Aging Report and Statement of Account in System Currency

Hi Experts,
We have set up a Business Partner to have Multi Currency.
All billing is in USD but payment could be in USD or Local currency
Additional set up:
Local Currency (JPY)
System Currency (USD)
We notice that if we set up BP as a multicurrreny Customer, SAP B1 aging amount is in local currency
Question:
Can we change the standard aging report of SAP B1 2005B in order to have anount in system currency?.
Thanks in advance,
Best Regards,
Amy

Hi Amy .
is the the system currency same as the local currency.?
I think it would be in system currency .

  • Aging report and Control account value not matching

    Hi All
The value what i am getting from   Vendor liabilities aging and Control account is not matching  for the same dates, all my parameters or selection criteria are same
Same report if i am taking for the current date it giving correctly,
If i am trying for a previous day the problem is happening
How can i solve this issue

    Hi,
Please check if the transactions are done for different Control Accounts and both the account balances are included in the Aging Report.
Also, check that ALL the customers/vendor groups are taken.
Make sure that you are running the backdated aging with the checkbox as mentioned in the Note 800294.
If still facing problems may be you can provide with more details as to what the control account balances and what is the Aging, difference.
PS: Check if there is any manual journal entry is created in the control account?
    Kind Regards,

    Hi Hector,
You may check if the problem resolved in B1 8.8 SP 00 PL13.
    It is probably PL issue.

  • Discrepancy between Aging Report and JE

The invoice is at USD 22,871.20 and in local currency KES 1,975,745.98.
The figure showing in the BP aging in local currency is KES 1,979,120.41 yet if I check through the JE, TB and GL the figure is different.
An invoice has been raised in BP currency (USD). The invoice is at USD 22,871.20 and in local currency KES 1,975,745.98.
Any reason to why this could be so???
    See attached.

    Hi,
Because your BP currency is USD, you may only get aging based on USD. If you want to know LC aging, it is calculated result by the system exchange rate for info only.

  • Business Partner Detailed Aging Report and ORCT CounterRef

    Hi Experts!
I would like to add a field onto my Aging Report.  I would like the field to be the CounterRef field found in the ORCT table.
Is there a way to do this please?
Look forward to hearing from you!
    Many thanks,
    Caroline

    Hi Caroline,
Aging report is one of the hard coded report that you don't have option to add any fields.  You need your own report by report tool such as CR.
    Thanks,

  • Calculate depreciation and generate Assets History Sheet / system currency?

Hi, I want to know if I can calculate the depreciation and generate Assets History Sheet in system currency which is different of local currency. in fact the amount of depreciation calculated in TND and converted in euro is different of the amount calculate directly in euro.
    Example:
    01/01/2009 (rate EURO/TND = 1,27 )
    Acquisition cost: 1000 euro = 1270 TND
    Percentage of depreciation   10%
If I calculate the depreciation in TND and convert it in euro the amount is equal to 1270*10%/1,7(rate EURO/TND at 31/12/2009)= 74 euro
otherwise if I calculate the depreciation directly in euro the amount is equal to 1000 *10%=100 euro
    Thanks.

    Hi Mohamed,
If the asset is acquired with foreign currency, it will be booked with both local and foreign currency in accounting, but the asset values and depreciation will be always converted and calculated with local currency.
How ever per your scenario, you can implement the report this way:
1.You can get the planed and posted deprecaiotn value in local currency (TND) by depreciation area, period and asset number in table @BA_ODPV
      - Depr value for 2009 = 1270 * 10% = 127 TND
      - Depr value per month = 127 / 12 = 10.58 TND
2.Convert the depreciation value into sysetm currency (EURO) with the exchange rate on acuqistion day (01/01/2009 (rate EURO/TND = 1,27 )), thus you need to retrieve the exchange rate on 01/01/2009 from table ORTT
      - Depr value for 2009 = 127 TND, you can easily get this with SQL
      - Depr value for 2009 = 127 / 1.27 EURO = 100 EURO  (01/01/2009 (rate EURO/TND = 1,27)
SQL for report (You may set the ratedate and fiscal year as parameter):
--Retrieve the exchange rate from ORTT by date and currency
    declare @rate as float
select @rate = Rate from ortt where RateDate = convert(datetime,'20090101',112) and Currency = 'USD'
--Sum up the depreciation value grouped by asset number and filerd with fiscal year and depreciaiton area
--Report: Asset Numer, Fiscal Year, Planed Depr., Posted Depr.
select U_AsstNum as 'Asset Number',U_FisYear as 'Fiscal Year',sum(U_OrDpPlan)/@rate as 'Planed Depr.', sum(U_OrDpAct)/@rate as 'Posted Depr.' from [@ba_odpv]
    where U_FisYear = '2009' and U_DprArID = 100
    group by U_AsstNum,U_FisYear
    3.Display the report with PLD
    Hope it helps. Thanks.

  • Aging Report does not match Balance Sheet Receivables/Payables Account

    Hi experts,
I am requesting your help to find out why our customer receivables/vendor payables aging reports total does not match our balance sheet accounts receivable/ accounts payable account for the same period.
    I would expect
Customer Receivables Aging Report Total = Balance Sheet Accounts Receivables Account
Vendor Aging Report Total = Balance Sheet  Accounts Payables Account
    Thank you.
    Jane

When you run the report with an ending/aging date in the past (like the end of last month), if you do not display BP's with zero balances, it will leave out BP's who have a zero balance AT THE TIME YOU RUN THE REPORT.  Some of them may have had a non-zero balance at the end of the month, but they will be left off anyway.  So if a customer owed money on the last day of the month and he paid it on the first of the next month, his balance will not be shown on the report if you run it even one day later.
I feel this is a design defect in the report, but it is the system behavior.

