After updating to ios6 my iPad 2 started showing an error saying "Restore needed this IPhone cannot make or receive any calls "--Even after restoring it shows the same error and then it restarts. It is ipad2 CDMA Verizon and I live in India. HELP PLZ!!
It was working properly for 9 months then suddenly it started showing me this error.

If you are using Apple's Mail app 6.5 is the latest version irrespective of what a previous poster says. It does sound though that you are using a gmail account online via a web browser. Please confirm and fill in missing information.

my phone keeps freezing on settings, I cannot make or receive a call but everything else is working including internet and mail. where it should be showing the reception bars it is only showing a broken line. How do I resolve this?
If you are not showing reception bars, then I don't know how the data is working? Have you tried doing a reset? Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, check to see if it works. If that doesn't help, then try removing the SIM card, then reinserting it. If that doesn't help, then contact your carrier for assistance in calling.

I could not make or receive any calls using cellular network. But I could browse using 3G network. Same sim works fine in iPhone

My iPhone cannot make or receive calls. I tried installing iTunes order to sync everything and restore, but I am getting 0x ... 084 errors, and it won't work. I do not want to delete all of my contacts. Any advice would be appreciated.
Oh, and I can't hook up my iPhone to iTunes because it's locked with a passcode. I can't begin to type the passcode because of this stupid "Restore Needed - can't send or receive calls" thing. This is beyond silly.

To fix the 3G issue try the following:
Turn on airplane mode for about 10 seconds then back off.
Power off iPad then back on.

I'm sorry, but we had made so many changes (the Advisor and I) and it was only after I shared y home screen with him that he had me disable my anti-virus firewall....and everything worked fine afterwards. We went through a number of steps including removing a number of neighbors wifi signals and most important was the changing of the wifi channels.If anyone is using an Anti-virus program, I would suggest that they disable the firewall and then see if their devices connect to the same wifi.

Drag it to an external drive or directly to the other computer, and if needed, launch iTunes with the Option key held down and choose that library. If it contains rented movies, those won't play on the desktop Mac.

My iphone is showing the wrong time and date. All was well until sometime this afternoon when it changed... to Nov 5 (2 days prior to today), and about 9 hours and some minutes before the actual time. The world clock for my time zone shows the same wrong date and time. My calender shows the same wrong date and time. The phone can not find my time zone any more. The only fix I found was to turn off the automatic setting for time. What is happening? Ideas?

My source footage is 1920 X 1080 from a canon 60D. I changed my sequence settings to Digital SLR 1920 X 1080 to match. On the program window I have it set at "Fit". Only about a quarter of my footage now fits the program screen and looks to be the matching aspect ratio. The rest of the footage when on "fit" fills a tiny portion of the viewing window so it appears they don't match the sequence settings. I don't understand why this is happening because this footage is from the same camera, shot the same day, and have the same aspect ratios.
Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how I can fix it??First of all, the setting that you mention is on Fit is the Zoom Level of the Program Monitor. It controls only how the sequence is shown in that monitor; it has nothing to do with how any sources are handled in the sequence.

I was on line 4 hours last night. So far two hours tonight with the second iPad. This one downloaded quickly, when throught the entire upgrade, then at the end said there was an unknown error. I did what iTunes said to do and restored the iPad. It went through the restore and at the end said the restore failed. Then it said to restore again. I did....same problem
I'm experiencing the same problem.
Whenever the itunes usb lead screen disappears and the apple logo appears it fails to reboot.
It's getting power ok, it's just not doing anything.
If I can't get an answer here it's a visit to the apple shop tomorrow.
