Automatic clearing of SD billing document

Hi there,
When SD cancels its billing document, the integrated posting of the invoice cancellation will be captured in FI.
Any idea if the cancellation of invoice can be claered automatically against its original invoice in FI customer open items.
Please advise.

Actually, what I'm expecting here is the system will trigger the automatic clearing of the invoice being cancelled in SD vs the original invoice; without having to perform the clearing via F-32 or F.13.

    Hi,
    I have no payment received against the billing created earlier. I get the below error when i create a cancel document (vf11) -
    " The system cannot clear billing documents and cancellation documents because, for example individual item updating is deactivated."
    The two documents (billing and cancelling documents) appear without clearing themselves in AR. How could i make it clear automatically from AR (ie) it should knockoff eachother from AR when i create this cancellation document.

    We have a requirement to automate the intercompany billing document to be created whenever F2 billing document is created ( without using VF04).

    After goods issue has taken place, you can process the delivery for billing. You can create the billing documents just like any other billing document on the Billing screen:
    for a single billing document with the menu path Billing document ---Create.
    for several billing documents with the menu path Billing document -
    Billing due list.
    The delivery may have to be processed for billing twice.
    The delivering plant processes the delivery to create an intercompany billing document (billing document type IV) for the selling company. This company code posts invoice entry for this billing document.
    The billing document is automatically billed to the internal payer that is assigned to the sales organization. The intercompany charges that appear in the intercompany billing
    document represent the actual amount that the delivering plant is charging the sales organization.
    If the selling company is selling the goods to a customer, it processes the delivery to create an invoice for this customer. The system can take the prices from the order or determine new prices. It takes the quantity to be invoiced from the delivery.
    The billing due list for the intercompany invoice is generated after the customer invoice has been created.

    We have one busiess requirement where we need to automate the billing chain process and the flow is as follows -
    STO -> Delivery -> Billing -> Debit Request -> Debit Memo
    Here we need to automate the debit request creation after saving the billing document, for that i need exit or BADI which suites the above requirement. 
    The exit/badi i am searching should supports the data for VBRK, VBRP and VBPA table, after searching several places i found the below BADI whch suits my requirement.  However this BADI not at all triggering during billing save -
    BADI_SD_BILLING
    Please help me how to overthis issue, please advice

    For calling a BAPI, i need a userexit which provides the Billing document number and also line items.  I tried with the following includes however these are not solving my purpose -
    RV60AFZZ
    RV61AFZA, ZB
    Hence guide me the correct exit which give the information of billing document number and the data related to line items.

  • Automatically Clearing a Form When Document Closes

    I'm trying to find a way to automatically clear the information in a form without using a reset button. Our forms are used by many individuals, and this way the form will be cleared of data when the next person goes to use it. These forms will be uploaded to the internet on our website. I am sure there is a way to script it, but since I am a new designer user, I haven't been able to figure it out. Thank you!

    When we upload the form to our website, it is a static or dynamic pdf. When you click on the form, it will open in reader, or the full version of acrobat (whatever the user is using). Unless you remember to click on the reset button to clear the form, the form retains the data you have entered when you close the file. Next time you go the website, and again click to open the form, the data will still be there. There is no back end to this form - we do not want the data to be saved, just printed or submitted by email. I have tried this from workstations with just reader, and I still get the same results. Thanks for your input.

    When I cancel a billing document,  the corresponding accounting document in AR should be cleared automatically.
    I have some cases that when I cancel the billing document,  the system responds with msg. " Automatic clearing of the billing document and cancellation is not possible because line item updating has been deactivated, for example"
    Where do I find this setting to activate??

    I've just send a message to SAP on issue related with yours.
    And now I've received SAP's answer as following:
    As of Release 4.6, there is a new cancellation function in R/3, by meansof which the system automatically clears (among other things) the     
    accounting documents for the original document and the cancellation     
    document in FI. If the new procedure does not work, the system uses the     
    old cancellation as a default, automatic clearing is not carried out.     
    In such cases, please clear the accounting document manually.     
    In your cases, I think the new cancellation procedure sometimes cannot     
    be performed somehow.     
    Here are some known reasons from SD side:     
    1. the cancellation is an item cancellation (see note 400000).     
    2. the billing document has one or more items relevant for revenue     
    recognition (field VBRP-RRREL not blank)     
    3. the billing document is a down payment request     
    4. the field RULE_NEW_CANCEL is set to 'A' (see note 339928).     
    If at least one these conditions occurs, the system performs the old     
    cancellation procedure (in this case it does not give message VF208 as     
    the new cancellation procedure will not be tried at all).     
    Besides, the note 309208 contains a list of other possible causes from     
    FI/CO side.     
    Please check the notes for detailed information, I hope they     
    may help you.

    Please check the original document that needs to be cleared has already some clearing lines., i.e might have cleared partially.

    In case of billing document cancellation (VF11) the cancelled doc. is not getting automatically cleared against the actual billing doc. no. Each time user has to clear the doc. manually. We have observed this issue after recent patch updation dated 22nd Feb’2014. Till 21st Feb’2014 the cancelled doc. has been cleared automatically against their respective billing documents.

    Please chheck SAP Note No. 1259505. It explains two ways in which SAP releases cancellation documents to FI.
    OSS NOte 1259505 lists the possible causes from SD side &
    OSS Note 309208 lists the possible causes from FI side.

