AQ Dequeue serially not concurrent

I use Oracle 10gR1. I Created a multiple consumer queue. I added one subscriber to the above queue. I start to use the queue. I realize that dequeing is concurrent from the single subscriber.
My program need strongly a serial dequeing.
Does a single consumer queue make serial dequeing?
If so how can i create a single cons queue?
If not how can i resolve my problem?
(I tried to set aq_tm_process but is deprecated from Oracle 10)
Thanks in advance

For what it's worth, you posted this in 2011, and here in 2014 I am still having this same issue. Over the last two days, I have had to unlock my apple account 8 times. I didn't get any new devices. I haven't initiated a password reset. I didn't forget my password. I set up two factor authentication and have been able to do the unlocking with the key and using a code sent to one of my devices.
    That all works.
It's this having to unlock my account every time I go to use any of my devices. And I have many: iMac, iPad, iPad2, iPad mini, iPhone 5s, iPod touch (daughter), and my old iPhone 4 being used as an ipod touch now.  They are all synced, and all was working just fine.
I have initiated an incident with Apple (again) but I know they are just going to suggest I change my Apple ID. It's a simple one, and one that I am sure others think is theirs. I don't want to change it. I shouldn't have to. Apple should be able to tell me who is trying to use it, or at least from where.
    Thanks for listening,
    Melissa

  • Old serial # not working to reinstall CS2 on new computer

I installed all the disks for my old CS2 software on my new computer but when I open the individual programs, they give me an error reading "User name, organization, serial number is missing or invalid.  Application cannot continue and must now exit."  I spoke to an adobe representative who said that CS2 would not fuction with my new Windows 7 OS.  Is there any way to get the older version to work with the Windows 7 or is it incompatible?  I have the old serial number, coupon code (it was a student version), and customer ID #.  Thanks in advance for your help!

Did you run in compatibility mode for WinXP? If not, please do. The issue is simply that the data is actually there, it's just in the wrong place. Only inputting it in legacy mode will store it in the right location in the registry. and of course you will have to run as admin, turn off UAC and system protection as wel las any third-party security tools to avoid possible inetrference.

  • Acrobat 9.0 serial not working for Acrobat XI update (Mac)

The subject line says it all. When I try to run my newly downloaded XI update, it requests a serial number for a qualifying product. I have Acrobat 9.0.0 Pro installed, and when I try to run XI, I get a window reading: "Serial Number you provided is valid, but a qualifying product could not be found on this computer."
Then I manually input the serial (correctly--I've triple checked), select Acrobat Professional 9.0 for Mac in the pull down menu and click "Next." I get an error message saying, "This serial number is not for a qualifying product. Please try another."
    What the heck?

  • Photoshop CS4 Install issues - Serial # not accepted

I have just spent THE most frustrating 3 hours trying to deal with Adobe Support.
    -Upgarded my Hard Drive
    -Tried to reinstall PS CS4
-recieved error message on first screen saying that I had the wrong number
-Called Support, spoke to a lady I could barely understand (thick East Indian accent) and she couldn't help me directly bc of my outdated SW and referred me to the Forums
-poured over forums for almost 2 hours, found the same problem and the solution was "Call them back and insist on a supervisor who can at that point give you and override" ARRRG!
-called back, sw gentleman with accent worse than the first rep and explain all of the above
-Was told repeatedly that my Serial number does not resemble a current number
-Asked repeatedly to speak to a Super
-Rep kept putting me on hold and then returning with the same damn questions!!!!
-I finally excused myself and hung up.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT HERE?
    Sam

I have been exactly where you are recently. The techs couldn't help but I finally found a solution. I copied the CD onto my hard drive and ran the install from there. My serial number was accepted and CS4 is running just fine. I don't know if it will work for you but could be worth a try.

  • Acrobat 9.4 and 8.0 suddenly asking for serials-not accepting original numbers

I own CS2, CS3 Web Premium and Design Premium and CS4 Design Premium. After not having opened Acrobat 8.0 or 9.0 in some time, when I opened 9.0 today it asked for a serial. I looked up my serial and entered it only to be told that it was an invalid serial. Needing to use Acrobat immediately, I then opened 8.0 and the same thing happened. so I called support and spoke with someone in India (of course) who, after a half hour had no explanation for the problem and no solution other than to re-install my apps, which I do not happen to have with me on the road. He did check the validity of my Adobe accounts and the serial numbers, but to no avail. I was out of time, so I had to revert to using Acrobat 7.0.
What's going on here? Has anybody else been experiencing similar problems recently?

Damn, nobody replied to you and your problem. I have the same here: Acrobat Pro is updated automatically but now it cannot start up as it asks for a serial number and my CS4 number doesn;t work. It seems it isn't linked with the CS4 serial number or so.

