Adding asset description to maintenance workbench forecast result

After running the forecast in maintenance workbench(EAM) i would like to have asset description in the forecast result. is there any way to add it?

Problem again with maintenance workbench,
Hi all,
The probelm again with the Maintenance Workbench is, when i try to implement the scheduled works am receiving an error "The entitiy with header id(3) generated the following error(s)" Please help me out

I will explain wot i had done in steps
1. Created a Set Name by name Electrical Monthly Set
2. Made a new Schedule
3. In maintenance user workbench, forecasted it and implemented it.
4. the work orders have been generated as lik they do
5. Then again for another asset number i defined an new monthly schedule in the same Set name
6. In maintenance workbench i forecasted it and while implementing all the selected works, i receive the error "The entitiy with header id(3) generated the following error(s) "
7. I closed the form and re-run the forecast work, it ran successfully and half of the work orders shows the action as "No Action" and remaining as "Create".
8. It shows dat the Action implies "No Action" shows the Work Orders r already generated.
9. But the fact is i have never generated since it generated the above said error.

Help me to tackle Errors in Maintenance Workbench
Hi all,
We r in a middle of an implementation project. In eAM Maintenance Workbench,while updating a scheduled work. Errors occur.
1.FRM-40735:ON UPDATE trigger raised unhandled exception ORA-04062
2.ORA-04062: Signature of package "APPS:EAM_WORKORDER_PKG" has been changed
Although, the invalid packages have been cleared. errors occur. Two days back we had applied three patches especially for errors in maintenance workbench. pls help meDinesh,
i cannot able to implement it and the error message again shows "Preventive Maintenance Work Orders have not been either selected or implemented.Please check your selection"You are not supposed to receive this error if you have applied the patch in the following document successfully. If you still receive the same error, I believe you need to log a SR.
Note: 746274.1 - EAM PM Forecast fails on WO implementation due to Sequencing Error: 'Previous Sequence Work Order Have not been either selected or implemented'

Has anyone ever use the forecast model that copying the past 12 months history as the future period forecast result in PP forecast model?
I know this function is availbale in APO DP, But I want to use this function in R3 not in APO.

Asset Description missing from Asset dropdown in AS03
Hi
I'm using fm BAPI_FIXEDASSET_CREATE1 to create assets and everything works fine except that those I've created don't have an Asset Description in the dropdown for AS03 - ie table ANLA field MCOA1 is blank. I can't find any way of filling this field in the import or tables parameters of the function module.
Does anyone have any suggestion as to how I can fill this field?

(If your system is not up-to-date, look at [Note 1180614 - Creating from posting: Missing asset description in F4 help|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1180614] (june 2008), in this case you may call ZCORMCOA from old OSS [Note 83864 - Assets without description when using F4 help|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/83864] to correct assets created before note correction)

Extract forecast results and accuracy (errors) in an ABAP program
Hi Experts,
We are executing forecast in background using planning jobs in a process chain. We are doing this in 2 stages - 1. at Product group & Location level and 2. at Product & Location level. The selection ids that we have created for these jobs contain multiple product & locaton combinations or product group & locaton combinations.
We can see the forecast reults, messages and errors in the job logs and messages (in the process chain ad spool). I would like to extract this same information into an ABAP program. We are basically tryig to find out the Product group and location combinations for which the MAPE is greater tha 50%.
There is a table /SAPAPO/FCSTACCU which gives the MAPE and other forecast errors. There is a fileld "Pointer for forecast results", I'm not able to relate this with our Product group & Location codes. Can anyone give me any ideas on how to proceed?

I think here you should able to find out all the information per product , location. As the respective information is available in tables, you can use them in ABAP program.

I have problem in AS02 bdc.When transferring the equipment from one plant to another.We run one BDC for changing BUSSINESS AREA , PLANNING PLANT , MATENANCE PLANT IN IE02.After that I am running one BDC for AS02 for changing Plant assignment.Here I am facing the problem for rare cases.The equipment description is overlapped by assets description for rare cases.I am confused about this...<removed by moderator>...Thanx in advance..

