Adding Addictive Cost to avoid Plant to plant cost discripency

Hello gurus,
We have a situation where Plant 1  recieved a sub contracted material which has Freight charges included as we maintained freight orgin group in one plant and we dont maintain freight orgin for plant 2.
So now the issue is when i try to add addictive cost for plant 2 i am unable to do that can somebody tell me step by step process to add the Freight cost it is one time and specific to this material only.
I do not want to extend freight orgin group to the costing sheet of plant 2. so please help me how do i add addictive cost here.
while adding addictive cost i do not see item category overhead, Can some one help step by step process .
Thank you
Prasad

Prasad,
Go to CK74n
Step 1-Enter the material number and Plant number
Step-2- Enter the category usually it should be V but it can be anything else as well
Step-3- Enter the Amount and lot size, cost element
Save it
remember to save it 2 times
And go to ck40n or ck11n to do cost run.
Thank You

  • Using a CC with a Balance Transfer without added interest cost

    I have several cards on 0% or low APR BT Offers, and those CC have also made me offers for cash back if I use the card for purchases. How can you do this, if the card is already on a BT, without destroying the low APR on the BT? Easy.  An important thing to understand about your credit card statement is that your statement balance can have multiple APR on several different portions of the balance. In this Bank of America example, I’ve got two separate 0% APR with different expiration dates, balance transfers left over from earlier at the purchase APR, and purchases at the standard purchase APR. The amounts shown are not the ending balance, but rather the average balance during the credit card statement period. (even this average balance isn’t exactly what the interest is charged on, because CC interest is charged on a daily percentage, resulting in daily compounding)Before Congress passed the CARD Act, most CC agreements would apply ALL payments to the lowest APR first, meaning in the above example the ~$8k on the two 0% APR would be paid first, all $8k, before even beginning to pay on the ~$500 at the purchase APR. This is a favorable purchase APR, but imagine if the purchase APR was at 19%? To make matters worse, the interest on the purchase APR items would usually add to the Purchase balance, and continue to compound the interest cost on the purchases until all the lower APR items were paid off however many months that took. Needless to say, in the old days it was not a good idea to use your credit card for regular purchases if you had a BT on the card.  That all changed with the CARD Act a few years ago. Since the credit reforms of the CARD Act, credit card issuers are allowed to apply the minimum payment to the lowest APR items first. However, after the minimum payment, they must apply payments to the highest APR items. The minimum payment depends on statement balance, but is often only 1% to 2% of that statement balance. In the example above, the statement balance of almost $8k required a minimum payment of only $82. This would be applied to the approximately $8k 0% APR balance first. Any additional payments above the $82 for the month would be applied to the highest APR items next. Actual interest charges usually fall into the higher APR buckets.  On the BofA cards, I get little offers for 10% cash back from certain national merchants. HairMasters, Starbucks, Buffalo Wild Wings, Papa Murphy’s, and several others are regularly available to add the offer to the card, use it at the merchant for one purchase, and get 10% cash back. With my Citi Diamond Preferred, I also had a $600 BT offer on the $1k CL, then got a 5% back on $500 of purchases in gas, groceries, restaurants and department stores. My Discover card had several thousand on a 0% BT, then they sent me a “spend $1,000, get $100 back” offer. My US Bank Cash+ has a low APR BT offer, and 5% categories for Department stores. How do you take advantage of the spend offers and not get interest charges? You usually have to accept / sign up for the spend offer, to add it to the card, so do that first. When you use the card for any of the offers, depending on the spend involved in the offer, just keep track of those as they post to your CC account online during the month. You have to wait until the charge amount actually posts to your credit card account, so it is no longer Pending. After it posts, it will be in the “Purchases” bucket of the daily interest charge calculations. Said differently, you cannot prepay these charges, you have to wait for the amounts to show up as Posted on your account online. It only takes a few days after you did the purchase, and you don’t have to wait until the statement cuts to see the amounts, but they do have to post to your account. After a few charges have posted, use the Make a Payment button on your credit card account to arrange an electronic payment from your checking account, to post the same day or in a few days. If you know when charges will hit, you can also schedule such a payment for a few days after, to allow time for the charges to post. Repeat this throughout the month if the spend offer is a long term thing. The amount of the payment you make must cover the Minimum Payment first. I’ll often just send over the minimum payment right after the statement prints, just to get it out of the way. I owe the amount, the BT needs to be paid off, and the Minimum Payment is a small amount anyway. I’ve also got Autopayments set up for all these accounts, which is intended to pay the BT offer over a schedule. I don’t use the Autopayment amount in my calculations of paying the purchase amount, although they would be applied to the purchase amounts. By paying the purchase soon after it posts, and after the minimum payment has been made, the interest rate clock never really gets started on the purchase amount. You may see a minimum interest charge of $0.50 if the card charges that, but often I don’t even get that amount if the payment is soon enough after the charge was posted. Chase Slate and Freedom cards are actually even easier. You can use the Blueprint Full Pay payment selector features to tell Slate the types of charges you want to include as pay in full, and they will add those new charges to your Blueprint payment to pay them above the minimum payment that is going toward the BT payment, and not accrue any additional Purchase interest. The Finish It allows you to set an additional amount you want to pay toward the BT (or purchase charges) principal over the minimum payment, to make the payments faster. So, the point of this is, if you have a BT offer on a card, you don’t have to effectively SD the card, it can be used for purchases to take advantage of special offers, or even for regular charges, without added interest cost.

