Adding selection field to KOB1

I have read the OSS note 747588, but need to add a field that is not part of COVP table.
I'd like to introduce Functional location as additional field into Orders selection for KOB1 transaction.

Hi Paulo,
I'm afraid that is not possible. Instead you use the F4 help of Order field (see the picture below) and then select the shown option (PM Orders using Order List), which will take you to IW38 screen where you get F/Locn field. Get the orders here, Copy (Ctrl+C), comeback to KOB1 and paste here.

i have added custom fieds in ci_aufk, is it correct or do i need to add in ci_rkpos??
if i have add fields in ci_rkpos, from which table needs to fetch data ?
and to fetch values what select query should be used?

VL10A - adding selection field in standard screen

I have added two selection fields in General data tab like "Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date".
In Resulting report Layout all data is displayed except these two new columns ("Original Delivery date & Latest Delivery date"). Please guide me where should I change the code to get the data in these two new columns. Any help is highly appreciated.

Adding Selection Field to 0FI_GL_1 Datasource - GL Transaction figures

Hi,
I would like to add Chart of Accounts to my selection criteria of Datasource 0FI_GL_1 (for extraction to our BW 3.0B system. However when I go to RSA6, I can see KTOPL (Chart of Accounts) in the extract structure, but the Selection checkbox is greyed out. [R/3: PI 2003_1_46C]
Any suggestions?

P.S The reason I wish to include KTOPL in the selection is that we have many companies that belong to 2 different countries. KTOPL is easiest way for me to determine which country belongs to and I need to schedule my extracts by country.

Modify MB25 and add a new selection field

Hello All,
I need to copy MB25 to ZMB25 and add field to the selection screen and modify the select statement further. MB25 uses a LDB and I am never used LDB. Please help me how to do this and post some notes on LDB as I have lot of questions.
<b>FYI:</b> I made a Z copy of the program and in the program attributes, I see a LDB. I made a Z copy of the LDB and added a selection field. I donno if that is the right way or not. I am also not sure where to modify the selection based on the newly added selection field.

If you define the selection criterion for a column of a database table that supports dynamic selections, the values entered on the selection screen are transferred to the logical database. There, they are treated as dynamic selections. The logical database does not read records from the database table that do not meet these selection criteria. This kind of selection is much more efficient than for database tables that are not designated for dynamic selections.
Besides, the input fields for the corresponding dynamic selection are displayed on the selection screen from the start. This spares the user from having to choose Dynamic Selections to display the corresponding screen.

Adding additional field 1 to selection screen of CATSSHOW (CADO)

Hello all,
We recently added one of the additional field's to show up on the data entry section when using
transaction CAT2...This is working fine and the data is entered into CATSDB.
When using CADO, one can display the addtional field 1 and sort by this field.
However, the users now want this additional field1 to be one of the selections when they
use report CATSSHOW (CADO).
Is there some type of way to configure SAP to have one of these additional fields show up
as a selection field on program CATSSHOW (CADO)? My searches in this forum and the web
have not shown me a solution yet.
Or do I have to create a 'Z' version of CATSSHOW like ZCATSSHOW and do this myself?

Adding Selection Options Fields in Report(Using Query)

Hi,
how can we add Selection Fields Options in Query Reports Which we create using SQ01. I need a default option by which we can add all the selection option given by user.

Do you have anything defined in the 'Calcs' section?
If so, any fields returned by the query that are not included in the calculation will be automatically added to the Group fields (using the same logic as required with calculations/group by in any SQL query). The fields won't be able to be removed from the Group list unless the Calc is also removed.

Additional field added in Infoset unable to use as a selectable field

I added 2 fields as additional fields to the Organizational Assignment infotype in a PNP Infoset that I created via SQ02. When I select the infoset to build a query via adhoc query the fields are listed in the Org Assignment infotype and available for output but are not available as a selection field. There is no check box under the Selection column, only a checkbox under the output column.
How do I make the added additional fields available as a section field as well as an output field.

MVKE-KOSCH to be added to the list of select fields in MM17

Hi All,
We need MVKE-KOSCH (product allocation) to be added to the selection change field in MM17 (Sales:Sales Organization Data). So we can execute mass changes on the Product Allocation field. Once executed, there is no way to add MVKE-KOSCH (Prod All) to the list of fields to be changed.
Please let us know how we can add the MVKE-KOSCH to the select fields.

MM17 is for Mass Maintenance of Material List. So, I dont Think we can add Fields like MKVE-KOSCH.
Its not Possible.

