Activity Quantity Planning Layout

Hi,
I have created a new activity quantity planning layout which shows the activity quantity per month.  I loaded the 12 months data without error but when I checked KP26, it is showing the activity quantities up to 4th month only.  Can someone advise and help to enable me to load the full 12-month periods?
Best regards,
Thess

Thanks, Bjoern;  Sorry for the late reply.
The activity qty layout is:
cost center activity type   apr   may   jun   jul   aug   sep   oct   nov    dec   jan   feb   mar
Is this possible in excel upload?  As much as possible I don't want to do this in LSMW.
Thanks to advise.
Best regards,
Thess

    Dear Experts,
I am new to SAP CO and would like to transport new planning layouts and planning profiles. Therefore I clicked on transport and the following customizing task is added to my transport request:

    -> ke34
    ->
    CEFORMC
    CEFORMF
    CEFORMS
    CEFORMT
    CEFORMV
    CEFORMW
    CEPRINT

    TKEP1
    TKEP2
    TKES1
    TKES2
    TKES4
    TKES5
    TKESK
    The transport worked without error.
Unfortunately none of the layouts arrives in test environment.
Do you have any idea of what I could have forgotten?
    Thanks a lot!!

After you have released the transport request, the objects of the request are available in the target system and the target clients. If you want to carry out a client copy within the same system, proceed as follows:
           1.      Log onto the system in the desired target client.
           2.      Start the client copy (Tools > Administration > Administration > Client Administration > Special Functions > Copy Transport Request; transaction SCC1) and enter the source client and the number of the transport request.
           3.      Then start importing the objects.

  • Planning Layout for Activity Rate

    Hi
My Client is a German Company. Controlling Area currency is EURO, It has operations in India also.
For India, required to create BDC for Activity rate planning.
    1. Is it necessary to create separate Planning Layout for INR currency?..I did not find any currency in standard layout.
    2. Please explain how it works. whether it takes Cost Center currency or Controlling Area currency?

    Hi,
The standard setting for the leading currency plans the transaction currency for costs and the controlling area currency for prices. This is the Standard design. Please review 100379 & 183556 for further information on this.
Please pay attention to the following section of note 100379:
'Note: you can only change these settings in the following  Transactions: KP97 (as of Release 3.1I) and KP98 (as of Release
4.6), as well as CP97 and CP98 (as of Release 4.6C). However, you  should only carry this out after you have taken Note 183556 into  account.'

  • User-Defined Planning Layouts  - Translations

    Hi Experts,
Custom Planning layouts have been created.
I need to translate the form from English to Danish.
This has to be done in the Development system then moved to Quality and Production.
This is how I proceeded with the task:
IMG Path: Project System  Costs  Planned Costs  Manual Cost Planning in WBS  Detailed Planning  Create User-Defined Planning Layouts for Detailed Planning.
Select Change PS Planning Cost Element/Activity Input Layouts.
Select Layout ZMY_LAYOUT  Planning Layout  Translate Form.
Specify Source Lanaguage : EN, Target Language: DA --> Clcik on Translate Button.
There is a prompt for including the request in a Transport Request. If clicked yes it asks for a workbench Request.
I specified the workbench request number.
    Select Form --> Object List
Select the line with form name, Source Text --> Click on Translate.
Enter the translation -> Save and exit
However, when I check my request in SE10, it has no objects???
If I repeat the process, and select Transport form, it asks me for a customizing Request.
How can I move  my transations from D to Q.

    Reema Shahbazkar.

    Hi,

  • Planning Layout for Activities

    Good morning gurus,
my need today is the following:
I have a dummy activity type with a price manually planned on a dummy cost center
I have quantities to plan on wbs elements
I have a planne margin valid for one year
I want to insert in the planning layout this margin (as statistical key figure or i don't know...)
    Eg:
    - Activity tipe PreConfig01 with planned price 10.000,00u20AC on Cost center Offset_Plan
    - Planned quantities are 10 on WbeXX and 20 on WbeYY
    - My yearly planned margin for 2011 is 20%
    - When i use Tcode CJR2 with layout 1-702 i would obtain 120.000,00u20AC and 240.000,00u20AC as result of my planning, instead of 100.000,00u20AC and 200.000,00u20AC that i get now.
Does anybody know how can i customize the layout using skf or formulas?
I don't want to hardcode the margin as a formula in the layout; i want to maintain it as master data in order to easily update it every year.
    Thanks in advance,
    Enrico

Does anydody know something to in matter?

