Hi, Susanaenger, and welcome to the Community,
Please check both your Skype account and PayPal account purchase histories.  In the case of your Skype account, check if any subscriptions are still active that you thought were cancelled.
If the charges appear on your Skype account purchase history and your PayPal account, please contact Skype customer service for further assistance.  Reading this FAQ article ahead of time will also be helpful: https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA10384/why-has-my-credit-debit-card-been-charged-by-skype-when-i-h...
If the charges appear only on your PayPal account, you need to contact PayPal to rectify this and to report the fraudulent charges.
Regards,
Elaine

  • PayPal payment refunded by Skype

In August I paid a first monthly sub to Skype by PayPal, no problem.
Came to renew it on the 9th September, and chose the 12 month option.  Paid by PayPal, which went through, but it was immediately refunded by Skype.  The refunded payment was however added to my monthly limits total for PayPal, as if the payment had been accepted, so preventing my trying again.
I got onto Skype chat support, and was told there was a problem with my PayPal account.  I had made other payments elsewhere recently (and successfully made others within hours of this conversation), but I phoned PayPal who assured me there was no problem with my account.
I went back to Skype chat support and explained that there was no problem with my PayPal account, and no reason from PayPal's point of view why Skype should issue a refund.  The operator soon got into 'stuck record' mode, repeating that if there was a glitch with accepting PayPal payments, that was something I'd have to take up with PayPal, ignoring my assurances that I already had, and refusing to tell me what precise record of the transactions led him to that conclusion.  From the operator's point of view this was easier I suppose than actually checking out Skype's set-up.
Eventually paid for a single month's sub using a debit card.
Seems to me there's a glitch with Skype's set-up somewhere, and I'd like to avoid a repetition.
    Any ideas?

  • PayPal payment issue.

I was a unlimited world subscriber for the last 5-8 years (long enough not to remember). My monthly subscription payment would always be charged from PayPal. On Aug 24, 2013 skype sent me an email that my subscription was cancelled due to a PayPal issue. There was no issue with PayPal for the last 10 years. Now when I return back to re-activate my subsription it appears $13.99/month while I always paid $9.99/month. It looks like a setup to make me pay a higher monthly fee. At the moment I am trying to find skype's customer support email. They hide it pretty well. Anyone can provide their email?

    Hello,
Using some else's thread is not only unfair to the thread starter but can lead to confusion and cause difficulty for those who are trying to assist you.
You have a different issue to that which is being discussed there. Please start your own thread .

  • Spam notification of Paypal payment on opening Sky...

I have just purchased a Kindle Fire HD and spent a while yesterday lunchtime getting to grips with it.  I decided to load Skype on it so that I can keep in touch with friends and family via the web as I do not have a mobile phone.
Imagine my horror last night when I received an email from Paypal telling me that Skype had taken a payment for £45.65 for a six month subscription!  I knew that there had not been any request for payment that I had authorised.  On the bottom of the Paypal page was a link telling me that if there was a dispute about the payment to click the link, which I did, but luckily my security on the pc cut in and warned of a threat!
I have been to my Paypal account this morning and found that no such payment has been made.  I have found this to be very worrying indeed.
Have other new Skype members been targeted in the same sort of way?

I just lost a potentially huge customer because he paid me money for a product but I never got an email from Paypal like all the other hundreds of payment notifications they had sent to me previously. I'm wondering how many other sellers have gotten this problem. When I called Paypal the first lady said they were upgrading their equipment during that time I was supposed to get that notification so it may have never gone out.  I asked her to resend that email so I know it was my error but they said they couldn't track that down because of the volume of emails.  I explained my situation where it makes my company look bad to the customer like I dropped the ball when I had nothing to do with it.  The supervisor said that they cannot write the customer an apology because it may be something to do with Gmail.  I explained that this CAN NOT happen again so I need to figure this out.  They said that everything at Paypal is working fine and that all emails are sent out consistently and I should have gotten it.  Then he went about saying that even he didn't get some payment notifications on things he sold in the past.  So what is it?  Is Paypal doing a great job corresponding with their sellers or not?  I checked to see if I trashed it or it was in the junk but no luck.  I don't think I ever got the email but have no way to prove otherwise Thank youBrad

  • Not receiving some Paypal payments

I am receiving some Paypal payments, but not others. I have run a test myself, charging my own Paypal account, and that works fine, and I have received a Paypal payment from one customer. But three other customer payments failed.
    What can be going wrong?

It is possible that the three that have "failed" are because the users have not completed the PayPal payment steps? You will receive a submission as soon as the user click on the "Proceed to Checkout" so even if they abandon the PayPal payment you will get a row in your table.
Do you think that this is what is happening here? Can you contact those customer to see if they actually try to pay.