  • Serial not working for Acobat X

Hi, I've just installed a new version of CS5. I was using the trial version for a few weeks and I realised that Acrobat Pro was not installed.
    Not to worry I thought.
Today, I bought the serial for Design Premium CS5 and rang Adobe to confirm that we would recieve Acrobat X serial upon purchasing the serials.
    They said we would.
Indeed, I did get two serials. However, one was for CS5 Design Premium (which worked!) and the other was for Acobat 9 Pro which does not work with my installed trial version of Acrobat X.
Can someone from the Customer Support team please help as I currently have a trial version of Acrobat X that's still asking for a serial.
    Ta
    Adrian

Creative Suite currently ships with Acrobat 9 - *not* Acrobat X.
Because of the way the license manager operates, you always get two serial numbers - one for CS, and one for Acrobat - but serials for Acrobat 9 will not of course work for Acrobat X, trial or no trial.
Acrobat X Pro will be included in the next dot release of CS5, details of which will be sent automatically to customers with a support subscription plan. At this time we cannot give any more information on dates, prices or upgrade paths.

  • Acrobat Pro X serial not working with Acrobat Pro XI

I have a serial for Acrobat Pro X which I've been using for quite some time. After formatting my PC, I'm now trying to install Acrobat Pro on my new system but it seems that my serial "is not valid for Acrobat Pro XI".
I'd be happy if I could install Pro X, but it's nowhere to be found on the internet.
Let me get this straight: I can't reinstall a program I ALREADY BOUGHT when I remove it from my system. Nice.
    Help me out here please.

  • Dequeue timeout NOT timing out

Hi, we have an application that uses the pure JDBC drivers and the AQ api to dequeue messages off an 8.1.7.2 queue with object payloads. We user navigation next message and the queue properties are:
    owner : QUEUEMGR
    name : FXD_QUEUE
    queue table : FXD_MSG_QUEUE
    [AQQueueProperty]
    type : NORMAL
    max_retries : 0
    retry_interval : 0.0
    retention_time : 0.0
    dep_tracking : false
    comment : null
    auto_commit : true
    Payload type : OBJECT
Users enqueue messages through a stored procedure, which after calling enqueue it goes into a loop checking the queue table for the existence of that message every few ms. If the message does not leave the queue within 5 seconds, an error is thrown to the user. We are experiencing a problem with the queue in that sometimes the dequeue call would block for a very long time (1, 2 even 4 minutes) as if there were no messages, while on the same time users where getting errors thrown as they were enqueueing messages that were not received within 5 seconds. We tried to work around that by setting the dequeue timeout to 2 seconds, hoping that unblocking and calling dequeue again would work, and we added very verbose logging to know exactly where the time is spent.
While normally our log file looks like:
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:17 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,OracleAQRetriever: Dequeue timeout due to inactivity.
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:17 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Calling blocking dequeue on AQ Api

[Wed Sep 11 15:07:21 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Calling blocking dequeue on AQ Api
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:23 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,OracleAQRetriever: Dequeue timeout due to inactivity.
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:23 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Calling blocking dequeue on AQ Api
    [Wed Sep 11 15:07:25 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Blocking dequeue returned message
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:25 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,OracleAQRetriever: processing msg from dequeue call
At random intervals we get :
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:43 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,OracleAQRetriever: Dequeue timeout due to inactivity.
[Wed Sep 11 15:07:43 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Calling blocking dequeue on AQ Api
    [Wed Sep 11 15:08:56 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,Blocking dequeue returned message
[Wed Sep 11 15:08:56 GMT+03:00 2002],Informative,OracleAQRetriever: processing msg from dequeue call
which means that now we called dequeue at 15:07:43, there was a meesage so there was no reason to timeout. The method returned over a minute
    later with a message.
Is there anything that could be causing it not to timeout every 2 seconds?
Is there anything that could be causing it not to dequeue the message immediately but with a huge delay?
    Kind regards,
    alex

    Hi,
While de-queing the dequeue session does not refresh after every dequeue. The message list is read only once i.e during the first dequeue call of the session. If the first dequeue call sees only 3 messages it would dequeue only 3 messages even if more messages are added(through enqueue) after the first dequeue.
To overcome this you can set dbms_aq.dequeue_options_t 's navigation property to DBMS_AQ.FIRST_MESSAGE(the default is dbms_aq.next_message) before every call to dequeue is made.
    loop
set the property to first message
    dequeue
    end loop
    Thanks

