Hi,
I need to assign a accoutn number (XD03 account) to a personnel number to use the consignment stock for technicians.
Can anybody help, where do I maintain this relation?

    PRAA works absolutely fine. I have external number range for vendors.
    There is an option so that you can create HR accounts in vendor accounts
    Path:Accounting> Financial accounting>Travel
    management>Personal-Related Master Data> Create Vendors (tr.code PRAA)
    Look at this description:
    From the HR master data, this program creates a batch input session for
    maintaining person-specific vendor master records.
    The report can process vendor master records as follows:
    o Initial set up (create/add missing company code segment)
    o Uupdate (change completely according to vendor and HR reference)
    o Change (only according to HR master data, for example, name
    Block
    The following infotypes from HR master data are taken into account for
    the key date specified:
    o Actions (Infotype 0000)
    o Organizational Assignment (Infotype 0001)
    o Personal Data (Infotype 0002)
    o Permanent Residence (Infotype 0006 Subtype 1)
    o Bank Details (Infotype 0009 Subtype 0 or 2)
    All other required data is taken from a reference vendor that you can
    specify as a parameter when you start the program. Note that for the
    reference vendor, reference data must exist for all company codes that
    are applicable according to HR master data. Since program RPRAPA00 cannot
    assign vendor master record numbers externally when creating
    vendor master records, you must be sure that the reference vendor is
    assigned to an account group that requires internal number assignment.
    If no house bank is specified in the reference vendor, this is
    determined via feature TRVHB (Implementation guide for 'Travel Expenses'
    -> Transfer to Data Medium Exchange -> Set up Feature for Determining
    House Bank according to the employee's organizational situation.
    The link between the HR employee's master record and the corresponding
    vendor master record is set up by entering the personnel number in the
    company code segment of the vendor master record.
    General program flow
    Program RPRAPA00 creates a sequential work file in the specified
    directory. Ensure that you use a global directory that can be accessed
    by all application servers; a directory is automatically proposed. The
    work file is later transformed into a batch input session by the
    subsequent program RFBIKR00, which is started automatically.
    In test run mode this program delivers information messages which
    document the creation of a batch input session. Since each information
    message must be confirmed manually, the test run should only be
    performed for a small number of personnel numbers.
    In productive run mode, however, the program RFBIKR00 is automatically
    started as a job; the information mentioned above is stored in the job
    log in this case.
    Initial setup of vendor master records
    Corresponding vendor master records are created from the infotypes
    listed above and the non-HR-specific information from the reference
    vendor. During the process, the personnel number is stored in the
    company code segment of the vendor master record. Persons who already
    have a vendor master record with corresponding personnel number are
    rejected in this run.
    If a vendor master record already exists for a personnel number, but
    without a company code segment for the company code in which the
    employee exists at the key date entered, the program adds the required
    company code segment to the vendor master record. You must however
    activate the checkbox "Create new company code segment for existing
    vendor master records".
    The HR master data used is the info type record valid on the key date
    entered.
    Update of vendor master records
    The corresponding vendor master records are updated from the infotypes
    listed above and the non-HR-specific information from the reference
    vendor. Persons who already have a vendor master record with
    corresponding personnel number are rejected in this run. The system uses
    HR master data from the infotype records valid for the key date.
    Change vendor master records according to HR master data
    All HR-specific data is changed in the vendor master records for
    personnel numbers that have changes since the date recorded under '...
    with last change since'. The system uses HR master data again from the
    infotype records valid for the key date specified.
    Block vendor master records
    All vendor master records which correspond with the selected personnel
    numbers are blocked for posting.
    User exits
    For the following situations, two empty routines are supplied in the
    includes RPRAPAEX and RPRAPAEX&H5F001 which you can adapt to your
    requirements.
    o The employee's last name is entered in the sort field in the vendor
    master record. If you do not want this to happen, you can program
    the situation you want in the user exit routine
    'set&H5Fmc&H5Ffield&H5Fby&H5Fuser'.
    o If the address editing in the vendor master record does not suit
    your requirements, it can also be changed. For this purpose you have
    the user exit routine 'set&H5Faddress&H5Fby&H5Fuser'.
    o If you want to assign numbers to the vendor master records to be
    created via external number assignment (for example, vendor master
    record number &H3D personnel number), you can adjust the user exit
    routing 'SET&H5FVENDOR&H5FNO&H5FBY&H5FUSER' (in include RPRAPAEX&H5F00). Note
    that
    the account group of the reference vendor must also have external
    number assignment.
    Note that in each case a thorough knowledge of the programming
    language
    ABAP/4 is necessary.
    Set up vendor master records in a separate system
    The distribution of personnel master data from a HR system to an FI
    system is a prerequisite for creating, changing, and blocking vendor
    master records.
    In the section Master Data Distribution (link to separate HR unit) of
    the ALE IMG, an explanation is given regarding the way in which the
    FI
    System is supplied with the relevant employee data from the HR System
    In the FI System, report RPRAPA00 described here can be used to
    create,
    change, and block vendor master records.
    Other wise try with VPE1 t.code.

