Archivelink job error with Print Lists

I´m trying to configure   Archive Link Print Lists .
In order to test it:
- I have sheduled job ARCHLINK (5 minutes period , spool to a local printer , without immediate spool request)
- I have created an spool request to a local printer without immediate output (any list , in my case from report RSUSR200 , Execute and print)
- From the spool (SP01) , changing print paramters (press icon print with changed parameters) and I send the request to my output device ARCH , wich is defined
as type ARCHLINK , then , i get the message "Archive request created for spool request 10.611 in system NSP"
- using transaction OAM1 i see my request waiting to be processed in "storage queue"
- after job ARCHLINK has been executed i see in the log the message " 22040400 parameter (parameter error) OA501 " and this is the problem
If things would have worked properly , after job ARCHIVELINK , job CARA should have started , and finally job XXXXXEE5215878F1ADB8001E68C98EB3 (program RSCMSCAJ
) should have started .
¿does someone has any idea about what can be the solution for the problem?
Thank you in advance

Reinstalling the printer drivers from the Canon site seems to have fixed the problem in my case.
It seems the "update" from Apple deleted some of the older Canon driver files so you need to re-run the old driver installer from Canon to reinstate the missing files.
Hopefully this will resolve the problem for others using OS X 10.6.8 with older Canon printers.
If the Canon driver installer for your printer is so old it uses classic, if you have a backup of your system you may be able to find the missing files and copy them across manually but it won't be easy.

Hi @W6YUM , and welcome to the HP Forums!
I see you are getting an error, but everything seems to work.  I would like to try and assist.
Before we start, what error are you getting?
Are you connected wirelessly, or USB?
Is the on the printer or computer?

  • Memory full error with printing pdf

Occasionally I get a memory full error with printing pdf (Cmd-P - then use save PDF on lower left dialog screen). This is when just printing a few pages.
Why Am I getting this and how can I fix this?

I am not sure why but I have noticed some Adobe products when used to convert html documents (web pages) to pdf, can produce very large files.
Try using Apple's Preview to see if those 'memory full' messages still occur.
I am presuming you have plenty of free hard drive space and also sufficient RAM so suggesting it is an application bug about memory that is at issue and not actually a lack of physical memory.

Here is something that is really strange: If I drop the Datacleanse datastore, the job will finish. Except in cases where I leave the Print all trace messages turned on, then it will error with the same XML Parser error above.
    Thanks for all help.

Turned out I had a global address engine with US engine enabled, and a US Addrss engine in the same job. It did not like that.
I changed the global address engine to not handle US addresses, and it worked.

  • HP LaserJet Pro 300 color MFP runs cleaning and Mis Prints Error with Printing above 5 pages

I have an HP Pro 300 Printer with New genuine cartridges. But when I print or make copies of multi page jobs it always comes up with a message on the screen which says "cleaning"  and then give a "Mis Printer Error".The printer is out of warranty. The Print quality is excellent but the error it gives all the time is a major problem. Has anyone solution for this? Please help! Thanks

Restoring the defaults doesnt usually purge out the memory of a printer.  You need a cold reset to complete that proceedure. Cold Reset steps:http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printing-Issues-Troubleshooting/HP-LaserJet-Pro-200-color-MFP-M276nw-Cold-reset/td-p/5060955 The video at the bottom of the first page is very helpful.

  • Problem with printer list in Excel 2010

I am using Windows 8.1 and Excel 2010.  One of my printers is listed twice with slightly different names in the choice of printers when I go to print an Excel spreadsheet.  That same printer is shown only once (and by one of the names used by Excel)
under "Devices and Printers" in the Control Panel.
How do I get the Excel list to duplicate the printers listed under "Devices and Printers", and thus delete the second listing of one of my printers.

    Hi,
According to your description, my understanding is that Excel 2010 displays duplicate entries of the same printer in printer list. If it is right, this issue might be caused by the third-party program
interfere with the printer agent driver and Office, such as encryption software, the other customer solved it by remove the third-party program. Please see the similar issue:
    https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/fbcac3c3-c389-45c8-be80-1cf19f044250/office-2010-displaying-duplicate-entries-of-the-same-printer
I recommend we run Excel with
    Windows clean boot to test.
Then, we could check if there are residual information with
    registry key.