  • Planning Layout- Assigning Curr and Unit

    Hi All
We created a layout for statistical items everything is fine we selected amount and quantity as key figures.
Please let me know the possibilities of actions we are looking. I dont know whether we can do it or not just for confirmation from this forum.
    1)
Basically Planning Layout is coming like this:
    Short term loans - 3000 -  INR  - 0.000  -
    Creditors Days   -   0.00 - INR  - 30.000  -  DAY
Is there any chance to assign unit or currency to items in a column like i mentioned below.
    Short term loans - 3000    - INR
    Creditors Days   -  30.000 - DAY
    2)
Is there any possibility that: If we enter the data in Amount field,  the quantity field must become disable automatically, in the same manner if we enter the data in Quantity field the amount field must become disable.
Not in a columnwise, by rows wise.
Please clarify my doubts. I appreciate your valuable response.
    Regards,

    Hi,
    1) For currency include the Currency characteristic in the layout and appropriate Planning objects should get it. For Day could create a custom characteristic with the master data value restricted to "Day" in the Planning level.
    2) From what I understand your objective here is to ensure that the amount and quantity are in sync and change in one should not show incorrect figures in the other. Would suggest making the Amount as a Calculated Key figure in the enhanced layout(transaction upx_mntn) so that change in one causes the other to be changed appropriately.
    hope it helps

  • Planning Layout for Statistical Key

    Hello. Good Morning.
Does anybody know how to enter the field Transaction Currency as a variable in a planning layout for Statistical Key?
    Please kindly answer me.
    Thank you very much.
    Best Regards,

I try again as you said, it's ok. But I don't know why I can't do like before. Could you help me find the reason. Below lists all the data needed.
    Gen. data selection:
    Field Name          | Values
    Fiscal Year            Variable entry
    Period                   Variable entry From To
    Company Code      Variable entry
    Version                  Variable entry
    Statistical Key Fig. Variable entry
    data entry columns:
    Profit Center | Description | Quantity | Unit |

  • Planning Layout error K9162 - max number of columns in planning layout rest

    Hello collegues,
our client would like to have 34 columns in planning layout costs activity inputs of TA KP67. But error message K9162 - max. number of columns is restricted to 30. So I tried to switch of the message with TA OBA5 application area K9 - msg number 162. But this does not work as the error comes up again even though the message is switched off.
    Do you have some ideas?
    Thanks and regards,
    Christian

    Hello,
thanks for your response. I have maintaine in OBMSG:
    K9     162     WE     E    switch off selected
then in OBA5 for dialog and batch I have maintained  -
but the error is upcoming again. So I think that this sort of message cannot be switched off as the planning layout is restricted to 30 columns by design maybe?
    thanks and regards,
    Christian

  • Planning Layout Transport - Comparison Column

    Hi planning experts,
I have planning layout which I transport in my qa-system. Everything is fine and working correct.
When I had a look in my corresponding layout in prod.-system I see that in the tab "data column" in column "Comparison columns" are activated. The activation is done via exit.
Question: what will happen with the layouts if I import them to prod. system. Is the column "Comparison columns" the same or will it overwritten with transport?

A coworker figured out by selecting the line break in the change subcomponent it wraps the column text.

  • Planning layout - not executeable anymore

    Hello,
I have changed a planning layout. In detail: I changed the heading of two columns. Not more. Then I transported the layouts. When I execute WebInterface I receive following error message:
"The environment has changed. Layout is not executeable any more."
I have no clue why. More than the headings are not changed.
As second question: in my productive System in the layout in Data Columns -> Comparison Column are activated. When I import my transport - how can I make sure that the comparion columns are also activated (which are fixed by funtion module).
    Any input is welcome.