Your question contains answer ... Please change "Change equipment NO SYNCHRONIZATION" into DIRECT SYNCHRONIZATION AFTER SAVING and also make sure that Synchronization button is on in AS02 for relevant assets in Allocation tab. Please do this and revert back. Please also refer to an excellent article about PM & AA synchronization. Hope it will help you solve your issue.

Statistical Forecasting - Directing Forecast Results to Spool

We are executing planning jobs ( /n/sapapo/mc8g) for Statistical Forecasting. The planning jobs have been set up through /n/sapapo/mc8e with the required parameters and forecast profiles attached.
Post successful completion of the planning jobs, we get the results in the following manner :
1. Forecast Results are getting stored in the specified key figure in the interactive planning book
2. Job execution messages and information on parameters such as MAPE, MAD etc are directed to the spool.
Is there anyway in which we can also direct the forecast results to the spool ?

Basically I wanted the forecasting run results to be directed to the spool to be viewed at a later point of time.
What we are currently doing is trying out the various models for statistical forecasting ( using Univariate profiles ). SInce we are having to execute a large number of runs, it is pretty time consuming as we have to execute it for a specific brand, note down the forecasted numbers ( populated in the interactive planning book for the forecast horizon ) and then move on to the next model / brand.
To simplify and speed up the process, we wanted to try out the following :
1) Create the required number of univariate profiles with various models and parameters
2) Create Planning Activities ( with the corresponding profile attached ) and Planning Jobs
3) Execute the planning jobs through mc8g
4) View the job output in the job spool at one go
The issue we are facing is that the forecast results are getting written only to the interactive planning book. And not directed to the spool. I have listed the sample spool output of the planning run job below. If you observe the spool, only run related info and MAPE, MSE etc are listed.
How do we write the forecast results ( for the forecast horizon ) to the spool also ?

Help Required : Adding new Wagetype to IT 0402 Payroll Results
Dear Experts,
I am adding a new Wagetype to show in Payroll results. At the step of setting up payroll infotypes a workbench request is created. When I transport this request from my Development server to Quality server I get the following error
"Table CI_P0402 could not be activated"
Can anyone please guide me regarding this issue.

Talha AftabFor anyone else facing the same issue : You have to make sure the data elements part of CI_P0402, like ZZTELXXXXX are transported as well. They were not automatically part of my transport, which is why it worked fine on my DEV server, but couldn't be activated when I transported to QAS (The data elements are created for each new wagetype when they are added to 0402, and it is set up)

I have followed the instruction relating to Icloud connection.When i went to system preferences, my Apple address is continually rejected. I have added a second email as suggusted by an Apple site but i still get the same message. Im not told why the Apple ID/email is not accepted when it is accepted in all other Apple sites. I changed my password numerous times to ensure it wasnt the password but to no result. It continued to state that my Apple ID was the problem. I live in Malta,Europe. Have new Apple Mac Pro and Ipod. The annoying thing is that ICloud continually send me the problem notice but do nothing to tell me how to fix it? Can i switch this notice off? Help???????

If you mean that Find My Phone is asking for a password to a different Apple ID to your current Apple ID.
This feature has been introduced to make stolen phones useless to those that have stolen them.
However it can also arise when the user has changed their Apple ID details with Apple and not made the same changes to their iCloud account/Find My Phone on their device before upgrading to iOS 7, or if you restore from a previous back up made before you changed your details.
The only solution is to change your Apple ID back to its previous state with Apple at My Apple ID using your current password, you don’t need access to this address if it’s previously been used with your Apple ID, once you have saved these details enter the password as requested on your device and then turn off "find my phone" and delete the account from your device.
You should then change your Apple ID back to its current state, save it once again and then log back in using your current Apple ID. Finally, turn "find my phone" back on once again.
