Activity pricing (KSPI)

Hi,
I am facing some problem in  price calculation (T-code KSPI). As per my understanding price calculated in KSPI is the division of Plan fixed cost entered in KP06 by Plan activity entered in KP26.
(i.e KP06 value /KP26 Value.)
In our case, the value entered in KP06 ( Plan fixed cost )----
Rs 720000
Plan activity entered in KP26 is ......................................................72000
The value showing in KSPI is .......................................................RS. 110
Actual value as per my understanding should be ..........................Rs 10. (720,000 / 72000).
Please explain the Calculation process.
Thanks and Regds
Sridhara K N

You understanding is Ok.
Also check whether the KP06 values is same as the value in report S_ALR_87013611. And also the plan Qty in KP26 is correct.
Activity Price calculation =  value in report S_ALR_87013611 / plan Qty in KP26.
Mind it, this KSPI calculation is iterative one. Hence if you had already run the KSPI earlier, it will have its effect.

  • Collective Order Actual Activity Pricing

    Hi Gurus
We are using collective orders for production orders. As you know collective processes are used for costing shared processes.
Let me explain the problem with an example: Say, we have product A and B to be produced. These two have shared operations and costs will be collected via collective orders by Tcode mill_oc.
    The process is as below:
    Production order 1 for product A. - Normal production order - CO01
    Production order 2 for product B. - Normal production order - CO01
    Production order 3 for product A - Collective production order - mill_oc
Confirmations are done for Order 3 during period. At the end of the period Order 3 is settled to Order 1 and Order 2 with certain proportions.
Actual activity price is calculated via Tcode:KSII. During CKMLCP the system valuates activities (posting price differences) for Order 3 product, Product A only. It must be the case that Product A and Product B have to be revaluated.
NOTE: Actual activity price is valuated in material ledger, rather in orders (not with CON2)
Is there any OSS notes or solution for this problem? If there is huge activity price differences, all the value is posted to just one product, which is collective orders product, rather than both lower level orders' products.
Thanks in advance for your replies.
    Ahmet

    Hi Ahmet,
This is rather a problem of material ledger multi-level settlement than of activity pricing. Material ledger will pick up the actual activity price correctly and will use the difference against the former activvity price as multi-level price difference on the production process. The problem is, if there are multiple outputs coming out of the process, as is resulting of the order combination process, material ledger will by default search for a apportionment structure (for joint production) in the material master of the main (or original) output material. As nothing will be maintained there, all the differences will go to this material.
You can overcome the situation by a BADI implementation of BADI cost_split. There should be an example implementation in your system (if you have the Mill Products add-on active, as is indicated because you use Mill_oc) that enables to distribute the price differences by quantity of the outputs of a process. If you don't find the example implementation I could provide it to you.

  • Actual activity pricing - KSII

why do the actual activity pricing is required using Tcode KSII ?

it totally depends on business requirement,
Normally you valuate/absorb overhead on product with plan activity rate and using same rate inventory is valuated.Though for same activity may incurr more actual cost which is not getting reflected in planned rate.
This kind of requirements are handled through actual pricing. In this case using SAP splitting calculate actual rate and revaluate inventories. This will adjust you p/l with this amount.

  • Activating Pricing for Sales Order in Retail

    Hi All/Vijay/KK,
Please tell me how activate the pricing for sales order, actually in SD we do Pricing Determination, what has to be done for Retail pricing

