Apple ID Disabled.. I contacted support 3 times,, been over 2 weeks. Nothing changed

been over 2 weeks. Nothing changed. still cannot access anything...this is so frustrating and should be illegal..I spend so much money on my accoutn and for no reason at all it says disbaled...now what??

    Do you remember if you  have installed some software prior to this issue?
    Delete programs you never use.
    If the issue reoccurs in Clean Boot, but works fine in Safe Mode, the cause may be the disabled hardware drivers. You may narrow down the

    Thanks for the flag J.K. - they contaced me and solved my problem.  On this account (which I created just to ask this question), I log in with my email rather than my user name (mtalldud). On the account that I was having trouble with, they told me to use my user ID instead of my email to log in and it worked. This is a bit confusing and seems a bit inconsistent but at least I don't need this temporary account any more to get into this community and find answers!

    We are fellow users, we won't know why. If you are frequently changing your payment method then that might be why - if you've got the message to contact them again then you could see if they can see why it's happening and if they or you can do anything to stop it happening.

    I can't believe I am the only person experiencing this. I've been an apple customer for over six years. I have two personal ipads, one work ipad, and two personal iphones with them. For some unknown reason this year they decided to put some restriction on my account that if i try to buy an app from the app store, I have to call in to support to get it to go through. Support fixes it, but ONLY FOR THAT PURCHASE. Anytime afterward that I want to buy an app, I have to go through the same thing again. Every time I call, I get a difference excuse for why it's happening. One person told me it's because i got a refund on an app once (mind you , the refund was because APPLE doublecharged me for one app, not anything that was my fault). Lately the new line has been that it's "for my protection". Who on god's green earth thinks that is a reasonable way to treat a customer? Why only me? I don't see anyone else complaining about this. I spent thousands of dollars on Apple equipment expecting a certain kind of service, and instead I'm treated like a criminal where I can't even buy an app with a valid credit card without getting special permission. Has Apple lost their collective minds?

    It has done this numerous times.  I'm frustrated with it.

    Have you tried logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and seeing if it then works on it ?

    Same issue here, seems to be just The Avengers, everything else working fine but Avengers either won't start or won't restart after pausing.

    Bzzzz -- Sorry...you listen about as well as Apple Tech Support.  Where did you see me ask anything about my password?  I know darn well what my password is.  Assuming (it's a big assumption I know) that people like myself use a password with at least 8 characters, alpha-numeric, Mixed Case, with special characters...there are probably... a trillion? possible password combinations.  My device isn't disabled. Only my Apple-ID is disabled...which means I can't access iCloud via the web...or iTunes on my Laptop or My AppleTV or my iPhone.  Exactly how do you connect your Apple TV to your computer and perform a restore?  Assuming I do a "factory reset" on My AppleTV that doesn't mitigate the problem of having my Apple ID disabled.  I simply asked Apple to remove the lock-out flag.  Their iforgot webpage doesn't work whatever reason...so I did a CHAT with tech support -- and then a PHONE CALL, and EMAILS  many many emails...that explain that due to some security software update currently underway that Apple is incapable of re-enabling my account.  It has been over two weeks...and they still report they can't do this. I can verify my identity. I know the credit card number etc attached to my account.  They could enable the account and REMOVE the credit card number if they like.  I can easily re-add it....once I have access to my account.  If you give me your iPhone...I can try to download an app or make an in-app purchase -- it will require your password which I do now know.  If I do this 4 times your account is locked out...it should be for 72 hours?  --- but apparently...right now....it could be indefinietly. As in "no end in sight". My only recourse is to create a NEW apple-id account....and everything I've bought under my old-id would probably be unavailable.  Go ahead... try it.... key n the wrong passcode until your account is locked...then I can watch your frustration if after two weeks you are no closer to getting it re-enabled when you know darn well what your corect passcode is.

    newbie on the board.
    i've had a zen micro since june of this year. until 2 days ago, it worked fine - the battery wouldn't charge so i took it back yesterday to best buy where i have a service plan and they gave me a new device (they just replaced the device and usb port as that is what i returned - i have the previous installation cd that came with my other zen micro).
    however, my computer will now not recognize that my zen micro is connected when i connect it to my usb port in the back of my pc. i have contacted support 4 times, where with their suggestions i have done a clean boot several times (i have windows xp); uninstalled and re-installed the software from my cd; disabled ad-aware as i was informed that this could cause conflict; re-installed the driver through my computer from my cd numerous times; uninstalled my device through control panel under device manager, etc. but no luck! i have also performed a disk defragmentation and disk cleanup on my computer. i even tried both usb ports and tried using another device that uses my usb port and it worked. i also tried another computer that has windows 98 but again it does not recognize when it is plugged in. on both computers it keeps saying new hardware is found even after i re-install and install everything, and i make sure to restart my computer each time. under control panel under hardware devices it lists the creative zen micro under Others, but it displays a question mark icon to it. the weird thing is that my device recharges and i can use the removable disk, but anything else - like windows media player 0 or creative zen micro media source - just does not recognize the device.
    i also tried installing firmware ..0, but since my device isn't recognized it can't install. (laughter).
    PLEASE...any assistance would be greatly appreciated!! i am perplexed as to why it isn't working. my zen micro is version 2..02 and my media source is version 4.00.22.

    In Windows Explorer, the connection shows up twice, Once as it's own dri've "MTP Device" and Zen Micro Media Explorer. Double clicking on the second one elicits the warning "The device is not connected. Please connect your Zen Micro to the computer."
    Again, what firmware version does the player have now?
    You mentioned that the player was not connected, but is the MTP device entry working?
