Bad Quality of Service for a new customer

I am very disappointed in my experience today.

Many thanks guys for professional Input!
My question based on following problem:
At SXMB_MONI all PO messages succssfully processed but no messages deliverd to the Vendor.
After deeper checks i detected following:
At Component Monitoring I see the respective Communication Channel in yellow with description "Channel started but inactive". So far as i know ... that means ... no messages was processed up to now!
At Message Monitoring i found a lot of PO Messages in Status "To Be Deliverd".
The last entry at Audit Log sounds "The message was successfully retrieved form the queue".
Message restart doesn't work! So i thought on message blocks the whole Adapter queue.
Do you have any solution for me?

  • Error while entering transaction for a new customer in release 12.1.1

    Hi,
    I created a new customer in receivables (am using the version 12.1.1)
    First i got an error while creating the customer saying, "Provide a positive integer for minimum customer balance amount or percent when balance amount overdue type is amount or percent respectively"
    I corrected the profile class amounts and now am allowed to create the customer but now the error comes while entering a transaction for this new customer:
    "The system cannot determine geographical information for this location and cannot derive a tax jurisdiction. Please contact your system administrator"

  • Wrong default layout for a new customer

    Hi all,
    I hope somebody can share inputs with regards to this issue.
    I'm assigning a default layout to one customer group (layout1 for all Group1).  When this was done, a list of customer codes were included in the list and each were ticked from that list.
    Second layout called layout2 for the setting 'Set &as Default for all BPs (for Whom a Default Layout Has Not Been Assigned).
    Scenario:  A new customer code is created belonging to Group1.
    Issues: 
                a.  This new customer code does not automatically follow the setting on default layout which is layout1.  When the layout1 default setting was double  
                     checked, the new customer code was part of the list, but it was not ticked. 
                b.  When document was previewed, it uses the wrong layout2.
                c.   The user still has to update the layout1 default setting, ticking the tick box from the list for the new customer code, then clicking update in then
                      layout designer window.
    Question:  Is this a normal behaviour of the system?  I thought that setting it as default for certain customer group will be applicable even to newly created ones under that group.

    I am afraid that it is your SAP B1 version current behavior but you may check using demo database. What is your SAP B1 version anyway ? what is your database localization ?

    A template has been defined as default for all users, when previewing this it is not the template which has been set as default for document.

  • Opinion: new Package for every new custom Component?

    Hi there,
    I am just thinking of some possibilities to structurize my Components I made.
    I wonder if it is useful/good programming to define a new package for each new custom Component?
    So if I define a new MyComponent class extending JFrame should I make a new package:
    "mycomponent"
    containing these subfolders:
    "view"
    "model"
    "controler"
    subfolging "controler" in:
    "listeners"
    "adapters"
    "events"
    Is there any sense to do so? I think this would be the best way to structurize one's components.
    But if you do, you have to include millions of packages if you want to use one of these components :(.
    Please post, what you think.

    nope ;). I would most certainly not want to put every file in a single directory.
    But I like sturctured things. If things belong to each other, it should be visible at once, that they have something to to with each other. And the best method I can figure you is putting them in one package.
    The subpackages should be created, because of the model, that is used for all swing componentd (UI-delegete, MVC...) so that each structural component is where it belongs to.
    I don't like it if tere are 100 events one object could possibly create and you don't know the events from the component (of course you can guess by the name Event :)), but if they are in the same package, you would have to scroll a long way to get the thing you want (either m, v or c).
    So this is why I would do it ;).
    Anyway: do includes make the program run slower (I have read many threads about it, but there are way to many opinions, so I would be grateful if you post your opinions here, thx ;).

    p.s.: why wouldn't you put them in a seperate directory (just overkill?), would you use classes that are structured like this if you are looking for a implementation of something and find it in this structure?

    I have read about the new announcement regarding Creative Cloud for Photographers subsciption charges for existing photoshop users. I have never used Photoshop due to cost; I do not work as a creative professional and I think there would be a limited set of functions in Photoshop for me so £600 quid for something that gets upgraded every 12 months seemed excessive.
    My question is, what is the cost for a new customer for CC for Photographers - is there a new offer similar to that for previous customers?

    I was very tempted to sign up for this, as an amateur photographer I have never been able to afford Photoshop, and the current offer price is right for me. However, reading the TOS and conditions I have reluctantly had to shelve my plans:

    After the first 12 months, we will automatically renew your contract based on the current price of the offering.
    Cancellation
    We'd hate to see you go, but if you cancel within the first 30 days starting from your contract date, we'll give you a full refund. Otherwise, you'll be billed 50% of your remaining contract obligation for the cancellation or removal of seats. If you ever need to cancel, just call Customer Support
    I cannot sign up to such vague and open ended conditions. What happens next year when the price is doubled? If Adobe could offer retiree amatuers like myself a long term commitment to even a cut down Photoshop that is just for photographers I would sign up like a shot. But as things are I can only got back to grumbling about how Photoshop remains beyond my reach.

  • PHONE SERVICE FOR SPECIAL NEED CUSTOMER - YOU NEVER SHOWED????

