Assembly to order: change in sales order with change in Production order

I want to activate change in the sales order data when a production order(which is created w.r.t the sales order) data is changed (Strategy 82 used); I have de-activated "No Update" for the corresponding requirement class 201; also the material for which SO created ,is not a part of any Delivery group.
But when I am changing the production order (date/qty.), SO isn't getting updated accoringly.
Please tell me the reason why it isn't happening!!

Hi
The sales order requirement can be made as the production order receipt once you save the order in the system.
so it is possible to change the receipt according to the sales order reqmt if any changes made in the sales order,
in every entry or changes in the sales order ( if you use the stategy 82) . in back end system explode the BOM and the create the production order as per the order reqmt,
even while you do the changes mad in the sales and save that time sytem re explode the BOM once again and change the production order qty.
but if you change the production order , system not re run or explode the BOM , Routing . such setting is not made in the system . so obviously updation will not happen for the sales order .

  • Change in confirmed quantity resulting in another production order

    HI Gurus
I have an issue where the user changes the confirmed quantity in sales order schedule lines it is resulting in creation of
    another production order.
    PRocess flow:
    In depot
    1) creation  of sales order which has scedule line category CP MRP requirements are passed to Plant to create a production order
    In PLANT
    1) Run MD03
    2) create planned order and then production order
    3)create stock transfer order STO
Suppose A sales order is created today and the system gave a confirmed qty date as 10-02-2010. Here requirements are passed resulting in a Production order.
now when the user goes and changes the confirmed qty or date the system is creating another production order
My requirement is not to have another production order when the user changes the date or quantity
    regards

    Dear Farrukh,
There is not tcode to run sales order for all line items, but if you run MD02 it will plan all sales order & line items also. You can run MD02.

  • Post GM with reference to Production Order using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

    Hi Experts,
We need to post Goods Movement with reference to Production order. In brief, we have to get the functionality of MB1A done. I'm trying to use BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE, but its not reflecting the Documented Goods Movements in the Production Order.
Here is the data i'm using:
goodsmvt_header : posting date, document date
    goodsmvt_code : 03
    goodsmvt_item:
    material
    plant
    storage loc
    batch
    mov typ : 261
    ENTRY_QNT
    ENTRY_UOM
    ENTRY_UOM_ISO
    order id
Sometimes it generates material doc and year in exporting parameter, and sometimes it gives message "Content of order zzzzzzz : yyyyyyy transferred to interface (IMSEG): xxxxxxx".
But despite of this I cannot see the Documented Goods Movements reflecting in the Production Order.
Can anyone help on this. Is there anything else to be passed or I'm missing any process ?

    Experts,
I could get the postings done with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE. I was executing BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE and then BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT separately, thus the generated Material doc number was not getting posted. When I used the Test Sequence option from SE37 menu, it worked.

  • Change of sales order in combination with planned/released production order

    Hi Guru's,
How do you deal with changes in the sales order in combination with planned orders and the scenario how to deal with release production orders?
Can you tell me the SAP scenario, technically or reports or transactions or user exits, etc?
    Thank you in advance,
    Eric

    Here You have 2 scenarios
    1. Sales order changed at planned order stage
In this case any chagne of quantity done in the sales order level will be taken care by the Planned order until it was not firmed .
In case if it was firmed for the increased qty you will get a new planned order getting created.
In case if it is reduced and if it was unfirmed it will get changed accordingly
    2. Sales order changed at production  order stage
if the planned order was converted to production order change we can manually changes the respective Production order util no confirmation was done to any operations..
is all this scenariors you are looking for if it is helpful let me know
    thanks..