    Hi,
    To do sales order pricing
    Goto IMG>Sales & Distribution>Basic Functions>Pricing>Pricing Control
Either Follow Standard, condition type PR00
    or in case of Custom
    1. Use condition table 406 Site/article
    2. Define Access Sequences ZPR0
    Enter accesses:10 406 Site/article Exclusive x
    3. Define Condition Types (ZPR0 assign newly defined access sequence)
    4. Define And Assign Pricing Procedures (assign condition types ZPR0..etc. to it)
Then maintain condition record , go to VK11 --> Enter your Z condition type (eg. ZPR0)., enter the amounts.
Add the pricing procedure , to sales document type.
    For Retail Sales Pricing
For Retail Sales Pricing based on Purchase pricing you can follow the following method:
The retail price is always based on the purchase net/net price. This purchase net price is built up from the purchasing pricing elements or condition types defined to be included in the purchase net price. A planned mark-up is applied to the purchase net/net to calculate the proposed retail price. The planned mark-up can be set by merchandise category and for exceptions, more specifically by article.
You can perform Two-step calculation for retail pricing, for example, for stores that are supplied by a distribution center (internal vendor). Calculating sales prices for the stores is based on the transfer price for distribution centers (preceding organizational unit).
    1. Set up Master Data (WB02) - Relevant Fields should be maintained
    2. Set up Article Master Data - Logistics DC and Store View (MM42)
    Relevant Fields should be maintained
    3. Maintain Mark up for DC(VK11) -Markup % at Distribution channel distribution chain level
Mark ups maintained at two levels:
For DC: At distribution chain level
    Condition type used: AUFS
    For Stores: At article level
    New condition type ZUFS created.
    4. Maintain Mark up for Stores (VK11) Markup % at Store distribution chain level
5 Create Pricing Procedures (IMG) -Pricing Procedures created
    6. Carry out Price calculation for DC(VKP5) - Pricing Document created - DC Transfer price calculated
    7. Carry out Price calculation for Stores (VKP5) - Pricing Document created - Final Retail Price Calculated
The final retail price that is calculated is stored in the condition type VKP0.
    Hope it helps,

  • Activity Pricing using DIP

    Hi All,
Can someone give solution for the below mentioned scenario
Contract contains fixed billing rates for each activity performed,
    I have three activities example
    Activity I
    Activity II
    Activity III
The client wants all three activities to be linked to one service material but the rates should be calculated based on the contract rates for each activity and then summed up.
As for all the activities i have only one material how can i calculate the rates from condition records.
Iam able to link all the three activities to single material by material determination and using activity type as characteristic in DIP.
But iam not able to get the price as iam having single material and loosing the activity types in the process. If iam using different material for each activity type then iam able to get the rates from condition records based on materials.
anybody has solution for this as this is the scenario of construction project.
    Thanks
    Ishaq

    Ishaq,
I see that RKE_WWCH4 (Network activity) is available for selection from KOMP. Is this the field you are looking for? Assuming it is, you could then add it as field for selection and take a shot at creating a condition table. Please advise if this is what you are looking for? If not, give further details and revert back.
    Thanks,

  • Customer order actual activity report

    Dear experts,
I am using make to order strategy and I have a multilevel BOM structure. I am following some semi-finished products individually for customer order and some for make to stock. I need a report to see the actual activity confirmations for a single customer order including all the activities of semi-finished products in BOM. For your help please.

  • Activity Type in SAP PM

    Dear Masters,
We have a field in order screen "PMActivType" can anybody explain me what is it used for and what is it necessary to define PMactivity types in configuration?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Activity types are used to calculate the Internal Labor cost based on the Planned hours & Actual hours. In the Maintenance Order, Planned labor hours for Internal Operation will be maintained in Operation tab.
Activity Pricing will be done by FICO people in KP26, for the activity types against cost center. For example, there are electricians, mechanics & technicians.
For those people, based on their salary (in case of permanant employee of the company) or hour basis (in case of contract employee), these pricing will be done.
For Electricians, Per hour charge would be 10 INR.
For Mechanics, per hour charge would be 8 INR.
Work centers would have been created for these people. In the costing tab of work center, activity types & cost centers will be assigned. For these activity types & cost center combination, pricing will be done in KP26.
In Maintenance Order, based on operation type, work centers will be assigned.
    For Example
In the order, first operation will be done by Mechanics. Second operation will be done by Electricians, again 3rd operation will be done by Maechanics.
Based on that work center selection in operations, activity types will be assigned. For the activity type & cost center in work center, we have defined the price in KP 26 already.
For first operation, work hour is 3 hrs. So planned cost would be 24 INR (3 hrs * 8 INR / hr)
For second operation, work hour is 5, so planned  cost would be 50 INR.
For 3rd operation, same calculation based on the hours in operation & cost.
Once you do confirmation, actual cost will be calculated in the same way.
I hope this will be clear.
    Regards,
    Maheswaran.

