No one here works for Apple.
Go to System Preferences > Trackpad > Scroll & Zoom, and uncheck Scroll direction: Natural.

  • F.05 -   why the entries are being reversed even though I did not tick the

    Hi,
Please advice why the entries are being reversed even though I did not tick the reversal button in F.05.
Your assitance is very much appreciated.

    Hi,
It is a standard SAP procedure by which the revaluation entries are automatically reversed. If you do not want to reverse the revaluation entries, you will have to Activate Delat Logic for the Valuation Area. SPRO Path is Financial Accounting (New)--> General Ledger Accounting (New) > Periodic Processing> Valuate --> Activate Delta Logic.
Once you activate this Delta Logic, at the time of fc valuation, you will get the check box for Annual or Mid Term revalation will come. If you select the annual option, the automatic reversal will not happen.

  • Songs are in reverse order on iPad, but correct on iTunes

I have a number of Smart Playlists that look fine when displayed on iTunes, but when iTunes copies them to my iPad Air, the list of albums shows up in the correct order but the songs in each album are sorted in reverse order.
So for example, I have a Smart Playlist defined where "Artist is Jean Michel Jarre".  That playlist is sorted by Year in list view and by Year-then-Title in Grid view.
When I look at that same Playlist on my iPad Air, all of his albums appear in chronological order (which I expect), but the songs on each album are listed last-to-first.  So Oxygene (his first album) shows up before Equinoxe (his second album), but the list of songs on the Oxygene album are shown as: Part VI, Part V, Part IV, Part III, Part II, Part I.  All of the albums on the list are in the right order, but the list of songs on each album appears backwards in each one.
This is just one example of a bug that manifests itself a lot on my iPad.  I have a lot of Smart Playlists that misbehave just like this.  I deal with it by creating not-smart playlists that are exact copies of the Smart Playlists -- but honestly, why offer Smart Playlists if they're not going to display correctly?  If they're this buggy, why am I using them at all?
Does anybody know of a workaround for this bug?  Does anybody know whether Apple is aware of it, and if they have any plans to fix it?  Please? Maybe? Someday?

I am now home from work, and over the past hour I have tried every combination of up-arrows, down-arrows, Copy To Play Order, sorting on the leftmost column, sorting on the Year column, etc. etc. that I could think of.  I believe I have followed your recommendations slavishly and to the letter.
My Jean Michel Jarre Smart Playlist is sorted with the triangle on the leftmost column, and in iTunes, the playlist order is correct.  I have sync'd my iTunes library to the iPad several times, I have unchecked that playlist, performed the sync again to remove it from the iPad entirely, checked it again and performed the sync again -- I have also tried closing the Music app on the iPad and restarting it -- I've also tried deliberately sorting the tracks in iTunes in reverse order to see if the iPad does anything any differently, including a "Copy to Play Order" for good luck -- and every combination of all of these choices results in exactly the same outcome: on the iPad, albums show up in chronological order, and tracks in each album show up in reverse order.  Nothing I do makes any difference at all.
Here's hoping iOS 8 at least doesn't make things any worse.  Maybe if the gods are smiling, it might actually solve this problem.  I was hoping that the upgrade to iTunes 11.4 might have made a difference, but, sadly, no such luck ... which is why my hopes for salvation in iOS 8 are not high ... but that doesn't stop me from being grateful to you for trying to help.  Thank you for your time.  I do appreciate it.

  • Images in roll are in reverse frame order

Greetings from a Mac and iPhoto newbie,
I just had 7 rolls worth of 35mm film negs scanned to (7) CDs by the local drugstore and I loaded the photos onto iPhoto. No problem there, but I then realized that the lab had scanned my photos in reverse order (ie. frame #1 is now 24, frame 2 is 23, etc.)
So now my photos appear as an iPhoto "roll" backwards from how they were shot in the camera. I suppose I could manually change the time on each and every photo to force it to whatever order I want, but that would be a bit of work to do.
My question: Is there an easy way to reverse the photo order on each of the rolls?
    thanks for any assistance!

The files will be sorted by the capture date or, in the case of scanned files, the scanned or modified date of the file. This will reverse when you change the ascending to descending. If the files were scanned you need to check the which date of the actual file that is being used. PhotoInfo can open a folder of files and display and change the capture date. Try it to see if there is a capture date and what is the order of the dates.
If it's the captured or modified date that's being used the only application that can change those is Mira. The downside to it is that all files in a folder are batched changed to the same date and time (if you select the time option). There's no option to add a delta time between each subsequent file.
    Do you Twango?
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

  • Images are color-reversed i.e. "negative image"

Opened an existing file in pages that has jpeg images in it. They are reversed.
I pasted a new image into it. It is also reversed. In others words, mostly just a black square, but you can see the originally-dark areas as light areas.
A few months ago I upgraded my OS to Tiger.
    thanks for any help.

If the image contains a color profiile, it's used.
    Correct.
If not, a generic color profile is used that is appropriate for the file in some way.
    Correct.
If you place a photograph with RGB image data, whether the file format is TIFF, JPEG, or PNG, and if there is no ICC profile in the image, the system automatically assigns the Generic RGB Profile.
In OS X 10.5 and lower this is for gamma 1.8 and 6500 Kelvin with Sony Trinitron phosphors. In OS X 10.6 and higher this is sRGB for a higher gamma and a paler, less punchy appearance.
When I don't embed the suggested color profile when saving from Photoshop, the colors are a little off when printing
Photoshop version 6 and higher has the ability to assign a source ICC profile while the image data is in Photoshop's memory and is shown in the ColorWorld configured for Photoshop window, but not to include that ICC soruce profile when the image data is saved to disk.
The following application then has to assume a source ICC profile and assign that when configuring a ColourWorld, the principle of thing being that a colour matching session, called a ColorWorld, has to have an ICC source, one or more ICC intermediate, and a destination ICC profile.
If it helps, take a look at the posts by the previous Product Manager for Colour and Imaging, John Zimmerer. These posts apply to Mac OS X 10.3 and higher.

