APP issue SOS
Hi Guys
While runnning the APP sometimes in cheques payments although the payment document has been posted the check register is not getting updated. Sometimes out of 100 payments, some, say 10 cheque payments are not getting updated. As a result of this the payment extracted file which are uploaded on partner Bank sites for further process gets rejected and then you have to void all the cheques that have been updated in the payment run reverse all the payment documents rerun the entire process again and hope it will not repeat. The print out program does not work for updating the cheque register if any cheque have been updated in the payment run and throws errors saying payment docs already exist.
Would appreciate some help. Thanks in advance.
The chances of void cheques is not there because till date I have not voided any unused check and used cheques once voided are not used again. In certain cases once the payment run is made the cheque register get's updated in totality and in some cases it does not update the last few payment docs.

According to your post, my understanding is that you failed to open Microsoft documents in SharePoint 2013.
I recommend to Run the following PowerShell in OWA Server :
Remove-OfficeWebAppsHost # To Remove any restriction
Or
New-OfficeWebAppsHost -Domain <String> # To allow specific domain Name
In addition, you can allow OAuth via HTTP using the following commands:
$config = (Get-SPSecurityTokenServiceConfig)
$config.AllowOAuthOverHttp = $true
$config.Update()

Keynote remote will not pair with ipad after update to 10.7.2-bluetooth issue or remote app issue?
Noticed keynote remote will not pair after updating. Bluetooth light flashes a couple of times then goes off. I'm wondering if it's a bluetooth issue or a keynote remote app issue.

I've tried all the things recommended in the Apple KB article, and it doesn't work. Mulderscully is right, in the recent iOS 5 upgrade, Bluetooth is not turned on (at least, its symbol is not visible) from within Keynote even if you turned it on in the Settings menu. Posts in another thread recommended using another app to establish a Bluetooth connection between the iPad and iPod (I used Touch Rummy), then switching back to Keynote and Keynote Remote. This does work for me, but it is an awkward workaround. Shouldn't 'It just work'? -

This is more of a Mail app issue, and I've posted the question on that board, but I thought I'd post it here because I'm hoping some admins might have dealt with a similar issues:
Is anyone having success with clients on Network Homes using Leopard's Mail.app and an IMAP server?
Things used to work on the same client machines under Tiger, but after upgrading them to Leopard, Mail.app flat out refuses to work.
Users with portable homes seem to have better luck.
Some symptoms:
after working fine for 15-20 seconds, preview pane gets stuck on a "Loading" message. Double-clicking the same email opens it just fine in a separate window.
auto-fill of addresses in the To: field doesn't work. (The little circle on the right just keeps spinning.)
Mail.app does not pull any new incoming messages.
Mail.app refuses to quit cleanly. Force-quitting is the only way to make it quit
Mail.app randomly needs to "Quit or Quit and Rebuild" the database.

If you are DPS single edition user, then you need to enter serial number to activate app.
But it would be more helpful if you let us know which DPS edition you have?

The farm is having 2 WFE. There is NLB setting up for them.
AAM has been set to Default.
OWA binding set to -AllowHttp, zone set to internal-http. AllowOAuthOverHttp set to true.
The strange thing is when days ago we finish the installation, we try the link http://{server_name}/somefolder/document.docx to do the test, it works fine.
But today we try the link http://{NLB_link}/somefolder/documnet.docx, above error occur.
We are not sure whether AAM setting cause this issue or some other reaone. But even we remove the AAM to use the Server Name in link, still above issue.
Any idea/comments would be appriciated.What is the default AAM? Is it the server_name, or the NLB_Link? Might want to try having the NLB_Link as the primary (default) AAM if you haven't already?

Ive got an issue where Office Web Apps has stopped working if you access Sharepoint via the external url of the Sharepoint site, it works fine internally and externally from Exchange and also internally from Sharepoint.
As soon as i browse to the external url it fails with "Sorry there was a problem and we cant open this document. If this happens again try opening the document in MS Word" (Same issue with all apart from Excel which shows an IIS config page).
Ive unregistered and reregisterd OWA in Sharepoint but the same result.
It may be worth adding that at around the same time the server lads disabled SSL 3.0 on the servers, ive had them change the reg key back to enable it again and tested if it is working but it may have caused some other issue in IIS im unaware of, they also
did this on exchange but OWA is working fine on this.
The above issue happens in chrome so im asuming there is come caching going on, in IE i get

Hello me and my Wife downloaded an app called itube. It's an app where you could download your favorite music/video and listen to it offline. Download app 4 months ago with no issue however a few days ago it started having an issue where now I could only listen to it online. It gives message no network connection. My wife has the exact iPhone with same app and she has no issue with it. She could still enjoy her music offline. I have already deleted and reinstall app, reset network settings, cleared history data , restart phone with no resolution. Can you please help me. Is there something else I'm missing that could reslove this issue? thank you.
I read the app through the app store and saw closely described designed for ios 7. Could it be possible since I got the ios 8 might be the reason why it's not working?

This CC desktop app constantly crashes and will not reopen. I have to uninstall and reinstall it at least once every couple weeks so it'll work. I won't get any error that it stopped working, it just won't show up in the Menu Bar anymore. trying to launch it does nothing. restarting my machine once or twice will usually bring it back, but for only a while. Tried quitting the process in the Activity monitor and re-launching the App, but that doesn't work either. This is very annoying. is there some wort of conflict with a traditional install of CS6 and the new CC?

