BPE_Adapter

HI all
Can anybody through some light on this?. During execution of BPM I am getting the error related to this BPE_Adapter..
thanks
N.Prasad Babu

Hi Prasad Babu,
Go to Transaction SXI_CACHE and make sure your BPM Process is with Status "0". If it is with status 99, click on "repeat activation" button to reactivate it.
Also, Refer to this document on SDN

  • Error in BPM in PI 7.1 : BPE_ADAPTER" UNKNOWN_MESSAGE

    Hi All,
    I have made some changes in Integration process in PI 7.1 and executed my interface, but now it is giving error BPE_ADAPTER">UNKNOWN_MESSAGE. Also it is showing "No object type found for the message. Check that the corresponding process is activated".
    I have also checked in SXI_CACHE if the integration process is activated or not. It is showing return code 0.
    I have deleted my BPM and created same with a new name and created whole ID part again with a new integration process, but the above error is still there.
    The process is getting stuck at the CALL ADAPTER step.
    Can anyone tell me where the problem occured exaclty?

    Satish,
    Thanks for replying,
    Actually I have created a new integration process wih new name deleting the previous one and then created whole ID part for the new integration process importing the new IP in my ID. Also checked if that new IP is activated in the SXI_CACHE. But still that error is occuring in SXMB_MONI in CALL ADAPTER step. I have not checked the queue in SMQ2 but does it matter as I have created new integration process and ID part agian?

    Its a bit generic error. So many things could be checked:
    1. In SWWL, delete the earlier running instances before running the new scenario.
    2. Reimport the IP in ID again. Save, activate and try running your scenario again.
    3. In tcode sxmb_adm_bpe - Automatic BPM Customizing, check for the error.
    4. Check if SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING appears green.

  • BPE_ADAPTER MESSAGE_NOT_USED Message is not used by any processes

    We need some help on BPM flow. We are at it for last 3 days without much progress. We are able to make sync call to same BAPIs and get data without any issue. However, with BPM we have this issue
    I am creating the simplest integration scenario as
    1.       HTML/HTTP-->BPM (Async)
    2.       BPM-->R/3 (Sync)
    3.       BPM-->File (Async)
    Created all required interfaces and mapping. I have some dummy mapping for first 2 cases. I am able to activate the integration scenario and Integration Process without any error. I am able to import it in integration directory successfully without any error. When I am executing the first async request from HTML client I am invariably end up with an error from sxmb_moni as

    i have three communication channels (file adapter) for three files
    one communication channel xi adapter for a proxy into sap.

    please help me correct this problem..
    thanks

    JP,
    Are u sure there is nothing wrong in your design part? Also Are u using Fork to receive 3 files parallely, If yes then all the 3 files has been checked for start process? Can u confirm this.
    Also in the Inerface determinations did u gave abstract interfaces that BPM is recieving?
    Best regards,
    raj.

    1. Did cache refresh using Tcode 'sxi_cache', IP object is giving return code as "99".
    2. We deleted the Integration Process object from Integration directory and reimported the object from Integration Reporsitory again.
    3. We re-imported the IR object from QA server again in Production, but it still didn't work. (It is working fine in QA environment).
    4. We went through following SAP Note 901366 & 910437 (Both have been applied).
    Can you please help us resolve this issue at the earliest.
    Regards,
    Ashish

    Hi Orit,
    We had this issue because workflow customizing object for use of xml object types was not activated in our system.
    This issue was resolved using tcode 'SWF_XI_CUSTOMIZING', and activate 'Activate Use of XML Object Types'.
    Hope this helps!!!

  • BPM - BPE_ADAPTER : Unknown message Type

    Hello Experts,
    I am developing a simple BPM scenario with just one receive and one send step. I have configured bothl the BPM steps along with the container elements and verified the objects in IR and ID. In SXI_CACHE the status of teh Integartion Process is '0' which is the correct. Can anybody advice please?
    Thanks in advance,
    Elizabeth.

    In SXI_CACHE the status of teh Integartion Process is '0' which is the correct. I tried reactivationg and redeploying the
    process several times too, yet message in PI faile with the below error description:
    In that case, delete the ID part for this scenario and redo the objects....from importing the IP into ID.
    If still not working then the BPM itself has to be recreated.
    If all the messages are properly configured in the BPM and still it is giving the error then it is a CACHE issue.
    I hope the BPM is just for practice purpose and not related to any project...as the design does not require to have a BPM

  • BPE_ADAPTER error on async BPM

    I am trying to build the Collect Time-Dependent scenario in BPM and I'm getting a BPE_ADAPTER error.  This is our first attempt at using BPM.  The error says Unknown_Message, "No object type found for this message" and is part of category XI Adapter.  I am trying to receive an IDoc, map it to a file structure, and append the file structure to a list.  After a set time period has elapsed, I want to FTP the collected data file to the destination.  I deleted everything from the process except the receive and send steps and I still get the error.  It appears to be happening in the Call Adapter step in the XI pipeline.  Any idea what could be wrong?