  • ERRORS WITH PRINTING TO AN XP NETWORK

    Hi,
I am sharing a network with a win xp computer using a wireless network from my mac book pro running os 10.5.1 It works great except for one problem: I am unable to print to the HP Officejet 4315 That is a printer attached to the XP machine with print sharing turned on. It is shared on the netwk and works fine. I can acutally see the printer on the windows network when I add printer through the workgroup/windows/server. When I try to add it on, OS X asks for drivers for the printer. I looked up the print drivers and there wasn't one for this particular printer. I tried generic postcript printer, but even that didn't help. I have also tried to download linux foundation drivers for 0S X printing. The best response I got was that the printer gets the job and then just hangs without printing.
    Please help.

I had a similar problem with a deskjet and a dell 5100c. I can't specifically remember where I found the solution, but I had to enable CUPS and also download and install gutenprint drivers. I did this a few months ago so i could not walk you through it exactly but check out
    http://gimp-print.sourceforge.net/
you might be able to find a gutenprint driver for your printer there.

  • SQL query alias names errors with dynamic lists

    Hullo,
    Problem:
    - Made a query form book database. Have authors in separate table with unique ID's referring to them on book table.
    - Query fetches author name in "Surname, Firstname initial.Secondfirstname initial" format, --> like "Bukowski, H.C" and giving that combo alias name in SQL like "AS 'author'"...
    - Dynamic list works fine at start, but when ordered from detail table back to the mainlisting, it does make an error with SQL stating "unknown column 'author' in where clause"
That must be because the script looks for "author" column from the original table yeah, but how can I solve this? Any ideas? Does this mean that Alias names for columns are not possible or is there something i've missed?
    Any ideas, suggestions?
    Thanks,
    KimmoK

    Hi Kimmo,
ADDT´s dynamic lists can handle alias columns fine to my experience, but I reckon that you most probably applied the "CONCAT(...) AS author" query modification after having generated the list, and the list´s internal WHERE clause seems to have no clue of this alias column.
You can get an idea about using alias columns in Dynamic Lists in my tutorial "Dynamic Lists: exploring the Filter Conditions": http://www.guenter-schenk.com/tutorials/tutorial.php?id=6
Can you please post the list´s code on your server as text file (e.g. code.txt) and provide a link to this file ?

    Hi,
I tried to build a custome web gallery into LR 4.3 on MAC.
I started with example from LR SDK zip.
In my index.html sample file, i simply declare some variables at the top like this:
<%--[[ Define some variables to make locating other resources easier     firstPage was defined in our manifest.]]      local others = "content"    local theRoot = "."    local mySize = "large"    local firstImage    local title    local caption    local width    local height      local LrLogger = import 'LrLogger'    local myLogger = LrLogger( 'libraryLogger' )          myLogger:enable('print')          local debug, info, warn, err = myLogger:quick( 'debug', 'info', 'warn', 'err' ) %>

Hi , Welcome to the HP Forums! I see that you are getting a printhead error with your HP Officejet 6830. I am happy to help!  I would recommend to go through the steps within this guide, 'Problem with Printhead,' 'Printer Failure,' 'Ink System Failure,' or a '0x...' or a 'C2...' Error Message Displays. You will also want to make sure you are using Genuine HP Ink Cartridges, and that none of your Ink Cartridges are low or empty.  Hope this guide helps!  “Please click the Thumbs up icon below to thank me for responding.”

  • Communication error with printer hooked to time capsule

I have a Macbook using 10.5.8 and a 500 gig Time Capsule with an Epson cx 3200 printer plugged into it and when I try to print, I get a 'Communication Error". What am I doing wrong?

    Welcome to the discussion area!
If your Epson is compatible (not all devices will work at the USB port of the Time Capsule), the Apple Printer Troubleshooting Guide will provide some assistance.
Keep in mind that only the printing function is supported if your device is compatible. Fax, Scan, Copy, Maintenance, etc., are not supported, so you will need to connect the device directly to your computer if you need these functions.

