BOM Delivery Question

Hello! I have researching a support ticket regarding a BOM Sales Order and I am still learning about this part of the system. The issue or question I am researching is that a sales order was created with a BOM and the components had the same delivery group. The person was able to create a delivery for one of the items and do a Post Goods Issue. The person who has posed this question thought that the items had to be delivered together since they belong to the same delivery group. Is this correct? I have done several searches and am unable to find an answer.
Thanks!

Don't need the answer to this anymore.

  • Error:  Sales BOM / delivery document creation via DI API

Running into an error from SAP when trying to post a Delivery Note document object via the DI API.
-5002 -You cannot add a document with a bill of materials that does not include all components
I have a Sales BOM on a Sales Order.  All components have been included within the Delivery Note object.  When calling the document Add() function, SAP is pushing back with the error above.
Does the fact that the components of the Sales BOM are also BOMs themselves make a difference in whether the DI API fails or succeeds in posting the Delivery Note?

Does the fact that the components of the Sales BOM are also BOMs themselves make a difference ?
I believe the answer is YES.
    Thanks,

  • Sales BOM - Delivery Quantity check during post goods issue

I am working on a problem in my company.  We are running ECC6.0 ehp 4.  We are using standard ERLA functionality with sales bom (5) for product kits.  Delivery manager has requested that we investigate a system check during delivery post goods issue.  THe problem is that when shipper processes delivery, if they have to backorder they update pick and delivery quanity on the TAE item.  They should also update TAQ delivery quantity, so that backorder amount is correct.  If they make data entry error, backorder quantity is incorrect.  The delivery manager has tried a number of attempts to re-train and correct mistakes.  He is now asking that SAP issue a hard error if TAQ and TAE delivery item quantities are not the same.
I have searched on SAP Notes, Forms, and Google and do not see solution.  I know that at delviery item category there is a minimum qty check for the item category.  I've not found a user exit or configuration point that checks quanities.  Does anyone know of out of the box solution?  Or where would I put in custom user exit?
    Test Case
    Create Standard Order
    Enter Material with Sales BOM
    ITEM A     Qty 10
    BOM explodes with Item categories
    ITEM A     TAQ parent
    ITEM B     TAE child
    Create Delivery
Delivery has item categories TAQ and TAE
TAE is pickable, TAQ no pick
    Process TAE
         Pick quantity of 5 items
Change delivery quantity to 5 items
Forget to change TAQ delivery quantity
         Pack 5 items
    Post Goods Issue the delivery.
Is there are requirement/routine than can be run at time of PGI that checks TAQ delivery quantity is the same as TAE delivery quantity.  If quanities are not the same, show hard error and message do not allow PGI to complete.
    Thank you
    Tony Romain

I tried setting that field in the sale order this morning.  By defaulting it to "C"; I was able to get warning message for TAE line.  I was able to post goods with TAE and TAQ, being different quantities.  I need the check to determine if TAE and TAQ delivery quantity are different.  Using this fields seems to be line specific.  Thanks for the suggestion.  I now know what that field does to the delivery.
    I rewarded points.
    Thanks,
    Tony

  • Message Queuing and Once Only Delivery Question

Okay... not looking for too detailed information as you'll lose me.  Was hoping someone could clear something up for me.  In the Websphere world Websphere uses MQ as it's queuing mechanism internally to guarantee once-only delivery of messages.  Now I know XI can integrate with MQ (or other messaging systems, JMS,etc...)but certainly XI guarantees once-only delivery without any of those components.  My question is is XI's "queuing" mechanism proprietary or can, for instance, an external system somehow "put" or "get" information to/from that "queue"?

    Shaun,
As far as my knowledge goes, I don't think external system can use the queuing mechanism of XI.

  • Delivery question on audio...

