Biller Direct  Agent Mode error

I am currently trying to setup Biller Direct to show the Agent Mode.  Below are the steps i haven taken:
1. Changed the XCM mode settings to Agent Mode:  epbbmode = OA
2. Rebooted the Java Instance
2. Added the security to SAP User ID - We have giving the user all authorizations for Biller Direct
3. The user logs in to through the standard Biller Direct Login page and they are logged in successfully
4. The user is then displayed the standard "You have successfully logged on Select your account" page.
5. When the user selects one of the accounts listed on the page, they receive the following error message, "The service is not available at the moment. Try again later"
Has any successfully launched the agent mode for Biller Direct.  If you have could you please help us determine why we are receiving this error message after logging in.
We were able to successfully use  the Standard and Caller Center Search Modes for Biller Direct.

1) someone wiser than I please correct me but I believe you do not need to restart the java engine after XCM changes nor Visual Admin changes but you do after UME changes.
2) "The service is not available at the moment" is a general error message kept simple to not worry the user. If you go into NW Admin and set the level of logging to "debug" then you see real messages and can diagnose, perhaps in conjunction with ST01 on R3.
3) I did set OA and accessed my customers.
I am on BD 6.00 and NW  7.00 SP18

  • SAP Biller Direct PDF Retrieval Error

    Hi All,
    We are getting error while opening PDF on Biller Direct portal. The error comes in pop-up as follows->
    Adobe Reader could not open "XXX.pdf" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged or wasn't correctly decoded.
    The original PDF document is stored in FileNet server and we are using a ABAP Function module GEN_EBPP_GET_INVOIVE_DETAIL to retrieve the PDF content from FileNet server and display it in Biller Direct application.
    Note: The same PDF is getting opened from ABAP.
    Pls let me know if there is any settings to be done in either ABAP side or in Visual Admin. I've checked VA entries in HTTP Provider and it is set MIME type as {.pdf,application/pdf}.
    Is there any other information that i'm missing here. Pls give me a hint.Thanks in advance.

    I also get something similar which I need to solve.
    When going to biller direct via a url like http://<host>:<port>/bd/public/frameset_top_html.jsp?ebppMode=S I see my pdf icon next to the open bill in the open bills list and clicking the icon displays my pdf correctly.
    When going via a portal and clicking the same icon for the same invoice I get the same first popup asking if I want to open the pdf file (as in the case above with the same identifier name for the pdf file) but this time when I click Open then Adobe Reader opens a window with the message "There was an error opening this document. This file cannot be found."
    Thus the portal connection cannot find the existing pdf file.

  • Make overpaymnets in Biller Direct standard mode

    Hi Guru's,
    Is it possible to make an overpayment through Biller Direct in standard mode. I mean we have setup Biller Direct and enabled the standard mode and not balance mode.
    I want to know if it is possible to make an overpayment i.e pay 200 usd by direct bank debit method for a invoice amounting to 100 USD.

  • Connection Management Error in Biller Direct Application

    Hi Experts,
    We are in the process of implementing Biller Direct Solution for the Suppliers/Vendor!
    All the XCM Settings , Backend Settings , Portal Settings have been in place and we were able to run the application without any difficulties but all of a sudden now , when we run the Biller Direct Application , an error appears which says "Error" (Thats it) .
    In NWA , i get the below errors but not sure what can be the issue or how can i resolve it. I am sure it relates to Connection Management Pool but not sure what settings does it requires.
    Errors in NWA:
    1) The Standard Pool Connection BillerDirect_#bd" for language "EN" could not be created. There is an existing connection with this name.
    2) Recurring Error in the initialization of the application "ConnectionManager.initdefaultpool failed
    3) Could not create Connection Manager Scenario-Biller Direct
    4) Java Exception "java.lang.NullPointerException has occurred". Check the trace for location "com.sap.fin.webbase.taglib.LogExceptionTag"

  • Error in Biller Direct

    Hi All,
    I am getting following error in biller direct after log in.
    "Your user master has not been created correctly. Contact your system administrator."
    My observation In the ECC side is:
    In RFC RFC EBPP_GET_ACTIVITI
    I_PARTNER-PARTNERTYPE
    and
    I_PARTNER-PARTNERKEY
    is blank.

    I have checked. This note is not applicable for us. We are in ECC 6.0.
    In the code it is using following logic:
    FI uses only 14 characters - cocd(4) + account(10)
    objectkey-cocd    = L_objkey+0(4). "C101
    objectkey-account = L_objkey+4(10). "2
    Then it is firing the follwoing SQL
    SELECT SINGLE * FROM  LFB1
    WHERE LIFNR = objectkey-account
    AND   BUKRS = objectkey-cocd.
    I am not using vendor but customer. Again it has its own logic for company code.

  • Biller Direct Error "We regret the service is not currently available"

    We have installed Biller Direct software (604 SP10) on our Java server (701 SP8) and it is connected to R/3 backend system (702 SP5). After Biller Direct software installation, we ran the following steps
    1. Login to biller direct url
    2. Leave blank in all fields (Customer No, Name and City) then click Find Customer
    3. It lists few customers list, then when we click any of description for CustomerNo it displayed the following error.
    "We regret the service is not currently available. Please try again later."
    In the default traces we have seen the following error details:

    Please logoff the system and restart the system again and then check.Also check what is the CRM package that you are using.Check wheather CRM 4.0 60.2.3 package is there or not.
    The following tables should be configured,or you will get this sort of errors.This configuration should be done in the backend by FI
    -> BCONTCD
    ->  BCONTT
    ->  BCONTA
    -> TFKEBP

    Error -3150, normally mean there is no Internet connection or the connection is erratic and keeps dropping.