  • Dequeuing messages not working

I am trying to dequeue messages through the use of a java durable subscriber. That is the only subscriber. I successfully get the message and then call the method _session.commit();. Neither throw any errors and I am confused as to why the queue shows the message as processed yet it is still in the queue. Is there an orcale process that needs to be running to remove these dequeued messages? Propagation between databases is not a valid solution. So, some of the examples do not hold for my current setup.
    my setup:
    oracle 9i
create table, schema, objects, trigger to push jms messages into queue
    java client to dequeue messages.
One strange thing I notice, at least to me, is that in order for the trigger to place messages into the queue, i need to either start the java durable subscriber up so it creates a subscriber or run the following: EXECUTE create_subs ( "name", "queue_name", null, null );. Now do I now have two subscribers once I start the java client up after running the PL/SQL command?
per my requirements I need to be able to queue things through a trigger, thus I need to be able to queue messages without having a java durable subscriber running.
Is there a way to determine who is subscribed? For some reason I am not seeing the information i need in any document or on any list.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    James

createDurableSubscriber creates a new subscriber or gets an handle to an existing subscriber.
When you enqueue a message - you must either have created the subscriber or explicitly specified the recipient during the publish. From what you are seeing it seems that you are trying to enqueue a message without creating the subscriber.
If you want to do this then you must explicilty specify the recipient in the publish call. You'll need to use OJMS extensions in AQjmsSession to do this. The recipients can be specified as an array of AQjmsAgent s

  • VISA serial not working right in Windows 7

Howdy.  I wrote a fairly straightforward VISA serial read and write program in LV 2010.  I use VISA write to send a query through the COM port, then use VISA read to get the response and display it for the user.  I do this for several more addresses, then go back to the first one, and then it continues to loop over and over. It works fine when I run it as a vi on my computer, and it runs fine when I compile it and run the executable from my computer as well.  My computer has Windows XP.
However, when I transfer the exe to a laptop running Windows 7, it either works sporadically, or not at all.  I know LV is installed correctly because a couple other small programs work fine, and as I said this one will occasionally communicate, although usually I'll see the wrong address being displayed.
At first I thought it was my code, but no matter how many different methods I tried, it would always work perfectly fine under XP, but awful under Windows 7. Then I ran into Windows 7 USB and COM port driver issues with a different, nonrelated software program, so now I'm beginning to suspect it may be Windows 7 that's the culprit and not my code.
ETA:  LV is the only program running on the Windows 7 laptop, so I know there is nothing else trying to use the COM port.  Plus, I have shut LV completely off and restarted to make sure LV itself isn't still holding the COM port and that didn't help either.
Anyone else run into something like this?
Amateur programmer for over 10 years!

Actually my LV code is talking through a standard DB9 COM port.  It was another software application I use that communicated through a USB-to-COM converter that I found worked fine via plug-n-play in XP but I had to go through multiple steps to finally get it to work under Windows 7.
Here's a sample of my code.  This is step 4, so I've already established my COM port settings earlier.  It sends out a query, in this case "MD 8009", and the microprocessor will echo back the query plus a value, like "MD 8009 75".  The serial communication in this device is very slow, so I send the message, then I have to loop for a while until I see a response that includes the original string plus more data.  If I don't see a reply that looks correct after so much time, I try sending the query again 20 more times before I give up and flush the I/O buffer then move on to the next address.  If everything works well, I store and display the data, flush the I/O buffer, then move on to the next query.

  • My CS5.5 MC serial not accepted even after installing with FB 4.6

    Hello all,
My CS5.5 MC serial number is not accepted by FB 4.6 even after start it in trial mode as suggested here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/924/cpsid_92402.html
    Can anyone help me?

    Hi,
Is MC (CS 5.5) already installed on your computer? If so, does it have FB 4.5 also installed as part of it? If FB 4.5 is already installed (either as point product or as part of CS 5.5), you need to uninstall FB 4.5 before installing FB 4.6
After uninstalling FB 4.5, run FB 4.6 installer. Instead of enterning the CS 5.5 MC serial number during installation of FB 4.6, install FB 4.6 as a trial first.
Are you able to launch FB after installing as above?
Is MC serialized already on your machine? Then FB would pick up that serial number automatically and work like a premium version.
If not, it would show the serial number screen when you launch FB 4.6 and it would then accept MC 5.5 serial number.
Please follow the above steps in the same order and let us know if that works.
    Thanks,
    Deeptika

  • Stolen macbook pro, offline, no serial #, not registered...help!

I have a dire looking situation with a stolen macbook pro. It was stolen from me in an airport and its offline, no luck with icloud. I did not keep the box, nor the receipt (as i was traveling), I had not even registered it yet, it was brand new, and now I have no idea where to find the serial number.  I contacted Best Buy (bought off their website) to see if they keep serial numbers on sales, they said they didn´t, as I didnt have thier protection plan.
Am I completely out of luck??

    andreaceleste,
did you pay for it with a credit card? If so, that might be your only remaining proof of having purchased one at all. Of course, that won’t reveal what its serial number is. You’ll need to report its theft to whichever police force is in charge of that airport to have any chance of reïmbursement through your insurance company — be sure to keep all information provided to you by that police force, so that you can provide that information to your insurance company.
