Automatic and Immediate TO after delivery is created

Hi All,
Thanks in advance for help.
We have requirement for creation of Automatic TO after Delivery.
We have activated Warehouse Management and Handling Unit Management both at one storage location. Further now requirement is to create TO as soon as delivery is created : Automatically and Immediately.
Please let me know config steps for the same.
Best regards,
Ravi Davda

Hi,
Check on the following to configure automatic generation of TO wrt a outbound delivery.
To create transfer orders directly or automatically for outbound deliveries, you trigger the
message type WMTA using the SD message control. Only WM-relevant delivery items are processed. Different forms of processing result, depending on the processing time of the message type WMTA:
Processing time 1, 2 and 3 (processing later)
In this case, the message is processed either via a program in the background
(processing times 1 and 2) or manually via the transaction Messages for delivery
(processing time 3).
If the automatic TO creation indicator is set for the reference documents and a report is
carried out regularly, this is known as automatic transfer order creation.
_ Processing time 4 (processing immediately)
Here message processing is initiated immediately after the delivery has been created.
Therefore, we call this immediate transfer order creation.
If you want the system to generate transfer orders in the background without any additional
activity necessary by the user, we recommend that you use processing times 1 or 2. You can
then plan to periodically execute the report RSNAST00 (Selection Program for Issuing Output)
with a corresponding repetition time for the message type WMTA.
During creation of transfer orders we recommend that you process later, in order to
improve performance for processing time 4. If you choose an appropriately small
repetition time period when you set up the system to use report RSNAST00, the time
required to create transfer orders is nearly the same as when using time period "4"
for immediate transfer order generation.
For further information on how you set up message determination for deliveries see the
implementation guide (IMG) for Shipping under
Basics >Message Control> MessageDetermination>Maintaining Message Determination for Output Deliveries> Maintaining Condition Tables [Ext.].
For the creation of u201Cbatch-neutralu201D delivery items, via the WM transfer order, the
system searches for specific batches in WM and updates the delivery.
If you create transfer orders for u201Cbatch-neutralu201D deliveries in the background,
depending on the batch determination strategy, the system automatically selects the
oldest batches in the warehouse first. If you prefer to do so, it is still possible to
select specific batches in WM when you create transfer orders in the foreground.
If you create a transfer order for outbound deliveries for materials subject to valuation
and materials to be handled in batches, a valuation type that is predefined in the
outbound delivery can only be taken into consideration if you use General batch
determination.

    Hi Ayub,
Please go to the Return PO item details, and check the Delivery tab and make sure the delivery completed check box is selected. If not please select the check box and save the line items.
If there are multiple line items, then do the same for all the line items.
Then check in VL10B and confirm me.

    Hi guys,
Up to know, I succeed in creating TASK either manually in the TRM monitor or by running the report RLTRQSCHEDULER.
I'd like to know how to get the following behavior in SAP LE-TRM (Task and Resource Management) module : automatic and immediate task creation in TRM at TO (transfer order) creation in LE.
Does anyone know how to set this up?

  • How to change the pricing rate of Sales Order after delivery is created?

Is it possible to update(change) the pricing rate which belong to a specific condition type, of the "Sales Orders"  after corresponding delivery is created ?
number of the Sales Order to be changed is huge. How can I handle this situation ?
    immediate replies would be rewarded

Repricing is only possible if your pricing record has a valid from date that is equal to or before the pricing date on the order. Otherwise, your pricing rate change will be applicable only from the begin date of that record.
Assuming that it is allowed by config, you can go to VA02, go to conditions, and then there is small button at the bottom, that says 'Update'. By pressing that, your system will automatically reprice the sales order, provided, as I said, all pre-conditions are met. Once you know that you can do this, then you can adopt any of the technical solutions that Rich had suggested above to do the mass changes.