  • Divide a Paypal payment on several accounts

Hi everyone, I'm currently integrating a Paypal payment on a webapp with IPN for notifications. All works fine, a customer can click on "Pay with Paypal" button, and will be redirected on his Paypal account to finish the payment. Now, I would know if is there a way to receive his payment divided on 2 Paypal accounts ? Something like 90% of the total payment on the first account, and 10% for the other... Maybe it's not directly possible with a simple Paypal button, but maybe with the IPN notification, could I programmatically send a certain amout of the verified payment on an other account ? Thank you.

    Hi, Carlos!
Is this payment due to be made? I mean, should customer have done this payment?
If so, I would run it from FB01, as described above. If it was an incorrect payment, that you will have to reverse it to your customer, I would create a credit memo and clear it further.
Please, give more details regarding your business scenario. Will be easier to help you.
Also, if your account is managed by open item, try FB05. Transaction to be processed: Incoming Payment

  • HT202631 Paypal payment method

Hi. As for the Paypal payment option, can I use my Paypal balance to buy apps from the App Store or music from iTunes? Is it possible to use that method of payment without having any credit or debit cards linked to my Paypal account?

    Hi,
    you create your payment methods in the IMG;
Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Business Transactions > Payments > Incoming/Outgoing Payment Creation > Define Payment Methods
and you assign them just one line bellow:
Define Specifications for Paying Company Code
    Cheers,

  • Web forms taking paypal payments

Hi all! I remember at the Sydney BC Parters group on 3rd June that one of the presenters said that they had worked out how to take paypal payments from a web form.
In light of the new changes to offline processing (http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2321), we would like to change our offline payment processing customers to take payment from paypal instead. However, they use webforms at the moment to take their payments. Can anyone suggest how to take paypal payments from web forms?
    Thanks so much everyone!

Best thing with BC stuff is to. It hold out waiting for them. Even of they are announced and a date that's 3 months away is set they often do not happen.
Even when release notes role out and then happens things often are pulled out of them.
You will need to get a client to use seamless payment gateway or look at other options Mel. No ETA still.

  • Firefox does not allow page re-directing for paypal payment

firefox does not allow page re-directing for paypal payment. How do I fix this problem. It occurs with several sites where it was not a previous problem. When I press "allow", I get returned to the very beginning of the order process.

I really appreciate your (spookily timely) help. Yes, I did try safe mode once.
The problem with testing this problem is that I have to have something in the cart to buy, and if it works I've bought it.
I was hoping to find that someone else had already done the logic and experimenting part, and the solution was just 'out there'. I did get one response (from Daz3d) that said Firefox had been having a problem with PayPal on their site, but no details.
And as soon as I buy what I need using a credit card, as far as they're concerned the problem is done.

  • What can I do about the large number of Paypal payments that fail to go through?

Many of my customers need to repeat their signup process 2 or 3 times before their Paypal payment is accepted.
Or worse still, they think payment has gone through, and unless I check the form responses every day, I don't even know that they think they have registered but in fact haven't paid.

I'm having the exact same problem. It's really bad for business. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

  • How can I get warrnty with just paypal payment?

    Hello
I bought new ipod touch 3rd by ebay last August and now I need repair.
I have not received bills but just have paypal payment transaction.
When I go to service center with paypal payment transaction, service center guy refused service because paypal payment does not contain serial number.
I had asked ebay seller receipt with serial, but they refused also...
Well... Could anybody give me an aidvice how can I get free warranty?
I bought new, but when I check by apple service center webpage with my serial number, it said my service period has beenalready expired... Even I bought new product last August...

If you bought it from E-Bay, then you have no idea when it was originally purchased.
The warranty begins on the date of original purchase.
Apparently the one year warranty, from the date of original purchase, has expired.

  • Adobe FormsCentral PayPal Payment Processing Purchase Fields

How can I ger PayPal payment processing to find more than 9 of the 11 priced fields on my registration form created from an Adobe template?

  • PayPal payment option is broken

I can't believe that iTunes website has such obvious bugs and they are not getting fixed.     I tried selecting PayPal payment method 3 times.   Each time it worked fine on PayPal side and a billing agreement was created, but redirect back to iTunes web site didn't work and when I was trying to get an app I was asked for a card again and again.

Thank you so much for your response because it is helping me to see that this is an INTERNAL problem at ITUNES and it has been ongoing. I see your response is dated 4-26-11 and mine is 12-28-11. This is so RIDICULOUS as you said. ITUNES should be on top of this by now!!!!
