ATP quantity = 9.999.999.999,999

Hello Experts,
When I create sales order for material HAWA which is on stock location, system takes route schedule and in some cases create second schedule line u2013 in case the planned route schedule is for next day or later. Is such case Cumulative ATP quantity = 9.999.999.999,999. This happen only when Planned delivery. time (MPRII - MARC-PLIFZ) = 1, (it looks like Planned delivery time can not be bigger than confirmed delivery date from schedule line).
In SAP we use material type HAWA, Procurement type u201CFu201D - External procurement (MRPII), customers are assigned to u201Croute schedulesu201D u2013 (transaction VL53), and we are using RLT.
Do you know why system gives us ATP quantity = 9.999.999.999,999.?
Best regards,
Maciej

Dear Maciej,
Chk your material master MRP II tab page where check "IN house production" field  if you mention zero days in this field , the system will propose you 9.99999999999 but if u mentioned 1 day i think this problem get sloved.plz chk

  • ATP Quantity - not to be reduced by an outbound delivery

    Hi,
    We have the following scenario:
An STO, for a storage to storage location.  An outbound delivery is created for GI, then Goods receipt.
When creating the outbound delivery, it reduces the ATP quantity in CO09, and only adds it back upon GR.
But, We don't want the specific outbound delivery (separate delivery type) to affect the ATP quantity.
How can we do this in the configuration of availability check and transfer of requirements?
    Help!

via requirement type of the item category..

  • ATP quantity is less than the available stock.

    Hello,
A material is managed in batch.
When I create a delivery for a sales order the ATP quantity is showing less than available quantity.
    MMBE:
    Material: AAAA
    Storage Location: XX
Batch: 11001                      Unrestricted stock: 742750 KG                        Blocked Stock: 718000 KG
ATP quantity should be: 24,750 KG
Where as in VL01 while creating delivery it only suggests 24,500 Kg.
    What could be the reason.
Sensing deficit of stock, I am creating a planned order through MF50 for another 750 KG.
    Then in VL01 I get a proposal for 24750.
    Why is it so?

    Hi S P,
Did you check the all the points from OSS knowledge base article 1837190 - Non-confirmation in sales documents or deliveries because of inconsistency ?

  • CO09- structure to get the cumulative ATP quantity

    Hello,
Maybe someone knows the structure in which I can find the quantity which is displayed in the column of "***.ATP qty". I tried to find it in structure: ATPDSX
    Thanks a lot,
    Yael.

Here is the documentation associated with the BAPI. It does explain what you have to do in order to see the requirements from a certain date.
<i>Using this function module, you can determine the receipt quantity still available for a particular material in a certain plant according to ATP logic (MRPII).
The availability check is carried out on transferring the material number, the plant and the input table (WMDVSX). The scope of the check, that is, which stocks, receipts and issues are to be included in the check is defined by the combination of checking group (material master) and cheking rule. In the function module, the system uses the checking rule defined in Sales & Distribution (A). You can overrule this checking rule by using an interface or a user-exit (exit_saplw61v_001). A similar procedure is also valid for the plant parameters. The customer number in the user-exit means that the plant selection can be controlled via the customer. If no plant parameters are given via the interface, the system uses the parameter 'WRK' saved in the user's fixed values.
The results of the availability check are recorded in the output table (WMDVEX). This table contains dates and available receipt quantities (ATP quantities). The results of the check depends on the following entries:
<b>If no date and no quantity is transferred, the system displays the ATP situation from today's date into the future as the result.
If only a date and no quantity is transferred, the system displays the ATP situation from the corresponding date as the result.
If both a date and a quantity are transferred, the system calculates the availability situation for the quantity specified.</b>
In the last two cases, the parameter 'DIALOGFLAG' is supplied. This can result in the following:
    ' ' (blank) <=> quantity completely available
'X' <=> only partial quantity available or not available at
    all
'N' <=> Material not included in the availability check
(Material not relevant to the availability check)
The system also displays the end of the replenishment lead time (ENDLEADTME).
    </i>
    Check the bold text.

