Appstore has my old apple ID keyed in and it wont let me change it
i have updated to OS X Yosemite and the appstore has my old apple ID keyed in it. And whenever i want to update/purchase an app when i have to put my password in, i cant because the apple ID is wrong PLEASE HELP
I had a similar issue when I purchased a new laptop. All itunes ID was associated with a different Apple ID than the ID I associated the laptop with. So, all my old apps were associated with my old itunes ID and my new iWork and ilife apps were associated with another Apple ID. I emailed apple support and they allowed a one-time shift of all the iWork and ilife apps to my itunes ID. They required some details to prove my ID, but they DID allow me to do it. Can't guarantee they will do it for everyone.

Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I changed my AppleID a long time ago to an email that I no longer use and I have updates for apps that I can't update because my old email is filled in to where i sign in and it wont let me change it to my new one???
The problem with those two apps is that they are supposed to be in your Apple ID and you didn't set up the Mac properly/completely when you got it.
You might try deleteing them and using OS X Recovery to install them again.

After that, before you open any iLife apps go to your Mac App Store account, to the Purchased pane and Accept them into your account. -

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. When you delete the existing account you will get an option to keep the iCloud data on your device.
Before deleting the account, save any photo stream photos that you want to keep to your camera roll. -
How do I change my Apple ID in iCloud. I changed my Apple ID but when I go to settings iCloud the old id is grayed out and won't let me change it now because my password is for the new id but I can out the new id in the Apple ID spot
Does it show a Delete Account option at the bottom of Settings > iCloud? What happens if you hit that?

I'm trying to buy more storage on my iPad but when I get to the "buy" button, it has my old Apple ID and I can't go any farther. I've changed my Apple ID on all my devices, logged out, logged back in, rebooted, etc., but that one area still has old one.
You can't buy more storage on an iPad. You are referring to space on iCloud and that probably won't accomplish what you are trying to do.

iCloud has my old Apple ID and is prompting for a password, but I want to put in the new id, I can't because it is grey and there is no edit option. I'm prompted for a password to an account that doesn't exist. Anyone know what I can do to fix this or why this is happening.? Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

Have you already verified your "new" email address? If not then please check your inbox for a confirmation email (also the junk folder). If you do not have a confirmation email then please sign in at https://appleid.apple.com and press "verify" for confirming your email address.

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)

That means there is content on your phone...music and or apps...originally obtained using his Apple ID. Such content is forever tied to the account used to originally obtain it and cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. Your only choice is to identify and delete this content.
