BILLING and PHANTOM CHARGES

I have had verizon fios for about a year now. Every month I have had to contact them about charges for stuff I did not order. Movies channels and packages I did not order keep showing up. They put the MLB package on my bill and I had to call back 3 months in a row to get each 50 dollar charge off which I still had to pay and they would credit me back with it. This month I got hbo/cinemax charges I never ordered. I also got a 99$ non equipment return fee. I had a bad router so they sent me a new one never told me to send the old one back or send packaging and shipping paid for it.  I guess I am suppose to be charged for their lack of informing me of having to return it. Let alone the fact that I have to pay for the shipping because of their faulty equipment. All I am saying is CHECK YOUR BILL every month and watch for phantom charges that you will have to pay and be reimbursed on your next bill.

I do apologize for the problems you had with the billing office. We do not expect customers to pay for shipping back of our defective equipment. Anytime we ship new equipment to customers, it has instructions on what to do with old equipment, a prepaid return, as well as a price sheet that shows the amount charged if the equipment is not returned within 30 days.

  • My bills and call charges

I am really annoyed with b.t i have been a customer of there's for years but i am seriously now thinking of leaving, when i got my last bill i noticed there were 4 or 5 charges for films that i had never downloaded or even watched, not only that but there were charges on there for premium rate phone calls, that i know i have never ever made,i spoke to someone at ofcom and they told me to write a letter to them and keep a copy to voice my complaints and i have done but too no avail,i always thought that b.t. prided themselves on customer service, well i am sorry to say they have let this customer down badly, firstly they tell me that there is no barring facility for premium rates on my internet phone when i know there is i put it there over 4yrs ago,so i rung I.T. up and they went through it with me and checked that my boxes for international, mobile, and premium rate boxes all had ticks in them which ment the barring facility is in use, then they said someone must have removed it to make these calls,i live on my own,am disabled,on benefits, and would never make those types of phone calls any way, they are too expensive, but why have i not heard any thing back from any of the managers at B.T. were i wrote to last month,i have given them ample time to answer my letter of complaint, and begrudgingly i have since paid the bill,i have no idea what to do now as this is so annoying for me,can someone please help me with this query do i stay with b.t or go with another company

  • Billing and useage charges

Since June, a Verizon number has been counting toward my 500 text limit when the number should be on my Unlimited M2M.  I called back in August several times and was finally supposedly given a 400.00 credit.  The cedit has not been applied and the number is still being applied toward my 500 text limit.  When I call they insist (once again) that it is not a Verizon number.  I was told before that an investigation was done and it WAS found to be a Verizon number.  A supervisor is supposed to call me tomorrow.  What other recourse do I have?

That's the problem.  The number does not show up as a Verizon number.  I know the family-their bill comes from Verizon and I even had their account number.  The number continues to not show up as a Verizon number.  The last time I called about this, after several calls, I finally had someone find the number and confirm it was a Verizon #.  I assumed they had fixed it in the computer or whatever.  I was wrong.

  • I tried to pay my bill and My Verizon says my bill is paid in full but they never charged my bank account.

Title says it all.  For some reason Verizon never charged my bank account for my bill but it says it is paid for.  I'm all for getting a free month of cell service but I think it would be best if I get this fixed so I don't spend the money I was going to use for the bill and then have Verizon randomly charge my account lol.  Anyone else have this problem in the past or know what I should do to fix it?

  • Outrageous bill and excessing usage

Are we signed up to play the role of "the rich and ignorant?"  Evidentlywe are, bc I have been getting outrageous bills and claims that I am using 20 g each month all of a sudden and there is no way.  Before the 4g (4th generation) service, my family had no problems doing what we wanted through our tablets or phones.  Now, we have to "starve" our enjoyment of the digital age and education time due to being charged these fees.  We see no difference that would validate Verizon's outrageous bill.  The service is no faster than it was and it actually drags like it s r struggles to load our pages.  So Verizon's answer is always to check to see if this is running in the background, etc.  NO....WE CHECKED EVERYTHING ALREADY.  EVERYTHING IS TURNED OFF LIKE WE HAVE A BASIC PHONE AND ITS STILL HAPPENING.  Why should we have to spend countless hours doing what verizon should've done before they pushed these phones and service in our faces.  It's Verizon's job to give their customers the best Problem-free service.  Not ours.  We have jobs.  The Times we have to spend on our devices is supposed to be for our enjoyment or whatever else we may choose to do with it.  Not working for verizon and receiving A bill for it.
Anyone care to fix this?  verizon perhaps.....

