Bcd sur 12bits

bonjour je voudrais transmettre un nombre decimal sur le reseau. Pour cela je dois d'abord le convertir en BCD et ensuite l'envoyer sur 12 bits.
La conversion en BCD est bonne, ex 365=0011 0110 0011 mais qd je la transforme en string elle prend la veleur 03 06 05 alors que je voudrais qu'elle est la valeur suivante:365 sans les 0. Quelqu'un peut il m'explique mon erreur?

Hi chris,
you should put 4 bits together instead of U8 values as you did before:
Note: you still will have a leading zero as 2 bytes will always have 16 bits and your 3-digit BCD only uses 12 of them...

Boot\BCD error - SCCM 2012 R2

Hi,
This is a last ditch attempt before I throw in the towel and rebuild the server.
I am running an SCCM 2012 R2 Hierarchy with two primaries and multiple distribution points.
One of our main DPs has started coming up with an error when pxe booting a windows 7 machine. This happened after a corrupt driver was added to the boot image. The driver was removed and all the DP's rolled back but the issue still remains on this server
alone. We use an IPhelper to point the pxe requests at this server.
The error message is:

Status: 0xc0000098
Info: The Windows Boot Configuration Data file does not contain a valid OS entry.
I have tried the following:
1. Removing the PXE role and reapplying it.
2. Removing the Boot images and reapplying them.
3. Removing the DP altogether from the console and reapplying.
4. Removing all data from the DP and starting again.
5. Redistributing the boot images. both x86 and x64
6. creating a new boot image for both x86 and x64 and applying those.

Hello,
Is your WDS running properly? If WDS is stopped, can you start it manually?
Or you get an error like 'The service did not respond in a timely fashion'?
The symptom is so similar to that I have encountered. You referred that you have tried to remove WDS, DP, but I wonder how. Before removing WDS and DP role, try to delete corrupt package in SCCMContentLib folder.
I just recreated SCCMContentLib, and WDS did start working. I guess there are corrupt packages in the my folder as well. But another problem occur, I installed all the roles on the same server in my lab, so it is a primary site server as well. As a result,
it seems that I have to re-deploy all the packages. Not sure if there is any further problem yet. Since it is just a lab environment, it doesn't matter for me.
I hope what I have done will give you some clue.

When I attempt to PXE boot any machine, physical or virtual, I get an error message, the pertinent details are:
"Recovery - Your PC needs to be repaired
File: \Tmp\x86x64{GUID}.bcd
Error code: 0xc0000098"
DHCP Options were set as follows:
066: CMDP (the name of the stand-alone DP)
067: SMSboot\x64\wdsnbp.com
One of the most bizarre facts is that I was able to run a PXE install one time and then the next day, the system displayed this error.
Here are some steps I have tried to resolve the issue:
Removed and Rebuilt the DP on the Primary Site (now removed completely).
Built a stand-alone DP on Server 2012 R2 in vmware vcenter 5 and configured it for PXE boot.
Restarted the server after confirming WDS was installed and it appears to be running correctly.
Verified all content was being distributed correctly and ensured boot images were set for PXE deploy.
Installed ADK 8.1 Update, built new Boot Images and distributed them to the DP.
Rebuilt the PXE Task Sequence using both x86 and x64 Boot Images.
Changed DHCP option from x86 to x64 and back and forth.
Ensured the SCCM Admin was explicitly added to the DP as a local admin.
Made sure all SMS folders on the DP are shared to everyone with read priv's and the SMSBoot folder location was shared to allow the DHCP options to connect to the correct network path.
Resintalled the ConfigMgr Console on the site server and my tech machine.
Updated SCCM to R2 CU3.
Read dozens of similar forum posts.
Cried a little.
The SMSPXE log on the Primary Site is no longer being updated since building the new DP. Don't know which logs to check or where they would be!
I am getting close to full reinstall of SCCM -- which I really don't want to do -- but I'm running out of forum posts to follow!! Can you help me stop bashing my head against a wall - it's starting to hurt.

I am getting a dump while executing one statement in a FM
The statement is:
INSERT MARA
        FROM TABLE ITIO_R_MARA
        ACCEPTING DUPLICATE KEYS.
The dump in ST22 says:

Since the caller of the procedure could not have expected this exception

It seems there is some BCD value that is to be inserted in the field /VSO/R_PAL_OVR_D of the table MARA. This is some invalid

Combinational logic for BCD seven segment

HI all,
I have to design the combinational logic for BCD to seven segment display using only And, Or and Not gates and simulate it using the multisim software. I had come out with the truth tables, kmaps and finally i got all the SOP for each of the segments (a - g).
Now i have a problem, using multisim i do not know how to simulate the output. Am i going to draw all the logic diagram for a to g, and how am i going to combine them together?
What other components do i need to proceed with the simulation? Please advice, thanks in advance!

