column for the appropriate release group and release code under SPRO - Materials Management - Purchasing - Purchase Order - Release Procedure for Purchase Order - Define Release Procedures for PO's - Release code.
    In you step in the workflow, leave the agents as blank when you adopt this method.

  • Different vendor in purchase order-material document

    Hi, gurus!
    We're facing this problem. Seems really weird.
    We have a purchase order with a vendor (and same vendor number in the "partners" tab in ME21N), but in the subsequent material document generated through MB01 we have a different vendor and receiving vendor in "partner tab".
    There's no user exit involved.
    Does it make any sense?
    What else could be the reason of this difference?

    how do you look at your material document? in MIGO, in MB03 or in PO history tab?
    Which movement type does your material document have?
    Was the order creation and receipt done in the same SAP system, or was the order and the history migrated from an old system?
    Are you working in a special industry solution like Retail or IS-OIL etc. ?
    OSS Note 193250 clearly says : The inventory management does not work in the standard system with vendor or customer partner functions. and that you have to use USER_EXIT_KOMPBME_PARTNER  if you want use them.
    But you already denied that you are using exits.
    Had you received many items in reference to different POs in one shot?

  • Copy attached documents from network activity to purchase order

    Has anyone ever tried copying attachments (e.g. MS Word documents) from an external activity in the project to the purchase requisition and purchase orders that are created from it?
    Our client would like to attach detailed specs for the purchasing in the Project Builder. The specs will then be used by Purchasing when they request offers from vendors, and finally attach it to the PO when it is created.
    Any ideas how this can be solved? Any best practices or recommendations?
    We're working on 4.6C and don't use EBP.

    Hi Pim,
    If the same document should be used for more than 1 object, it is better to my opnion to use a link and not an attachement (in that way you are sure to have the same information, it is a golden rule never to have the same info twice). You have to think about where to put your documents. You could use for instance a file server. Other solutions supported by SAP are possible.
    You could make use of an ABAP development to create the same link to the purchase requisition as to the activity (based on a user exit or use a workflow to trigger the creation of the link).

    Tasks, rules, and workflow definitions require an ID that is unique throughout all systems and clients. In this way, you can ensure that you can transport these objects from one system into another at any time (without restrictions). From a technical point of view, the uniqueness of the ID is ensured by what is known as a "prefix number". You can define a separate prefix number for every system and every client in table T78NR.
    System Response
    If a prefix number is not defined in the client in which you are currently working, it is not possible to maintain (maintenance terminates).
    Procedure
    Maintain table T78NR in Customizing, and create an entry for the system in question and the current client.

  • Workflow Purchase order release

    Hi,
    I want to activate workflow for purchase order released.
    Requirement is when first level releasaed the purchae order, it should mail to second level.
    I have done following settings in the system.
    In the SPRO - Release Procedure PO - Workflow, I have assigend Object type - US, User against release code.
    Done settings in t code SWDD - Workflow builder.
    Now when first level is releasing the PO, system is not triggering the event.
    I do not know weather i have done it correctly or not, But as per my above requirement, what settings should I do in the system in release strategy config and workflow settings.

    I had created workflow for Purchase order release strategy with steps(To Determine Agents, Release of Purchase order, Release of PO effected) and in Me21N I created PO and PO came to my SAP inbox(SBWP) and I released that PO and saved it.
    but My problem is after releasing PO when I checked my Inbox again still that PO is sitting there, it is supposed to disappear from there
    Can anyone please assist me to resolve this issue .

    I am new to SAP so please pardon the question in advance if this is a basic one.
    I need a little help with purchase order and sales order dates.  Our supplier runs SAP and our two systems are tied together. Currently my supplier is not updating their promise date because this is how we are tracking late shipments. However, this means ETA/ETD dates are incorrect.  Is there a way for us to keep track of late shipments and still maintain accurate ETD/ETA dates? Thanks in advance for any help you can provide!

    Apologies guys I should have provided more information in my initial post.
    Our parent company is also our supplier.  We cut a purchase order, notify them of the purchase order and in turn they cut a sales order.  My supplier (parent company) is stating if they update the "first date" column in their sales order (which would in turn populate a correct ETA date) we will lose the ability to track late shipments.
    To answer your question Edgar I am referring to the sales document. It is my understanding my supplier is only modifying the "First Date".  Are there several date field in a sales document we can use to 1. track original promise date 2. maintain accurate ETA?
    From a "customer" standpoint I need to be able to view both dates so that I know when I can expect to actually receive product and if that product is/was late.

    Hi All,
    Can anyone help with the following......
    Everytime we re-print a Purchase order the amendment automatically increases.
    For audit purposes we have to identify every change to a PO but we do not want to have to document hundred of re-print every year.
    Is there a way of controlling what justify's a changes or what triggers the amendment number to increase?
    We basically want the amendment number to increase if the Po has been changed but not if we are simply reprint the document.

  • Purchase Order: Material not listed in plant

    Hi all,
    While i am creating PO in 4.7 version it throws the following error :
    Material 100-100 is not listed in plant 1000(error 1) for the specified delivery
    date (or procurement period). One of the following errors occurred
    during the listing check:
    error 01: The material is generally not listed for the plant.
    I have cheked the period and it has been set for the current month, any suggestions are welcomed from the experts. My problem only does in a specific plant, the same material with other plant runs OK. If I do a returns order the problem doesn't appear.

    Check if material is created for the following views, purchasing and Plant/storage data, accounting 1.
    If not then you have to extend the views for this material through MM50 or MM01.
    And after doing so try to run the process