  • Problems with Customer Service AND unexplained charges!

I've been with Verizon for I-don't-know-how-many years, and through the years you are bound to have a few problems here and there but some of the problems are just ridiculous! It's also the same reocurring problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was with Alltel first, before it was bought out by Verizon. The years I was with Alltel, I didn't have near as many problems. It seems EVERY time I do the smallest change or something to my phone or bill, I get a ridiculous amount of charges that I was NOT aware of, nor told about... EVEN IF I ask "So this isn't going to change my bill, or there will not be any unexpected/unexplained charges that I don't know about?"... BUT not matter how many times I ask... and NO matter how many times I am told "no"... there always is. For example.... last year, I updated and signed a new 2 year contract and purchased the first Driod. Before, my 30 day warranty was up, I was having problems with my Driod, and decided to send it in and get a new one. Before I did this.. I called customer service to make sure there would be no interuption in my bill, and there wouldn't be any unexpect charges, and there would be no difference in anything. I was told there was not, and once I recieved my new phone, just send it in and nothing would be changed. Of course, when I get my bill.. I see I was charged $500 for the new phone. It was explained to me that my credit card was reimbursed (which I never check that card, because I never used it expect to purchase the phone) and that I was recharged for the new phone, since it was a new phone. So I had to fork out the $500 (on top of my bill) and then wait months to get the $100 rebate card. Months after that, I "assumed liablity of my line" because I was on a plan with my family. I decided to have my own line, so I "assumed liability." I was not told that when I did that, I "renewed" my contract date. So I just added 6 more months to my 2 year contract. Was NOT told about that! Then again...... I was recently having problems with my Driod (the screen went black and would not come back on.) I had to turn on an OLD motorola razor, so I would not be without a phone for two days while I was waiting on my phone to come in. As soon as my phone came in, I had my Droid turned back on. I recieved my bill recently, and my bill was $200 over what it normally should be.... so I called in... apparently, when I had my phone replaced, they dropped off my data package and when I recieved my replacement driod, they never put it back on. So I was being charged for alllll my data usage... again I was NOT told about this. I wasn't even aware that they had dropped off my data package, and when/where did they get the authority to do that??? These are just a FEW of the problems that I have had.................................
Does anyone have these reoccuring problems!?

I understand that my bill can be viewed online, and I do view it fairly regularly, so if there are any unexplained charges, I can call Verizon asap. The problem does not come from me not understanding my bill, but from customer service. I have been with Verizon for a very long time, and it is a continuing problem. Where did Verizon get the 'OK' to drop my data package off my plan? Who authorized that?
After calling Verizon and trying to find out the problem, the gentleman told me that when I activated on old phone while I was waiting on my new Droid to arrive, my data package was dropped off and I "should" have been told about that. When I reactiviated my new Droid, I "should" have called and had them restart my data package. I was not aware that when you activate an old phone that data plan is taken off your plan. In all my years of having cell phones, I never make two years with one phone. I have always, at one point, had to turn on an old phone, and my data package has NEVER changed. Why would I have my data package dropped and why would I have to call Verizon to have it restarted. I would never know to do that unless I was TOLD that my data packaged HAD to be re-added when I recieved my new phone, but I was never told of that.
All of that is beside the point, the point is, Verizon was never given the authorization to change my plan. Never. My bill was taken care of and readjusted, and I am thankful for that. It does not change the fact it is always a hassle with Verizon Customer Service and I am always the one having to PROVE that I am not at fault, or that I was NEVER told of certian things. EVERY TIME I HAVE CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE, I AM TOLD "I'M SORRY, THEY SHOULD HAVE TOLD YOU THAT."
"they should" does not help my bill with the extra armount of charges.

