Bol Object for Catagorization Levels in Interaction record

I need to create an Interaction record programatically and store some fixed value in the Catagorization Levels. I want to do this by BOL programming. Can sone one help which BOL object to use and how

I just defined the entry of my in crmv_obj_btil to create the dynamic query BOL object. do i need to do any other thing also to make it work?

    First of thanks for your reply, and coming to my requirement, I need to report the list of items which are there in the dynamic select statement what am getting from the DB. The select statement number of columns may vary in my example for different countries the select item columns count is different. For US its '15', for UK it may be 10 ...like so, and some of the column value might be a combination or calculation part of other table columns (The select query contains more than one table in the from clause).
    In order to execute the dynamic select statement and return the result i choose to write a function which will parse the cursor for dynamic query and then iterate the values and construct a Type Object and append it to the pipe row.
    Am relatively very new for these sort of things, welcome in case of any suggestions to make it simple (Instead of the function what i thought to work with) also a sample narrating the new procedure will be appreciated.

    I have a field in the UI needs to be mapped to a field of a particular table in the back-end. How can I determine which BOL object I should use. Also, what if the field is not standard.

    hi Dave,
    If you want to find the BOL object for a particular field, follow the steps below:-
    1 Press F2 on the field and note down Component / View / Context ndoe
    2 Open the Component / View in BSP_WD_CMPWB
    3 Goto the Context node class (...._CN01, _CN02, _CNXX)
    4 Goto the attributes tab and check the value of attribute - BASE_ENTITY_NAME
       This is the name of the BOL entity
    (In the above step, if you dont find the attribute, then navigate to its super class. You will find it there)
    If you want to find the structure for the BOL entity, then Open the same in  GENIL_MODEL_BROWSER.

    Is there an authorization object for item categories for business transactions.
    Actually our need is that partners at item level should edit the documents. Authorization objects CRM_ORD_OP and CRM_ORD_PR are not success this need.

    I think there is even no logging if someone makes any changes to those fields.

  • How to see results for surveys in CIC Interaction record under script prfl?

    Dear Experts,
    In Interaction Record>Under Script tab> I have filled a survey-> upon entering all answers and saving->System showing a message, that survey has been sucessfully saved.
    But I dont know where these surveys are getting stored. and I could not find the created survey or results next time when I opened the same Interaction record.
    Kindly tell me where can we find the survey results, which is created under Script tab in Interaction Record.

    I suppose its not about interest but a MUST.. sorry but.. unless u include the Logic in the program how can SAP pick these custom Z objects ?
    after u create them and assign to a Tcode in SU24 there is no logic to check these objects. Frankly i see no other chance.... unless SAP comes to us with a great easy way to input these Custom objects
    Keep looking and please Update me if u have any Inputs....on this front..

  • Interaction record supress

    Hi,
    I am trying to implement the BADI CRM_IC_IARECORD for suppressing creation of interaction records.The interaction record should get generated only when the user clicks on the interaction record work center.
    I passed RV_SUPPRESS_IREC as true but then it suppressed the IR generation for even the interaction record work center.
    What should be done in such a scenario?
    Also in the BAdi when I pass RV_SUPPRESS_IREC as true and then return to service ticket i am getting a message 'Transaction Cancelled' and all fields are getting disabled.

    Can the creation of an interaction record be avoided?
    There is a BADI available to suppress the creation of the interaction record: CRM_IC_IARECORD
    With this BADI it is possible to suppress the creation of the interaction record based on for example the interaction source (Inbox, Call List, ...). There is a sample implementation in the system that suppresses the creation of the interaction record for email interactions started from the inbox.
    Be aware that without an interaction record the content of the activity clipboard cannot be linked when the interaction is ended.
    When creating a dependent business transaction this BADI should not be used to suppress the creation of the interaction record as the interaction record is necessary for the creation of dependent business transactions. If this BADI would be used to suppress the interaction record, then the creation of a dependent business transaction will fail. - This could explain why your ticket creation is failing.

    My question was answered by Experts.
    1.I tried with the code to retirve GUID,HEADER/ITEM Guid's related to the BPnumber from CRMF_ORDER_INDEX table.
    2.I have stored header/item GUID's in different internal tables and append all the values that fetched above with in the loop.
    3. Clear header/item guid's,that they can have next value in the loop.(Important)
    4.Next step call the FM CRM_ORDER_READ with in the loop and assign import/export parameters.
    4.Display the records.

    For maintaining CRMC_OBJECTS table you should use view CRMV_OBJECTS. (in transaction SM30).

