BT payment cards and reactivation of services

I unfortunalty got delayed paying my bt bill due to the wether in december as my bt payment card had not arrived.  I then payed £30 on 18.01.11. today (25.1.11) i paid the remander of the bill to be told thaty it would take three weeks to get my sevices back.
I was told at the start of jan that if i didnt pay £100 on 4th Jan incoming calls would stop. so it did. I was also told then that if i didnt pay off all my bill by 31st Jan, broadband would be turned off.
Well bill paid - no sevice due to 3 days waiting time. not interested in the proof from reciept that i had paid. what aload of rubbish. got to wait till final bill (which will be blank) to then re-apply for sevices and be re-activated.
Isnt there something else bt can do to get me back on sooner

Thanks for the post and welcome to the forum.
I would need to take a look at your account to see what stage of the cease is your account at.  If your service have been completely restricted and your billing account ceased then you would need to place a brand new order for service.  You do not need to wait for your final bill as you will essentially be creating a brand new account.

    We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple.
    By 'pre-payment cards' do you mean iTunes gift cards ? If you do then what happens when you try to redeem them e.g. do you get any error messages ? They are country-specific, they can only be used in their country of issue.
    If you mean a pre-paid visa card, then part of the validation when adding a credit card to an iTunes account is that it is registered to the name and address that is on the iTunes account - which pre-paid cards won't be, so will fail that validation.
    If you mean something else ... ?

  • Load Balance Network Cards and Fail over services

    Hi,
    Im looking at setting up 2 MAC server each with basic services (ie AFP, Open Driectory, software updates and DHCP)
    Both servers are less then 12 months old and are both attached with GB ports to the RAID where all the user data is stored.
    My questions is how to I setup the 2 network interface cards to act as one and load balance the traffic accross both interfaces?
    also I was wondering if it was possible to fail over AFP services, so if one server went down the other would pickup file services where it left off?
    I know how to fail over OD and the other services dont matter to much.

    This is simple link aggregation in System Preferences -> Network
    Click the + button at the bottom and choose new Link Aggregate. Choose the existing interfaces (presumably en0 and en1) and you're set.
    Note that this requires support in the switch the server is connected to (it needs to support LACP), and that you will bounce your network connection when you set this up (so don't do it when the server is actively servicing clients)

    It's possible, but you need to be very careful with regards to data integrity. For example, typically each server is going to have a local directory (or directories) that are shared. If Server A fails and Server B takes over, how do you intend to ensure that Server B's data is up-to-date, especially with regard to files that might have been in use at the time?
    It's a tricky problem to solve without putting the data on a shared storage device using something like XSAN to manage arbitration, and now you could be talking serious $$$s.
    I'd recommend looking closely at your file serving needs and work out if it's necessary, or whether you could get by with dividing the load across servers (e.g. some sharepoints are on one server, other sharepoints on the other) so that only a subset of your users are impacted should one server fail.
    File synchronization/replication is a major issue (read $$$$$) for a lot of companies.

    Take it to the Cell provider's store and let them do it.
    Just make sure the phone is completely wiped.

    I know that 'Procurement card' can be given as a payment method in External requirement / Purchase order in SRM. The same can be cnfigured under SPRO-->Supplier Relationship Management --> SRM server --> Procurement Card.
    However, I am not clear the 'Payment card' functionality under SPRO-->Cross Application components --> Payment Cards.
    Is both are same? If so why both are referring to two diffent configuration settings.
    If not, what is the functionality of Payment Card and where we can use in SRM transactions.

    The main payment card categories involved in payment card processing in the SAP environment are:
    Credit cards
    Used for purchasing goods and services with regular billing, usually with extended credit.
    Customer cards
    Used by customers to buy goods and services from a specific merchant or group of merchants.
    Debit cards
    Used as a means of cashless payment. The cardholder's bank account is debited instantly.
    Procurement cards
    Issued on behalf of companies to employees for purchasing items up to a given amount.
    Walking cards
    Issued on behalf of companies to employees for purchasing a wide range of goods and services for company travel.

  • Delivery Block Based on Payment Card validity.

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    We are working on a scenario, where in we need to block the delivery based on the payment card validity date, which is given in sales order.
    The requirement here is, for eg. If a sales order is created during the payment card validity period, usually the partial deliveries referring the same SO. So if the card validity is over before the quantity is fully delivered, system should block the remaining qty for Delivery.
    The system is proposing a status block initially while trying to do the delivery, but once the block is released the delivery can be done even after the validity expiry date.
    Is there any standard process to block delivery based on Payment card Validity expiry date automatically.

    Hi Mr. PG,
    Put the payment method as P - Payment card in customer master.
    Enter the payemnt card detail in customer master in genral data page.
    Use user exit or create a program which check the validty date of payment card and if it is expired then put the delivery block in the customer master.

  • Order w/ Partial Payment Card

    Can you process an order for partial payment card and the balance thru normal AR?  Today we manually authorize our credit cards on our orders.  When we process an order where the authorized amount of the credit card is not equal to the net value + tax we get the error Insufficient Authorization when we try and delivery the order.
    Example
    Order
       Net Value = $2500
       Tax = $150
    We manually authorize the payment card for $2000.  When we try and delivery the order we get the error message V/048 Insufficient Authorization.

    As per my understanding you cannot do partial CC and partial A/R. One way you can solve this problem is to have a buffer value for any incremental amount in delivery for this you may have to tweak the user exit AUTHORIZATION_VALUE_SPLIT2, work with abaper.

    It's a credit card, not a debit card ? As far as I know that message will show if you are trying to use a card that was not issued by a bank in the same country as where your iTunes account is based (and you need to be in that country).     I have a Scenerio of Payment Card Authorization where system receives authorization for Payment Cards and if authorization is Denied, Authorization Block Check is Set at Header of Sales Order in Payment Card Tab.
    Now if the Client Requirement is to Create a Z Program to Remove only the Check of Authorization Block in Open Orders.
    I have tried all the ways, unless we give Manual Authorization in payment Card Tab of Sales Order the Block cannot be removed.
    Can you provide a Way Out in Order to only Remove the Authorization Check without Manual Authorization in Sales Order.

    Hi, when trying to add a new seat I was asked to update my billing info. I did this, but was then told my payment could not be used. I have since tried using 3 different business payment cards and none of them 'can be used'? This is very frustrating as we have the person ready and waiting for the seat. I comntacted Adobe via online help/chat, and they told me to wait 5 busineess days for someone to call me. Shockin! Any help much appreciated, thanks

  • Asking for verification at payment card stage to complete purchase

    I can't do anything on iTunes. I wanted to change my payment card and now all it says is contact iTunes to complete the transaction. I have entered my old card details as verification then entered new card. Same message. Can't get apps, even free ones or update existing. Apple support say they can't help.