    Hi,
    Stand corrected.
Have you looked at the below thread
Re: Trade promotional planning CRM and BPS

  • Pre-emption in planning layouts (WebInterfaces)

    Very honoured colleagues and colleagues,
during the use of a planning-layout within a WebInterface the following need of us was near-carried - perhaps someone has an idea from this round regarding realization:
A planning-layout (type 'characteristic numbers in data columns') is developed dynamically by the user and filled with (actual) data. I.e. if necessary lines are produced added ('push button f. new line =rue'). The user gives here for example to attach at 10 new lines. From the Workaround it proceeds numerous user in such a way that you fill the three characteristics in the key columns ascending (for example. only if the “date is registered” in each line, then the “manufacturer”, then the “product-line”) before afterwards the quantity / piece data in the data columns is equipped.
Evenly this user wish themselves a Design, in which during (inadvertent) operation of the enter key (or press ‘actualization’) the lines are deleted not immediately, in which the key columns filled however still no data in the data columns were deposited.
Us came into sense that we one of the data columns (here ‘number of vehicles’), which usually anyway with „1 “ one fills in the moment, in which new lines are attached with „1 “ to reserve.
Is someone admits whether and /or how can such a logic to be established? Or does someone have an alternative idea, how automatic eliminating of these lines can be excluded?
    Our system-data:
    Unsere SAP-Systemdaten:
    Netweaver 04
    SAP_BW, Release 350, Patchlevel 0018
    SEM-BW, Release 400, Patchlevel 0014
    Best regards

FI-BI / Business Intelligence, Jungheinrich AG

    Hi Cornelia,
I want to know, how to avoid, that new lines (which are added by the user) will NOT be deleted even there are only data in the key-columns and no data in the data-columns.
Within the standard-adjustments every (new) line will be deleted by press the enter-button or refresh-button if there are no data in the data-column.
So there is one idea we will default fill (preallocate) ONE data-column with "1", so it is not possible to kill the lines without delete explicit the former (default-)entry.
But I don't know how to establish such an automatic-function, with produce such default-entries only by press the button "new line"...
Maybe this idea isn't quite clever and somebody has a better idea...

  • Error in Planning layout since Excel 2007 Service Pack 2

    Hi,
since I updated Excel 2007 from Service Pack 1 to 2 I have a problem with the planning layouts in upspm.
When I open a planning folder with an input layout with excel inplace, a second instance of excel is opening without a sheet.
When I close this excel I can work with the layout.
This bug is definite since SP2 in Excel 2007.
Is there a solution for this?
    I'm using SAP GUI 7.10 Patch 5

    Hello Tobias,
in fact, with SP2 Microsoft has changed when security checks are performed. More details can be found here:
    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=2009802
There is also a SAP note 1425448 (that contains a link to the MSDN-Knowledge-Base). Technically in SAP Desktop Office Integration the SAPGUI is a container for Excel (inplace activation). You will get the same effect when you embed e.g. an Excel file with macros as an object in a word file. It is even worse in the latter case:
    - I get two VBA 'stop' pop ups with no information
    - Then I get the security warning pop-up (activate or deactivate the macros) -> activated
    - Then Excel opens, but deactivated, no document is disypled: Excel main window visible
    - Then one get a pop-up below the Excel window that claims that there is no Excel installed (?)
    - It is impossible to close Excel, the Excel process has to be deleted via task manager ...
I hope that this MSDN article is not the final word about this issue.

    Gregor

  • What is the activity quantity in KSII and how is it arrived

    Hi,
Could any body help me to understand what is the activity quantity in KSII. How will we arrive at the figure we get when we run KSII.
I know the that we would be giving theplanned cost in KP06, planned activity quantity in KP26 and then when we run the price calculation in KSPI we get the total price for the cost center and the activity type. This is what is the planned total price for a period.
I am unable to understand the differece between the planned and the standard cost. Please help me with an example.
Standard cost is planned cost * actual hours,  correct me if I am wrong.
    Please assist,
    Regards,
    Shilpa.

    Hi Shipla ,
    You have two questions :-
    1. How to get activity quantity in KSII
KSII is actual price calculation . Actual Price = Actual Cost/ Actual Qty..
Actual quantty is derived from quantity confirmed in production/process order and direct activity allocation done to the cost center . If you see a Cost Center Plan/Actual variance report.. you can see the actual quantity booked in a process Order . Actual Cost is the cost booked into the cost centers ..from FI/CO /IO settlement etc ..
During Actual costing , activity costs are generally booked at plan rate ( KP26). In KSII , actual price is computed and the difference is allocated to the cost centers.
    2. Standard cost is planned cost * actual hours
No , plan cost is the cost you have planned for the year . You can use the plan cost to create a cost estimate . This cost estimate can be used as standard cost or for any anaylsis purpose..
Always remeber that purpose of product cost planning is to compute product cost estimate . This estimate may be used as standard costs.
    Hope it clarifies..
    Regards
    Sarada
