Advanced find - Case modified older than 4 hours

Hi there,
For CRM 2011 on premise
I'd like to have an advanced find date option that says "Older that x hours" as i'd like to find cases that have not been modified for 4 hours.  (there already is an older than x months option).
Or if there was a way to add a NOT function to a clause we could do this with cases edited in the last week and NOT modified in the last 3 hours.
Would either of these possible please?
Kind regards,
Stuart
Stuart

There is no way to do this by default as you are unable to use advanced find to filter on hours, minutes and seconds. All though these are defined in the date-time format.
To accomplish this you would need to make a custom developed list.
I cant even see you completing this request with any other semi-default functionality. I have tried thinking the cases through if you extract the HH from the date-time info, and that would work, but you would be missing the information on  your current
date-time, which wouldnt allow you to search for values that are greater than 4 hours difference.
So.. custom development unfortunetly.

    Calendar search cannot find events older than a year.
    neither does spotlight search.
    iphone 4s 16GB ios version 7.1.2
    ipad 32GB with retina (purchased on 2012) ios version 7.1.2
    Does anybody has the same issue?
    Calendar events over one year old are not found when searched on iOS. Neither on the iPhone nor the iPad. Although they are found on a mac running mavericks calendar app.
    All events are displayed when going directly to the month and viewing all the events of each day, but she search feature, the one accessed through the little magnifier, simply cannot find any event older than a year.
    I have multiple events in my calendar and I tested them and the last I can find is within 365 days of today. after that events cannot be found.
    steps to reproduce:
    1. go into the calendar app on the iPhone and add an event but use a date date 13 months older than the current date. Save the event.
    2. verify the even is created by looking at the day of the event
    3. on the top right corner of the calendar app select the magnifying glass and try to search the event by typing any word you used on the title of the event just created
    4. search result will display No Results
    5. exit the calendar and access spotlight search on the home screen by using the "pull down" gesture from an area outside of the dock, including the top row of app icons. Type any word you used on the title of the event just created
    6. search result will not display the event
    Thanks

    this has already been answered.

  • Exchange 2010 Outlook search can not find messages older than 1 year

    Hello,
    I have an exchange 2010 sp2 server. One of my users complains that Outlook search can not find any message older than 1 year. He have all his 5 year mails in the mailbox, but looks like search engine cant recognise them :(
    Any thoughts? thanks in advance.

    Hi,
    Please verify that indexing is complete in Outlook:
    1. In Outlook, click in the Search box.
    2. Click the Search tab, click Search Tools, and then click Indexing Status.
    3. When the Indexing Status dialog appears, you should see the following:
    Outlook has finished indexing all of your items.
    0 items remaining to be indexed.
    Besides, please use the Search-Mailbox cmdlet to check if you can get messages older than one year in this user mailbox.

  • Can't search events in ical older than 1 yr on iPhone 4 since upgrading to OS7

    This is a serious flaw. I found myself at Mayo clinic relying on searching my iPhone ical to look up past medical events. But I had upgraded to iOS 7 just B4 going & found SEARCH mode on iCal didn't find any event older than 1 year. Called Apple for help and was told this change came in with the new OS!!! And I asked how I could revert to iOS 6 --- not possible!! iCal on my Mac Air & iCloud show ALL my events. But the search mode on iCal on my phone doesn't show everything iCal saves - only the most recent events. Anybody have a workaround this problem??

    If what I said helped, you can click on helped. If what I said answered your question, you can click on that. It is up to you, since all I'm here for is to try and help. I'm a user just like you.
    Might I suggest something that I do, since I am an AARP member as well, I have created an Adobe document with this information, since I have had several surgeries in the past and then uploaded that into iBooks so I have that on the phone. I can update it as necessary and it keeps me from having to do a lot of searching.

  • [journalctl] cannot find log older than actual boot

    Hi,
    my system just crashed, so i runned "sudo journalctl", but there is no log older than THIS session...
    it is the way journalctl works, or something really bad is going on?
    how i'm supposed to find what whent wrong? /var/log seems unused since 28 august, when i've installed a full systemd
    cheers

    That's the default. You can change it by creating the appropriate place for a permanent log and/or you can tell it to use syslog-ng and modify that service to use systemd's logging.
    This is all explained in the wiki - see https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Sy … md_Journal.