  • Best avenue to file complaints about bill and have them resolved

I have been a customer since before 2005 and went with Ntelos in November, I called the night I was at Ntelos to ask Verizon what my contract buy outs were and I was given the prices. The representative tried to offer me whatever promotions she could offer (there wasn't many) and I declined service (there she should have took the initiative to ask about disconnecting). Since my bf opted to keep his number his phone disconnected automatically. I was told my Verizon phone would cycle off within 24 - 48 hours by the Ntelos rep. That was not the case so I called verizon to ensure my phone would disconnect and they told it would at the end of the billing cycle (december 20) which makes sense. I understand I would be responsible for the November - December. Anyways, December 20th rolls around and mind you I've called already to ensure it will take place and it doesn't. I phone in and come to find out the person who took my orders didn't complete the disconnection and now I have to wait until January 20th for it to cycle off and I can finally pay my bill! Well get this in my November - December bill they've charged me $51 for Monthly access (I have a work discount) and $49.99 for insurance and smartphone access for 12/21 - 1/20 and won't refund my $51 as they say that I called out on the phone. I turned the phone on and had voicemails that I think I checked around the time period that they are mentioning (1 day) and that data was used (1 day) I had no outbound calls after December 11th my birthday. Because there are no comments in my account (that I specifically asked them to make) my phone should have been disconnected when I had called in the first of December... really!?! The phone should have been turned off regardless and it was one day out of 30 seriously? I mean the phone has been turned off this whole time and literally only checked to make sure Verizon did their job. I CAN'T HELP IT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO YOUR JOB, I PUT THE EFFORT IN MULTIPLE TIMES TO LET YOU KNOW MY PHONE NEEDED TO BE DISCONNECTED YOU SHOULD HAVE KEPT RECORD OF IT!!! What really heats me up is that I was told a supervisor would give me a call back after they got out of a meeting and I have not rec'd a call back yet. VERIZON Reps/Supervisors your customers are the reason why you have get a paycheck, I suggest you start treating them a little better. You can't seriously tell me giving me back my $51 for service I DID NOT USE (except according to you for one day you can't even give me details about?) is really going to hurt your pockets. I've been jerked around by your reps for the last 2 months as one told me my contracts were up in January and I shouldn't' be charged for disconnection fees at all, she credited me those termination fees but they later got rejected (after she said her supervisor approved while I was on hold) and NO ONE HAD THE COURTESY TO NOTIFY ME!
I've worked in customer service before and I'll be first to tell you that your reps are not trained very well and you have horrible ethic! You should not charge your customers for an error that was your fault; especially since it was your reps that I asked specifically to note my account and didn't (this isn't my first rodeo with you all, it should be standard procedure to give your reps time to comment before throwing them into another phone call). I'm not doing this for my health here, that $51 could buy diapers and baby food for my daughter and you are crazy if you think I'm going to let it slip through my fingers to line your pockets. I will keep escalating it until you do something about it and I don't care that you already gave me an inconvenience credit I deserve that and my $51 so don't try to justify it that way! This has been way more than an inconvenience, so don't worry I'll inconvenience you as well!

