BP Salesperson Update

Hi All
I'm trying to update the Salesperson on the Business Partner record using the DI-API version 2004A patch36. The code runs with no error but when I look at the Business Partner record the salesperson code is not changed. Can anyone help me with this issue?
Thank You
Stephen Sjostrom

Hi Stephan
Is the BP on hold? I've found that when BP is on hold no updates can be done on journals or other marketing documents. Have you checked for errors with ocompany.getlasterror()
Hope this helps

  • Updating Salespersons in Multi-Org Environment

Has anyone devised an easy way to update salespersons in a Multi-Org Environment? The application requires you to update the salesperson at the address site level and frequent changes in personnel can force massive amounts of data entry time.
    Any ideas?

  • HT1557 10.9.2 update won't update on my imac 2010 at all, and now my computer won't shutdown or restart without a hard boot.  Did anyone have this same problem and figure out how to fix it?

So for the past few weeks I've been trying to update the 10.9.2 update on my imac (2010 - 21.5 inch) and when I attempt to try to update the software my screen goes grey with a Software Updater top bar the shows up on the top of the grey screen and then just quits doing anything (except the screen saver which works after nothing else happens - and that shows you how long I've been waiting for the grey screen to magically do something.  I've attempted downloading the software update then installing it but the same thing happens.  I don't think any of my 3rd party software is the cause of this and i'd rather not uninstall the programs since the update won't even do anything.  Utility is telling me nothing but the usual ARD element unable to be modified.
With the several failed attempts at installing this update (probably around 15x) my computer will not shutdown nor restart on command anymore.  The only way I can shut it down is holding the power button.
I used to have so much faith in Apple products and used to be a devoted user, but since Jobs passed away the direction of Apple has gone down the toilet.

Well Bababooey if you're comparing yourself to a Apple Genius Bar then you should already know my answer, your snarky remark get a snarky reply.  Why would I go to a salesperson to fix my computer problem when I can go directly go to the source itself.  I used to sell Apple computers over 8 years ago and was apple certified before the Genius bar existed. If I am to go about fixing an issue I can't fix on my own I will go to the source itself meaning Apple's programmers and developers - being UI UX Developer myself I know they should have QA'd all platforms and troubleshooted any arising issues.
This was also the first time in the 20 years I've been using a Mac that I even attempted to go on this forum which i thought would put me in connection with a certified Apple representative.  This turned out to be a complete waste of time just being a public forum with no Apple employee involved.  I was hoping to find a quick fix but in turn I was only frustrated with stupid responses such as yours that were in no way an answer to my original question.
BTW I fixed the issue on my own and without your help or Apples help. I'm glad if all forums point here regarding this issue because I now have the answer. The answer I was looking for from someone earlier was as simple as this {Download Maverick and reinstall the platform - it will take an hour to do but afterward 10.9.2 was installed and my computer is now able to shutdown and restart without having to do a hard boot.}  No more software update bar at top and no problems with my drive which I told both you and Grant - I know my computer better than you and I've probably been using them longer than you.
So again Babowa you were so wrong...... and I am right.
Again anyone having the same problem, I suggest reinstalling Maverick and you'll be suprised 10.9.2 will work fine.

  • API for Updating fileds in cn_payment_transactions_all table(OIC module)

    Hi,
I have a requirement to put the Sales Commission Lines (Oracle Incentive Compensation module) on hold for a particular Salesperson if the corresponding invoice line has an amount due not equal to zero.
Now to put the commission lines on hold I need to update the hold_flag of the cn_payment_transactions_all table.
I need help to find the API which I can use to update the hold_flag.I searched metalink on the same but did not find anything suitable.
Please advice which API I should use or any reference where I can find any suitable documents on that. Can i update the hold_flag directly in case i do not find any API to update this flag.
    Thanks in advance......
    Regards

    Hi Subhabrata,
I am not sure if there is any standard API to do this update.
Looks like you have requirement to pay the commission only when the invoice is fully paid.
Customizing like this is not the best option. There are outbox ways to design the collection/plan so that you pay commission when the invoice is paid.

  • How do i get a software update for iphone 3g from 4.1 to 5.1

How do I update my iphone 3g from the version 4.1 to 5.1 from my phone?