I'm not sure what SOP means, but I am very, very familiar with this project.
Here is a file that sets up a basic structure for you so you can see how it works. I used a Common-anode 7-segment display since those seem to be more common in school kits, which makes the final gate outputs active low. I've only done the "A" segment for an example. You may notice that the gates I have are different than what you get with Karnaugh mapping, because I used the Quine-McCluskey method that Multisim's Logic Converter can produce. It makes for less gates, but is not a method you really want to do manually. If you are doing a school assignment, I would advise against using the Quine-McCluskey result, because an instructor will tear you apart if it doesn't work and you can't show your proofs, so don't forget to remove my gates!

How to capture DV-NTSC material with 12bit audio ?

Does anybody have the solution ?

In the Final Cut Pro Menu select Audio/Video Settings
select the capture preset tab
DV NTSC is probably selected.
click on the edit button
click OK to make a copy
in the QT Audio settings select capture first two channels, second two channels or mix channels.
This is the first time I looked at it in FCP 5, in 4.5 there was an advanced button there that allowed you to select channels and also preview the sound.
When it captures, it's going to convert to 16bit. You may have to experiment a bit to get what you want. Capture 15 seconds and see if you are getting what you want.
I'm assuming you are capturing from 12bit because you recorded onto all 4-channels of the DV tape. In the past, I've had to make sure all my audio for the first 2-channels captured to the left side, and second two channels to the right side, then when I mixed two channels in capture, i would have seperate audio. But mixing the two channels may mix audio from the Left on channel one with audio on the left from channel 2, instead of mixing L & R from channel one to the left of the captured channel. Sheesh...
Anyway, it may take some experimenting...

Here's the full story. A friend of mine gave me their laptop because they weren't able to get it to boot. It was having the "BOOTMGR is compressed" error, so I booted up my MiniPE and uncompressed the drive. After uncompressing, I restarted the computer and it booted up just fine. Once inside Windows, I went to Shut Down...Restart the computer. Once it rebooted, instead of going to Windows I get the error as follows:
Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:

Alright, so I've seen this error a bunch of times before. Until now, I had only ever seen this error on Vista machines and I've read that it can happen to Win 7 users, too. The problem is, this computer is running Windows XP SP3.
When my buddy bought this laptop (HP Mini 1000... the really tiny one with no built-in DVD/CD and only has a 16GB SanDisk pSSD drive), he opted to buy the Windows XP Downgrade directly from HP. This computer normally runs Vista (I don't know how with its specs) but this one was imaged by HP for Windows XP.
Is there a solution for this for XP users? I've already run CHKDSK which corrected a lot of errors, and I've already run an MBRFIX which didn't do squat. I wouldn't normally hesitate to run a Repair on the OS, but HP didn't send him any operating system discs. If I use a TechNet XP Home SP3 cd, I don't think it will accept his product key (damn HP OEM).
Any suggestions?
P.S. This isn't related, but what's with all the healthpills posts advertising online pharmaceuticals? Do they really think anyone who frequents tech support forums are gonna follow that link? :o

How to create 12bit Prores4444 from an image sequence

Hi,
there seems to be a lot of confusion on the web regarding the bit depth of Prores4444. The white paper states that is supports "up to" 12bit for color components (YCrCb or RGB) and "up to" 16 bit for alpha and people seem to disagree whether it always uses 12bit or whether it uses 10bit when no more is needed.
Having said that, I would like to create a Prores4444 file from a sequence of 16bit (per component) images (I could produce png or tiff or dpx) and for obvious reasons ensure I get the full 12bit of colour and the full 16 bit of alpha.
So, two questions:
How do I do that? I have final Cut Studio installed. Does Compressor offer that? Do I have to do something special to achieve this or will it automatically do this right based on the input material?
How to I check if the result is really 12bit? Is there any tool that will tell me, if the resulting file is really a 12bit file (provided the "up to" in Apple's whitepaper was no accident)?

The only part of this equation that I can speak to is converting an image sequence to a quicktime move.
Simplest way to work with an image sequence is to use quicktimeplayer7 to open an image sequence and then save it. It will save as a quicktime with the same properties as the individual image files. You will have to define the desired frame rate. If I remember correctly, quicktime player 7 is an optional install on the snow leopard disk. Not sure if it's still included with Lion or Mountain Lion.
You can change the still image default length to one frame and import all your still images into fcp and then simply drag them to the timeline, but fcp will struggle to play the sequence. If you need to work this way, you should immediately export as a quicktime.
Also, be sure and use leading zeros in numbering your image sequence as apple (and fcp) will not sort files properly, unless for example, your files are labelled. 001, 002, 003, etc. (assuming you have less than 1000 files).

I am trying to change or add the email address which is attached to my itunes account. I keep getting a notice saying email address is already verified for another Apple ID. Im sure its one of my devices. How can I get my current email address added?