  • Assemble-to-order with spliting the Production Order

    Hello,
I'm new to SAP and we just implemented the SAP System.
My Experince is from one year as Process Owner for PP in our Project.
I have a specific Question regarding the assemble to order process.
So far we did not implemet Capacity Planning in the System, but I would like to use it.
    The Idea is the following:
    1. There is a sales order coming for 1pc of Product. The scheduling is carried out, ATP-Check and so on. The production order is created and at least the capa is placed on the end of the chain (using quetimes). One Product needs 60min to assemble.
    2. more orders are comeing in, all consuming 60min of capa on that day. If the capa is used, move to later date until capa is back again. this also should be now Problem to set as far as I understand what I have learned already
    3. What i do not like... If I get orders with too many qty.... I would like to hav a maximum qty. where the order gets splited and moved forward to the next day... so... Customer orders 10, 5 are placed on Tuesday, 5 on wednesday and so on.
Each of those "Splits" should have one production order header.
Any idea how I can reach that?
Thanks, hope I will find a solution
    BR Marian

    Marian,
Standard ERP Sales order ATP cannot be made to confirm Sales orders based on capacity availability.  All capacity related conflicts and resolutions are done during dispatching, which is a separate step.
If you need SO ATP to consider available capacity while confirming the Sales order, you could use functionality that exists in APO.  Otherwise, in ERP, you are facing custom development.
Assemble to order in general is restrictive as to what types of scheduling can be permitted.  There is no automatic production order splitting in standard SAP ATO.  Some manual manipulation is permitted.  Of course, with custom development, you are only limted by your imagination.

  • Alt bom components with ATP check - production order resets usage prob.

    Hello,
I have searched many threads for this answer.  Here is my scenario
BOM for finished good X  has the following components
Component   |    Usage Prob   |    Strategy    |  Alt Item Group   |   Priority
    A          |             55%         |         2         |         1             |              1
    B          |              45%        |         2         |          1            |               2
When I create the production order for 100 units, components A and B are proposed respectively (per usage probability, as expected)   - like so
    Production Order
    Component A = 55 units
    Component B = 45 units
Here is the requirement - Component B at any given time is restricted by federal law to not be used for material X for more than 45% of its make up. Therefore my client cannot build X with more than 45% of component B.  However, we always want to use at most 45%.  IF component B is not available, transfer all or partial confirmation to Component A.
    Issue:
ATP and usage probabilities will not work.  Whenever I run ATP check for production order, the component with the highest priority get all the reqirements (if inventory permits).  The production order master data is 'reset' by the ATP check (the usage probability on the component will change from 45% to 100%)
    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    futsol ,
Maintainance is not required, it say manual maintainance is possible if required.
if you set it 1 system will check the proportion and do the reservation accordingly , if even in production order if you check availabity it will not change the quantity proportion, if its 2 , its meant for alloting the 100 % available component.if A is not 100% available it will replace it with B , if B is availabe to cover total quantity and vice versa.
by giving 1 it gives you option to change proportion as per your wish , if the any of the alternative is not available to fullfill rerquirement., for example in your case component B , if its available you want to use it 45% all the time , but if its not availabe the you can change the proportion or quantity for A in that specific production order only.
I dont know if there is any other way.
Check again with strategy 1 .
    Hope it helps you .

  • Can SAP take scrap into account with determining open production order qty?

SAP appears to completely ignore scrap on production orders.  This isn't working for us.  What we would like is something like this:
If the production order is for 20, we've confirmed scrap of 2, and confirmed 10 good, then the open quantity should be 8.  The next time MRP runs, it should re-schedule the 2 for a later date.
I didn't see any way to accomplish this through settings on the order, or through configuration.  Can anyone recommend a user exit I can use to accomplish this, or did I miss a setting somewhere?
    Thanks,
    Randy

    Hi Randy,
The scrap you are confirming is basically unplanned scrap...That is basically for consuming the components for the scrapped quantity ...but not to affect the total production.
In your case you can maintain assembly scrap in material master...so that system will plan extra material while the MRP..
For ex , if u want toa chieve a final qty of 100 & ur scrapping pattern is 20% ..syatem will plan for 12 % so that u can achieve 100 at the end of production.