With my new provider I am only using the chat function to settle anything with them so I can save the conversations I've had with them (not that I've had any issues thus far). It should be standard procedure for them to comment your account while they are on the phone with you before hanging up. I should have been annoying and asked them to read back their comments (hindsight ugh!).  I'm sorry that you are having to deal with this as well, just know you are not the only one receiving horrible customer service. I'll share with you what I wrote on their Facebook page. They really should take some accountability for their actions and have better follow up on resolving issues (or train their representatives better). I can't stand having to talk to another person time and time again explaining the same thing i just explained to 3 people before them.
Almost immediately, I received some attention after posting this:
    Dear Verizon,
I am appalled, especially after reading your credo, that you are refusing to credit back money that is owed to me because your representatives didn't take the necessary time that they should have to comment (after I specifically asked) in my account after I diligently called in multiple times to ensure that my disconnection took place when it was scheduled to and was told that it would (an ongoing issue since the beginning of December). Come to find out that the representatives I spoke with prior to December 20th didn't do their jobs correctly by not entering the disconnection orders in. "Verizon Credo- a set of principles that describes our culture of integrity, respect, performance excellence and accountability. The Credo is a blueprint that directs us to live up to the highest standards possible when serving our customers, shareowners, communities and each other." Let me school you on something here because it appears that you just put that mission statement up on your website 'cause it sounds good, you certainly do not follow through! Accountability: Noun - the quality or state of being accountable; especially an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one's actions (i.e. public officials lacking accountability). It doesn't matter that you cannot find any proof in my statements it doesn't change the fact that it happened and I am not a liar. I seriously wouldn't exhaust this must effort had I been lying. I'll take this a step further and reference your statement "we focus outward on the customer, not inward. We make it easy for customers to do business with us, by listening, anticipating and responding to their needs." First of all, when I made my initial call to you all asking what my contract buyout prices were and your rep tried to offer me promotions (or lack there of) to keep me as a customer and I declined she should have "anticipated" my need for disconnection. I shouldn't have had to jump through so many hoops to get my service disconnected from you all and pay my final bill. It's not my fault that your representatives weren't trained well enough to correctly put through disconnection orders. Based on my interactions with your customer service I could see where people would disconnect their services regularly!!!!! You are not making it easy for me to severe ties with you and conduct BUSINESS and you are not responding to my NEEDS. I think you forget that I could be a potential customer in the future. If it's one thing I learned from my Communications Degree is that negative feedback will reach more consumers vs. positive feedback of a company and how they handle their business. I have 1,000 plus facebook friends and twitter followers so I'm pretty sure my negative experience could reach quite a few people! You say you have integrity? How is it moral uprightness to charge me for a whole month of service (regardless if the phone was turned on once) for a billing period that shouldn't have existed if your customer service reps did their job correctly? I suggest that you all take a good look at the way you are treating your current customers because we are the reason you get a paycheck! You should make your customers a priority especially if they've been with you for 10 + years regardless if they are disconnecting service or not! How about following through, taking ACCOUNTABILITY and having that supervisor representative call me back from my phone conversation last night like I am a priority (how every customer should be treated) and helping me get the money that I am owed, regardless if the phone had been turned on for a short period (your rep couldn't even tell me what numbers I supposedly called - exactly the phone has been off since December 20th if not before unless turned on to confirm disconnection)! Oh but let me guess did you all forget to put that in my account comments as well? Probably like there is no mention of the formal complaint I filed against some of your representatives that there was supposedly no ticket number for. I thought I was going to regret leaving Verizon for another provider but it turns out that I only wish I would have left sooner and actually gone to a authorized dealer/ Verizon Store to process my disconnection because your customer service line is a joke!

  • Paid bill and switched to monthly payments...

Hi, I just paid my bill in full and have now swtiched to monthly direct debits to avoid the payment charges. My question is this, as I was billed in advance for line rental etc, when will BT start collecting the monthly payments, as surely I am now in credit for 3 months? Will they just collect any call charges for the next 3 months?
    Thanks in advance

If you have moved to the Monthly Payment Plan (quarterly bills with regular monthly payments), your monthly payment should include line rental, package costs and call charges. This means that you will have more or less paid the next bill by the time it arrives. (There will be some discrepancy because call charges vary, but this is catered for by subsequent reviews of your monthly payment.)
On the other hand, if you have changed to monthly billing, I would expect the next 3 bills to be for calls only and subsequent ones to include a month's line rental and package charges in advance. But you don't always get what you expect, and in this case I would check with BT via Live Chat.

