    I am a very unhappy customer right now, and I can't seem to get anyone to fix my issue, even though it was Xfinity's fault to begin with. I was convinced to upgrade my account through an online chat on June 14, 2015.  I was told by the representative that I would be paying $89 a month, and I specifically asked if that would include the two set top boxes I currently had, as well as the wireless router and any additional fees.  The representative, Kristin, said that I would not be charged anything additional, and the $89/month would include EVERYTHING, all equipment and fees. When I looked at my bill today, it says that I am being charged $121 a month.  I got online and entered a chat with a representative, who told me that there was nothing they could do, and that I was being charged $89.99, plus $9.95 for a HD technology fee, plus $10 for the router, plus $12 for an Internet upgrade.  If I had know when I initially was offered the upgrade that I would be playing for all of these extras, I wouldn't have agreed to it.  I specifically asked if all of the equipment and fees were included, and I was told they were.  Today, the representative on the chat told me there's nothing he could do, so I asked to speak to a supervisor. The supervisor came on, looked up the previous chat where I had been promised the $89 a month all-in rate, and told me that the information I had been given was incorrect.  While I agree that might be true, I asked her why it was my fault that the previous representative had given me false information, and why I had to be penalized for it.  She told me there was nothing she could do to resolve the issue, and gave me a customer service number to call. After having been in an online chat for over two hours, the last thing I wanted to do was to sit on the phone trying to get this issue fixed.  But I called the number, spoke to another representative, and the only thing he was able to do was send an email to the supervisor of the orginial representative, as well as his supervisor, to try and get this issue resolved.  I told him the only thing I wanted was what I had been promised originally, which was $89 a month with all equipment and fees included. I fully expect a call very soon to resolve this issue.  I am fed up with Comcast.  I have had nothing but issues since the day I singed up with them, and my service isn't great.  I have to reset my set-top boxes almost every day, I get poor signal on the Internet, and I'm paying for a phone line that I don't even want.  And now, when I was promised one price, I'm getting charged another and no one will do anything about it. If this issue does not get resolved, I will be canceling all services, and telling everyone I know to never use Xfinity.  This has been the biggest hassle I have ever experienced with a cable provider.

  • HP Software finds the printer, but then "the printer was unable to be installed over the network"

    I have tried to search for a similar issue, but haven't had any success yet.  I doubt I'm the first with this problem!
    The computer is XP SP3, the printer is Deskjet 3050A, and it's a WPA-PSK WiFi.
    The printer confirms that it is connected to the WiFi.
    When I run the setup tool on the computer, at the Network Check point, the setup software finds the printer at the correct IP address.  It is the only thing it discovers.
    I click next, ànd after a minute or two, I get the error "the printer was unable to be installed over the wireless network"  Click Retry to try installing the printer over the network again, or click Cancel to return to the connection options.
    This just cycles with no progress.  I have turned off the Windows Firewall and also disabled the AV.  No change.
    I can browse to the web interface of the printer - but still can't install the printer.  It is listed in the Printers and Faxes as being Offline.
    I'll try once again removing it, and re-adding it - but has anyone come across this problem before, please?

    I am having a similar problem as well.  The printer is recognized (most of the time) when I run the HP Network DIagnostic Utility.  However, when I run the Add a Device setup program to install my wireless printer, it is NEVER recognized.  I have even tried to use the advvanced serach to locate it using the IP listed in the Diagnostic Utility without any luck.  As an aside, I was able to add the printer through windows just fine and am currently able to print to it, but would really like to add it using the HP installation so that I can configure the "scan to" settings again.
    To make matters worse, I no longer have the USB cord that came with the printer because the device has been connected wirelessly for over a year now with minimal issues.  Any help getting this brick back online and connected to my network would be much appreciated!

    I understand that you are trying to download applications from the App Store on your iPhone but cannot unless you download them using your cellular connection. In this situation, I would suggest the troubleshooting steps outlined in the attached article.     After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
    The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList.  Changing it to List resolved the problem.
    I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid.  And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger.  Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me.

  • Unable to add color over line art.

    I'm using CS2 and have the following issue. I've scanned some line art (white paper, black ink) into the computer and opened it up in PS. Some of the larger areas of black were spotty, so I went over them using PS black. Many layers above the background, I'm unable to mark anything over the initial line art. I'd like to add dots of white (stars in space) and I want to have a narrow border of green, with black on both sides. No luck with either.  I am working in the top layer, and none are locked. Am I missing something glaringly obvious?

    What is the mode and color depth of your file?
    What exact version of CS (Photoshop )?  What OS?
    Can you post a screen shot of the Image menu > Mode > ?  Ditto for your Layers panel.

        Press “Delete All” button under “Browsing Data and Settings”.
    2. Install Adobe Flash Player.

    Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).  If each of these has been tried and the issue still occurs, the only option left is to take to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement.
    Out of Warranty replacement is $199US.