  • Tax issue with Direct Input mode of RFBIBL00

    Hi, I have a problem using <b>RFBIBL00</b> (direct input mode) to create A/R invoices. There is no tax associated with the invoice, however, when I use direct input mode, instead of posting immediately, a batch input session is created. In the log, an <b>information</b> message: <i>'Specify a tax jurisdiction key'</i>. The BDC session is processed with no error.
    When using Call transaction mode for RFBIBL00, the document is posted immediately but the requirement is to use Direct input mode.
    There is no converted data in the BBTAX structure since the doc. does not need to post to tax account. Do I need to populate the Tax amount, Tax code and jurisdiction code in this structure and BBSEG in order to by pass the information message?

    Problem solved. Just need to untie the relationship between the ITEM import structure and the BBTAX so the Direct Input program will not require a tax jurisdiction code.

  • Biller Direct sporadically not posting Credit Card Payments to the backend

    Hope someone has experience this issue before.  While we are part of the Public Sector - Higher Ed group, I believe others may have experience this issue.  I have spoken with the other Higher Ed customers and we have all experienced this, some more than others.    We have students who are trying to pay by Credit Card on Biller Direct.  While their payment is validated and their Credit Card  debited the payment does not feed to the ERP FICA system.  This can happen to one student and a second later another student can pay successfully then the student in error tries again and it does not work.  Some of these student have a lock that has been released.  We can post the payment successfully using Cash Desk at the same time the student can not post through Biller Direct.  Any help is appreciated.

  • Biller Direct and CRM billing

    Dear Experts,
    Could anyone kindly help to tell me how to deploy Biller Direct? If my company has the license of FSCM, does it mean Biller Direct has  been deployed already?
    Also, I want to make fully use of CRM billing function. I have seen a demo of biller Direct usage on ISA website, any expert knows how biller direct and CRM billing can interact with each other?

  • Biller Direct Issue  BP not released

    We have performed the configuartion for Biller Direct.
    When we log on we get the following error message
    You are not authorized to execute this function, as your business partner has not released it for you.
    Has anyone seen this before, if so how do you resolve this.
    We have given the user in R/3 access to all FSCM delivered roles.

    Can you please confirm whether you had performed following steps.
    1) for the SC FSCM_BD, you had defined it's build-time dependencies in SLD.
    2) After that you have updated the CMS.
    3) Then, you added the FSCM_BD to your Track and Saved the Track. And while saving the track you had chosen "Save & Reimport" options.
    4) Make sure you have placed the FSCM_BD sca into CMS/inbox folder at OS level.
    5) Then, from the CMS Transport Studio you had you had checked-In those Components from Check-In Tab.
    6) And then, imported the Components into Development and Consolidation Tabs.
    7) Now, if you import the Track configuration into your developer studio, it must bring all your Build time dependecies as well all ther DCs that you need to modify.
    If you have missed any of the above mentioned steps, then correct it.
    One more input, also check whether the Developer ID that you are working with has the "NWDI.Developer" UME role assigned to it.
    Let me know about your findings.

  • Incoming payments(card payment) in biller direct not updating in SAP.

    we are using the FSCM Biller direct for customer incoming payment.  we have maintained the payment method (incoming) and credit card number in customer master.
    every think is displaying in biller direct like open items and clear items.  But we received a payment from customer through credit card and its updating in portal, but its not updating SAP.  it's in inactive mode when i am trying to clear the open items.  giving the message that this amount is already done in biller direct.
    so please suggest me how the open items are cleared when the payment are received through biller direct.

    thank for your reply.  I have not posted in SAP.  customer has paid the payment in Portal and i have selected the payment for the line item.  Now that line item is coming in progress condition (not in processed).
    in SAP that line item is not active.  If i will select the line item system will give the message that is line item is processed in biller direct.
    please tell me the process of biller direct payments in SAP and then only in portal the payment line item will be go to the process item (now its in in process condition).  is their any upload for the payment document in SAP.
    please suggess me Standard payment process through Biller direct.  then i will compare the present senarious.

    I am facing an issue with SAP Biller Direct. We made the initial setting through Extended Configuration Management (XCM) wherein we created a new Customer in Application Settings. We made some Application settings and Connection Manager settings. Once we try logging into the Biller direct application using our Host http://HostName:port/bdisu we are prompted with Login Id and password. We tried logging in using the default userid which was provided during Biller Direct Installation but we are getting the error "A general problem has occurred within the logon. The error message is: ".
    Please provide us some thoughts on how to rectify this error. Let us know if we need to make some User Management Configs. Also any documentation of how to implement UCES would be very helpful.

    Hi everyone,
    I have a problem with the integration with biller direct. The connection test says that everything is okay. But when I'm trying to logon the following message appears:
    "A general problem has occurred within the logon. The error message is: . "
    Any ideas how to solve this problem?
    I think the XCM configuration is okay. The connection between the application and the SAP system is okay as well. I already made some customizing in FI-CA. Is there something I missed?

    I created an example user in the sap system ECC 6.0 linked with an business partner (Object1006). So the user data are stored in the backend (FI-CA).
    With FI-AR I had no problems, it works fine. So it seems that there is really a customizing or something missing in FI-CA.