  • Exit for changing Components in ME21N based on the production Order

    Hi,
I have a scenerio in which, while creating PO in ME21N for subcontracting(Item category 'L') against a PR, the components for the material should come with my own logic i.e. it will have its production order number, with this production number i will get material of production order. Now i will get the BOM of this material and want to fill the next screen with the same BOM components. So please can anybody help me out how to work out for this problem. I looked for user exit and BADI but was not able to find anything, or is there some other way to do it. Help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Help with SQL Code - Production Order with Manual Issue Method

    Hi,
    I need some assistance here.
I need to retrieve Production Order which has component's issue method = 'M'.
    Eg:
Production Order #50001 has 4 components.
    Component A, issue method = 'M'
    Component B, issue method = 'B'
    Component C, issue method = 'B'
    Component D, issue method = 'M'
Production Order #50002 has 2 components.
    Component B, issue method = 'B'
    Component C, issue method = 'B'
When I run the query, I want to display the Production #50001 componenets simply because in this Production Order, it contains components with issued method 'M'.   However, Production #50002 will not be displayed because no components are with issued method = M.
    Appreicate any help in advance.

No, this is not what I need.
To put in IssueMethod in the where clause will only gives me the component line with Manual.
    Please refer to the example.
I have a production order which, its components have combination of issue method = 'Manual' as well as Backflush.
I need to display all of them within the Production Order if the production order contain any line which has issue method = Manual.

  • Change of storage bin while cancellation of production order.

    Hi Gurus,
The problem is while confirming the order the stock for that order is consuming from one storage bin (say  1ECMEL) , but when I cancel the same  production order the same stock was returning to another storage bin (say 1MD01A) instead of the 1ECMEL from which it is consumed.
We want to re-move the stock after cancellation of production order to the same storage bin that from which the stock was consumed during the confirmation.
    Please advise...
    Thank you.
    Naveen.A

    Hi,
Please check the material master (mm02) in that if u have maintain default storage location in purchasing view for raw materail and workscheduling viewe for fert system will consider that as default storage bin at the time of confirmation and also for cancelation.
    Please try with this.

  • Distributing Price Differences posted with  MIRO to production orders

    Dear guru ,
I know DUV that distribute consumption differences from a physical inventory to production orders.
After the production order consumptions (mvt. Type 261) for these materials we posted the prices differences with MIRO between the purchase order price and the invoice.
Does exist a tool like DUV (or other) in order to distribute these differences in price to the production orders that have consumed these materials ?
    Thanks in advance

To me it looks like the material ledger is the standard tool for doing what you want to do (although it doesn't actually post price differences from purchases to production order but rather distributes them to the receiving materials on the level of the actual price calculation)

  • $10 Rewards for Destiny pre-order and $10 Bestbuy Giftcard with Evil Within pre-order

I have yet to receive either of these.  I understand my Destiny purchase still says pending (although I received my $10 rewards for Madden 15 within a week of me picking up purchase).  When should I receive the $10 rewards certificate?
Also, I pre-ordered Evil Within months ago and I see now that anyone that pre-orders get a $10 giftcard.  Shouldn't I still get this?
If anyone can help and correct this, it would be greatly appreciated.  My member # - (removed per forum guidelines)
    Thanks!
    Brandon

    Not a problem!
Whenever a BestBuy.com order is cancelled (or returned), any funds held for that order are automatically refunded to the original form of payment. This process typically takes 2-3 business days for gift cards, while reward certificates are applied back to your My Best Buy account in the same length of time. For debit and credit cards, the exact timeframe required before the funds are available again is dependent on the card's issuing bank.
If you no longer have the original gift card, then we can issue a replacement with the remaining balance. To request a replacement, simply give our gift card support team a call at 1-888-716-7994 or leave us a message in the BestBuy.com board. Additional info on gift cards can also be found here:
    BestBuy.com > Help Center > Gift Cards

    I hope this helps.