    Many apple phone users are especially fed up with RSGI Communication , Erandwana, Pune, Maharashtra, India.
    Their service report No. 36679.
    Allthough Mr Punit ( Technical Dept. Apple.) had requested RSGI to chance the device, still RSGI said they do not have the device ( I phone 5, white ,16GB) in stock.
    Today when we contacted them they said they won't be able to replace OR order to Apple unless and until we do not keep the device with them for 3 days.
    Mr Deepak of Technical Dept Apple was contacted who's telephonic Transript as proof is available with us.

    Who exactly are you addressing your screed to

    I can't find previously purchased audiobooks on my computer, these downloads ar older than 90 days.

    I have no clue what you mean. If you downloaded the audiobooks in iTunes on your computer or of you transferred the audiobooks from the iPad to iTunes via the transfer purchases feature, the books should be in your iTunes library,
    If you are looking to download them again in the purchased section of iTunes, you have to buy them again. Audiobooks cannot be downloaded again for free. They are not part of iTunes in the cloud.

  • Apple installation date shows as default date on all e-mails older than 24 hours. ??

    My MacBook was installed on 05/01/06 (the date of the Apple location name and the date many of the applications etc. were created).  Recently all e-mails (Mozilla messaging -- Thunderbird) older than 24 hours started showing the date received/sent as 05/01/06.  How can I fix this ?

    Yeah, I have done all that too.
    The second to last time I talked to AT&T, they said they did not have a device type in their computer system and they had to add that in their system. A couple days after they did that, I still had problems. One AT&T rep got an iPhone like mine and set up my e-mail account on that phone and tested it out 10 times by sending e-mail back and forth from phone to computer and etc. He said it worked perfectly fine without any issues. He said to restore phone back to factory settings and that he can tell nothing is wrong with their CWMX.com server as it worked fine for him when he tested out my e-mail account. After I spoke to the rep who did not have problems with the e-mail, I tried sending out e-mail and it would not work. That night, I restored phone back to factory setting as requested. That night after I did that, the e-mail still would not work. The next day, I still had issues. After that, I may have had issues maybe a couple times. Right now as far as I know it seems to be working okay but once I say that, I wonder if I will start having issues again? I wonder if not having my device type in their computer system would cause me all these problems and if so after updating it why did phone still have issues a couple/few days later? I'm sure it wouldn't take that long for it to take in their system if it was the cause.
    Since the rep tested out my e-mail account from the city/state where he was located and worked fine, and it didn't for me where I am located.... I am wondering if it has something to do with the area of the local towers?
    Nothing makes sense to me... and I have done everything that I possibly know and can. I just hope it continues to work and it stays that way and that I won't start having issues with it again.

  • Trying to find "history" older than a month on my computer

  • ICal server not sending events older than 10 days

    Have just discovered an issue with our iCal Server that I hope someone can help me resolve. It seems that sometime in the last few days, or past week. the iCal Server (running on a Snow Leopard Server 10.6.8 setup) has stopped sending out any events older than 10 or so days for 6 of the 7 calendar calDAV accounts that we all subscribe too. All future events on each calendar appear to be visible. The situation is consistent across of all of our Desktop's, MacBook Pro's and iPhone's so it is not localized to any single machine. It is also consistent when I subscribed through a third party calnedar application (BusyCal).
    I have gone into the ~/Library/CalendarServer/Documents and although I could not access the folders directly, I did copy the folder and its contents to another hard drive where I was able to view what was inside. It appears that all of the individual event .ics files for each account are in their respective subfolders, but they are not being served out to the subscribers.
    Any ideas on how to get these older events to become visible again would be very much appreciated. I am not very well versed on this type of thing and am learning on the fly.
    Shawn

    I'm having this same issue and I'm really ticked off.
    When I upgraded today, I received a message saying that because I had so many events in the past that it would take longer to upgrade everything. It said that all my current and future events had been updated, but the past events would be available in 1 hour. Well, it's been a lot of 1 hours since then and nothing. All my events have been deleted from my MacPro, MacBook Pros, and iPhone. I'm holding out hope for them to reappear in the morning.
    I know this isn't part of this thread, but I thought I'd throw it out anyway. Why are my subscribed calendars NOT visible online. Apple made an announcement in the past celebrating the ability to view subscribed calendars online when they once could not. Now with a new ADVANCEMENT, we've regressed and I cannot view subscribed calendars online. I hate to break it to Apple, but I use these subscribed calendars in my scheduling and planning, too. I still need to see them online just as I do on my computer and phone. So with all the updating and wonderful features, the lack of this one makes MobileMe online calendars useless to me and others.
    One step forward, two steps back.