    Hi Lisa,
    There is one more SAP note which talks about this SWF_STRING stuff.....but i dont remember the OSS note number now. I will get it for you on monday.
    Try the following:
    Select your integration process from SXI_CACHE and click on the "activate" button.You will be navigated to the next screen. In this second screen, there will be an option to "delete" this process. Delete it.
    Then make a change to your integration process in repository say for e.g. add and remove description.And Save and activate it.
    Now check the status of the Integration process in SXI_CACHE to see whether the return code is 0.
    Let me know how it goes.

  • BPE_ADAPTER failure with S/A Bridge BPM

    Hello all,
    I've got really strange problem. After two days of searching I'd like to know your opinion.
    I'm testing simple BPM with S/A Bridge. Inside there is only a transformation of incoming message to response message - just for testing purposes. According to the thread [How to close S/A bridge immediatly without calling any asyn comm?|How to close S/A bridge immediatly without calling any asyn comm?] it's possible to do this.
    And now the troubles: on one installation of XI7.0 SP14 all works fine, on other two installations (SP11 and SP13) it doesn't work with same symptoms:

    All was triple checked, triple generated, checked against working system, SXI_CACHE-BPMs have got sy-subrc 0 .. all seems fine.
    One thing to be mentioned - there is no records in SXMB_MONI_BPE, so it seems to me that the BPM is not activated at all.
    Do you have any the slightiest idea what might be wrong ?
    Thank you in advance.
    Best regards

    Hello again,
    I did some sarching and comparing in the trace log. The trace logs from "working" and "not working" system are nearly the same. There are minor exception but I count it as a different logging as from the systems with different SP level.
    Now here are the parts, which tell something about the problem. First from working system:
    <Trace level="3" type="T">reset to synchron interface MI_TST_IPSAB_ABS http://dummy.max</Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="Timestamp">2008-12-02T07:11:05Z CET  qRFC raised on XBQO$PE_WS90000001</Trace>
    <Trace level="3" type="T"> setting SA BPE state to wait for 62B5E270C04011DDC33D001CC0781F94</Trace>
    .. now from not working system
    <Trace level="3" type="T">reset to synchron interface IF_IPSAB_SYNC_ABS http://xxx.zz</Trace>
    <Trace level="1" type="T"> Destination not found: </Trace>
    It still seems to me, that something is not generated correctly.
    Any ideas ?
    Tomas

  • CcBPM - BPE_ADAPTER : SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL

    Hi gurus,
    I am facing below errorn in ccBPM
       <SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    I checke din sxi_cache and it shows return code - 0 , what could be the reason!!!

    Try this :
    The BPE Adapter error may be also because of Inactive version of BPM runtime
    So as suggested check the SXI_CACHE again and make sure that Return value is 0.
    Also do this: Go to Transaction SWWL and delete all the errored entries which belongs to your integration scenario
    Then you can re-import the Integration Process into Directory so that it will be re-active.
    Solution:
    Step maintain prefix numbers allows you assign number ranges to your custom workflows on the ABAP side (BPMs)
    This is a post install step - pretty easy... You can ask your basis person, or do it yourself --> click on the execute icon and enter a number range e.g. 99* will work.
    As for your BPM - first step is check if the BPM was succesfully replicated to the ABAP side. SXI_CACHE, select the BPM and ensure RC is '0'.
    If all this works, then thats a good start.
    After that, check your queues, check SWI1 and check SWPR - for the possible errors with that BPM...
    Of course check RWB for the initial message that should have kickstarted this scenario and look at the status.
    check this links who has same error,their problem got rectified:

  • Error BPE_ADAPTER" SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL

    Hello,
    I have a problem in XI, now any RFC access it is running. We can not access to R/3 by BAPI or to send an idoc.
    We have all the BPM with CR 0.
    The error is after a generic BPM to collect the idocs. Then we send the data collected to a mapping out of the BPM and we obtain this error:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?><!-- Receiver Grouping --> <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand=""><SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category><SAP:Code area="BPE_ADAPTER">SYSTEM_FAILURE_INTERNAL</SAP:Code><SAP:P1/><SAP:P2/><SAP:P3/><SAP:P4/><SAP:AdditionalText/><SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace=""/><SAP:Stack>An internal error has occurred
    </SAP:Stack><SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry></SAP:Error>
    I tried to delete with swwl all the processes and to refresh the cache, but we still have the same issue.
    This morning we have restarted XI machine and the interfaces are not running. All are failing we we send an idoc to R/3 or do an RFC access to retrieve data by BAPI.
    Do you know what could be the solution to this issue?
    Regards,
    Xavier.

    Hi Viniytha/ All
    Chck whether your integration Process is active.. in IR. or reactivate it. Then In configuration delete the existing IP , again import and activate . See if it works. I had faced a similar issue. I reactivated the IP in repository( copied,deleted and made a new one) and this worked.
    I have done all above activities . But when I check SXI_CACHE
    It says Problem during cache refresh.
    Problem when updating object OutboundBinding-4F43C177727735A3BBE61EBB5C9DD85A. :Error occurred while creating profile for receiver agreement 4F43C177727735A3BBE61EBB5C9DD85A; channel A3C5F6D836BC3CB9925A8794E30AA758 not found on the Integration Server
    I cannot see my bpm object in Integartion Process Node
    I do not why I am getting the above error and not able to see my bpm object in Integartion Process Node