Geforce GTX 570 2.5GbI think I've tracked down the source of this issue, but it nearly destroyed all versions of any Adobe application on my system. I have every version of Production Premium from CS4 on my system incase I have to go back to it for any reason. the conflict came about when I noticed the Adobe Application Manager Loaded in the Dock, but had locked up. (I think AAM may have been activated from the new AE CS6 - 11.0.3 update). I force quit the AAM and shut down all my apps. Then tried loading AAM again, it still froze. I restarted, reset the PRAM, repaired permissions, verified the system disk, but AAM would still not load. I ran the Cleaner Tool to remove the Creative Cloud Desktop Application. then restarted my computer. AAM came up and offered to update AE CS6. I let it install, closed it out and then started to deauthorize and uninstall my older versions of CS. I started with CS5 but AAM wouldn't load anymore. it just locked up right after launch. Since I couldn't uninstall anything, i ran the cleaner tool and removed only CS5. doing so removed any ability to run any Adobe program at all on my computer. AE couldn't load because it said QuickTime was no longer installed and immediately quit. After a Time Machine restore of the adobe files in the HD/Library/Application support and ~/Library/Application Support plus all the Preference files, the applications finally loaded again. I then reinstalled the CC Desktop Application which actually loaded and it told me to update AE CS6, doing this corrupted CS6 and that had to be restored from Time Machine as well.
after all that, I'm back to where i was in the beginning; AAM won't load, I can't uninstall older versions of the software and it's only a matter of time before the CC app stops working again. add to that the wondrous updating corrupts your application thing. -
Macbook air mini dp output resolution / full screen app issues
I've successfully connected my new macbook air 13" to my LED tv with a mini DP to hdmi adapter + hdmi wire. I am able to get video and audio (obviously.)
My issue is that no matter when resolution I try (1080p, 1080i, 720p, etc) and wether I am "mirroring" the display or "extending" the display,
My samsung 46" LED tv can not get full screen there is always black bars on the left and right.
When I connect my PC via VGA wire there are no bars and it is in full land scape view.
Also I've noticed in lion that full screen apps show up as the "linen wallpaper" on the second display.
the only way i can slightly alleviate the problem is full screening a video within youtube but not within the OS it self... even then there is still black bars which is weird because when i use the TV as a extended monitor the wallpaper is using the whole display just full screen video has black bars.
I am unable to get 1920 x 1200 output display to my HDTV is this possible? is it my mini DP to hdmi adapter that is at fault?
thanks in advanced to whoever helps sorry about the long post my brain is scattered on the issue because my VGA connetion works fine i don't understand why HDMI + mini DP has worse resolution...No, it doesn't list the resolution explicitly like that - the top few items in the list are "480i", "480p", "720p", "1080i" and "1080p", each with a small TV icon to the right. Non-television resolutions follow, and are listed with explicit pixel dimensions (and no TV icon), but the list stops at 1440x900, the native resolution of the MacBook's built-in display; it doesn't list resolutions higher than that.
Needless to say, I've tried every setting in the entire list, and they all suffer from the same problem of displaying shrunk down on the plasma TV with a margin around the desktop.
I wonder if the difference between your Display control panel and mine is that I'm running Snow Leopard? (Sorry - no screen grabs to show, I'm at work right now) -

In this case you must delete your payment details and you need to delete the proposal follow the below way.
For deletion payment details follow,
menu edit--->payments--->delete output
For deletion of proposal follow
menu edit-->proposal-->delete
Now you run the app, your problem will be solved.

Preview app issue after update to Mavericks
Since I updated to OS Mavericks my preview app has not been functioning properly. When the app is open when viewing PDFs a window (accompanied by a progress bar) pops up quite frequently that says "Saving changes... '#' documents remaining", with the # sign representing any number of documets. Often, the number of documents "remaining to be saved" progressively increases from 1 to 8 or so, despite there being only one document open. While the app is doing these "auto saves" my computer is slowed down significantly and while these interuptions occur I am usually unable to do anything else.
I will also add that the size of the PDF files that I view are rather large, on average 70-80 MB, although I'm not sure if that is the reason for the issue because before I updated to Mavericks I didn't have this problem. And the problem does also seem to occur with smaller sized files as well.
My computer usage is usually minimal when this occurs, typically only Safari is open in the background. I was advised to reset my SMC, which I did, but the problem is still occurring. Any additional advice or solutions would be much appreciated. Thanks.I have just experienced this exact same issue.
I have been adding text notes and highlighting to a PDF document that is saved on an external USB drive. When I left work yesterday I told preview to save the changes. I did notice the Saving Changes dialog appear and before I left it said 3 documents remainin, even though I only had one document open in preview. My USB drive was connected and mounted when I left work.
On my return in the morning I noticed that the Saving Changes dialog had not gone away. For some reason my USB drive was unmounted and I had the OS X message about ejecting drives before disconnecting them so I re-seated the USB cable and my drives remounted. Immeditately after doing this the Saving Changes dialog in preview started counting up from 3 to 8. It is now sitting at 8 and the progress bar is empty.
I had a look in Console and did not notice anything strange. I also grabbed a sample of the Preview process using Activity Monitor but I have little clue what to look for. Whilst I was running console and activity monitor and such I did notice that the Saving Changes dialog has climbed further to 14 now and it appears to increase whenever I bring preview into focus or move away from preview. I appear to have no option but to force quit preview so that I may continue working.
My PDF document is 26.5M.
I have a Macbook Air (13-inch, Mid 2011), 1.7GHz i5 with 4GB RAM running OSX Mavericks 10.9.1.