    But since I don't have any interest on balance transfers and purchases on my discover card right now I usually just make whatever I was making (before the charge) and then I add the new charges in there.If you're 0% on BT's and purchases then this thread really isn't relevant.  This is for those that have 0% on BT and >0% on purchases. kdm31091 wrote:
    Basically, all this is saying, unless I am missing something, is that if you make purchases and pay them off before statement (i.e. don't carry the extra balance on top of the BT amount) you won't pay interest, which is the case with any CC, whether on a BT or not. I don't see how the rewards offers make any difference here. You're just paying charges as you go to avoid interest accruing.It is basically the same whether there's a 0% offer or not.  The OP started this thread to clarify for those that do have a 0% BT offer and still want to take advantage of rewards on the same card without impacting rewards by acrruing interest on new purchases.  If the card has no rewards as an incentive for new purchases then it's easy enough just to SD the card until the 0% offer balance is paid off. my-own-fico wrote:
    I'm not sure whether to agree, because if you pay the minimum following the statement date and then charge something that you soon pay off, we are talking about two different billing cycles. The billing cycles really don't matter aside from generating a new minimum payment as each cycle closes out.  Regardless of cycle the minimum has to be covered first and then new purchases within the given cycle need to be paid off as quickly as possible. The minimum applies to the prior cycle. Additional payment(s) need to be made for purchases in the current cycle.

  • ICPO PR adding lead time in supplying plant

    Hello Experts,
    I have a situation where Plant A (Purchasing Plant) is placing order for a material to Plant B (Supplying Plant) through ICPO (InterCompany Purchase Order).
    The requirement for the material is put through PIR (Planned Independent Requirement) in plant A. The Planned delivery time in the material master in plant A is considered for calculating PR Release date after MRP.
    This PR drives a Planned Order in plant B which calculates Order Start date through Lead Time Scheduling considering the PR release date from plant A as the Order finish date in plant B.
    The issue with this is the material is ready in plant B much before it is required in plant A.
    Example: -
    Planned Delivery Time in Matl Master in Plant A - 60 days
    Requirement date (thru PIR) in Plant A - 30/06/2014
    After MRP, PR for the material is created in plant A with Rel Date 01/05/2014
    In Plant B - Planned Order Finish date - 28/04/2014 (whereas i need the material in plant A on 30/06/14)
    Planned order start date - 25/04/14
    Thanks in Advance,
    Deodatta

    Hi,
    thank you very much for your reply .here i have small clarification required the 1st part po date there is no prob. 2nd part h PR release date how to calculate.
    functional is calculating like this.
    1st step: entering in date perioed in release date (1st aug -20aug)in ytable to getting the all PRS.
    2nd step: these prs from ytable enteing eban table some restriction like plant , deletion indicator  etc here getting prs,podate po etc
    3rd step: again all prs takking from eban table  they are entering in ytable :here all pr date are getting
    lead time = PO date from 2nd step- pR date 3rd step.
    can you suggest  me how to do 3rd step in bw reporting level or modelling level

  • Adding fixed cost in production order and creating liability

    Dear All,
    We are manufacturing one of our grade of material in a plant which we do not own.We pay some fixed charges to the owner of that plant @ Rs150 PMT produced in that plant.This  fixed charges is to be included in the production order and at the same time liability for that  fixed charges is also to be created so that payment can be made to that vendor.
    For charging this expenses to the production order we have created one activity type and one secondary cost element.But with this the liability can not be created.
    Please advice how to proceed in this circumstances.
    Regards,

    hi
    I am following this thread...but want to add some views on this..
    As I understood from your requirement that you are sending this material to a third party for some conversion with a fixed charge...so you must have a conversion contract with that party. In my views the process should be...
    1. Conversion contract with the party (MM)
    2. Material will be received from third party with conversion cost at the time of GR (MM)
         Example... Original cost + fixed conv cost = GR value
    3. Invoicing ... MIRO ..Party will be credited at fixed conversion cost
    4, When the same material is issued to another prod order the GI will be at cost as per sl.2
       Please revert back if you have any question

  • Import Duty added to costing run CK40n

    Hi all,
    We are looking to have the system automatically add the import duty on materials imported from outside of China into China during the SAP costing run. Was lookign at using CK74 additive option to set this up in the costing run or maybe somewhere in MM-PUR?. Has any one done this before or have any information on how to set this up please?
    Cheers

    Hi sree-
    You can use x-plant material status indicator during costing run. you can set up all the parts that are active with an indicator and use this indicator during cost run. you will find this indicator in dynamic selections.
    Hope this helps...