    We have been able to maintain my brother-in-law in an independent setting for most of his 59 years of life. Beyond his diabetes, cognitive delays and heart disease, he also struggles with the residual effects of schizophrenia and an awareness that he his different from other people. Recently, we had to move him into a new apartment and he needed land line phone service. We were not thrilled that we would have to wait more than 3-weeks to get an appointment - even after we explained he has medical needs - but we put as many supports as we could around him (needless to say, he forgets to charge his cell  phone, but the walkie-talkies worked ok). 
    THEN the day of our appointment arrives - AND NO VERIZON??? We waited from1-5pm, taking time off work... and no technician showed. When we called to ask the status of our appointment, we were told that the appointment was on the computer but no notes as to why  no one came. We were told we could Verizon could come the net day (which would be today , as I write) but it would be any time between 8am-5pm.
    Why is this ok? Where is the customer service, the care? Why do I now have to wait from 8-5 for another technician - when we should ahve been put first on someone's list? I know we are not getting FIOS but...
    I am venting here because there seems to be no customer concern hotline or email and I do not think this should get lost in the shuffle. Phone service for my brother-in-law is essential and vital to his wellbeing and abilitty to continue to function safely within the community. How can I recommend and respect your commitment to servicing persons with disabilities and special needs if this is my experiences with Verizon?

    I'm sorry you are having difficulty. An agent with access to your account will reach out to you directly by email, private message in the Forums and/or the billing telephone number on your Verizon account for more information or to help you resolve your issue.

    Hi Sunny,
    you're case is quite common, because SAP displays the customer data in a standard layout, putting a page break after every customer and company code.
    In order to avoid this, you may change the grouping criteria. For that,
    1. be sure that you have not clicked on the header of any column in the list
    2. click on button "sort ascending"
    3. here you'll see that fields "company code" and "account" have an asterisk on column NG (new group). This means that, for every change in these fields, SAP will insert a page break
    4. remove these asterisks
    5. (optional) save this layout for further launchings of the report

    Helo community:
    We have created a new object ("8C - job family") , this object is a copy of object "C" job,  we have done the customizing, for example in table: T778O and we have filled it with:
    8C     Familia de Funciones     PDOTYPE_C     ICON_ISO_CODE
    So, the question is when we create a new object in PP01, we want to create an attachment, but the options are disabled. Somebody knows how we should enabled these options?.

    Microsoft confirmed I have figured out the answer if you are having
    an issue when your nested cluster breaks when you move your VM guest to the other host...(Below) 
    A nested cluster heartbeat network has to be setup...
    Meaning not only does the nested HB have to communicate between its nodes (classic HB situation), but the HB also has to communicate to each host or communication is lost.
    how to:
    Present a physical nic to both hosts
    Create a new virtual switch for both hosts pointing to the new nics (this will create virtual nics to add to your vm guests)
    This also creates a virtual nic on both hosts (because the physical nic is being presented to hyperv)
    Add nics to both guests in the nested cluster
    Set IP's on all four nics (hosts and guests)
    Creating a subnetted network between all 4 nics (Ping making sure you can communicate all around)
    Now you will be able to fail one member of your nested cluster to the other host without breaking the nested cluster.
    Communication between the host which does not own the guest is the key.

  • Bad quality in Ext Monitor in new MacBookPro

    I have been using a Dell U2410 with an old MacBook (2008) with very good quality.
    I have just upgraded to a MacBookPro i7 2,9GHz, but the image quality in the external Monitor is ver bad.
    The main problem seems to be lack of contrast (but I'm not an expert). There is a lack of definition in lines and fonts, they even seems to be ligthly 'erased'. Gray color of the windows is very pale when the window has not the focus. In the Safari Window I have opened (when not in focus) the back and forward buttons are nearly mised with the background. I have at the same time the old MacBook open and they are clearly defined. On the other hand the icons in the dock (blues, yellow, grenn) have a deep  color and the white letters in the desktop are very well defined.
    I have tryed to calibrate but there is no way to make it better.When doing the calibration, in the first step I cannot get the center oval to disspear. The right side never gets different from the left.
    Sorry for the vague descriptions. Is there anything I can do to get a better quality from my good monitor?

    If you are displaying the whole screen it will look bad and there is no way of avoiding it.
    It is caused because your screen is probably 1200 pixels (or more) wide but a DV image is only around 700 pixels wide so you are losing a tremendous amount of detail.
    To make matters worse, much of the fine detail on the screen will probably shimmer or flicker because the video is interlaced.
    You can reduce this by using the De-interlace Filter but the overall quality of the image will still be poor.
    The only way I ever achieved reasonably sharp results was to show no more than half the screen at any one time. If you do that your results will be OK.

  • Bad quality + poor service=Bad business

    I've just had a very poor tech support experience tonight on my HP desktop computer. After an HP tech told me a couple of days ago that I had to do a complete system recovery because my USB ports weren't working, and he guided me through the process, I've found a new problem. My aero peek taskbar preview wasn't working correctly.
    Tonight (approximately 11pm PST) I called and spoke with 2 support techs for this issue. The first tech (I didn't get her name) had no knowledge of what I was trying to explain, and after telling her the problem 3 different ways, she was unable to recap what I was saying. She said she would have to take remote control of my PC, then she hung up. No knowledge, no professionalism.
    The 2nd tech, Jo-Anne, didn't understand my problem at first, so I had her point to taskbar icons of open programs on her PC, where she saw window previews, then told her my PC didn't do that. She took remote control of my PC, then went thru a few troubleshooting steps and resolved the issue. She was professional but lacked some knowledge.
    I wanted to speak to her supervisor, Joseph, about the problem with the 1st tech. She tried to reach him twice but said he was unavailable. I asked her to have him call me back. She said that may not be possible. I told her I would like a call from him within 24 hours. She said again, he may not be able to call me back. Then she asked me if I would like to purchase another year of warranty, even though I have almost a year of warranty coverage left. I am NOT going to purchase any more coverage, as there is no way to connect with a supervisor or guarantee a call back from them if there is a problem. Also, I have had several problems in the past with unknowledgeable and unprofessional technicians.
    I like someone else's suggestion on this forum--if I can't get a response from a supervisor in Tech Support, I will call the corporate office and complain.