  • Don't want cancellation of billing document to be cleared automaticly

    When I cancel an RV Billing document, and this document isn't cleared yet (in FI), the cancelationdocument is automatically booked in FI and cleared with the RV Billing document.
    I don't want this to happen because I have to send an overview of new not cleared billing documents  to a thrid partie.
    Is the a possibillity to step over the automaticcaly clearing functionality ?

  • Automatic clearing of accounting documents

    We are having an issue with accounting documents for our credit card orders getting cleared automatically as the billing documents are created.  This looks
    like a standard SAP functionality.  The orders are created with credit card number and it gets authorized.  When the billing document is created, it posts the  document to accounting and it clears automatically.   Is there any user exit that I can use to not make the document clear automatically?  Which function module does this use to do the automatic clearing of the accounting document?  We also create Repair orders with credit card number in it, but not authorizing the credit card while order creation.  Because it does not authorize the credit card, the accounting document for Repair order does not get cleared automatically which is what we are trying to accomplish for our regular authorized credit card orders also.

    Yes sure, as u have mentioned the process of lifting a billing block is a standard SAP process and I do generally follow this method here in our project but actually the process of automatic generation of a billing document can be scheduled in VF04 as mentioned in the earlier post.
    But I tried to convince the client for not to go for such billing process, as the billing document could be generate and changed as per our need during manual process.

  • Automatic Clearing with Payment Advice via EDI

    I am trying to automate the cash application process via the receipt of the customer inbound 820 (using message type REMADV, type PEXR2002).  I can successfully post payment, clear open items, and set up deductions relating to a specific invoice, but I haven't been able to post deductions unrelated to an invoice.  Our customers often take deductions not related to a specific invoice at the same time as remitting payment for invoices.  Has anyone managed to post 'independent' deductions when posting a payment advice via EDI?
    I also have one small problem selecting the customer open item for clearing.  Our billing document number does not equal the financial accounting document number.  We store our billing document number in the Assignment field, and this is the number the customer will reference when remitting payment.  I have not been able to find a way to use the customer's reference number (e.g. Assignment field) to select the open item.  Has anyone had any success using the Selection Rule assigned to the payer to select open items by something other than the accounting document number?  Or is this functionality only available for manual processing of payment advices.
    Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    We are in the process of implementing incoming payments through EDI 820. However we are getting the below error when we generate the IDOC.
    Formatting error in the field BKPF-WAERS ; see next message
        Message no. 00298
    Diagnosis
        During batch input or when executing CALL TRANSACTION... USING a screen
        field was filled with an invalid input format.
    System Response
        Processing was terminated.
    Procedure
        The screen field has the technical name BKPF-WAERS . The cause of the
        error is described in the following message.
        Correct  the appropriate BDC data."
    We tried to debug and but we got below
    In the 1st screen, the currency/ rate field comes up as blank. The value u2018USDu2019 was entered manually by me.
    The Amount comes as blank as well u2013 hence the transaction shows an warning message that the line will be ignored because of the 0 amount
    Lastly the following screen shows up and stops with the error message.
    "Different Currencies in payment advice and document header /USD.
    Any help is highly appreciated.

    cancelled invoice document is 1000000014
    when i try to release the cancelled invoice document 1000000014 in VF02,it is giving error like "automatic clearing off billing document 900000008 and can.doc. 1000000014 no poss".how to release  the cancelled invoice.

    Goto T.Code : VOFA
    Choose Billing type : F2
    Check the following entries in Billing type.
    Posting Block :  If you select,system blocks automatic transfer of the billing document to accounting
    Cancellation billing type - S1
    Acc Determination Procedure : KOFI00 (Standard)
    Choose Billing Type : S1
    Acc Determination Procedure : KOFI00 (Standard)
    Procedure:
    Cancellation : Go to T.code VF11
    Enter the Billing document : eg. 90000102 and press F8
    system will cancel the billing document and generates the cancellation billing document, save the transaction.
    We can release the blocked billing documents in VFX3 or goto VF02 enter billing document and choose green flag.
    Goto VF02 or VF03  enter the original billing document number and press document flow button.
    As per my knowledge we can't maintain external number ranges for billing documents.

    I need a lot of help with t-code F.13.
    I need clearing a lot of line items in one GL Account. every one has the same Assignment Number and has in local currency (CLP), but one of them is in USD.
    When i call the transaction, I fill the follow fields, but the system doesn't clear the items and shows follow message "B  No clearing (difference too large)" .

    Thanks for your reply. Look, the difference that I found between both t-codes is the field: Clearing Currency.
    I've executed many times with that field empty and CLP. But the result is the same "No clearing procedures were carried out".
    Also I've tried with different combinations of this checks:
    F124BVK - Special Processing (Clearing Currency from Assignment Field) (I dont know how to configure this)
    F124ALW - Expiring Currencies
    F124TOLEB - Consider a Single Line Item for Tolerances
    F124NKON - Include Supplementary Account Assignment
    What can I do now?

    During creating of billing documents in VF01 for STO invoice, the excise invoice is also created simultaneously without manual creation.  Normally excise invoice are created seperately  by
    giving the billing document reference no.through J1IIN.  Suddenly, the excise invoice has also

    Check the Excise Group settings which you are using for your STO transaction .
    SPRO -- Log gen--Tax on goods movement - India Basic settings --Maintain Excise Groups
    Here for your Excise group check whether You have selected Excise inv during billing for Outgoing excise invoice.
    If there then system will create automatically Excise invoice during Billing document creation,