  • Assign LC to Sales order after delivery is created

    Dear All,
Business want to assign the LC to sales order even after creation of delivery document.
But once delivery is created Payment guaratee procedure and Financial doc no. fields in sales order are greyed out.
Is it possible to make this fields editable even after delivery.
We can assign LC to delivery document but there too many deliveries with reference to one order and user very often misses to assign LC to delivery.
    Please advice.
    Regards
    Mayank

    Hello,
Firstly for Sales Orders against which you have created Delivery, LC No. (Financial Document) feild in the Sales Order can not be made editable now. It is against the Business Principles as explained above.
Regarding your doubt on making the Feild mandatory in future, there will definitely be different Distribution Channel for Exports or some other thing that is common for all Export Orders where LC is required. Apply a User Exit in which you can write a code to check that Condition that is common for all Export Order & make the Financial Document No. Feild mandatory.
But for Sales Orders for which you have created Delivery, the feild cannot be entered now & you have following two options:
If you want to enter the LC no. just for information sake, Enter in it any Text Id available in Sales order or update the Table entry directly for VBKD - LCNUM feild, but this is not recomemded practice & check with your ABAPer whether it is possible or not.
    Hope this clarifies,

  • Configurable material sales order costing after delivery is created

    Hi,
Sales order was re-costed after delivery and goods issued.
The costing is VO - without errors.
The profitability analysis does not show cost for the sales order line and there is no offset g/l account .
    Please see attached.
    Appreciate it.

    Hi,
Check in KVBI if the costs have accumulated on the sales order.
If there is no credit line, it means GR for production was at zero value.
And AFAIK delivery will not be permitted unless costing is done for a configurable material's sales order. So I am surprised how you were able to execute delivery.
Also, at what point is your COPA document generated in the screenshot?

  • Delivery not created immediately after SO is saved

    Hi All,
I created a document type ZB01 by copying from document type CS (cash sales). I tried to set the shipping conditions to be "immediately" and "as soon as possible". But after the sales order is saved, no delivery is created. Only after I changed immediate delivery from "X" (create immediately, if quantity can be confirmed) to "A" (create immediately), the delivery is automatically generated. But the problem shouldn't be related to the amount of goods in stock. I checked the goods in the specific plant, it has more than enough to confirm. And in the sales order, the quantity of schedule line is also confirmed. Can anybody help to explain this issue?
    Thanks, Jerome

    Hi,
Irrespective of the shipping conditions, as long as the Immediate delivery (X or A) is set, the system should generate a delivery doc automatically. May be you can try this:
Set the Immediate dely indicator back to X and then create a SO. If it does not create a delivery, open the SO in the change mode and then save again. Check whether it creates a dely doc this time.
can you pls confirm whether this is working for you?
    Thanks,
    Siva

  • Difference between Automatic TO and Immediate TO

    Hi Gurus,
Can somebody give me the exact difference between Automatic TO and Immediate TO in WM.
    When we use Automatics TO?
    When we use Immediate TO?
    And difference between these two?

Automatic TO Creation for Transfer Requirements
You can set up the Warehouse Management system to create transfer orders automatically as a background process. You set up the system to carry out this process by setting an indicator in each movement type separately. When you create a transfer requirement, the system copies this indicator into the transfer requirement header.
To activate the automatic creation of transfer orders for these transfer requirements you must start the report RLAUTA10 as a batch job. For this process you define a variant for each different indicator. This makes it possible for you to define different starting times and time spans to repeat each task periodically.
To create transfer orders automatically, three processes are available:
The system creates a transfer order for each transfer requirement
The system creates transfer orders only for transfer requirements that meet certain criteria (for example, date or time). You enter these criteria individually into a user exit.
Using criteria as described in point 2, you can also set up the system to assign a reference number to combine the transfer requirements for multiple processing. The assignment of the reference number can take place separately in a user exit.
For the interface between SD shipping and WM, you can also set up immediate or automatic transfer order creation for deliveries.
This process is controlled by the message control function in the SD Shipping component. The condition technique can be used to initiate message type "WMTA" when the delivery is created. The prerequisite for this is that at least one item of the delivery is relevant to WM. The combination "Shipping point / Delivery type" is used to determine the message type.
I hope this is sufficient ..

  • After delivery what postings will be happen and PGI also?

