Audio unit render will be stop when keep zooming on view

Hi all, now i meet one issue, the case is: the upside is a scrollview show an image, and i use the audio unit to render some audio on background, when i hold zooming on the scrollview, the audio uint render will be blocked, for the render is called by system's callback, does it means the render callback and zooming both done in main thread? And anyone know how to fix this issue, thanks very much.

Caused by timer mode.

Animated gif will not stop when placed in director

I have an animated gif I am trying to place into a director
file.
When its placed and I press play it will play the animated
gif over
and over. I also took the gif and saved it as a swf file
placed it in
director it does the same thing. Please tell me what I am
missing.
Also I will show the dir file if you need to see it.

You don't have much control over Animated Gif members in
Director. You
can use
sprite(animGifSprite).pause()
to stop the animation and
sprite(animGifSprite).resume()
to restart it. The tricky bit is knowing when to do those
things.
There is no way I know of to find out if the sprite is at the
end of
it's image sequence.
Perhaps a better way of going about it would be to take the
animation
apart into individual frames and load them into a swf member
(in Flash)
or a Film Loop in Director. You may have more control over
the
animation that way.
The fact that it keeps repeating over and over again is sort
of the
point of an animated gif... though I believe that you can
make an
animated gif that specifically does not loop back to the
start using
ImageReady or the newer version of Photoshop. Though I have
not tried
this...

ITunes will not load when I click on 'View in iTunes' button

I get error message -
"The folder iTunes is on a locked disk or you do not have write permissions to this folder"
I have full administrator rights on this PC, so why will iTunes not load ?

are you sure your i-tunes is installed proper cause the icon is just a shortcut to the program.You might have some missing files. If so you may need to uninstall it and reinstall a new one.

Audio unit no render callback again

Hi all,
I write an app with voip background on iOS 4.2, now i meet an issue, when i push voip to background, then i open the ipod app to play the music, last i open my app again, i just found that my voip can't work again, i debug the code and find after play the music, the audio unit render callback in my code can't invoke again.
On this case i try to judge the function AUGraphIsRunning and it return YES, which means the audio graph is still running, also i add the property listener:
AudioUnitAddPropertyListener( m_RecordAudioUnit,
kAudioOutputUnitProperty_IsRunning,
CAudioUnitRecordChannel::StopCallback,
this );
to do such thing, and it also return my audio unit is running too.
Oop....i have no idea now, can somebody give me some help, what i want is to know whether the callback is work or not?

I have a bunch of Audio Units in my components folder, yet in both Logic and Garageband, none show up. I try to force them in the menu, and still, none of the ones in components folder show up.

Since when did you notice their disappearance? Or when you installed them they simply did not show up? How many are we talking about here?

You need to make sure that each and every one is Universal Binary, and approved for Intel macs.

I am facing this error message while printing crystal reports from my application. My system resources details are:
IIS 7.0
Crytsal reports 2008
Microsoft server 2008 R2
I have read all the possible solutions provided in this forum but unfortunately it did not resolve my problem. i have change IIS pool to classic from integrated. i have also disable some mimetypes in compression settings.
Please note that this problem ocurred when there are so many pages (for example 1000). As far as my findings are that for some how Request objects and session objects get vanish and we can not move to next page after this error. Report source also get vanished after this error.
Kindly help me on this.

I am already sending the print to windows XPS printer, and secondaly session timout is also definded to its maximum limit (i.e 20 mins).
Our application consist of classic ASP and ASP.net pages. we have written a utility to transfer session of classic ASP tp ASP.net.
One more thing which i experienced today is that when For testing purpose i put two different sessions in certain variables, one is classic ASP session (transferred to asp.net) and the second one is the session which was created in .net page. during printing error i saw windows event log and Error came at .net session. i moved those values to classic asp page. now error is not logging in event log and there is slight change in priting error. error message is now: "An Communication Error ocurred. printing will be stopped.do you want to view?" when i click yes it shows me empty page with no data.

Logic pro x, A whole bunch of my audio units failed but worked fine a minute ago

Audio units failed message as half my audio units now will not load.
I have 32 lives and rescanned everything. Did not work.
I own the software and it was all working just fine until I loaded up a different song. Logic glitched out.
The Audio units are still checked in prefs in logic like normal.
Audio units still show up in the project but will no open. They have a question mark. I've seen this before and was able to figure it out with one or two but not half my AU's. Something is different.
I have just loaded the update a week ago and logic was working fine.
I tried deleting my cache with anything Logic x, that did not work.
I restarted the computer several times, no luck.

If you mean all plugins have this issue then...
In Logic's Prefs Audio/Devices, make sure CoreAudio is checked...
Failing that, or if only some plugins have this issue...
Are the plugins that don't work, all ones wrapped in 32lives?
Do any of Logic's own plugins rather than 3rd party ones, have this problem?

I used to be when I zoomed the view using Ctrl and mouse wheel that the next page would be at the sam elevel of zoom. Now I have to re-zoom every time I open a page.

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

Listening to audio books - will stop when trying to read email or use web

I am having a problem...if you are listening to a audio book and then try to check email or web...the audio book will just stop and then you have to fast forward to find your place because its not saved.
Has anyone else seen this and any known work around?

I'm having the same exact same problem. I'm assuming it's a bug in the iPhone software and hoping it will be fixed in an update. I may formally report it to Apple and/or contact support about it.

I can understand the fear of messing up a computer when I first started seriously working on computers back in the early 90's I had to format and re-install my operating system twice a day for quite a while before I figured out a very important step (at least important for me), and that was after I made a change to my computer to restart it. This way if I messed something up I only had to undo one thing and not 50 because I went wild on it. lol
Anyways, do not be afraid of your computer all you need to do is learn that step, how to keep your personal items backed up and then of course how to re-install your computer back to factory and you can always start over with a fresh build.
On to your questions:

Menu background audio stops when entering transition

Is there anyway for the menu audio to overlap a transition towards the timeline ?
I have a menu setup with audio and a still frame from a small movie as background, when hitting play all the menu play's the movie clip/transition which fades out and then starts at chapter 1 of the timeline. Problem I'm facing now is that the audio which loops in the menu stops when entering the transition clip. While I would like the audio to overlap the transition clip. Can't find anything related to audio which could set the audio to keep playing while the transition clip does it's job.
If encore doesn't support this, then it should be included. In that case does anyone know how to workaround ?

This is simply not possible in DVD-Video.
The format is visually dominant - which means any time you switch menus, timelines - even with transitions - the audio must change too.
You can - if you must - use Aufdio in the transition as well, but please bear in mind that there

Try to download the application VLC.
It is a media player that should be able to play any audio or video file you may have. If your videos play flawlessly using that application, then the issue is with iTunes and Quicktime, as they are both essentially similar software types when it comes to playing media.
In that case you may need to install a plug-in file called Perian, in order for the videos to play correctly within iTunes or at least Quicktime...

HELP Audio Unit scanner crashes on logic pro X when trying to load mpc studio

Everything was running fine I could open my mpc studio up as an AU plugin and it would run smooth but as of recently I keep getting an error saying logic has to quit because it cant open my plugin .. this is the error message i receive when trying to validate my plugin

My wife has the same problem. I believe I found the solution. Activate "do not disturb" in settings - do not disturb - manual. Make sure to also go to allow calls from and set it to no one. A moon will appear in the status bar. You will see notifications of missed calls but it does not interrupt Pandora. Let me know if this works for you.
