Hello all,
I'm using jdev 11.1.1.3. What I'm trying to do is display a PDF within another page. The user will view the PDF and then click on a button to approve, reject, etc the PDF. These buttons exist on the main page.
All of my backing beans extend a custome phase listener.
The main page contains the following tag:

The page pdf_frame.jspx is basically empty except that during the render phase it retrieves the PDF and streams it to the response output.

I've also tried SubForms and JSP Includes but nether improved the situation.
Is there some limitation on using faces pages within an iframe?

Any non-faces target seems to work. My initial thought was to use a servlet. I was just hopeing that a JSF source could be used as well.

Actually we will monitor idoc status in BD87 in SAP BI As well ECC , while extracting the data from source sytem if any idoc struck we will manually process in BD87 , But you are telling that while loading the datasource the error occurred , so please check once in ECC side . Otherwise see how many packets are still process, make it red that infopackage and do manually update.

Error when updating Idocs in Source System - Urgent

Hi Team,
When i was loading the data from SAP R/3 to BW, i was facing the error "Error when updating Idocs in Source System" (0 From 0 Records).
When i check in the Environment>Transaction RFC->In the Source System, it was displaying the error--
" Import container contains errors (are any obligato) in the Function Module: IDOC_ERROR_WORKFLOW_START_R".
Can any one please help me to solve this error.
This is am Urgent requirement for me to deliver.

How r u ?
The workflow settings are not proper it seems. Ask the BASIS people to correct the Work Flow Settings. Then try Updating the IDOCs manually.
Also check the Inbound and outbound IDOCs in the Source system. The outbound should contain some warnings or errors.

We did a recent copy from QAS to DEV,after which am unable to run my process chains ,the load status still showin yellow signal,whereas job is getting finished but am unable to load datas to the targets. Am getting the following error message when i see the display message in process chain.

Hello All,
I have same problem but its RESOLVED by the following process.
Step - 1
execute the Function module "SCP_LANGUAGES_IN_INSTANCE". It may or maynot give some output. Just note if it give the output
Step - 2
in Transaction SE38 execute the program "RSCPINST".
Just Click on the Activate button (dont select anything).
Step - 3
Again do the same thing specified in Step - 1. Now it will give the output saying that Language is DE.
So by the above procedure my issue is been resolved.

ERROR WHEN GENERATING EXPORT DATA SOURCE

Dear Members,
I am getting an error when generating export data source for Info Cube. I'm creating an Info Cube based on already existed info cube. Literally I am copying all the settings of an info cube to new Info Cube. The scenario is to load the data from one Info Cube to the other. The creation of Info Cube from an Info Cube is successful. But the problem is when I am generating export data source the following error is occurred.
Error: Data Source 81c_svrr does not exist in source system B3TCLNT800 of version A.
what could be the reason for the error?
Please let me know.

The problem is because of error in the Myself Connection , Check the Myself connection in the source systems and the activate and restore the connection and try, it should work..

Error when activating Datasource in Source System

Dear All,
I am gettting this error when activating data source in source system(RSA5).
1)DataSource 0NETWORK_CUST_ATTR; switch to package PS_IS_EHP3_SFWS_SC is off.
2) The extract structure DTTV_REC_53 of the DataSource 0TV_REC_531 is invalid
Message no. R8444
Diagnosis
An invalid extract structure has been assigned to the DataSource. An extract structure has to be active in the DDIC. It cannot be a view, since the customer is not able to add append fields for filling in the customer exits to a view.

Error - When Activating Generic Data source in BW DEV

Hi,
I am working in BI 7.0
I created a Generic Data source
I had checked in RSA3 , it is showing records too.
i replicated the Datasource in BW
Datasource is available in BW
Then I try to activated the Datasource
because
when i try to create tranformation for the data source then
It will show this message (and transformation is not created)
Source RSDS ZCOPC_C10 GDVCLNT110 does not exist
My Data source name is ZCOPC_C10 for source system GDVCLNT110
then I will try to Activated the Data source First
then also it will show the Error like this

Suddently have compile errors when creates new *.jspx in new project

I'm creating a new test case.
I created an applicaiton and a model project without any problems.
I created the view project and add a jspx document into without anything into. I got no errors when compiling.
I added a adf table by dropping an iterator from the data control palette. I got these errors when i recompiled.
A library seem to be missing for the project or something like that. I don't understand why the web project is not correctly setted.