We are delivering a digibeta of a spot we just created, I just got an email in regards of the delivery. "Please have them delievered to ** on digibeta tape with a beauty and mattes, and any effets should be on split audio tracks." What i dont' really understand is the 'any effects should be on split audio tracks.' Does anyone know what they mean by this. And have any advice on delivery? Thanks in advance.
    Rhyno

    Hello there...
your audio will have to be mixed down and exported as an AIFF, then re-imported, with what's called an M & E (music and effects) on one audio track and VO (voice over) on the other.
The term 'effects' really applies to any sync sound/ambient sound that is in your production, that accompanies what is viewed on the screen.
The delivery requirments do vary depending on the final destination ie-broadcast, corporate etc, so before i start telling you every detail of how i prep my audio for master tapes, perhaps you could give some more info.

  • Iphone delivery question

I preordered my iphone 3GS last week (Monday) on apple.com and am wondering why I did not get it Friday or yesterday? I was home all day Friday so I know I didn't miss the delivery.

If you have not received an email advising your phone has been shipped, you can go to the Apple Store by clicking the "Store" button at the top of this page. Then click the account button left of the shopping cart and check your order status. If it has been shipped, there will be a carrier tracking number you can use to see where it is.

  • BOM-Delivery(Main item-Sub item)

    Hi,
    Issue is:
Availability check in Sales Order is missed and delivery has been done only for main item without showing any errors.
No reduction in stock of finish goods.
No Error message in delivery and in billing.
Only mainitem is flowing in documents and no subitems in the document.Even in confirmed order qty is shown for the main item only.
    How to restrict this.
    Friends kindly help.
    Regards

    Hi
We have maintained the availabilty check for all materials and also checked in CS03 we have maintained L in item category.
The problem is that stock is not getting reduced because the subitems are not flowing in the doc and the mainitem is not getting restricted from delivery and billing even when there is no confirmation for subitems. But mainitem is getting confirmed.
    Kindly help

  • UCCX 8.5 same skill delivery question

Hi all, I've a question about how a call is delivered when agents in ready state have same skill level in the same CSQ.
In my CSQ I have 4 agent with skill 9, 2 with 7 and 1 with 5. How can I set the algoritm used for the first 4 agent?
Now calls is delivered to the first agent, maybe the best is longest time idle to balancing the work on the call center.
    Enrico.

    Enrico,
It depends on what algorithm you are using on the CSQ definition as you have few to pick from. For example if you are using Most Skilled then the first call will be offered to agent with skill competency of 9, etc.  If you are using Longest Idle then the competency is irrelevant and call will be delivered to an agent that has been IDLE the longest. There are some other ones as well. If you are using Most Skilled and 2 agents have the same skill competency then longest idle is used between those agents.
    HTH,
    Chris

  • Pre-ordered new Ipad delivery question

Ive pre-ordered the new IPad will it arrive at my house on the 16th or is it being dispatched on that day?

You'll find the same thing with movie releases or if you'd ordered one of the Harry Potter books....the originator dispatches them, the delivery service gets them close and then manages their staffing to deliver them all on the day of release.
One other thing, and I've never gotten a delivery from Apple of this magnitude, but when I got my netbook and laptop delivered i had to sign for it, in person, so you may want to look into that because some recipients may be facing a further delay if they work on the 16th and aren't home to receive the shipment, they MAY need to go to the delivery place and track it down.
It's done as a protection thing, with something this expensive if someone signs for it then it eliminates the 'it got stolen' and confirms delivery to the correct recipient.
I'm not saying this will be the case, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was.

  • Ordered 32" Sony TV - Delivery Question

Hello, I ordered a 32" Sony tv in one of your local stores, paid for it in cash at the store and I am I having it shipped to my house.  Item was not available in the store.  The clerk at the store said the delivery guy would inspect and install the TV to make sure it wasn't damaged in transit. Is this correct?
Also, what must I do, and what can I expect from the delivery guy if the item is damaged, i.e. cracked screen?
Is there a proceedure to follow?
    Thanks.
    Rick

    Hello atomicsmurf,
Congratulations on your new TV! I know how excited I get whenever new technology comes into my home. I hope you get many years of enjoyment from it!
Using the information you provided when you signed up for Best Buy Unboxed, I was able to locate your order. While what you were informed in store is true if your product is delivered by Best Buy, your TV is shipping to you via UPS, so setup of your TV ill not be provided. Should your TV arrive in unsatisfactory condition, you may return it to your local store for a return or exchange.
I hope this helps. I'm very grateful that you wrote to us.