My itunes account is attached to an email account that I no longer have and cannot retrieve. I have been having trouble with purchases made to my itunes account and want to view my purchases. The support center said that they would email me the purchase history. However, I don't have that email address. When I go to change my email address to my current one, I get a message in red saying that "the email address is already verified for another Apple I.D." I'm sure it is one of my devices as we have 4 ipods and 2 iphones. How can I get my account to use my current email address? If one of my devices was registered using my current email address as it apparently was, do I need to figure out which device that is and remove the email address from that account? I'm so confused. I just want ALL my devices to use my current email address. I need to replace the old email address with my current one. How do I do that?

Your best bet would be to try resetting the password to the account that you would like to use via iForgot
Once you log in to that account change the email address to anything, it can even be fake its just a placeholder
After you do that you will be free to change your old email address on your appleID to the new one that is now free to be used as it is no longer attached to the other account.

Does this mean it never ran in background?

How do I set up different icloud accounts for each family member and make them able to access them on our common mac using their user name on the mac. I am doing this to make sure kids don't get access to our messages.

We have several apple products in the family. I would like to set up different icloud accounts for each memeber. I lately noticed having activated different devices with same icloud account that each device can access everyones messages by going in their settings and clicking which number or email they want to use to see messages. Let me make sure I am understood, on my sons ipod in his messages settings he can switch to my cell number and see all my messages. Re setting the devices isn't my great issue but can i set up each kids user account on my mac to their individual icloud accounts?

Any devices connected to the same icloud account can sync all the data on that account. For this reason an icloud account is really for a single user.
On a mac, if each user has their own account, then the itunes for that mac account should be set up to connect to that user's icloud account (System preferences>icloud).

After restoring to factory settings/new iPod you will then have to restore from backup

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

I have had the system (but with different PSU and FX5200 graphics card) for just over 12 months and over that time have experienced odd reboots or program crashes mainly when using the X-Plane flight simulator program – this hammers the cpu but hardly uses the disk. Just over 2 weeks ago I upgraded the PSU and graphics card to those shown above. But the problem has continued or even got worse.
So the problem is that X-Plane program will often crash or cause a system reboot and I have even had a few occurrences of the AVG System Scan or the Burn In Test programs also causing reboots.
I have checked loads of stuff including using system counter logs, etc to see if there is any unusual activity but all seems ok. I have also used the Burn In Test program to hammer the cpu, memory and video card at 100% load but all passed ok.
I have also been using the MSI-supplied PC Alert software (and also the BIOS info) to check temperatures and I THINK that temperature might be the problem but don’t understand why.
During recent testing (when the weather has been hot and sunny) the system seems to ‘idle’ with PC Alert showing temps of around 45(cpu) and 32(system), reaching these temps within ~10 minutes from 29(cpu) and 27(system) at start-up. If I run either X-Plane or BIT these temps can rise to around 50 and 35 and, coincidence or not, it is around these temps that the reboots, etc start to happen. Throughout all this the GPU temp is usually no higher than 60.
The questions I have are –
•   how does PC Alert or the BIOS actually read the temps i.e. are the above temps likely to be close to reality or could the CPU be much higher? (I have set the BIOS temp warning to 70)
•   since the cpu spec says that it can tolerate up to ~85 why should 50 cause it problems?
•   am I missing something!!!!
•   HELP – this is beginning to bug me!

Memory timings determine how good the modules are.
Low latency modules are for gaming/overclocking 2-2-2-5 or 2-2-2-6
These modules are a slight impact on system performance, gfx and of course offer the best possible memory transfer rates possible. (more responsive pc too).
However the slower modules, 2-3-3-5, 2.5-3-3-6, 2-3-2-6 are cheaper and nearly as good.
So 2x512mb of these will be very good too.

The GEIL VALUE RAM 2x512MB DUAL KIT 2.5-3-3-6 are the best low end modules.

As you have a 333FSB CPU, A PC3200 module would not offer any advantage in terms of memory bandwidth but it will be a better buy.

The memory timings are related to the memory frequency, the lower the frequency, the lower you can set the memory timings.
So a PC3200 2.5-3-3-6 module can run at 2-*3-*3-5 @ 166Mhz(PC2700 speeds).
*it should be 2.5 but no bios allows you to choose 2.5, only the first one can be set to 2.5
Or you could just get some PC2700 modules that are rated 2-2-2-5, these will be better for your CPU.

HT1414 When I hit restore a file menu from my computer pops up and I am not sure what file to put in to get my iphone to restore from. I don't get the box that says are you sure you want to restore. So how do I get it to restore so I can see if this fix

I got a "new" iphone from the Apple store when my dog bit the phone and cracked the front. This new phone will not play any music, ie no sound will come out. I can watch videos with sounds but no music from any of my playlists. I checked with Apple and was told to try to restore my iphone. I did all the necessary prep work like backing up and syncing and then hit the restore button on the iTunes page. A file menu icon popped up with a blank in it and I do not know what file I need to put in the window as where it needs to find a file to restore the phone. I never got a message that said are you sure you want to restore the phone. I need some help if anyone knows how to do this or should I just go back to the Apple store (which is over an hour away)? I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.