  • Accounting entries are not reversed

    Dear Sir/Madam,
We have canceled an excise invoice through transaction code J1IS. The
excise invoice was for other movements and created in J1IS only. The
excise entries were canceled but the accounting entries are not canceledafter the cancellation.
how to cancel the accounting entries and why the accounting entries are
not canceled after cancellation of excise invoice.
    regards
    Ashish

    Hello Ashish,
Cancellation of part 2 (FI) has to be done through J1IH > Cancel EI.
If you have run in J1IS, then you have to reverse the FI document in FB08.

  • Using CS6 and pasting pictures-nametags are now reversed -am i missing a setting?

I am working with CS6 and pasting pictures into a card that was designed.  when I drag and drop, the order becomes reversed.  this wouldn't be bad but the nametags are all backwards.  Is there a setting that I can change?  Thanks...

Please delete your personal info when replying to the forum by email...
It sounds like your frames have a flip attibute being applied by default. This could be the result of having clicked the flip button with nothing selected.
And you should only drag and drop images from Bridge, Finder, or Explorer. From anywhere else it is the equivalent of pasting and you will not get good results.

  • Qosmio F55 - Replaced LCD and brightness controls are backwards reversed

    Hi,
the LCD for my Qosmio F55-Q502 cracked and I ordered the same part and when I installed it, everything works nice and all but the brightness up and down are reversed. Like Fn+F6 makes it brighter while Fn+F7 makes it darker? The original that came with it was a lp154wp1 (tl) (e1) but one I got is a lp154wp1 (tl) d1).
Does anyone think that bit of a variation of the model can make it reverse the controls? Even on Windows when you slider the brighness to the right it will dim and to the left it brightens. Also for anyone else that needs info on their Qosmio F55, the original is a lp154wp1 (tl) (e1) and its also known as lp154wp1 (tl) (a3) that is written on the lcd board. The replacement lp154wp1 (tl) (d1) is also known as a lp154wp1 (tl) (a2) also written on the lcd board
Any suggestions or help would be appreciated!

    Hi hulkster,
Where you have ordered the new display and is it an original Toshiba spare part?
If yes I would contact an authorized service provider or the shop where you purchased it. In my opinion the screen is not 100% compatible to your model. This would also explain the different part numbers that you posted

  • Open and Save dialog boxes are sorted reverse alpahbetically by default

I have a user that experiences the same frustrating experience every time she restarts Apple Mail. All of her open and save dialog boxes in Mail are sorted from Z to A. She can click the name field to change the sort, but it will return to Z-A if she quits and reopens the program. The Finder is set (and stays) at A-Z. Other applications do not exhibit this problem. I am loathe to reset the preferences since that means having to set up accounts again. Restarting the computer and removing user caches made no difference. Any suggestions?  This is an iMac Mid 2008 running Mac OS X 10.6.8.

I solved my own question through trial and error.
Just select "None" on the dropdown selector (see screen capture, above) and the Open/Save dialog will revert to the older version.

  • AVI files are color reversed

Hi. I've been given a disk with a few AVI files in them. They came from a high-speed panasonic video camera. When I open them in FCP or QT, the colors are all messed up. The basic picture is there but instead of what it should be, everything is brilliant yellows and pinks.
Could this be a CODEC issue? Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Mark
    FCP 6.0.6

This sounds like a color space transformation issue: the conversion from the internal working color space of the Panasonic WRAW to the output color space (RGB) is not happening.
You'll need to find an application that can open the files in their native color space and the convert them for you. It's not uncommon for specialized software to be needed to open raw files. And, there are numerous "raw" formats, new ones keep getting introduced and some get abandoned.
The support pages for the camera that shot the clips are probably the best place to check. That, or a user forum for those who have shot or shoot with this camera.

  • Certain playlists are in reverse order

    Dear All,
All of my music on my iPhone has sync'ed properly, but in one play list titled "Purchased", all the songs are listed from oldest to newest, even though in my iTunes database, they are sorted by most recent purchases first.
Other than manually moving the songs using the edit function while in Music, can I get them sorted the way I wanted them to play?
    Thanks-

How many icons do you keep on the desktop - and why?
Performance tip: Keep the Desktop clutter-free (empty, if possible)
Mac OS X's Desktop is the de facto location for downloaded files, and for many users, in-progress works that will either be organized later or deleted altogether. The desktop can also be gluttonous, however, becoming a catch-all for files that linger indefinitely.
Unfortunately - aside from the effect of disarray it creates - keeping dozens or hundreds of files on the Desktop can significantly degrade performance. Not necessarily because the system is sluggish with regard to rendering the icons on the desktop and storing them in memory persistently (which may be true in some cases), but more likely because keeping an excessive number of items on the Desktop can cause the windowserver process to generate reams of logfiles, which obviously draws resources away from other system tasks. Each of your icons on your desktop is stored as a window in the window server, not as an alias. The more you have stored, the more strain it puts on the window server. Check your desktop for unnecessary icons and clear them out.
Keeping as few items as possible on the Desktop can prove a surprisingly effective performance boon. Even creating a single folder on your Desktop and placing all current and future clutter inside, then logging out and back in can provide an immediately noticeable speed boost, particularly for the Finder.
And it is why Apple invented 'Stacks' for Leopard.
Here is Apple's take on the subject:
