ARE documents for non exciseable goods

Dear Experts,
If the finished goods is not exciseable then whether the followings documents are required in export sale and deemed export sale.
1.In  export sale- ARE 1 document
2 In deemed Export - ARE 3 document
In general
1. Is bond mandatory if we ship the goods to foreign customer.
2. Is license mandatory in deemed export( For non exciseable product)
Please clarify my doubts.
Regards
JP

Hai,
Any material manufactured or taken out of the manufacturing unit/ Plant - you are suppose to charge the excise duty according to law.
So all the scenarios you asked will be excisable. If the plant is not a manufacturing unit and Trading unit, then i think the material can be exported with out excise duty.

Sudhir

4.what accounts are generated for Non-Valuated material & for Consignment material?
    please explain me.

    Dear Srinivas,
Please find below the explanation about both materials in a simple manner.
      "Non valuated material".(UNBW):
For this material type in the basic settings only Qty. update is active & no value update.
No accounting data is maintained in Material master hence stock values are not updated. This material is procured only with account assignment.
Consumption statistic is updated only after Goods Issue.Whenever material will come its value will be always go to consumption account.
    Consignment Material :
In this case material is still owned by vendor & only kept in your premises. Liability only starts when you withdraw material from consignment stock or post it to your own valuated stock.Liabilities are generally settled monthly.
At GR wrt PO material is directly put to consignment stock of vendor. It is possible to post another GR into consignment stock. No valuation takes place during GR.
Once the material is withdrawn from consignment stock( For prod) it is valuated with the price of vendor in as per INFO record.
    If useful reward points,

  • No accounting document for asset post goods

    Hi Friends,
I created asset PO, and goods receipt it. but I realized that there is no accounting document against this post goods.
    Did I miss something?
    Pleaser advise.
    thanks,
    Linda

    Hi
Check in transaction code OME9 for account assignment category A whether GR non valuated in ticked. It might be ticked.
Then in PO also you see that check box in delivery tab. It is a standard behavior. if it is ticked
Then invoice verfication asset gets debited and vendor gets credited. No GRIR clearing account involved as it is non valuted GR

I don't want to inventorise the goods, i want to book directly in expenses g/l.
what are the financial effects while goods reciepts and invoice verification.

    Hi
For non trade PO (like stationery), you can directly book the invoice through FB60. There is no need to route such item through PO.

  • No COPA document for Cost of Goods Sold

I am using both account-based and costing-based COPA.  All transactions from SD billing and FI are posted to COPA. However, document type WL (goods issue/delivery) does not create a profitability analysis document even if the profitability segment in the accounting document is filled up with values for the goods issued.
I have also assigned condition type VPRS as a value field in KE41.
What should I do to post the cost of goods sold to COPA?
    Thanks,
    Agnes

    Hello Agnes,
As far as Account-based goes, you do not need value fields, as account-based uses GL accounts to post in CO-PA. So, there is no need to do mapping in KEI2.
KE4I and KEI2 should not have the same mapping.
It is important to keep in mind that Cost-based uses value fileds, and that COGS gets posted at time of billing (whereas FI gets the COGS at time of Goods Issue).
In Account-based, GL accounts are being used, and COGS is posted in both FI and CO-PA at the same time, that is at Goods Issue.
    Hoping this helps!

  • How can I create template documents for non-InDesign users to edit the text of later?

I'm looking to produce a small system for people within my company to edit and print labels as needed that comply with our internal design standards. I would like to use InDesign to produce a few templates for labels that people could then edit one or two fields later on, things like item name and ID number. I'm not averse to producing a small application in XCode that users can start up, enter their data and it saves the printer-ready label sheet to their desktop. I started out using Acrobat Pro, but I'm running into trouble embedding fonts for use in form fields, centering text, and outputting a filled-in pdf for print use, and not a form that submits info to an email or server. If InDesign is the wrong tool for the job of setting up a template like this, please feel free to suggest another route.

I would direct you to the Acrobat forums, personally. You can enable rich-text formatting of Acrobat form fields from within Acrobat Pro, and also IIRC embed fonts for use in form fields. If you can spec out what you mean by "fine detail that we'd need" then we, or someone over at the Acrobat forums, can tell you whether or not rich text in Acrobat forms will work for you. I suggest this to you because centering text for Acrobat form fields is dead easy, so I suspect you've not investigated the tools available in Acrobat after you've exported the PDF from InDesign.
Post-export PDF data merge sounds like, I dunno, variable-data printing? which doesn't sound like it would fit your case.

  • Is there a way to embed an unencrypted "replacement document" for non IRM-aware clients?

    would this be possible?
IRM-Encrypt the "real" document, but place an unencrypted descriptive page to be shown by clients
    not being IRM-capable or -aware?
    Dilettanto

It is probably not exactly what you want, but I think you could have an unencrypted PDF that anyone could view, with the encrypted PDF attached to it.  You can not achieve what you want with a single PDF file.

  • Non-valuated Goods Receipt

    Hello Experts,
My client is using Special Purpose Ledger. While doing a Non Valuated Goods receipt we are not getting any Financial Postings and FI documents are generated at the time of IR, which is correct. But we are getting a single line spl  posting at the time of GR.
So the question is when no FI document is getting generated for non valuated GR , why SPL document is getting generated?
Please share your experience if any of you has encountered such issues.
    Regards,
    Chandra

    Hi Chandra,
FI-SL is - amongst others - meant for posting statistical entries using quantity values (see also: [Document Entry Directly in FI-SL|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/da/6ada3889432f48e10000000a114084/frameset.htm]).
Thus a SPL document is created for non-valuated goods receipts while FI documents can't be created without values unequal to zero.
I am still looking for a solution to disable the creation of those statistical SPL entries since we do not want them. Any idea, someone?
    With best regards,

  • Auto-copy putaway quantity in Inbound for Non-WMS storage location

    Dear All SAP Gurus,
I need to create an inbound delivery document for non-WM managed storage location and "copy" the quantity into the "putaway quantity" field automatically. Is there any setting to do this automatic assignment? As far as I know, if the storage location is non-WM managed, we usually need to manually enter the putaway quantity as part of the verification process during the PGR (goods receipt).
    Please help.
Thank you and appreciated for your efforts.

  • Table for non ledger line items

    hi
Iam pulling the report for non leading ledger with T code FAGLB03 and found 2 cost objects(cost center and WBSE)  in line items whereas for leading ledger only WBSE is showing. We know that for leading ledger entries are maintained in table  FAGLFLEXT.  From which table non leading ledger entries gets pulled. Your early response is appreciated.
In the entry view cost center is there but in GL view cost center is not populated.

    Thanks Bhandari
But user posting with 2 real objects (WBSE and CC) for which only WBSE is updating in total table. When i run line item report using FAGLB03, both objects are showing for non leading ledger similar to FS10N. But only WBSE is showing for leading ledger. Is FAGLB03 derive the data from BSEG table for non leading ledger.

  • Criteria in smart collection relevant for non-photo formats?

How does one set criteria when creating smart collection that are relevant for non-photo files (or, better yet, extend it to the full range of metadata in the file info panels).

A collection is just an address of the image.  So if the item has a file location would think you can use it.  Of course metadata has no address.

  • BOM explosion in MRP for non-stock material

    Dear friends,
I have a non-stock(bom item category 'N')  service material setup as a component in my production BOM, which during MRP run, should create a Planned order or Purchase requisition for that non-stock component. But, when I run MRP for the top-level material, it doesn't create any requirement for that service material, while all other stock material(Bom item category L), it generated dependant requirements.
    Appreciate your help.
    Thanks
    Suri

    Dear Suri,,
    Please go through this.
<b><u>Non-Stock Items</u></b>  Use this item category if you want to enter a
material that is not kept in stock before use, and that is only procured for a
specific planned order or production order.
The material is only rarely required for a custom-made product and is used
directly in the product as a purchased part.
    <u><b>Before you start</b></u>
You can enter a non-stock item either with or without a material master. If you
enter a non-stock item without a material master, you must enter a description.
For non-stock items, you have to maintain purchasing data in the bill of material.
You enter the following materials as non-stock items because the quantities are
not updated in the material master record:
o     Materials with a material type that supports configuration
o     Pipeline materials, which can be taken from a pipeline at any time
    <u><b>
    Special functions</b></u>
The following functions are supported for non-stock items
    •     You maintain purchasing data for non-stock items in the bill of material.
    •     In the planning run, the system generates purchase requisitions
instead of dependent requirements for components that are procured directly.
When you configure your R/3 System for MRP, you can define whether direct
procurement is triggered by the planning run or by production order management.
    •     Product costing processes take valuation data from the BOM item.
The system determines the release strategy on the basis of the price data you
enter. The material group is required to produce a purchase requisition.
