ADD chek num to incoming payment form
Hi,
I added a user column to incoming payments matrix.
I tried to insert the cheknum in that column but i see any change.
i debgged my code and so that the adding operation is correct.
I tried to enter a value using the keyboard in that cell and i noticed that the value is written on the celle but when i click on any other button or edittext in the form the value disappears.
Does anybody has a hint?
Thanks.
Achref,
Are you binding your data to the column you added? If you search this forum on "databind" you should find many posts that should help.

Negative Document Entry in Incoming Payment Form
Hello All,
I have faced an unique problem in Incoming Payment Form in SAP while entering the document for the Period 2014 the document is getting saved but while checking it from the table the DocEntry field is getting added in Negative values like '-1','-2' and soon .Document No. is getting added in normal manner this peculiar thing is happening in this specific Period not for the other period.
Negative DocEntry will create any problem or not ?? How to resolve this problem.
Thanks ,
RajeevHi,
Please check SAP note:

Missing transactions in outgoing payments / incoming payments
Hello Experts,
My customer operated the year transfer process and created a new DB. From that point , he faces a problem with the outgoing payments and incoming payment forms.
In the new DB there are missing transactions in the forms mentioned above. We tried to analyze it and we got to the conclusion that the transactions who created by journal entry whose type is JE -30, has transfered to the new DB, but these transactions are not displayed in the outgoing payments and incoming payment forms.
This issue making a big problem with payments because you don't know if any transactions are missing.
Does anybody have an idea hoe to solve it ?Hi,
Since only few countries could use this year transfer process, I am afraid you had better log a message to SAP support. That may give your answer faster.
Thanks,

JournalEntries and Incomming payments
If I generate a JournalEntry by using DIAPI, this JournalEntry will be listed in the Incomming payments when I choose the corresponding BP Code.
However I know that if a JournalEntry is base on a AR Down payment invoice, it will not be shown in the Incomming payments form.
I have tried to create a JournalEntry base on another document, but these 2 fields
oJE.Original
oJE.BaseReference
are read only.
Is that possible to generate a JournalEntry base on another document by using DIAPI ?
or is that another way to make the JournalEntry not be shown in the Incomming payments form?
Edited by: jupitercd on Sep 16, 2009 1:23 PMHello,
You should rather create the base document only and not the journal entry. The journal entry will get created automatically. Or otherwise if you have created a journal entry directly, than it will show on payments, unless it is reconciled and closed.

Add Invoice with Payment Terms set 'Open Incoming Payment' = Cash - with DI
Hi,
I have this type of problem: I have defined a Payement Terms (Payment Terms - Setup) and I have set the field 'Open Incoming Payment' = Cash.
In this way, when I create an Invoice and I put this 'Payment Terms' in Accounting Label, when I Add the Invoice, Sap open the 'Payment Means' form, and I must set the Total Cash of the payment. I set this field, click Ok, and then I'm able to Add the Invoice (and his Payment).
If I try to do this operation with DI API, when I call .Add() method, I retrieve this error: "Invoice & receipt must be paid exactly [OINV.GroupNum]". There is a method or property in SAPbobsCOM.BoObjectTypes.oInvoices that I must set to do automatically this operation?
What can I do this???
Thank you
MarcoHi Niall,
yes, I have set the property vInvoice.PaymentGroupCode = 2 , infact i retrive the error.
If i try to set PaymentGroupCode = 1 or PaymentGroupCode = 3 (other 'normal' Payments Terms), my procedure work correctly, and the Invoice are added.
If I try to set PaymentGroupCode = 2, i retrieve the error.
This is my simple code:
vInvoice.Series = 26
vInvoice.CardCode = "C0001"
vInvoice.HandWritten = SAPbobsCOM.BoYesNoEnum.tNO
vInvoice.DocDate = "10/01/2009"
vInvoice.DocType = SAPbobsCOM.BoDocumentTypes.dDocument_Service
vInvoice.PaymentGroupCode = 2
vInvoice.Lines.AccountCode = "11005010"
vInvoice.Lines.Quantity = 1
vInvoice.Lines.Currency = "Eur"
vInvoice.Lines.Price = 110
ret = vInvoice.Add()
If ret <> 0 Then
myDB.GetLastError(errCode, errMsg)
myapp.SetStatusBarMessage(errMsg, SAPbouiCOM.BoMessageTime.bmt_Medium, True)
End If
Thank

Incoming Payment add in sequence via SDK
Hi guys,
I want to use the SDK to add an incoming payment based on an invoice. It will only be a partial payment however and I want to pay the invoice in the same way that the "Add In Sequence" button works. I do not want the invoice to close until it is paid in full.
Can anyone help?Hello
Pay in Sequnece is a business logic, you must code the same logic as B1 client uses.
Of cource it is possible. I am sure, until the invoice not fully payed, the sap b1 internal reconsiliation engige will not close the sales invoice, os it will stay opened automatically. (not payed totally, you will see the reaining amount when you open the invoice via B1 client).
logic should be coded:
1. get the payment anoumt and customer
2. get open of the customer and sort them by date (sequnece based on date).
here you mayuse a query based on jdt1 (balduedeb and balduecred are the fields holding the open amount of a transaction, ie unpayed amount of the incoive or a Journal entry)
select * from jdt1 where shortname = 'cardcode' and balduedeb-balduecred != 0
3. issue the payment object, until the payment amount is fit wiht the selected open items amount.

Customer Vendor Ref. No. in Incoming Payment
B1 8.8 PL14 and PL18
Are we able to include the Customer Vendor Reference Number in the Incoming Payment?
1. Open Incoming Payment
2. Select Form Settings
3. Cust./Vendor Ref No is selected as Visible but the Incoming Payment window does not display the Cust./Vendor Ref. No.
I then Deselect Cust./Vendor Ref No in the form settings and Click OK. Then I open the Form Settings window and the Cust./Vendor Ref No. is still set as visible.
What am I missing?This is what I did and is seams to be working.
1. Tools -> Customization Tools -> User Defined Field - Management
2. Expand Payments
3. Click Paid Documents
4. Click Add Button
5. Create a query to auto-populate the field
SELECT T0.[NumAtCard] AS 'BP Reference No.' FROM [dbo].[OINV] T0 WHERE T0.[DocNum] = $[$20.1.0]
6. Save the Query
7. Open the Incoming Payment window
8. Place cursor in the new field and select Tools -> Customization Tools -> User-Defined Values - Setup
9. Select Search in Existing User-Defined Values according to Saved Query
10. Select the Saved Query
11. Select Auto Refresh
12. Select When Field Changes
13. Select Customer/Vendor Code -
Dear all,
Is it possible to have TDS at time of making incoming payments for customers.
I have define TDS in witholding tax which is calculated at time
of preparing invoice and effect of the same is seen at time of
posting invoice or during incoming payment depending on the
category option selected in WT window.
Our client dont have any fixed % for TDS............... so what
he wants is while making incoming payment for customer he
must be able to enter TDS % or the amount detected....
can any one tell how to handle this in SAP B One.
regards
swapnil
Edited by: Philip Eller on Jun 6, 2008 9:22 AMHi
First tell me, are you using TDS add-on?
if your answer is YES, than you can have TDS effect in Incoming payment.
You just need to map the TDS code in you Customer(BP) master, accounting tab and open the flag Subject to withholding and select TDS code for P, for example you have TDS code for professional fees, you will get two codes in WT code form, set as default that code which is end with P.
And at the time of doing Incomming payment, keep TDS add-on in start mode.
In incoming payment right side above project field, you will get WT code field with drop down list, there you have to select the Wt code for deduction.

kamlesh