  • Where to maintain processing and related charges

    Hi gurus,
Customer gies material-Meat to our company to process(cut into peacs etc) to our company  and Our company process meat
and delivers to customer. Here we charge customer fr processing the meat, charges for storaging if it is required, and also charging carrying charges for labour etc for picking and packing. Here i have to charge customer  for processing, storage and carrying every time customer gives material for processing.
Can anybody tell me how to do whether i need to create dummy material for processing, how to maintain condition types, also where need to  maintain condition type for storage and where these storage charges apply is it at delivery doc level  and where i need to maintain carrying charges. at which sales doc level these charges have to be applied( at delvy or invoice level)
    Pls advice me
    regards

I can mention some steps to start with -
    1. Go to VOV8 - open Doc, type OR - click on 'Copy As' button - change the order type (any name starting with Z e.g. ZSER)
    2. Go to SPRO->Sales and Distribution-> Billing-> Create Billing type
Here also create a new billing type by copying F2
    3. Go to VOV7 - create item categoty ZTAD by copying TAD
(all your copy controls will get copied - you can check at VTFA)
(in all the steps above whenever any prompt appears asking of coping data - always select Yes)
    Now for pricing -
    1. You need to create condition tables (V/03) with fields which determines price (e.g. weight, etc.). Then create an Access sequesce (V/07) and assign the condition tables to it.
    2. Create Condition types for each of the charges (V/06). You can copy standard cond. type PR00 to create condition types. But only one condition can have condition class as price (e.g. Processing) rest should be Discount or Surcharge.
Change the calculation type as Quantity (for service items you need to enter the weight of meat being processed in quantity column). Assign the access seq. to the cond. types. You can allow manual entry by leaving the No Limit field blank.
    3. If you have taxes - you need to create condition types for that in a similiar way with calculation type %
    4. Next you need to do entire pricing procedure set up (V/08)
    Finally GL account assignment -
    T-Code - VKOA
Its difficult to explain here all step by step processes. The above may help you to start. Pls. go through SAP help and other step-by-step documentations available on the internet on Pricing Configuration and Account assignment. Hope this helps.
    Thanks

  • Defference b/w Bill and Invoice?

What is the difference b/w Bill and Invoice?

Billing is sap internal reference number which is maintained in VF01 and tables
    VBRK VBRP gets updated .
Billing in terms means that i have a reference with so and so details that this is the amount charged to the customer for the purchase .
But when i produce this document in paper-work then it is called INVOICE
which is handed over to the customer and the paper work is a legal document that holds details of price and etc...
This is the difference between Billing and invoice.
There will be terms called as INVOICE , First commercial invoice and second commercial invoice but never they can be called as First Billing and second Billing etc.
I hope u got the point.
    reward points

  • I updated my payment option details for app store and was charged with Rs. 60 twice. why did that happen?

i changed my app store from canada to india and for that i'd to update my payment option details for app store and was charged with Rs. 60 twice. once the day i added the card details. and then another one 3 days later. why did that happen?
i read soemwhere that it automatically gets credited back within 3-5 working days.
waited for more than 7 days but no credit was given back.
m feeling bad that i got charged without making any purchase.

Each time that you add or change the card details on your account (and possibly also if you change your name and address, as the card needs to be registered to the same name and address as on your iTunes account) you will be charged a temporary store holding charge to check that the card details are valid and that the card is active, but it should disappear within a few days or so (the amount of time that it takes will vary by card issuer) : store holding charge.
Give it a few more days, and if it still hasn't disappeared then try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

No.  In accordance with the Customer Agreement, any funds on your prepaid account will not be refunded if you cancel.

CAN I TAKE MY WIRELESS PHONE NUMBER TO ANOTHER CARRIER?
You may be able to take, or "port", your wireless phone number to another carrier.  If you port a number from us, we'll treat it as though you asked us to cancel your Service for that number.  After the porting is completed, you won't be able to use our service for that number, but you'll remain responsible for all fees and charges through the end of that billing cycle, just like any other cancellation. If you're a Prepaid customer, you won't be entitled to a refund of any balance on your account.