    Hi,
    The time recording ID is the link between your personnel number in SAP and the time data captured by a swipe card.
    When card is swiped on the terminal..the machine notes the timings, clock types, door ID, Card ID, etc.
    The system identifies the personnel in SAP on the basis of the ID number which will also be there on the swipe card.
    There isn't any config to maintain the ID in IT0050. Just maintain this value in IT0050 as any number, personnel number say, and use the same value while configuring data transfer frm recording machine to SAP via RFC.

    For HR personnel no. you need to go PA40 tcode  here you can update all the fields.
    Then one personnel number will be generate.
    If you want to create for this perner to vendor account you need to FK01.

  • While creation of a equipment and assignment of personnel number

    I have activated partner function to the Equipment catagery.
    While creating equipment using T.code IE01,  I am assigning personnel number to the person responsible partnerfunction.
    After that personnel number getting defaulted to operator field as per config setting.
    I can create equipment and assign person responsible succussfully.
    But at the time of assignment of personnel number with partner function person responsible,  I am getting information messege always like
                     " No customer master record exists for customer 10003511"
    I would request you please suggest how  to "delink the above message" while creation of a new equipment and assigning the personnel number.

    Please check the personal Number is active or exists in HR Master with its validity.Use TC for checking PA20 for checking the same.

    I have a one  scenario say   Employee is separated from the company and rejoins after a year.+
    Clients wants :The same number for the old employee
    Is it possible to get the same number during the Rejoining or Rehiring Process. I dont want the Reference Personnel Number.

    yes you can do that,you will have to configure your Rehire action, and when you do that in Set up Personnel Actions (T529T), the 3 field which is called Function character for action you have several options such as below, for Rehire usually you give "0" Other actions
    Function character for action
        '1' First hiring
        '7' First hiring and transfer of data from Recruitment
        '8' Activation of personnel assignment in host country (for global
        employees)
        '9' Activation of personnel assignment in home country (for global
        employees)
        '0' Other actions
    also check the other fields such as STAT1,STAT2,STAT3 fileds, documentation is as below
    Definition
        Status indicators for personnel actions.
        Use
        The three status indicators have the following meanings:
        1.  Customer defined:   Not used in the standard system. You can use
                                this indicator according to your requirements.
        2.  Employment:             0: Employee not with company
                                1: Employee with company, but inactive
                                2: Employee with company, but as retiree
                                3: Employee active in company
        3.  Special payment:    0: Special payment: no entitlement
                                1: Special payment: standard wage type
                                2: Special payment: special wage type
            This special payment indicator is only relevant for the country
            versions of Austria and Spain.
    Procedure
        Each action is assigned the three status indicators STAT1 (customer
        defined), STAT2 (employment), STAT3 (special payment) in the customizing
        system.
        When a personnel action record is created, the system automatically
        fills the Customer defined, Employment and Special payment fields if the
        action affects the employee's status.
        The first record of the Actions infotype is assigned the status
        specified in the customizing system. All other records
            -   have the same status indicator as the new personnel action if
                this is not BLANK in the customizing system.
            -   have the same status indicator as the previous record if this is
                BLANK in the customizing system.
        This applies to all three indicators.
    Also check your Infogroup, instead of INS, you may want to use COP for several infotypes which were delimited when the Employee was terminated/separated during his earlier employement. Copying will help you save create data for few infotypes ex:it0002 etc.

