Alerts Issue

Hi Team
After configuring the Alert Category in "ALRTCATDEF", and then moving to Runtime Work Bench to define the Alert Rule, the Tabs"Alert Rule" and "Change Rule" are in disabled mode, only "Reset Input Fileds" is in enabled mode. i am unbale to add the "alert rule"
please help me out

Hi,
  To add an alert rule, you will first have to select the Alert category.
In your Alert Configuration page, click on UPDATE TABLE. Then, click on the SQUARE button on the left of your ALERT CATEGORY.
After you select the Alert Category, the ADD RULE button will get anabled.
Check XIRWBUSER Roles are below;
SAP_BC_BASIS_ADMIN
SAP_BC_BASIS_MONITORING
SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER
SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN
Also it may be due to browser privacy and security issue.
Go to Privacy in ur browser and set accept all cookies....

  • Iphone 4s calendar alert issue

    I tend to put 2 alerts on my calendar events, one for 1 day before and the second one for 1 hour before (or some other on the day of event).  I have noticed that when I put in the first alert for 1 day before and then enter the second alert for 1 hour before and click done they have somehow been reversed, the first alert is now 1 hour before and the second alert is 1 day before.  I have to click them again and change them to the proper order, this usually take about 3 tries to get them to stay as I want them.  I can them save the event and all is good.  I was at the Apple store and the staff duplicated this issue so I know I'm not the only one experiencing this nuissance.  Has anyone else come across this?  I do hope the upcoming update will fix it.

    Update since Genius visit:
    1) Apple is working on an update
    2) There is no awareness at Apple of this calendar alert issue as a bug, hence it is not being addressed/worked on
    3) Solutions offered by Genius have not resolved this issue.
    Solutions offered by Genius, in order of which to try first:
    1) Delete calendar data from iPhone: Settings>iCloud>Calendars OFF and then restore data from iCloud: Calendars ON
    2) Reset iPhone settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings
    3) Restore to factory settings: Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings, then restore data from iCloud and in-app backups.
    4) Use another calendar app (seriously)
    Of course, if the bug is actually part of the iOS software (could it be?) then no amount of erasing and restoring data will fix the issue.  I completed the first two options with no change, and am not willing to do the third option because I am not interested in going through the process of backing up, then restoring all my third-party apps.
    My solution: raise awareness of this issue with Apple, so that it can be worked on and fixed.   I have reported it as a bug through Apple's feedback module: http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html and I encourage-- no, ask-- you to do the same, if you are experiencing this issue.  I provided a link to this forum topic to show the variety and detail of problems.
    Are you sick of missing alerts, fiddling endlessly, coming up with workarounds, paying for unreliable software, and not being responded to?  I am.  It's time to rally!

  • Alert issue in oracle EBS

    I have a test instance with EBS:12.0.6,Oracle DB :10.2.0.4 and RHEL:4
    I am facing a alert issue in Purchasing as follows:
    It throws following error: APP-FND- 01874:Please link in Oracle Alert program library.
    I had a metalink id 211089.1 addressing the same error but it is for 11.5.10.2 EBS
    Please help with to resolve this issue at the earliest.

    How do you get the error?
    Can you find any errors in the workflow log file?
    The steps in the doc should be applicable (except for the last step), so you may try the same solution and check then.

  • Summary Alert Issues - Summary Alert Being Sent Out as Multiple Emails

    I'm sure many of you have seen the various posts online about Summary Alerts that are supposed to show changes over the last 24hrs in a single email being sent out as either multiple emails containing a random number of items per email, or individual emails
    for each item that was updated. The question I have is... Has this issue been resolved with SP2 or any of the Post-SP CUs?
    One of my users mentioned that the August 2014 CU was supposed to have a fix for this issue, but I am unable to find any documentation specifically mentioning alert handling or the Summary Alert issue mentioned above. 
    Current Environment is SP1 + Aug 2013 CU (We're a tad behind -- but I'm working on that)
    Any information would be helpful.

    Hi,
    I suggest you to delete the existing Rule and setup a New Rule.
    I have tested this on my lab and it works fine.