  • Nervous - Spot Delivery Question

Good morning everyone and Happy 4th! I purchased a 2015 Toyota Prius on Friday, July 2nd from a large high-volume Toyota dealership about an hour away. Before I made the actual trip up the dealer, I communicated through multiple emails negotiating pricing until I finally received a price breakdown I liked. I drove the 50ish miles to the dealer and purchased the new car. Although I was looking over my contract and I'm now starting to feel a little nervous.  I submitted a credit application before I drove up to do the deal - this would give the dealer a full day (when banks are open) to send my information out to lenders - or so I would assume. When I went into the finance office, the F&I manager gave me all the normal loan information - interest rate, term, payment amount, etc. The lienholder on my insurance affidavit is listed as Southeast Toyota Fianance d/b/a World Omni Finance Corp. - and the finance manager even went so far as to explain that I was eligible for my finance terms through Southeast Toyota's "Conquest Program" - being that they approved me due to having a perfect 12 month payment history with my previous sub-prime auto lender on my trade-in. I even asked multiple times "The financing is approved and through Southeast Toyota, correct?" and the finance manager assured me it was.  I've looked over my retail sales contract thouroughly, and the full breakdown with my interest rate, payment, and loan term is printed on it with everything filled out as it normally would be. The new car has already been switched / registered into my name. Problem is, I had to sign a "Conditional Sale and Delivery Agreement" which states the seller has the right to cancel if financing cannot be secured within "20 Days" and I would have to return the vehicle, etc. At this time, I have received two inquiries on my credit - 1 EQ inquiry by the actual dealer when I first submitted my credit app, and another EX inquiry from CapOne yesterday. My FICO's are as follows: EX: 611, EQ: 632, TU: 647. I have perfect payment history on my previous auto loan for 14 months, a student loan for 3 years, and various credit cards. I have two CA's from 2009 due to fall off next summer.  I just don't want to fall victim to the god awful Spot Delivery or, Yo-Yo Financing scam.

You have nothing to worry about. That portion of the contract is primarily if primarily for "at-risk" consumers with bad credit. Some banks who take chances with customers with bad credit require a long list of things such as references, proof of employment, proof of recidency and much more before actually releasing the money to the dealership and their approval is based on that information, therefore if they do not receive it within a timely matter then they will pull the funding. In your case SETF is not like that so rest easy and congrats on the new vehicle.

  • IPhone 5 delivery question.

I just called AT&T to check the order status of my iPhone 5. It said "your order has been recieved and is being processed." What does this mean for my delivery time?

It really depends on when you actually ordered it.  I am an ATT&T customer & I waited up until midnight on the release date, ordered it from the Apple store and I just received shipping confirmation that it will arrive before noon tomorrow.
If you ordered from AT&T online within 1 hour of the release then your chances are great you will get it tommorrow.

  • Sales & Delivery question for a Gift!

I'd like to purchase a Macbook Air online from the Apple Store as a gift to someone living in Thailand, using my credit card.
Upon delivery, will they ask her to see the credit card? For obvious reasons this won't work for me as I will be away and not on site!

Do you also have a credit card with a billing address in Thailand?

This means that the JMS will return an application ack (instead of a system ack) when the message is processed successfully. This is useful when the sender of the messages is an IDoc.

The monitoring of IS and AE are separate. So you cannot see the error of AE in SXMB_MONI
    > How can display this error also in the sxmb_moni?
Watch the monitoring in the RWB. This offers an integrated view.
