Integration between case management and C-folder
Dear Experts ,
Can you help regarding integration between Case Managment and C-folder ???
Kind RegardsHi,
Simple answer: There is no specific integration existing.
Case Management is using DMS as one option to save documents like Word, Excel.
The cFolders solution is normally on a separate server and DMS documents can be checked out from the content server to cFolders and vice versa in SAP standard.
I have experience from both solutions and I really don't see how these two solutions should be linked to each other from a business perspective.

Regd : Integration Between Portal Layer And Process Layer
Hi Experts,
I have a query regarding the integration between Portal layer and the process layer in CE. How does the interaction happens or what is the process behind the integration of these two layers. I was going through some help documents at help.sap.com.
But from there I could not get much of information. So need your inputs on the same.
Thanks
Pradipta Kumar MishraHi Pradipta,
If you are referring to Guided Procedures as the "Process Layer", then you have one of the three options that I can think of:
1) Deliver the GP processes via UWL in CE Portal
2) Deliver the GP processes via UWL in EP (if your organization has one)
3) Delvier the GP processes via GP Runtime in CE Portal
Of the three mentioned above, option 2 is preferred since your business users get to access their tasks via a single interface. But you need a EP. If that's not the case, I would suggest Option 1. For integrating GP and UWL, please refer to following link.

Integration between Soluiotn Manager and HP Quality Center
Hi Folks,
I am currently configuring the integration between Solution Manager and HP Quality Center, and during the set up of communication user, I get the following error:
User hpqc_comm is not authorized to access projects
Message no. QC_INTEGRATION016
Diagnosis
You want to access projects in the Quality Center with the communication user hpqc_comm. This causes an error because the user either does not exist in the Quality Center or is not assigned to any project.
Procedure
Check whether the user hpqc_comm is in the Quality Center, and whether it is assigned to at least one project. Ask the Quality Center administrator to create the user and assign it to projects, if necessary.
You can use another user for the communication
Well, I have created that user in HPQC and assigned it to projects.
Thanks for your help
Marcothe error is in Solution Manager. I am defining the communication parameters in SOLAR_PROJECT_ADMIN / <selected project> / edit / Connection to HP Quality Center. I choose the corresponding project in Quality Center, but when I validate the screen, I get the error I mentioned before, even though the communication user exists in HPQC and is assigned to that specific project.
Thanks for your reply.

HI Manoja,
a) Integration between Sales Order and Inventory module.
While creating sales order due to Strategy group in MRP3 view of material master does an availability check and determines the first date of availability.
b)Integration between delivery and Inventory module.
At the time of PGI (Goods issue)
Cost of Goods Sold is debited due to configuration in OBYC GBB T-Key To Inventory Account
c)Integration between Invoice and FI module.
In account assignment(that reminds me of your previous que CONDITION TECHNIQUE is used for Account Determination as well)
Tcode VKOA
Also when Billing document is released to Accounting
Customer Account is debited for the amount in Invoice.
and credited to Sales Revenue Account
Hope this clarifies to some extent
Post for further clarification

Integration between Custom list and task list
Is it advisable to provide solutions for the integration between custom list and tasks list in SharePoint?
I am working on a scenario where the data has to be segregated between multiple lists and there will be transactions among these lists using workflow. Some of the capabilities in Tasks list like due date notifications, calendar, tracking are needed
on the transaction. Since these lists are based out of different content types, is it advisable to choose these lists for solutions?
When we have to make few updates through workflow from custom list to tasks, will there be any problem in the transactions as it is two different content type?
Vijayaragavan, MCTSSince SPLists and SharePoint workflows don't provide inherent
support for transactions, you have to handle rollback operations yourself.
The easiest way to simulate a transaction is to read in the state of any list item you are changing prior to executing an update, and then write that state back should you detect a failure. It's not a perfect solution, since a sufficiently severe error might
prevent your rollback updates as well. That's the price you pay for not having the data store support transactions.
That being said, while it's true many clients will ask for business critical data to be stored in SPLists, I would argue that it's your job to convince them that it's not a good idea, and that transactional databases accessed over webservices are a much safer
SP compatible way to store important data - from

Stop the Sales Orders flow between R/3 and CRM systems.
Hello Experts,
I am facing one middleware related issue.
I am creating a quotation and Order in Crm system an those are replicated to R/3.
But I am creating some orders in r/3 and those are alos replicating to CRM, I want to stop the flow of Orders between R/3 and CRM.
Please let me know where I have to do the changes.
ThanksHi,
What Debolina suggests would stop flow of Orders from CRM to R3.
But what i learn from your post is :
you wanna stop Orders flowing from R3 to CRM.
If m coorect in above, then teh solution for you is different:
You have to filter out the orders.
Goto: R3AC1
Select object : SALESDOCUMENT
Goto Filters tab and set the filter as desired.
This would stop the flow of Orders from R3 to CRM
Kindly reward with points in case helpful

Difference between SAP MI and CRM Mobile Sales
hi experts,
we need to understand difference between SAP MI and CRM mobiles sales solutions. what are SAP's recommendations: where to use MI and where to use Mobile sales.
can some of you explain the pros and cons of each solution or let me know the place where i get such info.
thanks in advance.
RHSAP MI apps are aimed at PDAs while CRM Mobile Sales is aimed (and can only work with) at laptops.
PDA solutions are mostly used by sales agents while the laptop solution is more suitable to account managers. The laptop has much more information available that includes:
- Marketing planning and execution capabilities
- Account Planning
- BW Reporting
Mobile Sales for PDAs has more basic functionalities like order & activity management and business partner data maintenance (which are also included in the laptop version).

This is fully covered in the documentation:
About Database Applications
About Websheet Applications
About Packaged Applications
There is little difference between packaged applications and database applications, other than that packaged applications are supplied by Oracle and database applications are created by you. -

Oracle ERP and CRM Application Architecture Direction
Not sure if this is out of topic for this forum but it seemed the closest I could find. If it is out of topic could someone please point me in the right direction?
Im looking for the architectural direction Oracle is taking for their ERP and CRM applications. Specifically as Oracle moves their applications to the Oracle 9iAS application server will Oracle be changing their application architecture to a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) as other ERP and CRM vendors are? If not what architecture will the Oracle applications follow?