  • Interaction Record and Multi Level Categorization

    Hello Forum,
    I would like to know if any one has implemented Multi level categorization for Interaction record in SAP CRM Web IC 7.0.
    If so how did you acheive this.
    I have done the following
    -     Create Catalogs, Codes and Code groups
    -     Create Subject profile
    -     Create Categorization schema with default subject profile.
    I could not assign Subject Profile to Transaction Type and also in the only default Subject Profile  is displayed .
    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I tried to create customized catalog with Category "F" which is Activity -Reason and the system did not allow me.
    So i used A1 (SAP delivered)  which has category "F" and used it  to assign Code Group Profile and Code Groups.
    I created Subject Profile with Subject Category "F" and assigned the Code Group Profile.
    I have not usedc the Transaction for assigning subject profile and Status to Transaction Type as i do not need it.
    There is not provision to directly assign subj profile to Transaction type as like service request.
    I went through the route of assigning Subj profile to Transaction Type header and another place of assigning them in the category schema.
    This is where i do not see the Customized subject profile which i have created.
    Can you tell me where exactly i can Determine of categorization schema based on transaction type/catalog category combination.

  • Multi Level Categorization in Interaction Record

    Hello Gurus!
    We are implementing CRM 7.0 and setting up multi level categorization for interaction records and service ticket. I have managed to set up all the required config and the categorization schema in Web IC. It is working in service ticket. However, for interaction record in web IC, the problem is that in the Categorization Tab, there are no fields showing up. I tried adding the fields but there seems to be none similar to service ticket where the fields for Level 1, Level 2, etc... can be seen.
    Have you got any idea on how to make the Level fields show up in the interaction records so we can test the multi level categorization for IR?

    I have gone into IC manager role and used categorization schema and i cannot see my customized Catalog for Business activity.
    I have checked Category of the catalog which i have manually created and it is "Activity-reason" .
    I have tried using the default catalog and added my Codes into it and created Scema but i do not see the categorization in Web IC and more over the Subject feild is in active. I have added the code groups and code feilds and they are displaying a error message.

    I need to retrieve the notes for the Interaction records saved on Web UI at Buss Agreement level (Cont Acc).
    Currently i am able to get this from CRM_ORDER_INDEX table for BP level.
    Are there any  table's, FM's or... holding these IR's for Contract Accout level ?
    Can some one suggest me ?

    Thanks for your suggestion.... but I don't follow unfortunately. I have had a look at your suggestion, but this is over my head.
    I guess my other option is just to write some logic into the view, however this would double the size of my statement and make it a little inefficient.. .

  • How to convert an array collection instance to a complex object for interaction with webservice

    Hi there,
    I have a stubborn problem that I am trying to work out the best way to solve the problem.  I am interacting with a WebService via HTTPService calling a method called find(String name) and this returns me a List of ComplexObjects that contain general string and int params and also lists of other Complex Objects.  Now using the code:
    ArrayCollection newOriginalResultsArray = new ArrayCollection(event.result as Array)
    flex converts my complex objects results to an arraycollection so that I can use it in datagrids etc.  Now up until this part is all good.  My problem is when getting a single instance from the results list, updating it by moving data around in a new datagrid for example - I want to interact with the webservice again to do an create/update.  This is where I am having problems - because these webservice methods require the complex object as a parameter - I am struggling to understand how I can convert the array collection instance back to my complex object without iterating over it and casting it back (maybe this is the only way - but I am hoping not).
    I am hoping that there is a simple solution that I am missing and that there is some smart cookie out there that could provide me with an answer - or at least somewhere to start looking. I guess if I have no other alternative - maybe I need to get the people who built the service to change it to accept an array - and let them do the conversion.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    According to my knowledge you can use describeType(Object) method which will return an XML... That XML will contain Properties and values just iterate through the XML and create a new Object..   Probably u can use this method...

  • Webclient Interaction record for R/3 sales order

    we need to capture the interaction record for each and every call related to order. we don't want to use the webclient or pcui sales order becuase of their limitations... we want all the feature of R/3 sales order like extended material search, purchase order type.... kind of fields and search help on them.
    so what is the best way to approach if we want the order to be created in R/3 and capture the interaction record? would a regular BOR call from webclient for R/3 Sales Order would do it?

    I would suggest we still use the Interaction Record Functionality in IC Web . So thi is what I am suggesting :
    1.  Customer calls in for placing a Order
    2. CSR receives the call ( CTI  ) and Confirms the Account . Once Clicked on Confirm , you can auto navigate to Interaction Record View
    3. CSR can capture whatever details , INtereaction Record Specific ( Like IR Type -> Order etc )  ,  and Save to create the IR .
    4. Once Saved , You can dynamically make available , Button or Navigational Link 'Create Order' ( Will Only appear if IR Type is 'Order' etc )  . 
    Now Clickin on Create Order , you have different options
    i) Launch into ECC ( VA01 ) using Transaction launcher to Create the Order
    ii) If you are on CRM 5.0 , make use of the new CRM Sales Order Creation ( This Basically provides a very Intuitive BSP View , however the Orders are getting created in ECC Itself , No Replication required )
