Backorder report and order types

Experts,
We have a standard backorder report in ECC called as t-code v.15
I want to know, if this is only for standard order types or it is for every sales order created in ECC.
Thanks
Shankar.

Hi,
Backorder processing is only available for materials with individual requirements. If any of the orders mentioned by you carry material number (with individual requirement), then it applies to those orders also.

  • Report by Internal Order that includes cost element and order type

    Good Morning Gurus'
Is there an SAP Standard Report that shows Internal order, cost element and order type?  I find many with order, but not order type.
    Thanks a million!!

    Hi,
No, I don't think so. You can create a workaround by defining order group based on order type by intervals. Or, of course, develop your own report.

  • Free goods and order types

    Hello,
    1) If company is providing free goods, then will it be associated for order type or with pricing condition.
for e.g. On purchase of 100 qty. if 10% foods are free, then how is this associated.
    2) Also if i want to provide free goods only for a particular customer group, lets say wholesale, then how will it be associated
with pricing conditions and order type.
    Regards

    Hi,
    There are two cases:-
1.Ur company is providing free goods as a sample.
2.If some customer buys some quantity of product u provide some free goods with it.
    1st Case:-
if u want goods to b send as a free sample then u can directly use TANN item category with doc type or .
    2nd Case :
Free goods is something that the customer is given after he buys certain quantity of the product/material.
Free goods is a strategy to increase sales volume by luring the customer that if he buys 10 products one will be absolutely free.
Free Goods:Goods that are given as additional goods as part of the ordered goods are called as free goods. Here the unit of measure of free goods should be the same as standard goods.
Example:If you are are ordering 10 maggi sauce bottle you will be paying for only 8 bottles 2 is given as freegoods.
price will not be reflected in pricing or billing.this is inclusive freegoods
    Exclusive freegoods.
wherein the freegoods are given as additional good to that of the ordered goods
Example:For 4 coffee vending machine 1 kg coffee powder isgive as free goods
Sample goods:these are the goods which are given as pert of the promotional activity to increase the sales.
here the customer is not paying money.
Free goods - In SAP there are two types Exclusive and Inclusive.
Exclusive - Buy 2 and get 1 free. This means you have to buy minimum 2 pieces then on that you will get 1 piece absolutely free.
Inclusive - Buy 2 get 1 free. In this case it means you are paying for only 1 item and the other item is absolutely free.
    Configuration:
IMG - Sales & Distribution - Basic Functions - Free Goods - condition technique for free goods -
    1. create the condition table(Take one field as customer group also if u want to provide free goods only for a particular customer group).
    2. maintain access sequence and assign the condition table to the access sequence.
    3. maintain condition type and assign the access sequence to the condition type.
    4. maintain the procedure for free goods and assign the condition type to the free goods procedure.
    5. Activate free goods determination. In this enter sales org., dis channel, division , docu pri pro, cust pri pro and the free goods procedure.
    6. now go to VBN1 - create free goods determination. Select your condition type, key combination and enter. Here you enter sales org, dis channel, customer no., Valid from and Valid to dates. Then you first select whether it is exclusive or inclusive free goods determination. By default it will be inclusive if you click on exclusive it will become exclusive and on top it will display inclusive. Here you enter minimum quantity for free goods and from what order quantity the number of free goods. You can control the delivery also in the second last column(free goods delivery control).
Save the record. Go to VA01 create the sales order , enter the item and the minimum quantity for free goods .
    Thanks & Regards,

    waiting for quick response.
    Regard's,
    Uday.

    Hi ozgen,
    Thanx for your reply.
Error here is that I got planned order generated of order type LA and not VP... I know that for Strategy 50 orders of order type VP should be generated. But I got order type of LA. So where would I might have given wrong settings..??

  • Prompt Order when opening Report - And order in List Of Values

I guess this is a fearly easy question... But I thought easier to ask you guys than struggling all night.
1 -  I have a report with some prompts.  How do I change the order they appear in ?
2 - For some List Of Values I have really a strange order. How come ? And What should I do to fix it ?
Hoping on some good answers in the weekend
    Best Regards
    Ingrid

    Hi Ingrid,
You can set the "Prompt Order" in "Properties" tab in the Query Panel.
1.Make sure that you are in the Query Panel.  Make sure that "Edit Query" button is pressed.
2.Click on the "Properties" tab, just beside "Data" Tab
3.Scroll down to see the "Prompt Order" option. Select the prompt and use " UP or DOWN" arrows (not the keyboard arrows. Expand the "properties" tab window, if you don't see the arrows) to change the prompt order.
    Thanks,

  • Balance report and document types

    Hi:
Just one simple question. I am not a FI, but I need to get Balance report, but I need to select only several Document Types. Is this possible?
Do you know this kind of report?
    Thanks very much in advanced.
    Regards

    Hi,
Balance reports are based on totals, while document type is an attribute of a single document. You can produce such a report only based on the documents' tables, e.g. FBL3N report, but not on totals where the balance is calculated.

