App upload- Version Mismatch

I just uploaded an app from DPS App Builder to Apple's Application Loader, and received this message after my upload:
Version Mismatch - Neither CFBundleVersion ['3.3.3.9.89459'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.0.8'] in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect ['4.0'].
Has anyone experienced this error? I'm not sure where the disconnect was, or if this will be a problem for my app.

Short answer: Don't worry about it.
Apple is just letting you know that the version number specified in DPS App Builder doesn't match the version number specified in iTunes Connect. Apple has not rejected any app because of this discrepancy, so you're fine ignoring it. If you want the warning to go away, you can edit the version number in iTunes Connect to match the App Builder version number.

Move the Safari app from the Desktop to the Applications folder.
    Restart your Mac.
    That's why you see this:
When I try to do the updates my computer says it has ready it goes through like it is downloading them then at the end it says some of the files could not be saved to "/" files.

  • Issue app version mismatch

    Hello,
After distributing native android viewer on Google Play, it appears that we have several folios in dual orientations, which aren't supported by the native android dps apps.
So we decided to build new app by DPS app builder : the legacy one.
Already tested on our test devices, everythings are right !
But now, when i upload the APK to Google, It explains me that the code version mismatch with the latest, it must be higher version..
Do you know how to change the code version of the android fewer app on dps app builder ?
    Thanks.
    Nicolas
    ps see attached :
    Version is 30000005
    Google wants a 30000008 version

    Yes !!
    Very very nice news !!
Id like to add to this comment, that you've done a very good job about the enhancing of the Android viewer, folios display pages faster than before and overlays are nicely fitted and integrated!
We're waiting for this update quickly.

  • My app was rejected by version mismatch

Can you please help me figure out what to do about this error? My single-issue app was working fine until uploaded to iTunes. Both the "version" in the Producer and the Version in the app info are set to 1. Is there another place a version number could appear? What is the CFBundle? Would changing the 1 in iTunes Connect to 1.0.9 fix this? I will have to resubmit the binary. On a school deadline! Help!
Version Mismatch - Neither CFBundleVersion ['30.2.0.10.95964'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.0.9'] in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect ['1'].

    Hi Neil.
I have looked through the forums at this issue (I received the same message) and I am curious if the fix I made is appropriate. I could not find a version number in App Builder, so I went to iTunes and selected the last Development version I had loaded to my iPad. I right clicked and selected Get Info. The screen there told me the version was 1.0.13, so I went back to iTunes Connect and edited the App information, changing the version from 1.0 to 1.0.13. I didn't reject the binary or reload anything, just made the change and then saved changes.
Does this sound like it should work? I haven't received any other messages from Apple saying there is a problem.
It is a little disconcerting for those of us new to the process to get the message. Could Adobe consider updating the Step-By-Step Guide with information on how to find the correct version number and enter it when uploading the file to Apple? It seems like it would be useful to lots of people who have posted here.
    Thanks for posts.

  • App Update error "Version Mismatch"

    Hi everyone,
We are updating our app from v26 to v27 and received the following error from Apple saying "we may wish to correct the following issues in your next delivery"
Version Mismatch - Neither CFBundleVersion ['3.2.2.7.86923'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.0.6'] in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect ['1.2'].
We have no idea how to rectify this?
It also asked for 76 x76 and 152 x 152 icons which aren't asked for in app builder?
Any ideas?  We followed the article on lodging updates to apps and it all worked fine.

    Hi Bob,
first of all thank you for all your so precious informations!
I have received today 14 January the same kind of warning (Version Mismatch - Neither CFBundleVersion ['3.4.2.12.91210'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.0.12'] in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect ['2.0'].) and I just would like to know if as far as you are concerned this warning still does not affect the approval of the app!
I have changed in iTunes Connect the version number in order to match the "CFBundleShortVersionString" (1.0.12) without rejecting the app, now it is in the "Waiting for review" status: do you suggest just to wait and see what happens or do you think I should rebuild and submit again the app?
Many thanks and Best Regards from Italy :-)

  • 2 Problems while Distributing app  Version Mismatch. Neither CFBundleversion ['1.1'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.1'] in the info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect  ['1.1']

Since 2 days when I try to validate or distribute my app it says "Version Mismatch. Neither CFBundleversion ['1.1'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.1'] in the info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect  ['1.1']". Today it also always says that the Network Connection was lost. Can someone tell me how to solve this problems?
    Thanks

Looks like a couple scripts are missing:
If you republish the entire site iWeb should recreate these for you...
I don't use the built-in navigation. I usually just create my own:

  • AIR 16 Public SDK gets rejected by Apple [Minimum OS Version Mismatch]

Just tried doing a submission. It immediately gets rejected for Invalid Binary.
    Invalid Binary Error
Minimum OS Version Mismatch - The minimum OS version (LC_VERSION_MIN_IPHONEOS) in the binary ('6.0') for architecture ('armv7') differs from the MinimumOSVersion ('7.0') in the Info.plist.