  • Production Orders without material - component reservations in APO

    Hi All,
We are using transaction CO07 to create a production order without material. We have four materials in the BOM for this production order. One is an input product and three are output products. My intention is to have the components on this BOM show up in APO as reservations or something else that will be considered in our planning.
At this point I am not able to see anything in APO system (e.g order reservations) like I would with a regular production order with material. Does anyone have any experience with this functionality or know if it is supported by SAP?
    Thank you,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
It is an interesting case, a don't know if you have solved it. Anyway, here is my suggestion -
    1) If you want to see a reservation in APO for a component, you need to make sure that the header product exists in APO as well, and the production order for this header has also been CIFed over to APO. This is the first check.
    2) If the first check is OK, then you should check that all the 3 header products exist in APO (In your case, you have 3 three header products). And then, the production order appears for all the 3 products in product view.
With the above checks, I am certain, you should see the reservation for the component, else it is an ieal OSS candidate.
    Thanks,
    Prashant Ghule

  • Plant change in Sales Order not possible due to Sales Order BOM

    Hi all,
we are trying to change the Delivery Plant in a Sales Order after the creation of a Sales Order BOM, but it gives a V1773 message first, then a blocking error V1810. The same happens with a Production Order.
How can we change the Delivery Plant after the creation of one of these objects?
    Our scenario:
    - Make To Order
    - Sales Order BOM created with transaction CS61
    - Sales Order Routing created with transaction CA01
We need to create the Sales Order BOM on the Production Plant (which doesn't change), but we need to be able to change the Delivery Plant in any time.
Should you have further questions, feel free to ask.
    Thanks in advance,
    Giuseppe

    Hello Caselli,
For V1773, please check the solution provided by note 588884, which is a modification. With this note it turns possible to delete all multi-level sales order BOM using transaction CSKB, which may be useful.
The behavior mentioned by you is the standard behavior of the system. The scenario works as designed, a plant change is only possible as long as there is no other document assigned to the sales order.
    Longtext of V1 810 says:
The plant can no longer be changed in the following situations:
        2. There is a production order for the order item but it is not a static assembly order.
Your scenario seems to be point 2 as mentioned above. You can check the requirement type (VBAP-BEDAE) and requirement class in OVZH and assembly type (MNTGA) in OVZG.
If you change the plant for the items with existing production orders, it will cause the incorrect values in the COPA. An order item is assigned to plant A and the corresponding production order exits. This
means that the costs are assigned to plant A (this is the place where the costs accrue). Order and production order will be balanced at plant A.
If you now, after the process has already started, should allow to change the order to plant B the following examples of problems will come up:
    - The costs accrued in plant A (see production order)
    - The SD order is now assigned to plant B, this means billing will be with plant B
This leads to the fact the costs are on plant A, plant B has a benefit. Plant A cannot settle the costs and plant B has unexpected earnings. Inconsistencies in all involved process steps, SD, CO, COPA are the results.
If you want to change the plant in the sales order you'll have to perform these steps:
    = Delete the production order.
= Change the plant of the sales order item from A to C.
This should be possible unless there are other documents which are already assigned to this sales    order item. Save.
= Create a new production order and assign it to the sales order item again.
I hope I am able to help you with this information.

  • Mass change on production order (assembly type) to put deletion flag status

    Dear all,
I've make a mass change on production orders to settle the status DLFL through the Tcode CO78.
Some of the production orders  are "assembly order" type. Those could not be up-dated with the DLFL because there are linked to customer order. The customers orders are closed.
What can I do to change the status for this kind of production orders. It is necessary for me to be able to put the DLFL status in order to improve the process of production closure done each month.

    Hi kiran
Thanks for the response. As I cannot put deletion indicator on the Assembly order directly, Do we have to put deletion indicator on the sales order item?. If so, Can we put a deletion indicator after the sales order was delivered and invoiced. What exactly have you guys done to put deletion flag on the production order.

  • Change in Sales order deleted all process production order

    Dear All,
We have Make to order scenario for our export sales. When we have receive order we make production with reference of sales order with help of t-code MD50 then convert plan order into production order.
IF sales department do changes in sales order it'll delete all processing production orders So, we have to do revoke all production orders manually.
2 query is that, Is there any way to run MRP (Make-to-order) on all line items of sales order ?
    Please provide solution.
    Thanks,
    Farrukh khan

    Dear Farrukh,
There is not tcode to run sales order for all line items, but if you run MD02 it will plan all sales order & line items also. You can run MD02.