  • MB1A Problem - Available Quantity show 9,999,999,999

    Hello, Guru

I have already config batch detemination. This material don't have MRP View 1-4 but I choose availibility check 01 in sales/plant view.
I check config at t-code OMCP and click transaction button to view good withdrawal (MB1A). The checking rules is 03 and  I click define checking rule button to view availibility check control overview, double click availibility 01 and checking rule 03.
    It sets as follows;
    Incl Purchase Order
    Include Reservation
    Include Sales Requirement
    Include Delivery

  • Order going to free flow

    Hello Experts,
I have an issue wherein an order is getting confirmed from a plant where there is less stock. The order is going through the rule based atp in apo.
    Order qty-100
    Stock in Plant 1-80
    Stock in Plant 2-80
    Rule set up in apo-
    Fan based structure:
    Plant1--Plant2
                Plant3
Expectation is that the first 80 should be fulfilled by plant 1 and rest 20 should be given by plant 2.
On investigation I found that in the line item in the order, one of the field :ATP Quantity is 999.999.999.999.999
I believe that the system is ignoring the actual stock and going to a free flow.
So my question is where does this qty comes from. What influences this and how can I correct it.
    Thanks in advance
    Karan

    Hey All,
Just wondering if anybody has any ideas..

  • Purchase Requistion and ATP / commited quantity

    Hi SAP Business Process Experts,
    Business Process
we use STO's/STR's (purchase orders/purchase requisitions) to supply other plants.
The STO/Purchase order between plants is created for the 'frozen' period, whilst STR's/Purcahse Requisitions are created for the period outside frozen zone (still variable).
Currently the STO's/Purchase Orders do get a committed date/qty, whilst the STR's/Req's do not...
Question : We'd like the STR's/Purchase Reqs. to be configured so that they would 'consume' ATP committed quantity in the supplying plant ..?  (we used CO09 to see whether the STR/Req. consumes ATP quantity - currently it does not)
So, is there a setting which controls the cnosumption of ATP quantity for STR's/Requisitions in the suppyling plant ?
    Many thanks!
    Wim

    Wim,
Have you configured your ATP check such that STO PR requirements are considered?
In the ATP used in the supplying plant, OVZ9.  Ensure that under 'Incl.rel.order reqs' you have set "X".

Did you try the assignment (Enhancement) ATP00001?

  • Stock quantity for a Z report

    Hi Experts
I am looking for a report which should display the unrestricted stock of a material in a Particular Plant / storage location.
They have an existing Z report for the ATP Quantity for a material taking into consideration of all Open Sales Orders & Scheduled for Delivery.
But the business want the Unrestricted stock picked from the above z report.
My Question is: Is it possible to extract the data from a Z report  with specific conditions  to be populated in another Z report being developed.?
If so, how coul d be  achieved ?
    Thanks

    Geetha,
The answer to your question is yes.  Just spec it out and hand it to your developers.  They will find it easy to modify the existing report, and then create a new one which reads the newly available data.
Of course, one wonders, 'why don't you just use standard SAP reports'?
I assume when you say 'unrestricted', you are following the standard SAP definition.  If so, then Transaction MB52 is a standard list which includes a column for 'unrestricted'.
I suggest you review all SAP reports before commissioning a new one.  Try SAP1 at the command line (this is not really a transaction, so don't preface with /N).  Select Materials Management>Inventory management.  Lotsa stuff there.