I am so sorry to say " some lady".
But we were hoping with this being my first phone , (but a handme down), that we could do what the AT&T salesperson said to do , and that was save all my information then wipe out the phone and download the new 5.1 software to my (it is confirmed ) 3G phone which currently has 4.1 on it and is  not permitting me to download the new itunes to my phone.
Again,  you CANNOT get ios 5 at all. Cannot do it.  No ios 5.
What information do you want to save?
Your iphone can ONLY go to 4.2.1.  NOT 5.1.  Again.  NO ios 5.1.  ONLY 4.2.1

  • Need report to show # of opportunities updated vs. number created

I'd like to show for each rep by day
    Date Repname #opened #updated
I'm not sure how to do this based on the #of opportunities metric

Unfortunately we are still on R17. But I checked on another instance and see the feature you are talking about. However, i don't think this will be enough for what I need to do. The scenario is that the salesperson is being assigned X# of opportunities per day. So to clarify the numbers I'm looking for is # assigned vs. # updated (per day or within a selected date range). I think the best I'll be able to do is
    # updated based on the modified date on the opportunity record itself, but the performance is terrible not sure, could be my other rollup fields. If you have any other advice that would be great.

  • After the update, Firefox is a mess on my computer: Won't print, often seizes on opening a window or trying to print. None of which happened before the update. This is the most dysfunctional update yet, on my computer anyway.

Nothing to add. I'm waiting for a new update to address the problems of this one--which has happened periodically in the past. The "educated guesses" below are incomprehensible.

  • Since the latest apple update, voice navigation has gone away.  Tried the Airplane mode fix, which worked, but now my bluetooth won't work in my vehicle.  What's up?

  • Is the BB salesperson lying to me or simply ignora

Ok. A few days ago, I am shopping at the local BB for a new flash player for my wife. She has a Napster-to-Go membership and likes the idea of renting. I ask the salesperson if the GB Zen Nano Plus is subscription compatible. He assures me that it is... saying "anything with the plays for sure" logo will work with the services. I press him explaining the distinction between downloading and renting... for instance, the distinction between Napster and Napster-to-Go. He says it doesn't matter, and points to their little spec card which claims the ZNP *is* compatible with NTG. He even pulls out a fancy, official-looking plays-for-sure booklet which presents the features and some specs of a dozen or so players. The pages in the booklet for the ZNP and the ZN both have the PFS logo with both download and subscription ticked.
Needless to say, this contradicts everything I have read in this and other forums and on other sites including Napster and Yahoo's compatible player pages... as well as the PFS site where you can search subscription compatible players. I explain this point to the salesperson. His theory is that the pages I have seen just haven't been updated recently, and that his info is correct. I asked him if he's personally used or tested the ZNP/ZN with a sub service. "Nope."
I was hoping to get a concrete answer on this. All the info he has seemed official enough, but I don't necessarily trust it since it *does* contradict everything else I have read. I think my wife would really like the ZNP, but her main criteria is the sub service compatibility.
To make a long story short (too late) is the ZNP sub service compatible or not? If not, why the heck would BB claim it is?
    Thanks

    It's not.

Personally I've never been to Best Buy (I don't li've in the USA) but this is certainly not the first time one of their salesmen has been wrong.
There are, as you mention, two forms of PlayForSure. Standard licensed WMA which CAN be used on the Zen Nano, and subscription downloads which can't.

  • Galaxy S3 OTA manual update error

I am getting an error when i try to do a manual OTA update.
    Service unavailable
To check for a system updates, go to Settings > About device when service is available.
    Any help on this?

Go to your local Verizon store and report this.
I made two trips. On the first we were told the update would be OTA, and that the manual update would not work until my wife received an email notification that it was available. I knew this to be untrue because I had already manually updated my phone, and I never received an email (I still haven't). If she did not receive the update within 10 days of the email we were to go back to the store.  She received the email a couple of days later, and after 12 days there was no automatic update, and several manual attempts to update resulted in the same error, so we went back to the store.
On the second trip the salesperson at the store spoke with support and explained the whole situation, at which time they decided to send my wife a new phone. The new phone arrived 2 days later, and she switched her SIM over and received the update immediately. There was never an indication from support as to what the problem was, but the new phone seems to have resolved it.
I came to the forum for answers and got none. I clearly stated that I had already rebooted the phone several times to no avail, as well as having done a factory data reset. And yet, people posted that we should reboot our phones because they failed to read and comprehend. A forum is a place for discussion and (hopefully) answers, but that becomes all but impossible when people respond with ignorant replies that tell you to do what you've already done. Just an FYI, if you are one of these guilty parties, you're defeating the purpose of this forum and making the lives of others harder.