    Hi All
after delivery what postings will be happen and PGI also?
    thanking you
    Sarvesh

    Hi,
When you create the delivery, the open order quantity is reduced and the status of line item gets updated as either partial, complete. The document flow is updated with corresponding delivery.
When you post goods issue for an outbound delivery, the following functions are carried out on the basis of the goods issue document:
Warehouse stock of the material is reduced by the delivery quantity
Value changes are posted to the balance sheet account in inventory accounting
Requirements are reduced by the delivery quantity
The serial number status is updated
Goods issue posting is automatically recorded in the document flow
Stock determination is executed for the vendor's consignment stock
A worklist for the proof of delivery is generated
After goods issue is posted for an outbound delivery, the scope for changing the delivery document becomes very limited. This prevents there being any discrepancies between the goods issue document and the outbound delivery.
Hope it helps. Please reward if useful.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Material Blocked for delivery after delivery is already created

Is it true that if a material is placed on block after the delivery has already been created but before the PGI is done, the delivery needs to be manually updated with a block status to prevent picking and PGI? I would expect SAP to determine if a material is blocked and read from txn OVSU and OVLS to determine whether picking and PGI are allowed.
I know it works fine before the delivery is created but if a material is blocked post delivery creation it seems SAP doesnt recognize the fact that the material is blocked and will still allow it to be delivered unless you manually change each delivery. Is this correct?

James..my friend...use simple business logic....when are you blocking the delivery...if in case customer credit is due, or that material sale is not allowed to the customer etc etc.....so ideally, that should happen before delivery...now you want the system to act like a human and determine if something goes wrong after delivery and do not allow PGI to happen...SAP standard program is like that my friend..you can not control that...if you want to check that again after delivery...take the help of you abaper for putting up the validation after delivery.
    Reward points if it helps

  • Outbound delivery gets created automatically not by vl10g

    Hi :
    Here is my scenario:
it is third party order, once sales order get create a pr is created automatically, and we created purchase order  and inbound delivery for it, an outbound dellivery gets created one we finished creating inbound delivery as i checked it is created by batch job not by vl10g, my question is that is there another way to have outbound delivery created automatically once we finished creating inbound dleivery for this scenario?

    See my reply in blue
As per my experience for third party sales scenario, it don't involve GR at all.
It does invlolve GR and GR is done for its PO.
If its there then it would be statistical.
What did you mean for statistical?
That's why, if you can tell us, what movement type you use for GR, it will assist us assist you further.
    The  movement type is 101.
B'coz, I get a feeling that you don't have GI for the process and therefore you don't background job for the same SM37.
And if GI is present, then its not third party sales.
What did you mean for "GI is present"?  As we finally need to post goods issue for the outbound delivery

  • Outbound delivery not created automatically

    Good Day,
A STO posted from a supplying plant to a plant creates an automatic outbound delivery.
When creating the STO with the same supplying plant and plant but a different material the automatic outbound delivery is not created.
What settings should apply to the material as this seems to be the only different input between the two STO.
The config settings seem correct as the automatic outbound delivery does happen when a different material is used.
    Thanks

  • Inspection lot not getting cancelled after the inbound delivery is created

    Hello,
    The scenraio is like this.
    1. Material was procured in plant A.
    2. Using the stock transfer purchase order, transferred the material from Plant A to Plant B.
    3. Outbound delivery was created, Handling units were assigned and Post Goods issue was done.
    4. As soon as this was done, inbound delivery got created automatically in plant B and Handling units were assigned.
    5. Inspection lot was created with origin "08".
    6. Now I want to reverse all the transactions, so I did as mentioned below.
    7. Handling units were deassigned from the inbound delivery and inbound delivery was successfully deleted.
    8. Now tried to do the reverse post goods issue and got the error "Handling unit XXXXXX cannot be reversed"..Goods movement cannot be reversed for handling unit XXXXX because it has been changed or assigned to object since the last goods movement posting".
The issue is that as soon as the inbound delivery is deleted, the inspection lot status should change, which has not changed. So kindly let me know how to make the system cancel the inspection lot as soon as the deassignment of handling units is done in inbound delivery or the inbound delievry is deleted.

I've created a customized menu and at the instance of me selecting a menu, a VI should load itself dynamically. I am using call by reference. Sometimes it works and sometimes it won't. In short, what I want to achieve is load VIs dynamically and close them dynamically once they finish executing. Thanks !
