  • To zoom into labour hours from standard cost estimate

    Hi,
Is there a way to zoom into the labour hours used for a standard cost estimate?

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, but you can see the quantity of each of the activity types in the itemization view of the cost estimate (CK13N or CK84_99).  If the quantity is not visible in your default display layout, you can added from the dropdown.

  • R12 Payment Process Request Status Report adding extra columns to XML data.

In 11i, we had modified the Preliminary Payment Report to include extra columns ( invoice distributions). In r12 , that report is obsolete and Oracle introduced a new report "Payment Process Request Status Report". This request uses BI Publisher to generate the final report output. I am unable to modify the template since the XML output of the report does not
contain the invoice distribution account data. We need to know how can we modify the XML data to include the extra columns.
For Funds Disbursement Process ( Payment Instruction File) , Oracle provides IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB extensibility package to construct custom XML element structure that can be added to the payment XML extract generated by Oracle Payments. Do we have something similar for this report ? Are there any other options available ?
    Thanks

    Hi
The same package "IBY_FD_EXTRACT_EXT_PUB" works for payment process request status report also. Please add the logic to get the distribution data in this package and you will see the new XML tags in this report also.
    Hope this helps.

  • How to add get the field name for a newly added site column.

    I have the following:-
Enterprise wiki site collection inside SharePoint server 2013.
I added a new site column of type managed metadata.
I opened the enterprisewiki.aspx page layout using the SP designer, to add the newly added site column to it.
But I have noted that to add any site column I need to know the field name , for example the default wiki category column is referenced inside the page layout as follow:-
    <Taxonomy:TaxonomyFieldControl FieldName="Wiki_x0020_Page_x0020_Categories" EmptyValueDescriptionForTargetTemplate="<%$Resources:cms,enterwiki_nocategories_assigned%>" DisableInputFieldLabel="true" runat="server"/>
    <b>
So my question is how I can know the field name for my newly added site column?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Regards

    Hi,
The “FieldName” should be the internal name of the column, you will find it at the address bar at the “Site Columns”->”Edit Column” page:

  • Adding new column to production database

I have to add a new timestamp column, that defaults to the current date/time, to an existing production database. The table is large - 150M records. I am trying to understand the ramifications of adding a new column to a table this large that gets hit often, mostly with inserts and reads. The column does allow null values and I am not going back and populating existing records with a value. Basically, I am looking for some best practice guidelines - how to prepare, what to expect, what other processes should be followed along with this schema update.

Thanks, I have not found any %TYPE or %ROWTYPE dependencies on the table I am altering. But at the same time I do not understand how these types of dependencies would invalidate packages. I wouldn't be breaking any %TYPE dependency because I am not dropping columns, only adding a new one. And according to documentation for %ROWTYPE - "If columns are later added to or dropped from the table, your code can keep working without changes." Can you point me to Oracle documentation that describes your concern in detail? Thanks.you can test it yourself
    SQL> CREATE TABLE abc (c1 NUMBER);

SQL> you should also consider the chance that some where if people are using "select * into" using this table, which will fail since you added new column. i don't see any unusual performance bottlenecks by adding a new column. in case of the backups, yes the earlier backups will not have the column. if you restore it, you will see earlier table structure itself. i have one specific question. why are you not attempting this in development/test environment first? even if it is a simple insert, it's always important to do it in test environments before attempting on production db. one thing for sure i know is, after adding column, you will have to recompile all the invalid dependencies. i think, it's better if you attempt it in test db and come up with any issues you see rather than asking a general question where problematic scenarios are plenty and rarely unknown before hand.

  • Errors processing after adding Computed Column to Time.

Errors in the high-level relational engine. The 'Time' table is based on a named query, and contains one or more computed columns. A table based on a named query cannot contain computed columns. If the computed columns are necessary, add them to the query
    expression.
    Help me, pls! Thanks!

    Hi CUONGNV0207,
According to your description, you get this error when processing cube. Right?
As the error message mentioned, a table based on a named query cannot contain computed columns. If you create a computed column in this table, it will throw this error. In this scenario, please go to the DSV and check if that table is set up with named query.
You can replace it with a DimTable in your database.

  • Total labour hours for a FG

I have one finished good A which has a multi level bom.
I want to see the total labour hours required to manufacture this material A.
i.e. total of all the labour hours of all the subassemblies
    under A.
In which transaction can I see it.
I have tried CK13N but am not able to find the total hours required to manufacture A.

    Hi Amit,
You can do this via routing itself,
    goto CA02
there you enter header detail screen
    goto
    extras
    scheduling
there you can put the quantity as required
There there you will see the results of scheduling the labor Hrs
But for that you need maintain your work center scheduling category as labour.

  • Adding nuew column to Oracle Projects Workplan Gantt

    Hi all,
I need help in adding a column to the gantt table in the workplan tab on Oracle Projects module. I need to add a description column near task-number column.

  • Retain field order on form when adding/deleting columns

If I move my html around to change the layout of the fields on an AddForm.aspx and then I start adding and deleting columns, the ordering of the ff## changes and I can have problems.
Its fine if I've only added new columns...what I've done is create an AddForm1.aspx to get the fresh ff##'s at the end of the list.  I copy them over to my AddForm.aspx
If I add and delete columns, then I can have problems.
The ff## may be renumbered when making an AddForm1.aspx and copying the new fields might create an error because of dupe ff##'s.
If I use AddForm1.aspx,  I lose my layout of the fields on my form AddForm.aspx.
I have been successful finding the ordering of the columns on AddForm1 and renumbering on AddForm.
But this is pain and error-prone.
What do people do to get around this dilema?
    thx