SQ01 - Adding a field to the Selection Screen

You have marked this thread as being answered, however, neither of your questions has been specifically addressed in the answers provided.
You can make any field from any infotype a selection field in SQ01. First, in Settings --> Settings uncheck the Graphical Query Painter. Enter the query and use the yellow arrows to the right to reach the Selection screen. Here, any field in your query can be checked to become a selection field. If the Graphical Query Painter is checked, go to your query. On the left you have your infotypes and fields. Checking the right hand box will make any field in your query a selection field.
For your second question, if you create your query in SQ01 in the "Global Area" it is transportable when saved and you should get a pop-up requesting the transport number. If you save a selection screen for that query with the starting designation "CUS&", it is also transportable when saved the pop-up should also appear.

Adding a field to result recording worklist selection screen

Hi,
I am just wondering if there is a way to permanently add the production order (QALS-AUFNR) field into transaction QE51N as a selection field. Presently this field is only available in the dynamic selection screen.
1 - Is there a way to do this? If so how?
2 - And if not, should a new transaction code be create with a copy..as version of QE51N. Is this a good way?

I created my report/screen in includes for these two exits.
Like:
E_PGMID = 'ZRPO_ZXQEEU22'.
E_DYNNR_PIC_GRO_SU = '3000'.
I see my new field only here :
Any ideas ? How really add custom fields on selection screen for QE51N and why standard fields diapered from screen above.

Adding one more selection field in the standard data source

Hi SAP Gurus,
I'd like to know how to add one field as a selection field for the data source.I used 0FI_GL_4 Datasource .It has 2 selection.Now I want to add one more field as a selection field .How to mark that field as selection?I tried by using RSA6 ,But I'm unable to change the previous selection.

when ever you create any Generic DS, you can find generic DS(I checked this), comming append fields(it's happend to me)... there is no meaning.. as we know... we will extract the data for append fields using existing DS.
Comming Raju:
to my knowledge, you should not add that field as selection enabled(wait for others posts). I had seen many posts for working on this... by updating the Table ROOSFIELD table for the respective DS. I never implemented this... if you update this using any custom program be careful. Ihave ccreated the program for append fields not for Standard Extractor.

Added new field to cube but data not passed from DSO

Hope someone can help.
(BI 7.0) We added new fields into a cube. The fields already existed in the DSO. When we ran the process chain in development for the first time after making this change, we notice that the 'historical' data for these fields is populated in the cube. When we do this in our quality system only new data passed to the cube is updated. In development in the sub-chain DTP request we see all previous requests listed under selections. In quality it is only the latest request. The only difference is that the DeltaInit flag in the DTP request in development is ticked (extraction mode) - but not in quality. Does anyone know whyb this is?

Adding fields to cube doesn't affect delta status...The delta DTP should be able to handle delta requests automatically.
I guess in you quality system, the cube already got all requests updated from ODS before you importing the change request. And in develop system none of the requests in ODS were updated before the change.

Adding Summary Fields

Good Morning Everyone,
We would like to add summary Fields.
1)
Double click on the Data Model icon on the Object Navigator
Click on the Summary Column tool on the Data Model Editor's left hand toolbar
Double Click on CS_1
and so on
2)use SUM at Report Wizard :
After researches, we founded Creating summary / formula columns in data model does not show them in paper layout. We learnt the report wizard, and choose to display the summary / formula column in one of the steps.
Following Report Wizard and will see SUM option;

Your screen shot shows that you have nothing selected as a summary. So, there is nothing to display in the layout. What is your exact problem? The available fields don't look like you can SUM them, so the option is not available.
we founded Creating summary / formula columns in data model does not show them in paper layoutIf you add them later on, you can manually add them in the layout.

Adding a field to an sql statement in Oracle Reports error ORA-00933

We have been requested to add a field that already exists in the table referred to by the sql statement in Oracle Reports Builder. The report was set up by a consultant about 3 yrs ago and we don't really have much skill in this area. What is happening when I try to modify the SQL statement, either adding a field or deleting a field to the SELECT statement, causes an error message preventing the statement from being saved. The only way out of the error message is to click Cancel. The error message is
ORA-00933:SQL command not properly ended
ORDER BY Program ==> NAME
Even adding or deleting a space anywhere in the SQL statement causes the error (not adding any new fields). A coworker found that if we comment out the ORDER BY, the statement will accept the new field in the SELECT section, however then we lose the order by functionality. I would like to add one additional field before the FROM. Not sure if any additional data are needed. Thank you.

I tried your suggestion. The good thing is that adding the comma allowed me to be able to add a.campus to the select statement, unfortunately, another error message happened.

After that, removed the comma which led to the ORA-00933 error message. So once again, I had to close the file without saving, in order for the report to run at all.