  • Error with printer

Hi gurús, I´m Having a problem with a printer....When I create a purchase order, the system set as default a NEU message.
Also is set the printer as a defualt value.

    Hi,
Hope there is no problems in output determination of PO as you got NEU as output type. Now Check in SPAD (Printer settings) settings & try to check the printer configuration. Check Device attributes, Access methods etc. are maintained in Spool Administration (SPAD) for the selected printer (your local Printer, may be ur using HP01or any  but in SAP std is LP01) but consult with your basis consultant regading above.
    Check the following also:
Spool generated using SP01 or SP02.
    Output device.
    Local printer settings.
    Paper Tray, Print Mode, Printer
    Note:
    Check MN04 and NACE t.codes

  • Alignment error with printer HP4500

I have a new HP4500 wirelessly connected to my desktop using windows 7. Although it works perfectly it tends to print too high up on each sheet of paper and with some printing adds a line at the top and the bottom of the page showing about one third of each character. The cartridges are HP and the display on the Word screen is spaced correctly.

Hello @sideslip and welcome to the HP Forums
Which HP 4500 do you have?
Are you able to make a Copy on that 4500 without the same issue occurring?
Is the printer connected via USB or wireless?
Does it have that issue regardless of what program you print from?
Once I have this information I should be able to help you narrow down what's causing the issue!

  • Print List Archiving

    hi,
When i see job log for print list link, i am getting messgae as
Print list size exceeds 2 GB limit in spool system.
How to reduce the size of print list.