  • ICS Update; Seeking Answers

One of the reasons I purchased this phone was the statement that the ICS 4.0 update would be made available to the phone. Using the most vague of terms, "early 2012" has now technically come and gone and we have no official word on an update. That is 6 months. It is also unreasonable. It appears to indicate little desire on the part of Verizon to do anything about it. No solid, official piece of information has been released that gives any indication of when we can expect the update to be pushed. Tech websites, 3rd party vendors, and customers play the game of "a customer rep said this", "an HTC rep said that", and "a salesperson at a Verizon store said something else". Verizon needs to rectify this transgression and provide answers as well as push an update. Others have said it in lesser civil tones and with good reason. Many Rezound owners are upset, disappointed, and feel lied to; myself included.

OK, here we go again.  Just FYI, there is already a thread or two about this, but I'll see if I can explain this process... again.
First off, I am not, never have been, and, unless some amazing opportunity comes up, never will be an employee of Verizon, HTC, or Google, despite accusations to the contrary.  Second, you may want to have a look at this: http://www.htc.com/www/help/android4faq/?cid=android4blog.  Third, update release dates are NEVER set in stone until the day it starts pushing to customer's phones.  And fourth, this thread, if it follows others of it's kind, will quickly degrade to talks of lawsuits, legality, bloatware, and how Apple is so much better at updates (for the record, not true, they don't give a date until it's ready either, and typically, don't even announce it until then).  Oh yeah, and I want the update just as much as anybody else.
Now, the reason the "time frame" was given, as you put it, in the most vague of terms, is because, when that was written, work on the update was only just started, if that.  The phone was released only (if even) a month after Google made the big announcement of ICS, and IIRC, before the source code was even released.  After the source code was made available, HTC had to download it, then start to make it fit with Sense, then make that work with the Rezound specifically.  Once HTC had what they thought was a workable version, they passed that on to Verizon who had to do network testing, then send it back with a bug report.  You can see here: https://forums.motorola.com/pages/00add97d6c#legal what Motorola says about this process.  This always seems to take longer than anyone expects and, in fact, is kind of how I ended up in this forum while trying to dig up information about an upgrade to the Eris I used to use.
As of now, there have been 3 leaked versions (read: beta test versions), and none of them have been perfect, though the last one looks like they are close.  Aside from this, and the occasional rumor, you will, unfortunately not hear any dates given for the actual rollout.  I'm sure this is not on purpose, as Verizon does not want anybody to get their hopes up with "promised" dates that may, for one reason or another, not be met.
So, sit back, relax, and enjoy your phone how it is, the OTA will be here eventually.

  • Tecra M9-136 - BSOD during Vista SP2 update

Tecra M9-136 asked this morning to update to Vista SP2 and during the process the BSOD 0x0000007E arrived. Restarted in Safe Mode and the installer continued and then finally reported that the update had failed - and reverted to SP1. This took most of the morning.
It will start in Safe Mode but on a normal boot-up, Vista SP1 gets through the fingerprint recognition and then fails with the same BSOD (it doesn't get as far as displaying the desktop).
The laptop has BIOS level 1.80. I've tried in Safe mode to install 1.90 but it tells me that the battery has insufficient charge and the power adapter isn't attached. Both untrue.
Stuck - need advice. Could this be a hard fault? Can't see how I can update anything if it's a soft fault.
    thanks

The message with the BSOD mentioned checking BIOS and driver versions. Anyway, no change made to that.,
I tried System Restore but the only available restore point was the SP2 installation. I thought Vista was supposed to save a restore point every 24 hours even if nothing new had been installed.
I've now found in System Information / Windows Error Reporting several messages like this:

  • Cannot open and update IPhoto after upgrading to OXYosemite

From the App store, I downloaded and installed OXYosemite. There are 2 more updates available: iPhoto and iMovie. When I try to upload them, the notice I get is "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID  This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
I have 2 apple IDs when I inquire about my ids. Signing in App Store with either of them, doesn't resolve the problem. I get the same notice. iTunes, Mac, mobile downloads, all use the same apple IP, only for the computer downloads from App Store isn't working.
    What should I do?
    Thanks, Sev

  • Error message: "playlists selected for updating no longer exist"

I tried to update my ipod nano and I guess I had deleted a playlist, but since then, I have not been able to update. Every time I try, I get the following message:
"Cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exist."
I haven't been able to highlight which playlists are selected to begin with.
I read through the manual and thought that maybe rebooting the whole system might work. So I deleted Itunes from my computer and re-installed.
Then I tried re-setting my ipod. So now I have nothing on my ipod.
I also deleted everything from my library, thinking it might help to start from scratch. Nothing has worked.
How do I "select" and "unselect" playlists so I can get up and running again?

    Here you go.