  • How to delete data older than three years from DSO

    Hi  all,
    We needs to keep historical data in the DSO only for three years. One way of doing this is by selective deletion we can delete data older than three years but we want to make it authomated. Is it possible to add a process or ABAP program to delete data older than three years.
    If it is p[ossible by ABAP code then can you please give me sample code.
    Many Thanks in advance.
    Harman

    Some time for in case of huge volume of data selective deletion is not works, Try for "prunning" option.
    It's work as follows
    1)     Create DSO which is same replica of your Source DSO.
    2)     Create two transformation
         a) from Source DSO to Copy DSO
         b) Another is from Copy DSO to Source DSO
    3)     Transprort Last 3 years records to Copy of Source DSO using DTP Filter range for time.
    4)     Once data loading from Source DSO to Copy DSO get completed delete all data from Source DSO.
    5)     Now load data from Copy DSO to Source DSO.
    6)     After complete loading delete entire data from Source DSO.
    I use prunning process to one of my client and it's work perfectly.

  • Mail lists messages older than Yesterday with 27 March 09

    My mail is received under the heading Date Received: as Today, Yesterday and 27 March 09. If I open the message with 27 March 09 the correct date and time is displayed in the message header. the time received is correct on all messages.
    All messages in my various folders older than two days are dated 27 March 09. Any ideas.

    With respect to having Mail store your Sent messages you must choose whether they are to be stored on the server (if .mac or IMAP account), and for how long to store them.
    Before making this change, you should have created an On My Mac mailbox (this would be separate from the one for the account) and transferred the older messages to that mailbox.
    However, in this case, since Spotlight finds some messages, you should look with the Finder in Home/Library/Mail/Mailboxes and see if there is an xxxx.mbox folder that was storing the Sent messages previously. If so, rename it, and it should show up in the Sidebar to the Mail window -- this might require reindexing via the Rebuild command.
    More info after making this examination, and before renaming of making any other changes.

  • Set restriction to get messages older than a specific date using EWS?

    Hi, I'm new working with EWS and I have found some code to set a restriction to help me filter messages "between" to dates, but I need to be able to obtain emails that are "older" than a specific date so I can delete them.  My application needs to be
    able to clean up a mailbox to only to keep up to so many days/weeks worth of emails.  The code I have to search for emails that works
    between dates is:
    public void SetDateRestriction(FindItemType findItemRequest)
    DateTime dateStart = DateTime.Now;
    DateTime dateEnd = DateTime.Today.AddDays(-180);
    PathToUnindexedFieldType dateSentPath = new PathToUnindexedFieldType();
    dateSentPath.FieldURI = UnindexedFieldURIType.itemDateTimeSent;
    IsGreaterThanOrEqualToType isGreaterThanOrEqual = new IsGreaterThanOrEqualToType();
    isGreaterThanOrEqual.Item = dateSentPath;
    FieldURIOrConstantType dateConstant = new FieldURIOrConstantType();
    ConstantValueType dateConstantValue = new ConstantValueType();
    //dateConstantValue.Value = string.Format("{0}-{1}-{2}T00:00:00Z", dateStart.Year.ToString(), dateStart.Month.ToString(), dateStart.Day.ToString());
    dateConstantValue.Value = dateStart.ToUniversalTime().ToString("yyyy-MM-ddT00:00:00Z");
    dateConstant.Item = dateConstantValue;
    isGreaterThanOrEqual.FieldURIOrConstant = dateConstant;
    // less than or equal to
    PathToUnindexedFieldType dateSentPath1 = new PathToUnindexedFieldType();
    dateSentPath1.FieldURI = UnindexedFieldURIType.itemDateTimeSent;
    IsLessThanOrEqualToType lessThanOrEqualTo = new IsLessThanOrEqualToType();
    lessThanOrEqualTo.Item = dateSentPath1;
    FieldURIOrConstantType dateConstant1 = new FieldURIOrConstantType();
    ConstantValueType dateConstantValue1 = new ConstantValueType();
    //dateConstantValue1.Value = string.Format("{0}-{1}-{2}T00:00:00Z", dateEnd.Year.ToString(), dateEnd.Month.ToString(), dateEnd.Day.ToString());
    dateConstantValue1.Value = dateEnd.ToUniversalTime().ToString("yyyy-MM-ddT00:00:00Z");
    dateConstant1.Item = dateConstantValue1;
    lessThanOrEqualTo.FieldURIOrConstant = dateConstant1;
    RestrictionType restriction = new RestrictionType();
    AndType andType = new AndType();
    andType.Items = new SearchExpressionType[] { lessThanOrEqualTo , isGreaterThanOrEqual };
    restriction.Item = andType;
    findItemRequest.Restriction = restriction;
    How can I modify this to give me emails older than a specific date?  Also any input on doing the deleting would also be greatly appreciated!
    Best Regards,
    Nelson