            My Client need to get Different Personnel number for one employee,i.e for Trainee one Personnel number need to generate and same person when moving from Trainee to Probation another new personnel number should generate and again when same person move from Probation to Permanent another new personnel number should generate.

    2. How these 3 Personnel number should get linked, if want to get report for this one employee?

    Your requirement can be fulfilled but not recommended...
    As you want to generate different position number at different stage of employment....
    i.e Trainee to Probation to Permanent...
    First go for Trainee Position Hiring ....  and generate first Number Say 5000000
    Then suppose employee complete training after 1 Yrs.. then again go PA 40 enter date as 01.01.2015 say... & execute... & give Ref. Personnel Number (5000000) & different position number... this time...
    This will link up all the personnel date from previous hiring record... & as per your need you can modify it.... Finally one more number be generated....
    Similarly,, you can do for Permanent employee...
    Once training or Probation period gets completed you can lock/ separate that employee  number
    Report ...
    You can get necessary details in IT0031...& with different Position numbers which you will using at different stage of hiring...

    Currently Data Maintenance teams use standard SAP transaction XD07 to change Customer Account Groups. The standard transaction XD07 allows only one Customer Account Group to be changed at a time. The process is to be manually repeated for every customer. After the Account Group is changes in the request client (X07(10)), an RFC call is made to the BOR client (X07(20)) and then to the transaction client  (X08(10)) to change the Customer Account Group as the SAP ALE process does not support Account Group Changesu2026
    1.3     To-Be Business Process
    From time to time, bulk customer data updates will be needed. This can be the result of business situations that cause multiple updates to be performed for given customer fields such as Customer Account Group field. A new program must be developed to let the user mass update the Customer Account Group field (KNA1-KTOKD). The Program should be accessed on demand using a new T.Code (YMDM_ACCTGRP_CHG).
    Business users will submit a spreadsheet in the appropriate upload format to CDM along with written approval from the Food Service data owner to execute the upload in P07. CDM will execute the upload, record all documentation for the audit change log and notify the submitter when complete
    1.4     To-Be Business Process Flow Diagram
    1.5     Enhancement Functionality
    The following are the requirements:
    u2022     This tool will enable a user to perform bulk update to the customer account group field.
    u2022     The utility should let the user upload a u201CTab delimitedu201D file to mass update the Account Group field.
    u2022     The Load File will have 3 columns, Customer Number (KNA1-KUNNR), Current Account Group (KNA1-KTOKD) and New Account Group (KNA1-KTOKD).
    u2022     The Program must utilize the process behind the standard SAP transaction XD07 to change customer Account Groups in X07(10).
    u2022     The standard customer ALE (DEBMAS) process does not support Customer Account Group changes, so the mass change program must use the RFC functionality to change he Account Groups in the BOR (X07(20)) and Transaction system (X08(10)).
    u2022     Workflows for all updates performed using this T.Code are automatically approved.  No manual approval steps will be needed after data load.

    u2022     Provide the option to run the process in validation mode and update mode.
    u2022     Report all hard and soft legacy field errors on a validation report.  All u201Chardu201D legacy field validations should be passed before allowing update mode to run.
    u2022     The upload process will produce an error log for all records not loaded into the system.

  • Personnel number  invalid on posting date

    Hi All,
    While doing posting run system is giving an error "The personnel number 0013xxxx entered is not valid at posting date 25.10.2010.
    We have newly hired(On date 01.09.2010) this emp and first time we ran his payroll from Sept 2010 till Oct 2010  and doing payroll posting in month of Oct 2010. That means system has done retro from sept 2010.
    Can anybody put some light on this error ? as why this error is occuring...Do we need to check any config or table entries ?

    I am facing the same issue.... Any help would be appreciated. I have already check IT0001 and IT0027 and there is no vendor payments....
    IT0001 has an invalid cost center but that is true for an other guy as well but he is not showing this warning message. My issue details are
    I am getting a warning message that says Personeel Numner 10023XXXX invvalid when we do the payroll posting. Details of the error as per SAP message are personnel number 10023XXX is not valid at posting date 07/03/2011.
    When checking the personnel number the system found that employee 10023XXXX is not active on 07/03/2011. procedure is to wither enter a valid personnel number or if you do not want the system check the personnel number in CO then you can switch off this message in customizing under controlling section.
    When i go into controlling message # that is SAp gives is not there. This employee is recently been made inactive in the past and it had retroed back to last few periods.... All the other ianctive people are fine and there payroll as well as posting is fine. I dont understand why this warning message is coming. I have checked other employees with the same cost centre and company code and they are fine. Not sure why only this employee .....
    Any suggestions...