I found the problem.
We added some librairies in the model problem and they was in conflict with the librairies in the view project. Removing unnecesary librairies from the model solve the problem (i think servlet.jar was the problem).

ORA-01785 error when dynamically resetting report source

When programmatically changing the region source on a 'function body returning SQL query' report, i get the following error:
ORA-01785: ORDER BY item must be the number of a SELECT-list expression
if the new SQL statement has fewer columns than the one it is replacing, and the user had previously selected a sort column for a column# higher than the highest column number in the new query
for instance if the query was SELECT * FROM EMP and the user had clicked the COMM header to sort on COMM (column number 7), then changing the region source to SELECT * FROM DEPT results in the ORA-01785 -- evidently because Apex is submitting SELECT * FROM DEPT ORDER BY 7
is there a way to programmatically reset Apex's ORDER BY column# setting? clear cache and reset pagination don't seem to do it

i really didn't want to reset all user preferences, as i am making extensive use of them in this application
however, i did find HTMLDB_UTIL.REMOVE_SORT_PREFERENCES -- which, unfortunately, removes all sort preferences, not for a specific page or region.
i was able to find the correct preference in WWV_FLOW_PREFERENCES$, so I can user HTML_DB_UTIL.SET_PREFERENCE to reset it, but the preference_name includes the region#, which changes on import -- so i'll need to extract if at runtime using javascript, or figure out some other runtime technique for finding the correct preference_name
hey, apex developers, how about enhancing HTMLDB_UTIL.REMOVE_SORT_PREFERENCES to allow setting/removing the sort preference for a specific page (by page number or alias) and region (by position on the page or some other reliable identifier?

Error when activate a SAP source system

Hello Experts,
I have an issue when I try to create a new SAP source system but I cannot complete this operation because a Timeout error occurs when the system made the destiny verification, the source system can be created but not activated, I already create the RFC connection and they are OK, I add the new logical system of the source system in the configuration (SBIW) in the general settings,and the data source tree is show succesfully and sems to work OK and the data sources seems to be OK too.
In the RSA1 transaction, go to source systems tree, choose the SAP source system called: "conexion a dev 200" -> right click and choose activate and the error occurs.
I have a Myself source system already created and activated, I cannot find the source of the problems thata cause the timeout error in the new source system.

Yes, I try ti use the create automatically option first but it doesn't work, because says that we system already exists because here exist a myself source system with an RFC to R/# ( I don't know why), so I must use the manually creation option, I put the logical system, and all the requeriments of the screem. The system create the source system but when I try ti activate it, it is impossible to do it....!
I hope that you can give some tips or solution for this issue,

Error when trying to compound source system

I am receiving the error message R7 405 "Inconsistent Compound with char x and Ref char x" when I try to compound 0SOURSYSTEM to some of my infoobjects.
Has anyone seen this issue and been able to resolve it?
A simple scenario would be to try to compound source system with 0Division. Division has a reference char of 0DIV_HEAD. Both are collected in RSD1 via the free selection of infoobjects. 0Division is changed and both objects are selected and activated. The resulting error R7 405 is then displayed by the system. We are receiving this for multiple objects. I was able to convert Material with all its dependencies.

I get it.
This is what I did. I added source system as compounding IO to reference object, say ZDIVISION in IO editor. I saved it (it was giving me activation error). I then opened the referencing char, say ZDIV_HEAD in IO editor and added source system compounding. It was again giving me activation error, so I just saved it.
I went to RSD1, collected these two IOs and activated. I got an error because the reference IO was in a comm structure which had no source system. I deleted that infosource, and activated both the IOs again in RSD1. It activated just fine. Both IOs are active now.
By the way, the IO editor does allow you to add compounding for a referencing IO (it gives activation error though).

You have to configure the Web Services security of Discussions.

Basically the steps are:
Configure the security of the Discussions WebServices. Policies associated to the OWCDiscussionsServicePublic and OWCDiscussionsServiceAuthenticated
Configure Portal - Discussions connection according to the policies configured for these webservices.
Follow the above link and your issue will be resolved.