  • Calendar alert issue

    Hi all,
    I've got a minor annoying issue. My wife (iPhone 4 with iOS6) and I (iPhone 5 wiht iOS6) share an apple account. On iCloud, we've got two calendars. The first is called "Calendar" which is there for us to put all of our general home stuff (birthdays, vacations, appts, etc) and is intended for both of us to use. I've got a second calendar called "Dan" which is just for me with a bunch of stuff she doesn't care about.
    Here's the issue. In Calendar, she clicked "Calendars" and deselected the "Dan" under "iCloud Calendars". The only other calendar her Calendar app now shows is our default shared calendar. So, anything I put on the "Dan" calendar no longer shows up... yay! HOWEVER, alerts from my "Dan" calendar still appear on her phone. In other words, if I put an event called "test" on JUST my "Dan" calendar with an alert to go off at 1:00, at that time, BOTH of our phones go off and display alerts. The Event still doesn't show up in her calendar though.
    SO, my question is, how can she make it so alerts from "Dan" calendar don't show up on her phone? It's annoying for her, and not cool for me if I want to put in an event that she shouldn't know about.

  • SharePoint 2010 Blog Email Alert Issue

    I can't seem to make heads or tails of this issue. Any insight would be appreciated.
    When a user updates an existing blog post - for example to fix a typo - all users who have elected to receive alerts do, however the body of the content is displayed with strikethroughs. Either all of the content or the title and first few sentences
    - even if the change(s) made are not in the first few sentence. Here's is an example of the alert email i received. I changed two words to TYPO and this is how the alert was returned to me:

    I'm trying to determine why is shows the strikethrough. I've tested this a million ways - versioning on/off, content approval on/off, etc. and again sometimes when i receive the
    emails, everything in the body will have a strikethrough, and it just doesn't make sense to me.
    I know we can customize the alert notification, but i'd hate to have to do that given this appears to behave more like a bug.
    Has anyone else come across this, and other than customizing alerts, is there a away to either remove the strikethrough or fix it so that it actually only displays a strikethrough
    on items that have changed?

    Edit - it didn't come across when i submitted but the light gray text has the strikethrough it in on my alert email.

    Here's the solution we were given by MS:
    Problem:
    You were intermittently getting strike on the text which you receive in email notification sometimes the strikes are on edited text sometimes they are on newly added text
    for the site
    Cause:
    Microsoft SharePoint Foundation includes a set of predefined alert templates. These alert templates are stored in the Alerttemplates.xml file, which is located in the %ProgramFiles%\Common
    Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\14\TEMPLATE\XML folder. Alerttemplates.xml defines the format, contents, filters, event types and properties used to create alert messages from each list type. A developer can customize alerts by modifying a copy
    of the Alerttemplates.xml file and then loading the customized alert templates by using the command stsadm -o updatealerttemplates.
    Resolution/Workaround:
    Take a copy of alerttemplates.xml; look into: Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\12\TEMPLATE\XML
    Replace all entries you find with <Limit Len="255" to 512
    Be sure that you have a new filename!
    run stsadm -o updatealerttemplates -url
    http://SharePointName -filename YourFilename
    Restart OWSTIMER; the SharePoint timer service in service manager

  • BPM alert issue

    Hi,
    i created bpm with block step in that i was used deadline exception branch, while testing the message was processed successfully but message also going to excetion and deadline branch and creating alerts.(but there no exception found).i gave the deadline branch processing time is 2 mins and i created alert in exception branch but getting any error its going to exceptio branch.please can anyone help in the issue.

    as already explained via another communication channel I think the collector is working perfectly fine. Be aware that, like most other Procurement collectors, we are checking on line item level and not only on document level. As your example shows ONLY line item 20 is created without PR reference. But your screenshot of the document itself shows line item 10 which is created with a PR reference and hence was not in our output list. Also a look in table EKPO shows that one item was created with reference and the other wasnu2019t.

  • BPM Alert Issue - P.O Created withour ref to Purch Req

    Hi,
    Has anyone else had any issues with the BPM alert "P.o's created without ref to a P.O";? It seems to be reporting incorrectly - it gives us sometimes P.O that were in fact created with ref to a purch req.
    I've raised an OSS for this with Sap - although I'm still awaiting a response...Has anyone had the same issue described above?

    DISPLAY_ITEM ('TR.TR_WORKED_DATE', 'CG$RED');Here in this code DISPLAY_ITEM it seems your form/library procedure. Check the code inside that procedure. And what is this CG$RED visual attribute or something else??