    Since you are already on R12 please refer to Note 781061.1. Please note that this is referring to 12.1.1 (after 12.1 which I believe is yet to be released). This functionality is available out of the box in that release. Since then if you want real time solution (cost has to change for the receipt and accounting needs to be correct) for the purchase receipt transaction, you have to use Costing hooks. You have to use transaction costing hooks as well as accounting hooks to offset receiving account value.

  • Adding Extra Cost in EK02

    Hi,
    My requirment is basically after getting the cost by EK02, which is the cost per piece. I want to add extra 200 amount on the per piece cost. For example if
    Sales Order Quantity = 1000
    EK02 / piece = 40
    Condition value becomes = 40 X 1000 = 40,000
    Adding extra 200 = 200 / 1000 = 0.2
    So new cost / piece = 40 + 0.2 = 40.2
    Condition value becomes = 40.2 X 1000 = 40,200
    Can this be configured in SD.
    Appreciate your support
    SAPXPT

    Hi,
    If you are looking for complete solution for all items then, you can configure some condition type with your specification and insert the same in pricing procedure...
    and maintain condition record for the same, it will pop up in sales order.

  • Process for adding no cost item to Service Order and show on invoice SM

    We want to put a non-cost item on a service order without having to put a $.01 value on them.  We might  purchase a box of bolts at a hardware store with a purchasing card and just expense items.  We add the bolt as a line item on our Service Order to charge customer some amount.  But we do not have a cost on the item.  To put a bogus $.01 cost  value on the item and have it show up in COPA and in the GL makes the data incorrect. It is our understanding that to pass an item on the service order through process related billing to the invoice it has to have a cost or it does not show up on invoice.   How do other folks deal with putting a no cost item on service order?

    Hi,
    I have tried everything, still its not working.
    First I tried creating a Service Ticket and adding the line item at one go.Then I was getting status error:
    System error: An attempt has been made to create a status object
    with the object number DE20131333937DF180C5001372F65D25.  However,
    a status object with this number exists already.
    Code sample given below:
      CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_BUSPROCESSND_CREATEMULTI'
        TABLES
          header          = itab_header
          item            = itab_item

          status          = itab_status
          text            = itab_text
          return          = itab_return
          service_os      = itab_service
          input_fields    = itab_input_fields
          created_process = itab_created_process.
    Then I tried creating a service ticket first and adding item later.Then there was no dump, but item details are not getting saved. Code sample given below:
      CALL FUNCTION 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'
        EXPORTING
          it_product_i      = lt_product_i
        CHANGING
          ct_orderadm_i     = lt_orderadm_i
          ct_input_fields   = lt_input_fields
        EXCEPTIONS
          error_occurred    = 1
          document_locked   = 2
          no_change_allowed = 3
          no_authority      = 4
          OTHERS            = 5.
    Can anybody please help me out on this? What is the correct approach?

  • Adding additional costs to Material with price control "V"

    Good Morning Gurus
    We want to add some additional cost to materials. How to do this ?
    These materials are valuated at MAP.
    Actually there are some delivery costs which were not inventorised correctly to the materials. The materials are undervaluated, we want to add this additional cost to the materials. We donot want to hit the price control account.
    Is there any other way ??
    Thanks

    Hi,
    You can alter the Costing variant and valuation variant according to your scenario. Check the costing variant in OKKN and valuation variant OKK4. You will find the indicator for additive cost there.

  • Logistics cost to be added in product cost

    Dear friends,
    We are operating logistocs vehicles on every day morning to collect materials from another plant and also get materials from suppliers..
    If the freight rate to be provided to logistcs is a constant value, we can give the rate in PO conditions inorder to add the freight cost in product cost.
    Rate to be provided to logistics vehicle will be varied based on the weight and space occupation of a material and the type of vehicle used (like LCV, HCV...)
    1. Incase of STO (Material from another plant) how to include the frieght rate in receiving plant product cost. Because the ratre is not a constant one it will be varied based on the above situations.
    2. Incase of regular purchase order how to handle the same situation of adding freight cost in to product cost.

  • Plant Information

    We have added a Z field for plant in CRM Web UI, which is mapped to the Delivery Plant Field in ECC. The problem is that once the plant information is updated in Web UI, the all the queues are proccesed, the information does not gets updated in ECC. But when there is a change in the Sales Area (for eg Delivery Priority or Currency) in Web UI & then the queues are processed, the plant information gets changed in ECC.
    Please help!!

    Hi There,
    The standard way to map plants from CRM to ERP is by using the Vendor partner. Note  493947 outlines this functionality ( its an old note but the manual steps are relevant). The mapping table is important CRMM_LOCMAP. The restriction is that the items must be relevant for ATP.
    If you dont want to use the standard mapping then maybe the following will help:
    If you have created your own field and done the mapping I presume you are using BADI crm_dataexch_r3d_mbdoc_fill to do this? If this is the case then you would need to debug the transfer to see why the maping isnt  happening on create - use note 656823 to help with the debug.
    Kind regards,