    Hi Soyab,
    The note does exist:
    Summary
Symptom Before you use RSBCS_REORG: After you implement this note, you must also implement Note 1003894 (RSBCS_REORG: Corrections).
You need to reorganize the data relevant to the sending of documents or the use of SAPoffice/Business Workplace.
Send requests, which are displayed using transaction SOST, are no longer required and should be deleted.
The related tables (SOOD, SOOS, SOC3, SOFFCONT1, BCST_SR, BCST_CAM and so on) are increasing over time. Part of the data is not required and should be deleted.
    Other terms
Reorganization, SBWP, SOST, send request, RSBCS_REORG
    Reason and Prerequisites
You could do the reorganization previously using the RSCBCSRE03 report. Depending on the volume of data and release level, you must also start the RSSORE00 report. These reports do not perform this task, however, because they
    have too few selection criteria
release dependent references mutually and therefore, may need to be started several times in turn to delete all data.
issue too little information relating to deleted and non-deleted data.
This note is valid for releases as of Release SAP_BASIS 620. Note 922565 is valid for Release SAP_BASIS 4.6C.
    Solution
This note includes a new report RSBCS_REORG, which includes all of the functions of RSBCSRE03 (and those of the reports RSBCSRE00, RSBCSRE01, RSBCSRE02 that are called) as well as those of report RSSORE00. All of these reports have become obsolete due to report RSBCS_REORG, and should no longer be used. Reports RSSORE01 and RSSORE02 are also obsolete.
Due to the very extensive corrections, we recommend that you import the relevant Support Package to use the report.
You can also implement the corrections using Note Assistant 2.0, that is, for SAP_BASIS 620 as of SAPKB62055, and for SAP_BASIS 640 as of SAPKB64013, as well as for higher release levels. This new solution is not provided for lower Support Package levels, for which reports RSBCSRE03 und RSSORE00 must still be used. The reason for this is that you must create several new classes that will be used by RSBCS_REORG. Therefore, it is also not sufficient to create the report manually.
You are also restricted when you use the report with Note Assistant due to missing texts that should have been translated (several texts are only available in English).
For more information about the use of the report and reorganization in the Business Communication Services area, see the related notes.
Read this information carefully, because deleted data cannot be restored!
    Report RSBCS_REORG
The report RSBCS_REORG always assumes that a document is to be deleted, since send requests can only be deleted if the related document is deletable.
The report reads all the main documents that fulfill the selection criteria, and checks if these and possibly related send requests can be deleted. If the checks show that no uses exist, all related data will be deleted. In the output of the report, the number of selected and deleted (and to be deleted) documents are output.
The setting options in the selection screen are described below.
    Reorganization mode
Here you can set which documents are to be reorganized: Documents for which send requests exist, or documents for which no send requests exist. Both options are selected by default, which corresponds to the behavior of the report RSBCSRE03 as of Release SAP_BASIS 640.  We recommend this setting because it is the best setting for selecting the data. If only documents without send requests are to be reorganized, this corresponds to the behavior of report RSSORE00. If none of the fields are selected, nothing is deleted.
    Selection period
              o Specify creation date
If this field is selected, you can specify the creation date of the documents in the fields below.
              o Specify age in days
If this field is selected, two other fields are displayed in which you can specify the age of documents relative to the actual date. The system determines the related creation date during runtime (or by choosing <ENTER>). If you double-click an input field, you can (as with all selection options) choose free selections. With the setting "Larger", for example, you can select "Delete documents that are older than 90 days".
    Further restriction of choice
By choosing "Document data" and "Send requests", you can restrict the selection further.
o Document class, object year, object number
These correspond to the ID of the document on the database (table SOOD). A document can be clearly identified in this way. The object year is a number, which begins in 1975 with 0 Therefore, object year 30 is the year 2005. You can find values for the fields mentioned above in transaction SOST (for example), by choosing 'Details' for a send request. Note that you can create main documents only. The definition of attachments is also created in the SOOD. However, documents are only deleted together with the respective main document.
o Address type and status code
Note that these attributes are recipient-dependent. If values are entered in these fields, a document may not be deleted if more recipients with other values still exist.
              o Expired send requests
If the field "Only expired send requests" is selected, only documents whose related send requests have an expired expiry date or documents that have been selected explicitly for deletion are deleted. Send requests without an expiry date are not deleted.
    Options
              o Maximum number of hits
The maximum number of hits can limit the runtime. Note that the data is not read in a sorted manner from the database, so that not only the oldest documents are created if the maximum number of hits is restricted. The maximum number of hits corresponds to the selected and not the deleted documents. In principal, we recommend that you restrict the maximum number of hits using the selection period.
              o Packet size
The packet size determines the number of data records that can be read, checked and deleted by the database at one time. In the productive run, a database commit occurs after each packet. An increase in the packet size can produce an increase in performance, whereby more working memory is also required however. Depending on the volume of data and the database system used, small values can also lead to better performance.
              o Detailed output
If you set the "Detailed Output" option, more details related to the selected documents are displayed. If the field is selected, the number of documents to be deleted per year is output. Furthermore,  the number of documents per year that cannot be deleted for certain reasons is output. You can display a list of the respective documents by double-clicking in the online run. If you double-click a document in this list, all uses for this document are displayed.
              o Test mode
If the "Test mode" field is selected, no database changes are carried out, but the entries to be deleted are counted and output. All specified counters are approximate values in the test mode, and since no deletions are carried out, the values can deviate from those of the productive run. Furthermore, several entries cannot be created in the test mode (for example, how many address references or Knowledge Provider documents are to be deleted).
There is a problem with system performance.
As with the preceding reports, we recommend that you regularly schedule the report RSBCS_REORG as a background job. If a large amount of data has accumulated, you can expect a correspondingly long runtime.
    Packet size
As already aforementioned, the setting of the packet size can produce an improvement in the runtime, whereby no general rule can be given here. The default value of 500 has proved to the best on average during tests on different systems with different databases.
    Database indices
The main selection of data occurs in table SOOD. The selection options under "Selection period" and "Document data" correspond directly to fields of this table. The database index DAT for field SOOD-MANDT and SOOD-CRDAT are therefore delivered with the Support Package related to this note. Since the date is the most important selection option, you should create this index manually, and activate it when you implement the corrections using Note Assistant.
    Database statistics
These statistics should be current when the report is running. This is valid at least for the following tables:
