BP Project 50.3 Display Structure iView

Hi,
I've implemented the BP for Projects 50.3, and when using the Display Structure iView, the first item (Project or WBS element) does not display the link correctly :

We are still encountering the same problem, and have logged a message with SAP. We have implemented single sign-on and increased the maximum possible jco connections, but this does not appear to have fixed it.

Hi Juan,
the view show is the employee selection - what the manager can see is restricted by their authorisations and depending on how you have configured the OADP selections used - on the root objects resolved for the manager and the selections that are used.
There are many posts on the use of OADP (Object and Data Provider) - have a search and you should find something useful.

Aperture 3 project does not display any images in one Project

This is a strange situation. The bullets below outline the situation:
The project does not display any images
When I place the pointer over the project it shows there are 500+ images
I have located the RAW images stored in my aperture library
I can pull up the images using a smart folder and searching for photos taken on the event day
This is happening only to one of my projects that I know of (weird!!)
I have tried to 're-add' the image by both importing and dragging and dropping into the project, neither works
I tried the following basics:
Fixed permissions
Rebuilt the database
Tried to re-import the data, but when I have the 'don't import duplicates' these are not an option
Found the images in my Aperture library
I created another project and drug all of the images into that project
Any idea how I can fix this?
My fear is that if I delete the original project, the original master images will be deleted.

The most common cause of this is some sort of stuff in the search box at the top of the browser that you don't expect to be there. Just clear it and all your images should show up.

One note - if you drug your images from one project to another it moves them vs copies them unless you hold down the option key.

How can i display my iviews in anonymous page

I have created some iviews and I have created a role for all these i views and assigned this role to anonymous user group.
when i access the anonymous page,i get the info"contents not exsits or not enabled",well how can i display my iviews in anonymous page

Journal Project can't display slideshow

Hi,
For that old version iphoto, i can create my journal project and play the slideshow in "Dateline" mode. This mode will display what i added in the journal like note, header, memory and food note.
For new version iphoto, inside my journal Project not have any option to play my slideshow.
So I need go to Project -> select "+" -> select slideshow -> select Project tab in the bar -> choose my journal project. I find that it cannot play all my journal file by one click and it need manually select all my picture. So later my note that i added in my journal project will not display it. Please advise.

You can toggle presenter display on/off in Keynote's Preferences.
When you have the projector hooked up, you will also need to go into System Preferences -> Displays and turn on mirroring.

Create Page that programmatically displays an iview

I'm trying to design a page that will contain to iViews. One would have an announcement text at the top of the page and the other would be a related iView. I would like the announcement header to only display if there's content to be loaded. I've thought of two methods of this.
One would be to create a JSPDyn page that loads both iviews and partner that with some Javascript that hides the top if there's no relevant content. However, I can't seem to find any examples of JSPDyn pages loading other iViews. Where would I look for examples on this?
The other method would be using a property of the iView API called
pageSupport.ivuRemove that appears to do what I want, but again, I haven't found any example code on how to use this.
If anyone has any ideas, example code, or even a better method for optionally displaying an iView, please let me know. I'll be sure to award points for answers that lead me on the right track.

My requirement is somewhat similar. I have a JSPDynpage application which gets data from the KM.
If no data is available the iView should be hidden. The iView should be visible again only when there is relevant data available in the KM for the iView.
I tried using the above code that you provided. However i am not able to figure out why the doOnNodeReady() is not getting called.

If i set the TextValue iView property value to X then the iView should be hidden else shown.
If i place a response .write() statement in the doOnNodeReady(), the response doesn't print.

Image Folder in Project Manger not displaying Images

Not much on this in RoboHelp's help.
The Image Folder in my Project Manger is empty, even though I
have at least 100 images. I just realized that as I was adding
images they should have been displaying in the Project Manager's
Image Folder (if I interpret it correctly). It has reproduced the
file folder structure of my HTML folder. There is no actual Image
folder on my drive. Is this supposed be similar in concept to the
Library feature in other Adobe products? How do I get images into
the folder?

You have produced an unused images report and there is
nothing that is unused correct?
Go to your topics and locate an image that is in the topic
but that you cannot locate under the image folder. Double click the
image and you will be able to find where it is located. Post back
with the path.
Also run the Images Report. Does that show the images that
are in the root of the project?
If necessary I can remote to your machine via an Adobe
provided link to see what is going on. There will be a chat panel
or you can phone me (UK based). Before I can do anything on your
PC, I have to request control and you can suspend that instantly at
any time. We can do that next week if we cannot resolve this any
other way.

Displaying Search iview results in a new window

Hi,
I am using a basicsearch iview to search a folder. Now, when I do a search I want the results to open in a new window. I was going over some questions in the SDN Forum and for the option "Launch in New Window", I did select Display in Seperate Window. Still, the results are not showing up in a new window. Is there anything else which needs to be done? I did create the component and options set. Does the Layout Set for Search Results play any role here? I am not very familiar with it and hence I have not done any configurations for it. Can anyone please point me in the right direction? Thanks for your valuable time and effort.

The content in our implementation (project) is not transported yet, so I don't know if any problems will arise. But I just found a document which descripes a transport procedure. Help with Game Display structure and adding independant objects

I'd like to do two things and I'm not sure how to set up the code.
1) Add 1 to n enemies that think and move on their own. Basically their own threaded life I think.
2) Add 1 to n weapons fire that when the thread is finished apply the damage.
Currently I'm only using Graphics2d to draw everything to an off screen image. The issue I have is that most of the individual object stuff is wrapped up in the main game loop rather than added to the object itself.
Here is my current working pseudo code: I have this working but seems like I need to make it more flexible. Just not sure how.

}It seems like I should just spawn an enemy thread that checks its own ranges and does its own movements. But I'm not sure how to get that to display the offscreen image. Can an arraylist hold a thread?
Likewise, with the weapons fire.... it should be self contained to check hit, display itself, display explosion or hit, then apply damage to its target when animation is completed. These two seem like a similar code structure I'm just not sure how to set it up yet.
Any psuedocode would be helpful.

Ship Class is its own thread that can paint itself. Basically it is a sitting ship.
DisplayPane is the image painting class.
loopGame tells the objects when to paint and passes the image reference around.

Page w/3 Iviews will not display all iviews thru Portal Role?

Hello All,
I am having a problem with getting 2 of 3 iviews to display through my portal role(s). 1 of the iviews is a copy (generated thru the wizard with same properties) of the SAP Bank information iview and the other 2 I created in the KM content (1 is an image and the other is html). If I preview the page, I see all 3 of my iviews with no problem.
Just a little history, I created a new area page called payments which I tied Bank Information and w-4 to via config in the back end. I z copied all my resources and tied the correct PCD to them.
It almost seems that it is still calling the SAP delivered Bank information? But, I checked all my config and nothing that is configured is pointing to there iview/page?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for getting back to me so quickly on this. I did create a z copy of the bank information service and called it z_employee_bank_us_serv05. I created the iview with application name 'per_bank_us' and as for the 'Application Parameters', I did not fill anything in which leads me to my next question.
I know when I create a new area, that I need to fill in the application parameters of the path to the 'Area group pages'
(Example: sap.xss.menuarea=Z_EMPLOYEE_BENEFITPAY_ERP2005&sap.xss.menuargrp=Z_SAPDEFAULTESS_ERP2005&sap.xss.menuhdr=SAPDEFAULT),
What would the verbage that would need to be added to the application parameters for this just to point to the service?

Enable AppXRay on a legacy project with unconventional directory structure

I've got a legacy project. My first need is to do remote debugging of JSPs (application will be deployed on an app. server on a remote server).
I imported the existing project into Eclipse/Workshop Studio. When I try to enable AppXRay it popups a Folder Mappings dialog and asks for a folder in the project that corresponds to the '/' URI.
Here's what my directory structure looks like:
project/
--conf/
----web.xml
--htdocs/
----index.jsp
There is no WEB-INF/web.xml in the directory structure. The .war gets built by the Ant war command and just includes the web.xml from the conf/ dir.
If I choose the conf/ dir or the htdocs/ dir I get a warning that information related to web.xml will be missing fron AppXRay.
How do I get Workshop Studio to work in this situation?
As part of the Ant build I can add directories to the existing structure that mimic the structure of the .war that gets deployed if that will make Workshop Studio happy, but I cannot modify the existing directory structure significantly.

The WFM feature was implemented to support the project structure similar to yours.
Try the following steps to configure the project in Studio:
- The folder mapping for your project would be
project/htdocs => "/"
project/conf => "/WEB-INF"The "/" mapping will be your WebAppFolder (the folder containing web artifacts, like jsps, html...) and "/WEB-INF" would be the web configuration (containing web.xml and/or struts/jsf ... configuration filer).

"The macros in the project are disabled" displayed _after_ PDF is generated

I have Acrobat Pro 8.1 installed on XP 64-bit, previously on XP 32-bit.
When I I generate a PDF in Microsoft Word (using the Acrobat --> Create PDF option) I get the following dialog box
"The macros in the project are disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host application determine how to enable macros"
This message is only displayed immediately after I generate a PDF. Macros work fine otherwise and this message is never displayed otherwise. I have tried setting all macro-related security to low, as detailed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290949 and other places, but this message is still displayed.

Did you try to create PDF from Microsoft Word by opening Word file in Adobe Acrobat. Try it may works for you. Let me share how to convert MS Word document to PDF by using Adobe Acrobat. Simple run Adobe Acrobat click "open", now select MS Word document which you want to convert to PDF and click open. It will automatically convert MS Word Document to PDF file format.

Robohelp 8: Child Project topics not displaying in the topic pane

Hi All:
I am working on a Robohelp 8 merged help with four child projects. The child project I added last (which appears as Child 2 on the ToC) displays fine in the ToC pane. However, none of the Child 2 topics display in the Topics pane.
When I investigated, I found that Child 2 had a few broken links. I fixed them but this has made no difference.
I have cleared the MergedHelp folder and recompiled a few times, but w/o any change. Child 1, 3 and 4 topics display in the topics pane, but not Child 2 topics.
Would appreciate any pointers.

Try deleting the child from the TOC and readding it. If that does not work, can you post an image of what you are seeing. You can do so via the camera toolbar icon.

Portal favorites not displaying the iview.

Hi Team,
We have a home role with a welcome page which is the first role to be displayed to every user logged in to portal.
Now we have enabled the option "Add to Portal favorites" to the portal objects. So when a report (BI / Bo report) is added to the portal favorites we are able to see the report added to the portal favorites iview. But when we try to access the report directly from portal favorites the link is navigating to the exact report path but not displaying the report instead it is displaying the welcome page of the HOME role.
When i try to add Identity management iview of the User admin to the portal favorites and try to aceess it from Portal favorites iview, it navigates to the identity management page but the welcome page is displayed instead of the identity management iview.
Can you please let me know a fix for this.

IBM Rational Team Concert Project Plans not displaying correctly on Firefox 7

Rational Team Concert (RTC) is a project management tool from IBM. Since installing Firefox V7.0 on 9/27/11, several columns of data are completely or partially displaying blank. If I go back to Internet Explorer the data appears properly (but IE is too slow to use). Also my peers who are still using Firefox 6.0.2 are not having any problems. I have restarted Firefox 7 without add-ons and also restarted with a new profile as suggested in V7.0 troubleshooting tips but have the same results
RTC is licensed from IBM but runs on a local server.

I think RTC only officially supports Firefox 3.6, but I may have found the wrong system requirements page... here are some random thoughts.

Do you know whether RTC uses anything other than ordinary HTML/CSS/JavaScript to construct pages, such as a Java applet or an add-on? You can check for any blocked add-ons here:

On the left click Extensions, then scroll through the active ones down to any grayed-out ones.

Are the blank columns usually filled in dynamically after the page loads (i.e., using AJAX techniques)?
You could check for script errors. These don't usually allow you to solve the problem for yourself, but might give rise to some ideas for workarounds.
To open Firefox's error console, press Ctrl+Shift+j and click the Clear button. Then reload the page and check for errors (you can use the Error button to filter out all the other noise, such as style warnings). Anything notable?

To see whether this problem is caused by the HTML5 parser, you can turn that off. Please save any unfinished work first.
(i) In a new tab, type or paste '''about:config''' in the address bar and press Enter. Click the button promising to be careful.
(ii) In the filter box, type or paste '''html5''' and pause while the list is filtered
(iii) Double-click '''html5.parser.enable''' to toggle it to false (it should turn bold).
Then return to the problem page and reload. Does that make any difference?