  • MIRO with more than 999 goods receipts

    Hello,
I have the following flow for logistic costs:
    - I create a purchase order by month for my warehouse handler containing 1 line item with a quantity of 1600.
    - Everytime I ship goods in my sales flow I create a shipment cost document that generates a goods receipt in that purchase order
    - By the end of month I receive my invoice that is approximately for 1600 shipments, which means 1600 goods receipt.
When I post the invoice I have the issue of more than 999 lines for the accounting document. This is basically a problem with the GR/IR account.
The purchase account is activated in my company code, so everytime I make a goods receipt I debit my cost and credit this GR/IR account, this account is then cleared during the invoice process (debit GR/IR and credit supplier).
This account must be managed on line item basis and with open items management, this is why the invoice will try to create 1600 lines in the accounting document.
Is there a way to summarize booking on this account in the invoice that would also manage to clear all the goods receipts ?
    Regards,
    Benoit

    Hi,
I think that in your case SAP Note 77161 - Summarization of FI postings w.ref.to purchase orders is relevant, because as the note says:
"In the STANDARD, fields Order number (EBELN) and Purchase order item
(EBELP) CANNOT be used to summarize. In both the goods receipt with
reference to the purchase order (MB01) and the invoice verification, they
are assigned to an account in the FI document and thus PREVENT the
    summarization of the FI document."
The note suggests you how to avoid it and that kind of problems you will have.

  • Sales order create/change line item with reference to contract - Open quantity not getting deducted for copied line item from the contract

    Hi friends,
Please provide some valuable inputs for the following scenario:
When a sales order line item is created(VA01) or changed(VA02) with reference to a Contract the open quantity is deducted in the contract which is a standard functionality. If the referenced line item is copied (custom enhancement to copy line item), then for the copied line item the open quantity is not getting deducted instead ATP quantity i.e. Available-to-promise is deducted.
Any inputs on how we can fix this functionality i.e. deduct the open quantity from the contract for the copied line item?
P.S. : Custom enhancement to copy line item is working fine, but open quantity is not getting deducted if the copied line item was referenced to a contract.
    Thanks,
    Sandeep

    Sandeep,
Yes, that was my original interpretation.  I was having a hard time believing that someone would ask such a question.
I guess, then, that you already know that you will have to add this logic to your enhancement. You should create your specifications and hand them off to a developer; ideally the one who created this enhanced solution in the first place.
I do not provide advice in these forums about details of enhanced solutions.  Perhaps one of the other members will be more willing to do your work for you.

  • HU without inventory management and message L3778 in storage type 999

    Hi experts,
Need suggestion on the process to add inventory of an HU with status 'HU without inventory Management'. This issue has occurred out of the below scenario:
    1. our warehouse is HU & WM managed.
    2. We have a transfer order for a delivery document requesting to pick up 100 cases of MAT1 which is assigned to HU1.
    3. While confirming the transfer order user has confirmed difference for the full quantity of 100 because the SU/HU was not found in the bin.
    4. The system has set the status of HU as 'HU without inventory Management'. The HU is empty.
    5. system has moved the stock from the bin to difference storage type 999.
Now user has found the stock for this HU and he wants to post the stock back into the bin. system does not allow to move the stock back to bin using LT01 as we get error message 'L3 778'.
What will be the best practice to get the stock back into the bin and post the stock into the same old HU.
Is there a process wherein we can post this stock to another bin and repack into the old HU?
    Thanks,
    Harish

Thanks Manish on the hint. I was able to transfer stock to partner location and then bring back to original Storage type/Bin. Below steps was used to fixed the issue:
    1. Initiate a transfer of stock from WM/HU Sloc where the IM stock resides into Sloc 9099. An outbound delivery is created during this process.
    2. Create a transfer order with reference to delivery and pick the stock from 999 storage type.
    3. Create a Pick HU using LH01 and assign the HU on the pallet to the transfer order.
    4. Confirm the transfer order using LT12.
    5. Perform PGI for the delivery.
    6. Use HUMO to display the HU and then you can transfer the stock back to WM/HU location using the storage location transfer option available on the HUMO screen(EDIT à change HU posting à Storage location)
    7. Perform Bin to bin transfer to move the SU from 921 storage type to putaway the HU/SU back to the destined Storage type/Bin.
    Best Regards,
    Harish