  • Dns issues with one domain (Resolved)

    i'm currently having dns issues with one domain, in that it won't resolve when I use bt's dns servers.
    The domain is owned by a friend in the US who runs his own server for irc, web, and I also have a server that is on his connection, and resolves fine from other machines on different networks, and also resolves fine when I set windows to use the opendns servers, but when it's set to either my routers ip (using bt's dns), or set to automatic (using bt's dns via the homehub), this one domain will not resolve.
    I'm pretty certain it's not a windows issue, as it's a clean install of windows 7 that I did yesterday. I've tried rebooting the homehub, and also flushing my dns on windows, but this has not solved the issue.
    As I say, it resolves fine on other networks, and also when I use the opendns servers, so I know it's definately a dns issue.
    Using bt's dns servers:

Preferably without having to phone the helpdesk...lets just say i've done it in the past, and according to the poeple I spoke to in india, I knew nothing about my own systems, and it was a problem at my end...which was not the case, and I proved this several times.
    Edit: This issue appears to have resolved itself, and the domain is now resolving again using the homehub for dns resolution.

    When NSLOOKUP starts, before anything else, it checks the computer's network configuration to determine the IP address of the DNS server that the computer uses.
    Then it does a reverse DNS lookup on that IP address to determine the name of the DNS server.
    If reverse DNS for that IP address is not setup correctly, then NSLOOKUP cannot determine the name associated with the IP address.

    In order to do the customizing tasks of the proportinate consolidation,
    we have followed the help steps of "Customizing for Proportionate
    Consolidation (Standard Delivery) / Payables-Receivables Elim.; Minimum
    Procedure (1) (Task 7612)"
    And we found a customizing issue in the fast entry of the estep 002 of
    the method 76120.
    We can not add the "Trading partner" in the condition area.
    We have check out the customizing of the related layout and it looks right.
    How can we add this characteristic? What do I have to change to add it?

    Hello all,
    I would like to know if someone uses the new functionality of proportionate consolidation.
    I need to use the proportionate consolidation for some companies that are held by 50%.
    I studied the SAP solutions and found out that before SEM ver. 6 there were 2 reclassifications: one that cuts off 50% of the amounts of proportionately consolidated company and the second one checks every I/C item that uses a proportionately consolidated company as a Trading partner and reclassifies 50% to predefined item (third parties). So, when you execute I/U Elimination, there are only 50% at each side and they are fully eliminated.
    Simple example:
    Company 1000 - fully consolidated
    Company 1300 - proportionately consolidated
    I/U receivables item in company 1000 with trading partner 1300 1,000 USD
    I/U payables item in company 1300 with trading partner 1000 (1,000) USD
    After first reclass. :
    I/U payables item in company 1300 with trading partner 1000 (500) USD
    Clearing item for proportionate consolidation (balance sheet) (500) USD
    After second reclass.:
    I/U receivables item in company 1000 with trading partner 1300 500 USD
    Third parties receivables 500 USD
    Before I/U Elimination:
    I/U payables item in company 1300 with trading partner 1000 (500) USD
    I/U receivables item in company 1000 with trading partner 1300 500 USD
    After I/U Elimination:
    I/U payables item in company 1300 with trading partner 1000 (0) USD
    I/U receivables item in company 1000 with trading partner 1300 0 USD
    The innovation that SAP suggests nowadays is a new Application for Document types that you use for the first reclassification (Reclassification: Apportionment of standardized financial data )based on statistical items that determine the holdings share. Afterwards you execute the I/U Elimination and after it you execute reclass (Reclassifications: Two-sided eliminations)
    I don't see an advantage* of using this new solution in a case there is 50% holding share. I think that the first solution was more simple. The new solution can easily deal with percentage share other than 50% (for example, in case there is 60% proportionate consolidation). If there is 50% you need to update the statistical items.
    Does anyone think differently? Did someone implemented the proportionate consolidation?
    I would appreciate to get any kind of advice.

    I appreciate Lilia for posting challenging question , which hardly happens in this forum.
    Although I used purchase method, I havenu2019t had opportunity to use proportionate consolidation method (as there was no need in all of my projects). However after going through the new stuff available in SEM 6.0, I think you are right in your conclusions (....earlier reclassifications more simpler and suitable when proportionate share is 50%....)
    New innovative way seems to be more technically advanced (unlike in earlier versions proportionate share is maintained at customization level) as it makes use of document type and statistical items to record initial proportionate share as well as subsequent changes.
    By the way which version do you use?

    the main difference or advantage is that oen consolidation unit could be proportionally consolidated in several groups and method changes are allowed. Beside that, the new consolidation is quite complex.
    CU are porportionally consolidated and fully eliminated (afterwards other reclassification correct that effect).
    The old recl. workaround was useful only if a CU was proportioanlly consolidated only once.
    I am trying to use this new feature (I have follow exactly the standar delivery example but still have problems).