  • KP26 activity type / price planning

    Hi ,
After giving cost center , activity type , fiscal year and period ,
    1) How system automatically proposes plan activity , capacity , Priced fixed  etc values ? From where it gets data ?
2)How values entered in plan activity , capacity , fixed price , variable price , price unit , plan price indicator etc affect /calculate activity cost ?
I know SAP help is available , If some one can explain with examples it would be great help .
Let us say I have work center WKCN and I have maintained capacity , scheduling and costing tab . I have maintained plan activity as 102 , capacity as 108 , price fixed as 80 , price unit as 00001 ....Please explain how the next chain of events happen .
    NP

In KP26, activity pricing will done for the combination of labor cost center & activity type assigned in work center. Here activity price will be maintained on hour basis or day basis.
In task list or order, work hours will be given for the internal activity. Here for the internal operations, work center & activity type will be defined.
If work hours is 15 hrs & fixed price is 80 INR (as per your example), the total activity cost will be 1200 INR for order (15 x 80).
    Price Unit
The price unit is 10 for activity type "Drilling" with unit "Hours".
The price applies to 10 hours of drilling.
The price unit is 1 for activity type "Drilling" with unit "Hours".
The price applies to 1 hours of drilling.
    Plan Price Indicator
    001:
The price of the activity type is determined automatically based on the planned activity and the planned costs required for this plan activity quantity.
    002:
The variable portion of the price is calculated based on the plan activity quantity. To determine the fixed portion, the system uses the capacity and not the plan activity quantity.

  • Store charges activation....

Local BestBuy store charging activation but when I click the Bestbuy add online there is no activation.
The local Bestbuy sales help tell me they cannot match Bestbuy online activation pricing.
I do not understand, the BestBuy add I click online is the same in store add?
BTW calling online order help is horrid due to the language barrier.
Questions like temp numbers and 30 day satisfaction guarantee seem to be unheard of.
    Solved!

    BoBinDE -
    Welcome to the Forums!
I'm sorry to hear about the confusion regarding activation fees, but let me try to help out.
Best Buy, in general, actually does not charge activation fees at all. The carrier themselves (be it AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon or Sprint) do charge activation fees ($35 or $36 depending on the carrier), but they would appear on your first bill from the carrier. The store agents do not have the authority to go in and alter the account to waive these fees
Now, if you opt to ordering the phone online or over the phone with a contract, bear in mind that the orders go through a partner company called Simplexity. They have completely different systems than the stores do. When it comes to the activation fee being waived, the carriers have contracts with Simplexity recognizing that these fees should be waived within certain promotional periods.
Hopefully this helps clarify the issue!

  • Cost of QC sample on Process Order

When we are posting GR of our Finished or semi finished goods an inspection lot will be created. when we take the Usage Decision on this lot and took samples from the total and post the remaining quantity in unrestricted. the cost will be charged on Process order, which is wrong. we want that the cost should be charged on a QC cost center. when we take Usage Decision on raw and packing material the it always ask for the cost center and the cost is charged on that cost center. in case of finished and semi finished it is not asking. and if we forced it to a cost center it always charged it to a process order.
    1. explain me that charging of qc cost or sample cost on process order is standard?
    2. what could be the solution of this problem?
    3. what could be the work around of this?

    Hi Syed ,
In that case what I can think of is introduce a new operation as quality inspection in routing & then implemenent activity as activity cost for the same . Now confirm the operation & there you can capture the time spend in quality & translate that in amount through the activity pricing ......
But in this also it will have effect in the order cost but you can differrentaiate the amount spend in mfg & amount in quality seperately...........
    Thanks