  • VL10C _ order types and incoterms to create delivery _ but there is no selc

    Hi Friends
Currently we are using VL10C  to create delivery through batch job , please refer our job job  u201Cdddu201D in SM37 .We will use variant u201C WWWu201D , which can be seen in the below screen attachments . Main selection criteria is  u201Cshipping point u201C500u201D and u201Cdelivery creation dateu201D . This job runs at 10 AM  regularly
Now current requirement is we have to add shipping points 600 and 800 for same batch job, for new shipping points (600 and 800)  , we have to add only selective  order types ( ZRRR and ZAAA)  and only below  selective incoterms
VI.     BL - UPS 2 Day
VII.     UD - UPS 3 Day
VIII.     UO - UPS Next Day AM
IX.     UA - UPS Next Day PM
    X.     US - UPS Next Day Sat
I am checking VL10C screen , there is no option to mention u201Cincotermsu201D in selection criteria . I donu2019t know whether itu2019s defect in standard SAP system .But system is not capable of meeting client business requirement .
I am researching but I could not come to conclusion on how to go about this requirement. I appreciate your ideas if you share with me on this .
    Thanks in advance

First you must create separate batch job for the new shipping points unless you want to limit the selections for the first shipping point. Meaning if you filter on ZRRR and ZAAA order types only there is no option to limit that selection to the new shipping points (the filter will work for all shipping points entered). Each u201Cincotermsu201D should have it's own route so filtering on route would be best but also no option to use one batch job for three shipping points and use deferent selections for route and order type from one job.
Unless of course you create new variant and add to the job so the same job triggers VL10C two times, one with first variant and one w/new variant

  • Restriction of user to isuue material (mb1a - 261) based on order type and

    Dear friends
My client wants to restrict the users for issuig of materials against order ( mb1a - 261 mvt) Based on user id, plant and Order type.
I know it can be done with user id and Plant. But he is insisting on Order type.
    Please suggest.

    Dear R S Dhar,
It's not possible to control for this authoriozation for order type for performing 261 movement in MB1A.
You can control for movement type or based on storage location.
    Check and revert back.

  • Authorization for order type and activity

    Dear all,
is it possible to set the authorization in PS, that allow changes only for specific order types?
    Scenario:
A user is allowed to display order type PS01.
But he is also allowed to create/change/display the order type PS02.
In transaction CN22 there is only the authorization object C_AFKO_AWK, which has the values for plant and order type, but the activity is missing. So if the user gets both order types and also transactions CN22 and CN23, he can change both order types.
Is there a solution for this problem?
    Thank you!
    Regards,
    Stefan

    I tried to create 2 roles in PFCG with the following authorization objects: 1) M_MATE_MAR (Material Master: Material Types) ACTVT = *, BEGRU = ZFER and M_MATE_STA (Maintenance Statuses) ACTVT = *, STATM = A,C, D, E, F, G,K, L, P, Q, S, V, X, Z (excluding B) 2) ) M_MATE_MAR ACTVT = *, BEGRU = ZFER and M_MATE_STA ACTVT = *, STATM = B
    - Are both these roles assigned to the same user? then your purpose is not solved, It is more or less like giving full authorization.
    - One role should be
M_MATE_MAR (Material Master: Material Types) ACTVT = *, BEGRU = ZFER and M_MATE_STA (Maintenance Statuses) ACTVT = *, STATM = A,C, D, E, F, G,K, L, P, Q, S, V, X, Z (excluding B) for view, modify and create of all views, except accounting (B) for type material ZFER. This should be assigned to one user
    - Second role should be
M_MATE_MAR ACTVT = *, BEGRU = ZOFF and M_MATE_STA ACTVT = *, STATM = * for view, modify and create of all views for type material ZOFF. This role should be assigned to the second user.

  • Best Practice - Order Types for Consumers

I was curious what the best practice is for entering orders within the CRM Interaction Center.   Do you have a separate order type within the CRM system and pass it to the SAP system for "Consumer" orders and then have a different order type that is defined in the ECC system for distributor/wholesale orders?
We are trying to determine if it is best practice to have a separate order type for consumer orders or not.
Any help on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Darcie

    Hello Darcie,
I received the following guidance from one of our CRM consulting practice managers at SAP:
"My recommendation to customers is that they separate out the number ranges and order types.  Especially if they are being created via different sales channels.  The reason is two-fold:
    1. Gives greater visibility to what is created in one channel vs another channel (easy to report by order/document type and visually, someone would see an order that starts with 7 and know that itu2019s for consumers whereas one that starts with a 4 would be for wholesale accounts).
    2. Even if the order/document types behave the exact same way today, they may want the flexibility to be able to change how a consumer order behaves without affecting the wholesale orders.  They could always add the new order type later, of course, but itu2019s easier to set that structure in place now."
    Regards,
    John