  • System Audio Alerts Issue

    Hi people:
    I have a very strange issue here. What happens is that alert sounds are gone! Everything sounds as normal except for the alert sound, not even the "empty trash" action or clicking directly in the sound you want in preferences work. I have already checked the "play user interface sound effects" option but nothing.
    Please, this is very very annoying and it seems that in the internet there is nearly no information.
    Is someone having this issue? Does someone know about this or how to fix it?

    Install the v10.6.2 Combo Update
    It's ok to do this even if you are already running v10.6.2. The update includes fixes that may help.
    Then repair disk permissions.
    Quit any open applications/programs. Launch Disk Utility. (Applications/Utilities) Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left, select the FirstAid tab. Click: Repair Disk Permissions. When it's finished from the Menu Bar, Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac. If you see a long list of "messages" in the permissions window, it's ok. That can be ignored. As long as you see, "Permissions Repair Complete" when it's finished... you're done. Quit Disk Utility and restart your Mac.

    While trying to troubleshoot mail alerts not receiving from DFM, i got the below error on both LMS and SMTP Server.
    On SMTP server
    250 HM02SQL01.test.com Hello [x.x.x.x]

    250 2.1.0 [email protected]...Sender OK
    rcpt to:[email protected]
    550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [email protected]
    On Prime - SMTP log
    Exception:  You have entered an invalid mail address. (550 5.7.1 Unable to relay for [email protected])
    I am not recieving any alerts from LMS. What could be the issue..?

    Seems your Exchange mail server is not properly configured to relay messages.
    If you are using windows AD check this :
    Exchange 2003:
    Open the Exchange System Manager
    Go in Administrative Groups -> Administrative group name -> Server -> Server name -> Protocols -> SMTP
    Right click on Default SMTP Virtual Server -> properties
    Access tab -> Relay button
    Select "only the list bellow" and add your domain and\or IPs you do want to allow the relay.
    Check the "Allow all computers which successfully authenticate to relay, regardless of the list above" checkbox.
    Exchange 2007:
    For Exchange 2007, create a second receive connector for external addresses as described in How to Set Up SMTP Relay in Exchange 2007.
    Check Microsoft's Exchange Archive as well.

    I am facing the same problem.
    I am using Windows 8, IE 10. I need to click F12, to change the Browser Mode to IE 7 to open BAM application. Everything works fine until I came to set Alter the exactly same location. I am getting the same error.
    I installed IE tab for FireFox. Now I am able to open BAM applicaiton FireFox, but getting the same error at the same place.

  • Email Vibration Alert Issue

    I have a weird issue with notification vibrations. I have the vibration alerts for both messages and email set to their default settings, basically, one vibration for email and two for messages. When the phone comes up from a fresh reboot both vibration alerts work as expected (one vibration for email and two for messages). However, as soon as I receive a message, the email vibration alert seems to mimic the messages vibration (I.E. when I get an email, I get two vibrations as if I received a message). I'm not sure what is causing this. I've even gone as far as setting a custom vibration alert for email with one vibration, yet as soon as an email comes in, it vibrates twice like a received a message. Has anyone experienced this before?
    This started since I first got the iphone 6. I was hoping a software update would fix this issue, yet after each update, the issue remains.

  • Alert issues - alerts keep switching

    I like to set two alerts for most of my iCal events, one a day before or a few hours before, and the second an hour before or at the time of the event. What I am experiencing is that the alerts automatically switch places so, for example, I set a 2 hour alert as my first alert for a doctor appointment and a 1 hour alert for the second alert. Almost immediately, the 1 hour alert appears as the first alert and the 2 hour alert appears as the second.  It is so frustrating! I have to go in every day and manually switch the alerts over and over and over again until they finally stay in the correct place. And even then, for alerts that repeat daily or weekly, I often discover that it reverts again for any of those future alerts. What is the deal? How can I set my alerts for the times I want them to be and have them stay rather than flip around?

    That isn't what I understood your decription of the issue to be. After re-reading your original post, I see I was mistaken (I think).
    Try a rest: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the iPad shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the iPad back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
    Also - do you have a default alert time set? Should only apply to the First alert, and I wouldn't think it would impact this issue, but you might want to check.