    I try to send PO from MM to SUS. But in the messages I get following
    error: "EDI: Sender partner number in control record is default"
    Message no. EA608
    SAP Note Number: 111342 doesn't help
    the logical systems are maintained!
    Any idea about this problem?

    If this is in regards to an ASN:  Check to see if this customer buys several divisions or is relevant for one division only.  In our instance of SAP, we found that it didn’t go to the Customer Master division setup relevant  to the division on the ASN to get the ACCT AT CUST field, it went to the first in the sequence of divisions and got that ACCT AT CUST field information.  That information was not filled out as it was a new division and that is what kept the output from happening.    For example:   we had divison 02, 04, 06 and 08.   We added division 03 and extended all customers to division 03.     Those customers that only bought division 04 just stopped sending ASNS.    The ASN was for division 04, but SAP logic was retrieving the ACCT AT CUST information (SALES tab, not CORRESPONDENCE tab) for divison 03, but we didn’t have that filled out.

         I would like to create a new custom responsibility, which the responsibility is having access to Standard Customer Form (ARXCUDCI.fmb) , but I would like to make a restriction in the customer search form is that, everytime the responsibility user search by customer number, customer name, party name or what ever search field, I would like to limit to restrict further of searching criteria where SALES_CHANNEL_TYPE = 'RTL' is allowed to populate the customer records, there rest of customer records are not allowed to search out.
        This SALES_CHANNEL_TYPE column is from HZ_CUST_ACCOUNTS table.
        I have tried the Form Personalization already, but the customer searching form has too many fields for user to search, therefore form personalization will be putting all over the places in the form. Therefore I saw others recommended of doing "Custom DLL"...may I know for my scenario, how to I go about Customer DLL? or any other more effective solution?
       Appreciate if anyone can share your experience related to matter above.

    The personalization i sent you works in this way:
    -It does not matter which field you choose to enter the query.
    -If a record is found, when the form opens and the cursor hits the Customer Name field, the personalization looks for the content of the Sales Channel field.
    -If the content of this field is different from the 'RTL' string, the form Customers form (ARXCUDCI) is cleared.
    Independently from the field you fill to perform the query, is a record is found, the Customer Name field is the first the cursor hits when the form is opened.

  • How to delete and re-set sales personnel number

    Hi gurus,
    I have some problems on sales personnel
    1. I created a new record using T-code VPE1 and it asked for a TR (transport request).  I cancel so the TR is not generated.  I will delete the record. Is creating sales personnel a master data or config?  
    I found although I cancelled, the sales personnel number has increased e.g. from 4 to 5.   So how or where to reset the number back to 4?   I can't find the config or function to reset.  Any idea??
    2. Can the record 5 be deleted? And if able to reset the number, can 5 be still re-use?

    Thanks for your valuable info.
    Yes, I totally agreed with you on the unique id.  However, as I mentioned earlier in my scenario I have created the record but cancel the transport request (TR) in development environment.  Hence, this record will not be transported to QA n production eventually.
    Therefore, I need to delete the record.  Then reset the number back to 4.   After that, create the record again and henceforth the rest of the sales personnel.
    I wonder if it is correct that it will generate the TR i.e. if it's a master data in VPE1 after saving that's it.  If it does generate the TR then it is a config.   I am still puzzle if it is a config or something wrong with my development server.  
    Need your expertise advise.

  • Partner Function as Personnel Number

    Hi All,
    I need to use the same functionality as of Business Partners tab of VA03 in my custom transaction.
    When the Partner function is customer , then using the partner number we can navigate to KNA1 and can fetch customer name, address number.
    in the same way, if partner function is vendor , we can use LFA1 to find out name and addr number.
    If the partner function is Personnel number , which table can be used to find out the detials like name of the personnel number and address number.
    Is there any table for this or any procedure? Please let me know.