We are also seeing this issue. Even compiling a basic project with just the necessary items and no ANE's results in the following error when uploaded to the app store:
Minimum OS Version Mismatch - The minimum OS version (LC_VERSION_MIN_IPHONEOS) in the binary ('5.0') for architecture ('armv7') differs from the MinimumOSVersion ('8.0') in the Info.plist.
Minimum OS Version Mismatch - The minimum OS version (LC_VERSION_MIN_IPHONEOS) in the binary ('7.0') for architecture ('arm64') differs from the MinimumOSVersion ('8.0') in the Info.plist.
Reverting to Air SDK 15 bypasses the issue for now.

  • Version Mismatch and Missing recommended icon file

I got these to error message when i upload my app. Can someone help me figure this out please
    Thx
Version Mismatch - Neither CFBundleVersion ['30.3.0.5.96880'] nor CFBundleShortVersionString ['1.0.4'] in the Info.plist match the version of the app set in iTunes Connect ['1.0'].
Missing recommended icon file - The bundle does not contain an app icon for iPad of exactly '152x152' pixels, in .png format for iOS versions >= 7.0.

The first one is a specific as it can possibly be. If you don’t want to add the icon then don’t but it could cause things to look a bit poor on retina devices.
The second one can safely be ignored.

  • Version Mismatch on Deployment

    Hi,
I think I have a version mismatch problem here on deployment, but cannot figure out how to resolve it. We have two ASP.NET web apps deployed, called App1 and App2. Both use Crystal Reports. The reports display fine in a report viewer on App1 but on App2 all I get is a blank viewer.
App1 was originally developed in Visual Studio 2008 along with CR2008, incorporating CrystalDecisions.Web ver. 12.0.2000. Then it was deployed to the server, along with appropriate redistributable. It all worked fine.
App2 came along, and I switched to VS2010 and CR2010. I also converted App1 to build and run on my dev machine in VS2010 and CR2010, using CrystalDecisions.Web ver. 13.0.2000. On my dev machine, both apps run fine and report fine.
I deployed App2 to the server, along with the appropriate redistributable for CR. I did not deploy the updated App1. So now on the server, App1 is looking for ver. 12.0.2000.0 of CrystalDecisions.Web in the GAC, and App2 is looking for ver. 13.0.2000.0.
I have verified that both versions of CrystalDecisions.Web are in the GAC.
Now App1 still reports fine on the server (although there were some non-reproducible hiccups), but App2 will not display the report. The viewer comes up blank. Again, this works on my dev machine.
Any suggestions as to why App2 will not view the reports? The relevant code from the App2 web.config is listed below.  The source code from the page that actually displays the report is in a followup reply, since it seems too large to put in this message.
    Thanks.

  • Java Plug-in version mismatch crash IE8 with DEP error

We are running Windows XP SP3 with IE8 and some of our internal sites that require JRE will crash the browser with a DEP error. The machines that exhibit this behaviour have multiple versions of JRE installed. However, we haven't been able to nail it down to specific version(s). The only common thread we can find is when looking at the IE8 add-on list the Java plug-in doesn't look quite right. The name column will show "Java Plug-in 1.6.0_19" but the version column lists 1.6.0.7. Has anyone seen that where the name of the Java plug-in add-on doesn't match the version column? I still can't repro the version mismatch issue yet and we've only seen it on a handful of machines so far. However, we are getting ready to rollout IE8 to our enterprise and I want to get a handle on this issue.
I have found two workarounds so far. One is to the disable the Java Plug-in with the version mismatch issue. Then it will fall back on one of the other JRE versions installed. The second workaround is to install the latest version of JRE which also resolves the issue. Seems like a no brainer but in our environment we have requirements for specific versions of JRE and simply pushing out the latest version to everyone may break the other apps.
Anyone heard of this behaviour before?

  • CFBundleVersion must be higher than previously uploaded version

I got this error and cannot figure out how to resolve it.  In my info.plist file I set the Bundle version to 1.8.  My current binary on the app store is 1.7 and yet when I try to validate in the Organizer, I get the error that the CFBundleVersion must be higher than the previously uploaded version.  I tried changing the bundle version in Xcode and in parallel iTunes Connect to 1.9, to 2.0, to 1.80, to 2.01, to 2.8, and 3.8, but with no success.  The new version of the app is currently waiting to upload.
Any ideas how I can get the app to validate properly in the Organizer.  I have never had this problem before and it is very frustrating.

    Dear xnav,
Thank you!  I actually figured it out right after I posted and now it works just fine.  My misunderstanding was that I was trying to send a past archive thinking this was the new archive.  Thanks to you, I now understand this much better.  Then my problem was that "Archive" was greyed out.  All I needed to do, which you mention, is to select the build for an iOS Device rather than the simulator.  Then "Archive" showed up in the menu and it worked just fine.  I was able to archive the 1.8 version and upload it.  Thank you for all of your help.

Do I need to open a support ticket of each file mismatch to figure out how to merge them?
Here is a list of the mismatched template files:
    appsweb.cfg
    httpd_ux_ias1022.conf
    httpd_ux_ias1022_pls.conf
    jserv_ux_ias1022.properties
    trusted.conf
    txkGenFormServletIni.pl
    xmlsvcs_ux_ias1022.properties
    zone_ias1022.properties