    Thank you very much Glen!  I can't believe it was that easy.  Works perfect.  I will work on the DeleteItemType.  I was also wondering if there was a way to detect if an email is an Out-of-Office (OOO) or Undeliverable message?
    My app goes through all the emails and I need to skip any that are OOO or Undeliverable messages.  I've learned how to use the SearchFilter and I find that easier and more straight forward than setting the restrictions.  I'm also able to use a SearchFilter
    to get emails older than the specified date.
    Here's my new code for reading unread emails using the SearchFilter and paging (for better efficiency).
    1 - Is there anyway to tell the filter to get AllProperties without having to specify each one using ItemSchema or EmailMessageSchema?
    2- What is the difference between those two (any advantages over one or the other)?
    3 -Is there any reason to even be using the ExchangeServiceBinding here anymore since it seems the ExchangeService object is all I need?  In my old code, I was using the ExchangeService object to do an AutoDiscover and then using that to set the URL
    in the ExchangeServiceBinding.  What are the main to difference/uses for these to objects?  Sorry if that's a dumb question.
    private void GetUnReadEmails(string sMailboxName)
    // Create the binding to Exchange
    ExchangeServiceBinding esb = new ExchangeServiceBinding();
    esb.RequestServerVersionValue = new RequestServerVersion();
    //Console.WriteLine("Exchange version: " + esb.RequestServerVersionValue.Version);
    //esb.RequestServerVersionValue.Version = ExchangeVersionType.Exchange2007_SP1;
    ExchangeService service = GetBinding(sMailboxName);
    Console.WriteLine("Exchange version: " + service.RequestedServerVersion);
    esb.Url = service.Url.ToString();
    esb.Credentials = new NetworkCredential(Username, Password, Domain);

  • Using the USB cable to sync my blackberry deletes all calendar entries older than 3 mos

    I'm not very good at this kind of thing, so please pardon what I'm sure will be mistakes/omissions as I describe my problem.
    Every time I sync my blackberry using the USB cable (I'm told by my boyfriend who is an IT guy that I can't sync it wirelessly although I don't know why), all of my calendar entries in Outlook get erased--that is, all the entries that are older than 3 mos.  I frequently use those entries as reference so I can't lose them--so now I'm terrified to sync my blackberry.
    Any help will be much appreciated!

    I just found this on the support page and am going to try it for a couple of days to see if it solves the problem:

  • Help! All Inbox Emails older than 2-3 weeks have disappeared in Outlook 7, IMAP GoDaddy

    Hi,
    So we have two computers in the office that are set up with Outlook (email addresses are hosted on GoDaddy) in IMAP.  The computer with Outlook 7 was working fine, but a few weeks ago, we noticed that ALL emails older than a couple weeks had simply
    disappeared from the inbox!  And it keeps happening everyday.  As soon as more emails come into the Inbox, some of the oldest (again only a few weeks old) emails just vanish.
    All the archive settings are off and Auto Archive has been disabled since the beginning.  I have tried to locate a pst file that might have these emails in them but all the files I have been able to find
    are archived Sent Mail.  All Sent Mail is still available as well as any emails saved in any of the other email folders.  What is even more confusing is that all the emails have also disappeared from the Inbox on the GoDaddy server as well!  I've
    tried the repair tools, I've tried opening Outlook in safemode, and resetting the mailbox views, etc...  NOTHING has worked and the issue keeps happening, so we are losing emails daily.
    At first, we thought this might be an issue because the email had been linked to an iPhone and we were told that the Apple cloud server had a habit of erasing emails to make space on the server once it got
    full, but we disconnected the iPhone comepletely from the account and it is still happening.  What's the most confusing is why the emails aren't able to be found on our GoDaddy server, since we have unlimited space on our account.
    Anybody have this issue as well?  I really need to find these emails, being able to access ALL of our client correspondence is essential to our daily work!
    Thanks in advance!

    Hi,
    If we search the missing items in All Mail Items in Outlook, can you find them?
    We can also try to use the Inbox repair tool to scan and repair your Outlook data file to check if it helps. See:
    http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/outlook-help/repair-outlook-data-files-pst-and-ost-HA010075831.aspx
    Since your emails are disappeared from the server, please also contact your ISP to get assistance on the server side.
