BAPI not returning dataset thru iviews to EP from ECC

Hi All,
We have ERP 6.0 and we are trying to use BAPI to pull data from ECC to EP using SAP RFC-iviews.
We have configured the system object , we are getting the all the BAPI FM info from ECC during creating of new rfc-iview, but when we try to preview the iview by giving the input to the FM is not returning any data.
We have tested the same FM from SE37 and able to get the dataset.
Please suggest me if any configuration to be done.

Problem is solved, while giving input in iview we have to give exact details like for customer number it stores like 0000000001, if we give only 1 it's won't interpet as it was in Data dictionary... but while testing in sm37 you can give as 1 for customer number.

I have developed the BAPI which gets the data from few tables and puts them in one structure. But when I am running I am not getting the output. When I am debugging the same the structure is getting populated but it is not getting returned. Please let me know what could be the issue.

                          Please check whether You have created structure of table in which you are taking values
    Do as Such
Create Structure
through se11
Data Type : zname .
having field which you required
such as
name1
waers
klimk
skfor
cskfor
Then assign this Structure to your RFC i.e BAPi
in TAbles Tab
such as
Result   like zname .
and then you use your code
to append data in result table
whit proper import parameter and Export parameter if any .

My PC does not return to the source document I print from

I had a setting control for
this in XP but can't find the page I got it from.<o:p></o:p>

In ANY application or browser
this happens. I print from a specific Excel workbook, by example, when I
have a number of them open. The system does not return to the workbook I
printed from. This is maddening and causes all kinds of issues.
Searching the web for this now produces nothing and I know I can't be the
only person who experiences this.<o:p></o:p>

This is a Windows 7 platform
in a networked business environment. I'm running the Classic Menu add-in
from Addintools because I can't stand the ribbon and have never liked it.
In Windows 7, I'm running a couple of other add-ins that restore the XP
use of the task bar properly so one can work efficiently.<o:p></o:p>

None of the add-ins are what
is causing this issue because I'd run the same Classic Menu add-in on the XP
box and it had the same issue until I found the work-around that I can't
remember now.<o:p></o:p>

If I'm not misunderstanding, do you mean that the workbook is automatically closed after you print from that workbook, right?
As I know, if we use the default ribbon in Excel, no matter in Windows XP or Windows 7, the opened workbook should be stay opened after you print from that Excel workbook.
So the question is that: what is the version of office? What is the Classic Menu add-in you're running now? Did you manually download and install it to your system? Could you please share a picture with us about the add-ins you're using?

BAPI PO GETDETAIL NOT RETURNING PREQ_NO IN PO_ITEMS

When calling BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL with ITEMS checked "X", the table PO_ITEMS does not return the value of PREQ_NO (Purchase Requisition Number) for the corresponding PO. When viewing the PO through ME23n the Purchase requisition Number is visable on the screen for each line item.
This is not happening on all PO only certain PO documents, is their a condition that this depends on?

Can you place a break-point at line439 of include: LMEWPF04 and check.
As itz a normal transfer of EKPO entry to the output table. It shouldnt be a problem.
Do re-check if you are using the right PO when displaying in ME23(N) and when using the BAPI: BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL.

Not able to get the Qualification data from BAPI

Hi all,
I am using a BAPI (BAPI_JOBREQUIRE_GETLIST) to get the qualifiaction data for requirement profile. It's working fine earlier but I did not get the qualification data from this BAPI, although the data is there in DB against this requirement profile.
Can someone suggest me why I am getting this issue. I have looked into SDN and in BAPI documentation and found as below:
"You require authorization (structural authorization) to read the Requirements subprofile."
I am having the same User ID as I had before (when I getting back the correct data), so I don't think it should be authorization issue.
Can someone help me out in this issue please.

Hi Shiva,
It does not going to these includes at all. Message comes out with successfully done. The BApi is calling RHPP_COMMON_QUALI_READ inside, but this will not return any data. But if will call any qualification object ID, this BAPI will come up with data.
So the QP type LO profile will not come up with any kind of data, but if we pass the OTYPE as Q and pass any Qualification object ID then the data will be returned.
Is there any relationship or some other thing is missing? Any idea.

The new transaction will use the upload data to create returns and/or supplements to Marketing budgets. The following is what the transaction will do per request:
     Verify funds are available to shift. The program will do this by creating an error log for items that do not meet this criteria. The program will process all line items that have available funds (IM52).
Q pls let me know what BAPi/FM to use to verify whether funds are vailable or not
     Return the funds for both overall and fiscal year (IM52).
Q Pls tell me BAPI for same
     Supplement the funds for bother overall and fiscal year (IM52).
Q BAPI for same
     Deactivate the availability control for the WBSEs affected (CJBW).
Q How to do that and BAPI/FM for same
     Activate the availability control for the WBSEs affected (CJBV).
Q How to do that and BAPI/FM for same
     Add appropriate text from the data in the upload spreadsheet (this may be a concatenation of data from the columns in the upload) (IM52).
       Not clear what user is trying to say
     The transaction needs to be able to handle whole dollars as well as numbers that might include up to two decimals: e.g. .01 (IM52).

I am answering my own question since i completed the above development by using the FM KBPV_POST_DATA .
It will post to all the BP tables and is tested successfully.

Simultaniously Test Configuration was executed successfully. And mapping is good.
But I don't any message in target system in sxmb_moni (formed by BAPI).

As I understand these settings are the settings of RFC-destination for target system DE2 13 (200) from XI (DX7 01 001).

BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULATE does not return multiple errors

Hi,
We are using BAPI_SALESORDER_SIMULTE, but it does not return multiple errors in the MESSAGETABLE even if all the materials entered in the ITEMS_IN table are wrong or have some ATP issues. It returns the first material that has problem and doesnot find errors with the remaining.
Can anyone tell why this is happeining. Is there a setting in customizing to get the BAPI to return all possible errors.

Hello Pulin
This is a typical behaviour of BAPI. Due to the fact that they validate all incoming data very scrupulous they stop processing at the very first error.
I would assume that a "SIMULATE" BAPI should show all errors (because that's why we simulate, isn't it?) but apparently this is not the case.

BAPI for returns Sales Order

Hi,
I have a BAPI for sales order creation.
Can I use the same BAPI for returns process of sales order and how because it asks for some business object(BUS2032 or something like that) when the file we are using having document type as RE(Returns)
If the business object is required then how can we find that or get it ?

We can find the business objects in the transaction sw01.
Path : - sw01 -> Business object repository -> all object types.
Then you need to select the object that you need to create.
For example if you need to create a debit memo request.
path : - Sales and Distribution -> Sales -> Debit memo request . Here you can find that ur business object is BUS2096.
You can double click on it and you can check if there are any methods avaiable.
As per the conversation above the ur object is BUS2102.
Please note that BAPI_CUSTOMERRETURN_CREATE is not released by sap as of 4.7.
So, we actually need to use BAPI_SALESDOCU_CREATEFROMDATA which is also not released but supported by SAP.
Please refer to the OSS note 93091.

Custom BAPI not accepting Request Parameters.

Hello all
I i'm using a JCO connector to call a custom ZBAPI to do a material move update. the BAPI has 3 required and 1 optional parameters.. all type string. The response is either an error message or confirm.
I have several BAPI's that I call in my application both standard and custom, all of them work except this one. For some reason it is not accepting the parameters we send it. I had the SAP integrator alter the BAPI to return the values I send it and its getting none of them.
I have Auto Commit Turned on as well.
Any thoughts? I have the source code for the BAPI if that would help

Unfortunatly I cannot answer that question because the Group/Role/User configuration for the ERP system is custom. Sometimes in the BAPI you will attempt to call a func. that requires additional permissions than the standard BAPIs; such as Cost Assignment when releasing a work order. If this is the case the user will have to have access/permissions to the FI/CO module. In order to check and eliminate the permissions issue as a possibility, request SAP_ALL permissions in the dev system and try it again.

You probably cannot get a refund, since the terms of sale for the iTunes Store state that all sales are final. You can contact the iTunes Store, explain the reason for your request, and ask, though:

It's possible they'll make an exception for you, particularly if the app is defective in some way. If you just don't like or no longer need the app, a refund is unlikely.

Hi,
This might be due to the JRE version of the browser. We faced such issue and the update of JRE version in the browser helps to get the pop-up of F4 help. Check in the internet broswser Tools -> Internet Option -> Advanced. Check whether the JRE applet is checked or not. it has to be checked. if it is checked and even if you dont get the F4 help, upgrade the JRE version.

I'm having all sorts of connection issues on a iPhone i brought in the uk 6 months ago. am i able to use a genius bar abroad as I'm not returning to the uk?

i brought a iphone 5 back in feb/march and since then its slowley getting worse and worse, my wifi hardly pickes up any signals and when it does they drop out all the time. my girlfriends iphone4 picks up and has no trouble holding onto the wifi, whilst sitting at the same table mine shows no signals. Im not returning to the uk any time soon so i want to know if its possible to visit an apple store for replacement abroad? im only 6 months into my apple care so i wouldnt think this should pose an issue. any help would be fantastic

T-SQL: SET Statement Using a Case Statement is not returning a value

SQL VER: 2008
Please see the attached screenshot from SSMS. The Set statement below is not returned a value or may be returning a zero value. The AllocPercent field is set to zero in code preceeding this Update Statement:

As you can see by the screen shot from the Select Statement that is displaying the results after the Update Statement is completed, the value of AllocPercent is = 0 even though all the values necessary for it to compute a value > 0 are present in the
table. Incidentally, the values in both the AllocBase and PM_Input fields are the same before the Update Statement is ran, as shown in the Select ran after the Update Statement.
I have ran this type of code several times with never a problem. This seems really simple, but I just can't seem to get it to compute.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yep--This statement is running in a Stored Procedure and inside its own block statement.
I did get a response that suggested I change the SET statement as follows, that worked:
AllocPercent
= CASE WHEN AllocBase IS NULL OR AllocBase = 0 THEN 0.00 ELSE cast(PM_Input*1.0/AllocBase*1.0
as decimal(6,2)) END

ExecuteWithParams is not returning the rows from cache

Hi,
We have two VO's based on same entity ,whenever new row is inserted in one VO and we do executeWithParams on another VO ,It is not returning the rows which are uncommitted.
I replaced the executeWithParams with a custom method in AM in which I am executing the query after applying the view criteria and setting query mode.Its returning rows which are uncommitted.
Jdev Version which I am using is 11.1.1.7.0
ExecuteWithParams used to work with uncommitted data in 11.1.1.6.0 .
Do we need to raise a bug on framework or Am I missing something?

Still the same answer, even after you updated the question. We (the public) don't have 11.1.1.7, know nothing about 11.1.1.7, and cannot help you with 11.1.1.7. Questions about internal builds belong on internal forums.