  • Customer Aging Report totals and detail is different

    Hi Experts,
I have a customer aging report and i find something odd with the total column in local currency and System Currency.
    for Example :
    Customer _______Total_______Future Remit_______0-30________31-60________61-90________90+
    ____A100   _______1000_____________ 300________200_________100__________200_________300
Total Column doesn't show the correct value.
    It should be 300200100200300 = 1100 and it's only show 1000
and if i click at the row number to show the details, the total on the detail form shows the correct value
It is not happening in FC currency
    Anyone has any idea?
    Regards,
    David

    Hi,
I'm using SBO 2005A PL 46, the BP currency is USD and the Local Curr is IDR.

  • Customer/Supplier Ageing Screens and Reports

    Hi
We have a request for change in the Customers/Suppliers Ageing screens and reports.
Our clients require the appropriate transaction date field to be available on the detailed screen and the detailed report and statement.
eg. If they are ageing by document date - they need to see the document date against each transaction and it is very important that the reports have it.
We have more than one case where this has been requested.  It is quite usual and an expected piece of information for credit control operators.
    Thanks

    Hi Adrian
Would the XLR you have produced solve  the following problem I have.
When producing an ageing report the value date used is not the due date of the document but the due date using the BP's terms.
I've tried to create an XLR but cannot resolve the fact that items reconciled after my ageing date are excluded.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Invoice Date on Aging Report (system)

The canned aging reports do not provide Document Date.  It does provide the Invoice or Credit Memo Document Number, we need it to pull the date of these documents as well.  Every customer of ours is seeking the same information on the aging reports and as of now, there is not a way to deliver same.

No,You can't display date in supplier aging report.
But as workaround you can append date
at end of  vendor reference number in ap invoice
and it will show it in supplier aging expanded report.

  • SAP Query for AR Aging Report

    Hello Gurus-
I am trying to build a query for Aging report, and would like to include something like this:
    Customer-Reference-Payment terms-Due date-Current-31-60days-61-90days-91-120days-over120days-toatal amount.
I have an infoset which includes BSID, KNA1, KNB1. I have maintained local fields:
Due Date  =     Baseline date + cash discount days
Statement Date = My input date.
Current    = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
    31 - 60 Days = Condition (DUEDTE >= STATDTE - 60 AND DUEDTE < STATDTE - 30) formula (Amount)
    61 - 90 Days = similar to above
    91 - 120 Days = similar to above
Amount  = - 1 * (If Debit credit indicator = "H" then "Amount in local currency") otherwise "Amt in Loc.Cur"
Over 120 Days = similar to above
When I enter a statement date of today it works hunky dory...it all looks good...my current column looks good and do the rest. When i want to run this query as of couple of months ago (if today is 12/19/08 and i wanted to run my aging report for 10/31/08) it should give me aging as of my statement date 10/31/08 but it does not. It calculates the total amount as of today. I know because of local field "Amount" where i gave amount in local currency, but how would I tell that it should pick up amount in local currency till the statement date?
Any input in this regards is highly helpful.
    Thanks,
    RNarayan

    Hi Ram,
On your aging report you want to see invoices which are still not paid (or still open) as of a certain date. This date is "key date". You need to define a variable for key date (which is normally system date if you run today) but it could be a past date.
So key date is let us say Oct 31st (X) and the system date is Dec 19th. When you run the report as of Oct 31st all invoices that are posted prior to Oct 31st (posting date less than X) and are still in BSID will show on your report. There is no issue here.
Let us say an invoice was created on Oct 25th (Y) and was paid on Nov 15th (Z). The clearing date is Z. That means if you run the aging report today this invoice will not show.
But you want to run the report on Oct 31st. This means X is greater than Y but is less than Z.
Clearing date and posting date are part of BSAD. Report run date is the user input and is a variable.
With the above concept and with the help of an ABAP programmer you should be able to solve the problem.
    Regards
    Sharabh

  • AR aging report does not print alphabetically by customer name in 8.8

AR aging report does not print alphabetically by customer name in version 8.8.
It is possible to create a custom layout for the receivables aging summary report (to print alphabetically by BP name) to overcome this problem. However, itu2019s not possible for the u201Cdetailed receivables aging reportu201D or u201Ccustomer statement reportu201D.
Why has SAP changed this functionality? In version 2007 SAP takes the order of the rows set on the screen unless other order is specified in the layout.
How can we make the u201Cdetailed receivables aging reportu201D and u201Ccustomer statement reportu201D print alphabetically by customer name?
    Steps to reproduce:
Business partners > Business partner reports > Aging > customer receivables aging
Doubleclick on customer name to sort it in alphabetical order.
Click on preview and select u201Creceivables aging summary reportu201D.
The system layouts do not print by customer name in alphabetical order.
Click on preview and select u201Cdetailed receivables aging reportu201D. The system layouts do not print by customer name in alphabetical order.
Also, customer statement report does not print by customer name in alphabetical order.
In SAP 2007 versions, when a marketing document or aging report is printed, SAP takes the order of the rows set on the screen unless other order is specified in the layout.
In SAP 8.8 although it works the same way for marketing documents, it doesnu2019t work like this for Aging reports.
I was able to change the order for the u201CReceivables Aging Summary Reportu201D only.  We cannot overwrite a System report, I had to create a new layout called:  u201CBusiness Partner Aging (Summary) (Alphabetically Sorted)u201D.
I couldnu2019t set up the order based on BP Name for the other 2 options: Detailed Receivables Aging Report and Customer Statement Report (One page per Customer).
Iu2019ve checked print settings and properties, and I donu2019t see any way of changing the default order for these reports.

Reported it to SAP support + they plan to fix it in a future patch.
